Poor Service not a World Class Shipper

Parts were shipped out Indianapolis on January 18th using expedited service to Yandina, Queensland. 5 lb box arrived in Botany facility on January 22nd and tracking showed cleared customs that day. Tracking also showed delivery to not occur until January 29th so a call was placed to the facility to ask if delivery date could be changed to an earlier date or if parcel could be picked up at facility. We were told no on both accounts. On January 25th the tracking page shows delivery date has been changed to February 4th.Yandina is not in the bush. It is a suburb just North of Brisbane. This is an unacceptable policy on behalf of what is supposed to be a world class freight company. We have spent 10's of thousands of dollars utilizing UPS for our preferred shipping company and just spent the last $200+ dollars for a delivery that could have been rowed over to Australia faster than the big brown cluster could do.

Rain Halts Delivery

When I checked tracking sits at 8 a.m. pig was on truck for delivery today (1/25/13)). At 3p.m., received notification that due to emergency conditions, pig would not be delivered today. Post Office delivered, Fedex delivered, even had a pizza delivered. A light wintertime mix was falling, but roads in the area were well treated. UPS is a disgrace that the lazy drivers they have use light wintry mix as an excuse not to work. My Dominoes Pizza delivery driver has a better work ethic than UPS drivers. Will switch my shipping method to Fedex or USPS (or maybe my pizza Guy) before i'll use UPS again. No wonder 77% of consumers hate the UPS Brownshirts.

Lost package is one thing, being lied to repeatedly....

Laramie Wyoming UPS Store: Hands down the worst possible customer service I have ever received. They lost my package.. ok, such things happen, then the real nightmare started. I called UPS corporate to start. Was told I had to contact my local UPS store first. Ok, did that. Was told that they had to contact corporate, and would get back to me. Day one, they told me they would contact me within the day. Come close, and not hearing from them, I called them - they said they had contacted corporate and were waiting to hear back. They didn't call me back this time - lie #1. I waited another 24 hours and heard nothing back. Lie #2 Third day in a row, I call them back to see if there's any updates - nope. Each time they promise to call - they never do. Well, that's just bad service, but it gets worse.... End of day three, I call corporate again - They had no record of any investigation, and no contacts from my local ups store. They had done nothing. Lie #3 I called them to ask about this, and they guy basically told me to *** off. They lied to be every step of the way after losing my package. Shipped on the 7th, out for delivery sense the 14, it's now the 25 and the investigation is supposedly started ONLY AFTER I did their job... I expect to hear nothing back from them. Go USPS, go fedex, go pony express, DO NOT GO UPS.

I'm so mad i'm shaking

UPS store packaged and shipped an article insured for $2,500. It arrived damaged. Almost 2 weeks later I am still waiting for them to get off their corporate fat *** and inspect the damage so I can get the article fixed and back to me. They were quick to get their $150 plus dollars but why hurry to look into their damage and pay to fix the item. It's just a customer. No big deal. Customers BEWARE...Try Fed Ex and get better service. I'll never use UPS again. I'll never use UPS again. I'll never use Donald Anderson Paradise No. Cal. 95969

Package sent back to sender because of Irresponsible Delivery People

So I had my sneakers sent by my friend from California to Rhode Island and he chose UPS. My friend told me that the expected delivery day would be Wednesday(1/23/13), but it came on Tuesday and no one was home. I signed the notice they left asking them to leave the package in the house and expected them to do so. They didn't come the next day and on Thursday (1/24/13)- supposedly the final attempt, IF they came on wednesday - my neighbors told me that they came for the 2nd delivery (not my house) and left a notice. So by the final attempt, my neighbor and I actually left their official notice (signed) to leave the package but they did not. I called them on Friday morning (1/25/13), George (who could care less about his job) said there was nothing he can do and would not tell me what to do next, except to call the sender (my friend). I asked George, what does the sender needs to do, he replied "nothing". I gave up talking to him, as he wasn't even listening to me. Now, this is what's posted on the UPS tracking: "The receiver did not want the order and refused this delivery. / Returned to shipper." What in the world? leave it here in Rhode Island so I can pick it up. No one refused the delivery!

