UPS in Denver, Colorado - Open Delivery Box Left on my front Porch!
UPS put a box on my porch on 7/11/14 that was busted open so badly that I am sure parts are missing. I have to return the package as I know items are missing from the package due to it being open. It looks as if UPS messed it up with getting it from the loading dock. I am pissed because of the neglect on UPS' part in caring for something that a customer has purchased. What if it was their delivery??? This could have been avoided and now I have to wait to have this picked up and a new shipment delivered. UPS promised to call back on 7/11/14 and didn't.
Terrible service, missed deliveres..tired of UPS!!!!!
This company is a joke. I deal with these clowns in the work place ( freight service is awful ) and on a personal basis ( when shippers use ups to deliver to me ). NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE UPS FOR BUSINESS OR PERSONAL USE. Missed deliveries, incompetent customer service and the company too large to take care of the individual customer. Today was the last straw. Driver was running late on the delivery and did not deliver. I contacted customer service and was willing to drive to the hub to pick up my personal package ( on Saturday ). Customer service ( including the Supervisor--Thomas Page very unprofessional-- ) told me that I could not pick up and I would have to wait to receive my package Monday. What kind of customer service is this? I'm done with UPS. I hope this Company fails.
UPS - Delivery Dates
Don't believe anything UPS posts on their web site or tells you. While it states clearly on the web site that I can change a delivery date, they do not, in fact allow you to do so. A package was sent directly from the store I purchased it from to be delivered as a gift. Upon learning the receiver would be gone for a week I contacted UPS to request a change in delivery date. They refused to do so as the package wasn't at the final stop, yet the web site says you have to schedule the change before an attempt is made to deliver the package. DO NOT USE UPS FOR ANY SERVICE! Beware.
UPS in New York, New York - Driver Lied!!!
I knew I had a package coming on the 9th of July. As I was checking my computer which said Out For Delivery, a note popped up saying Receiver not available. Well, I called UPS right away and was told this was the 2nd attempt and del would be made on the 10th. Same thing happened on the 10th. Meanwhile I checked my door and saw my neighbor had a package left by her door.Again, I called UPS and was told driver was here. This went back and forth until 7pm on the 10th. This morning I was told the packages were on their way back to shipper. Is it possible that the driver did not want to take package off the truck because of the weight? This was not my regular UPS person. He was on vacation. Of course nothing was done by UPS. Will not have anything shipped to me unless I know it will be delivered by my regular driver. This is the most horrible experience I have ever had. Don't want anything to do with UPS ever again. Some of their drivers are unreliable.
UPS in Jackson, Tennessee - Damaged container loss of hardware
Lack of communication about damaged shipping of a 2000 odyssey baseplate. Drop shipped from Roadmaster by UPS, box was damaged and 2/3 of the small mounting hardware (bolts) was missing. Trying to get a quick ship on hardware was null and void. Will never deal with them and do not recommend them. I will have to go to a local hardware store to get the rest of the hardware. Also will have to fabricate some of the spacers. If your not trying to meet deadlines for towing and have forever to wait, it might be alright. They didn't seem to care about my time frame. Poor customer service. And then they are programmed to ask you if there is anything else they can help you with. What a joke.
UPS driver lies
I recently ordered a package and paid the 1-2 day delivery option for UPS. The first day it was to arrive I was home most of the day. Later on the evening I found my Info Notice at the mailboxes at the front of my complex stating I was not home at time of delivery, which it happened that I was home during that time. So today I sat at home during the hours of deliver that was given in the prior notice in my living room with the blinds up, windows open, front door open and waited for UPS. Well they never came. I even went as far as leaving a note for them incase I was in the bathroom. On their tracking website it stated that they showed up at 3:25, I was home at the time, they didn't even bother leaving me a note at the mail box like they had yesterday. In fact I guarantee I was sitting in my living room by my front door waiting for UPS at the said time of delivery. Another person in my complex said the same thing has happened to her and that she has seen UPS just walk into our complex put a note on the mailbox and not even go up to a door. Of course to make me even more pissed off the supervisor at UPS customer service told me to pay $5.00 online and have the package brought to a USP business center when I requested they drop the package off at a location closer to me. So I am sure tomorrow I will be driving way out of my way to pick up my package when the lazy driver does not come to my door again.This UPS driver is lazy and a liar!!! Of course UPS will not give me a refund for their terrible service, I have to contact the business I purchased my item from. I will no longer order from sites that only use UPS for shipping.