Several Complaints and fed up.

Many packages that comes to my door I have had an issue with it. Either it arrives late, not at all or looks like it has been put through the blender or arrives at the wrong address. The most annoying thing this UPS driver does is ring my door bell. Before I put the sign up to not ring it, they never did. As soon as I started putting up the sign they do it all the time now and knock. A few times I beat them to the door and the driver looks down and runs off in a hurry because he knows he is making me angry. Not that I have ever done anything but give him a dirty look. I have a toddler and am trying to set up a home business that I have pretty much given up on because my daughter won't take a nap anymore because she keeps getting woken up. The only time I can get anything done is when she is napping. So, they woke her up so many times and I have a sign on the door that says do not ring. One day I had ordered some rugs and it never came but in the tracking says it was delivered. I have had to call up companies to replace products because they were mangled on more than two occasions. At this point I will list it as 100 dollars lost to play it safe but it could be way more. What is going on with these people? Do they not pay them enough and if not why are they taking it out on me? I am having the same issues with the OTHER company too. It is to the point where I am ready to do one of two things. Either get some investors together to create my own shipping company with qualified people who work for me or stop shopping online. I notice people who work for unions tend to exhibit this behavior and I think we need to get rid of unions.

UPS Leaves package outside in barn?

Update by user Jan 22, 2013

For some reason it posted twice sorry

Original review posted by user Jan 20, 2013
UPS left a Haier portable washer I ordered outside in a barn with no heat, no doors. The *** thing is it took more effort for whoever did it to put it in the barn then it would of been to take it to the front door. Two people were home all day, such *** drivers. also it happened to be the coldest night of the year I couldnt pick the item up untill the following day so it had to sit basically outside for 15 hours anyways so far it seems to be okay :) but still WTF??? Idiots

Who in their right mind would use UPS

I ordered a Nexus 4 cell phone on a pre-order on Dec 3rd 2012. I was informed by the vendor, Google, that it would ship towards the end of January. On Jan 17th, I received an email from the Google Play Store with a tracking number and the date of delivery would be Jan 18th. I called UPS before 6 pm to find out the status of my shipment, and they told me it would be delivered before 7 pm. I asked a Clifford at UPS to be certain that the driver ring my doorbell on my private residence [Single family home]. He said he would contact the appropriate people at UPS to raise my concern, because in the past, most recently on Nov. 21, the drivers don't ring the bell and either leave a no one at home sticker on the door or leave the parcel in full view on the sidewalk, I received a call about an hour after speaking with Clifford to tell me the parcel was delivered. Huh!! How is that when they didn't ring the functioning bell? I opened the door to check if there was a notice placed on my door, and there was none. While I kept the UPS CSR on the line, I checked my mail box and sidewalk for any parcels. None could be found, I told the CSR. So where was my package I asked Wendy, the CSR on the line. She looked into the matter and within 20 minutes, a UPS driver was at my door. I asked if he had the parcel. He said he was with another driver in the van when they delivered my parcel. He said the woman who was his partner, threw it on the sidewalk. Threw it? A $400 cell phone? He looked around and couldn't fond it and I asked if he was sure he got the right address. He said perhaps a different address. So I told him to start knocking on doors, cuz I sure as *** wasn't going to. I asked why he didn't ring the bell which I showed him was functional, and I mentioned that I specifically asked UPS to be certain that the driver ring my bell. So he replies, how the *** could they get in touch with him when he's on the road. I replied the same way you got the message that I didn't receive the package, you *** so why did you return to my house.....just intuition that perhaps I didn't get the package. Of course they have pagers, so WTF was this *** trying to pull. I phoned Google to complain about the missing parcel and they immediately sent me an email to confirm that it was missing and to reply to their email to consent to de-activate the phone. Now I will eventually get a full refund as Google has no stock on the item, and who knows when it will ever be in stock. But I've decided not to buy the Nexus 4 as Google will only ship UPS, and I refuse to deal with vendors who only use UPS as a carrier. This past November, I received an email from Asus with a tracking # from UPS on a return item [a Nexus 7 tablet] that was repaired and sent back to me. November 21 2012 I was at home also talking to UPS before 6 pm to find out the status of my shipment. I didn't know at the time that they delivered up to 7 pm. I waited until 7:15 pm and opened the door to see what was going on. There was a notice on my door that indicated I was not at home at 6:07 pm. Right! I was only talking on the phone to UPS at the time. I phoned UPS back to tell them the problem and they told me that they would send the item to the local UPS store. I went the next day to pick up the parcel after work, and was told that there would be a charge. I told the young lady that the freight was already prepaid by the shipper. I was told that I would have to pay an additional fee. I just walked out of the store after telling her what she could do with the parcel. I was at home the evening before,& I went out of my way to pick up the parcel at the UPS Store. WTF else do you want me to do? I got on the phone to the shipper and UPS and UPS tried a couple of times to deliver while I was away. I was emailed by them and was told that a supervisor would be phoning me up. I never received that phone call, and speaking to a manager he said that I wasn't home when the supervisor phoned me. I called him a liar. I was at home way before she called and I was speaking to him about an hour after she was supposed to phone me. I challenged him to call me up at home to prove I was there and not at the local *** hole. He wouldn't do it. It took UPS a f'n week to get my Nexus 7 returned finally. I wasn't going to budge form my house this time, not after all the effort I made to get the tablet on my own, because of one ignorant *** woman UPS driver who isn't qualified to deliver the weekly flyers. She's an *** who now caused me to miss the opportunity to have my phone, a phone I won't be able to buy and now will not buy because of the stupidity of UPS!!

Package not delivered for no reason

I ordered a wii u late wednesday night and got 1 day shipping. The package got to my city late thursday night and was 'out for delivery' all day friday. Of course, it wasn't delivered for some reason. It wasn't even attempted. The tracking updated to show that it wouldn't be delivered until monday. Nobody will be at my house from 2:30-5 monday because I have to work at 3 and nobody else gets home until 5. I don't know if it requires a signature, but if it doesn't and they just leave it on my front porch it'll probably get stolen since I'm in a pretty bad neighborhood. If it does require one, then I bet they'll attempt the delivery while nobody is home, because I mean, of course. There's kind of a reason I ordered one day shipping... I guess this is what I get for depending on piece of *** employees who don't care about their job instead of just buying it in a store.

I ordered an item worth 250 $, paid for 3 day express from China. They'd gotten my address wrong, (even though used PayPal), ups said they fix it and send it out. Just to make sure, I put the correct address on site (which didn't register).

Got a call Saturday from local hub saying because of exception

They'd deliver. Again I state my address ; ask if he got it.

Only to never recieve pkg. And! There false info on website w tracking sauing: delivered. Absolutely appalling. Now they ignore me and lie to sender. No they don't care at all. :cry

UPS is just a ridiculous company!! I scheduled a pick up the first time and waited from 9am (the appointment time is from 9am to 1pm) till all day but no one from the UPS has come.

I got so angry and called their customer service to talk about this issue. How they answer was that there might be some accident due to the weather condition (it was sunny that day by the way, hahaha!!) or other reasons, but this doesn't happen usually. The best way I can schedule another pick up. And I DID!!!

The second time is scheduled from 9am to 12pm, I waited until 3pm and there's still not yet anyone coming! I called again, the representative was totally wordless because it's already the second time and it's sunny again by the way!!! Finally she said usually the driver will drop by before 6pm. I was thinking, if it is 6pm, why schedule from 9am to 12pm??

Again, I missed my school appointment!