UPS Failed to Deliver with no explanation
UPS tried to deliver on Tuesday but left a note - fair enough, I had to step out and shipper required a signature. Delivery re-scheduled for today, Wednesday. I stayed home all day. At 5:00, I chatted with Customer Service, who assured me that UPS drivers delivered until 7:00 and would keep delivering after that if they still had packages. At 7:00 I called Customer Service, who told me that the package had been re-classified undeliverable for that day but could not give me any reason beyond that. Obviously they know where my house is, since they left a sticky note on my door yesterday. At this point I have no confidence in their assurances that they will deliver tomorrow, Friday. Since their delivery center is closed on Saturday and Sunday, if they again fail to deliver on Friday, I will not be able to get my hearing aid until Monday. I ask them to just hold it at their delivery center so that I can pick it up myself on Friday. So tomorrow I will trudge the 25 miles to their delivery center and hope that they will actually have my package there waiting for me. Faint hope. With their track record so far, they could just as well try to deliver it while I am gone and classify it once more as 'undeliverable.'
Ups - Laptop Review from Lindenwold, New Jersey
So I ordered a laptop through HSN. I've been tracking my package through UPS because UPS has lost a package of mine before and couldn't tell me exactly where the *** it was. As of yesterday, my laptop should have been delivered. But it never was. I called UPS today and they know NOTHING. All they did was put in for an investigation. So now I have to wait 8-10 business days to even find out what happened to my laptop. I'm SO DONE with UPS after this.
UPS - Shipped my temp sensative meds overnight before 1030. They left them on the dock in Denver
Had me temp sensative meds packed by UPS and shipped by UPS overnight before 1030 am. Paid $86 for this. Meds cost me $700.00. UPS left them on the dock at the Denver facility and state they will deliver the package 24 hours after the agreed upon terms. UPS informed me that they have NO liability for their failure to honor the terms of the contract we entered into. At no time during the packing and payment process was this fact brought to my attention. If it had been. I could have and would have made other arrangements for delivery. Now I have to pay another $700.00 for the total failure of UPS, Their TV ads clearly state that if we pack it we guarantee it, What a crock!

The lockout is for 30 minutes from the last login attempt. You should be able to log in after that. Alex: But I need to ship and its nearing cut off. Its obviously me as I have the temporary....this is completely non sensical Sanjla P.: I understand this can be frustrating, but I am unable to unlock it for you. Alex: You (UPS) realize you just sent me a password that is going to work in my hands whether now or in 29 minutes which is after i need it Sanjla P.: Not quite sure I understand...? Alex: Its not so much frustrating as it is moronic in concept. Sanjla P.: You are sure this is not in CAMPUSSHIP? Alex: I have a temporary password. It wont work now but it will in 29 minutes. What is this security structure trying to prevent other than the account owner not being able to send a package Alex: POSITIVE. UPS.COM Sanjla P.: Okay. Sanjla P.: And you're certain you tried to login three times? Alex: I probably tried 4 before I requested the reset Alex: Thus the moronic part: you realize UPS sent me a password reset that I actually cant use to give you business Sanjla P.: Unfortunately, after three attempts I am unable to unlock it, as I mentioned before. Alex: I get that. So who can? Alex: or why is it that way...what is the delay possibly trying to prevent? Sanjla P.: No one in Technical, it is automated. Alex: So UPS has system to generate a password for the rightful owner but when they get it they can't actually use it? Sanjla P.: They can if it's within the three attempts.