Now I learned my lesson! I'll never use UPS, this *** company again!

UPS DESTROYED MY PACKAGES - TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY

I sold a pair of floor speakers on ebay. I shipped them from New Mexico to Pennsylvania. Each speaker weighed about 60 pounds. I asked the UPS Store how they would pack them and followed their recommendations. I also bought the insurance. What a complete waste of money. The speakers arrived damaged beyond use. I filed the claim and they denied it saying that they were not packed well enough. Of course they said that! It is up to them if they decide to pay me back. Why did I ever think they would take responsibility? So they charged me $85 to ship each speaker, my items were damaged by them not being careful with them, and they take no responsibility. Now I am out the $170 I paid them because I trusted that they would deliver them safely, along with the $400 I had to refund my buyer. And UPS walks away clean. I can tell you I would NEVER ship a large or heavy package with UPS again. I am only glad that I did not pay them the $240 they wanted to use express shipping. I would have been out another $480. No wonder UPS makes a profit of over 1 billion dollars a year - they take it from their customers. I will do everything possible to never use UPS to ship or receive anything again! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Customer Lost

1. Packages (when shipped from retailer via UPS) were left in front of our garage, instead of the front door (where they usually are left). In front of the garage the packages got wet to the point they needed to be re-packed for shipping. The front door has more coverage than the garage, I have no idea why the packages were not dropped at the front door as is the norm. 2. Same Packages brought to UPS store in Seattle, cost to ship to Austin, TX ~$100.00 per package. The Address provided was off by one digit (my fault, I own that), which ended up right accross the street from the intended address. The person at the incorrect address called UPS said the items were not for them and requested UPS return them. Did UPS call me (the one who paid for the shipping) or the phone number of the recipient? No. They simply shipped the packages back to the UPS store in Seattle without any attempt to get the package to the rightful recipient. Note that the shipping details I was required to provide at the UPS store included the phone number of both myself and the recipient. Did they think I spent over $300 dollars in new packaging (~$100) and shipping (~$200) to have the items come back to Seattle? Why not call the one who paid for the shipping? He was required to provide a phone number.... Had they called either my phone number (the one who paid for the shipping in the first place) or the phone number of the recipient, or even the UPS store where the package was being returned (who could have called me), we could have had the intended recipient walk across the street and collect the items (christmas gifts) at no cost to anyone. Instead UPS delivers the packages all they way back to Seattle, at their own cost. I do not get notified until the UPS store gets the packages and want me to pick them up ASAP. 3. In working with the UPS store and susequently UPS Customer service, I get stuck in a corporate versus franchise finger pointing game. The staff at the UPS Store are very polite, thery empathise with me, but tell me I need to call UPS to get any sort of explanation as to why no calls were made, they did after all require my phone number and the phone number of the recipient. Then in talking to UPS they say that collecting phone numbers is a franchise policy and they don't use phone numbers when a situation like this occurs. For a company that has its brand across both corporate & franchise entities, they act as very very different companies. So I'll collect my packages from the UPS store, and that will be the last time we use UPS or a UPS store. I'll ship them via alternate carrier (USPS, FedEx, etc.), and will do the same for all of my shipping concerns going forward. Most of our family lives out of town, so its more than a single item, but I realize UPS could care less, they are one of the largest shipping companies around, the loss of my business will not impact them, none the less I'll be damned before I give them anymore of my money.

UPS Driver doesn't like our street

I have been waiting for packages that were to be delivered yesterday. I called UPS and they said the local delivery facility would return my call within a hour. Did not happen.I just learned on line that they won't be delivered today either.because the road is not plowed. We have had 1" of snow yesterday; this is Vermont! Roads do not get plowed for 1" of snow. Now they say I cannot go pick up my packages until 7:30 at night. The package I am worried about is perishable and should not remain on a truck for days of storage. Their attitude is not the attitude we used to get from UPS. They just don't care.
