UPS in New York, New York - Driver lied about delivery
The former driver was great, he never lied about delivery. But it seems like the driver is changed because in my recent order, the driver lied about he failed to deliver the package while I was home. Every time he just dont ring my doorbell to notify me to receive the package. In the 2nd attempt of the last time, after I checked the tracking detail shown delivered, I found out he just left my package near my mailbox. The driver is just too lazy to ring my doorbell and take the elevator to the fifth floor to deliver my package. Shame on UPS to hire such unreliable person!
Late Delivery Review
Dropped off package with 4 premium cincinnatti reds tickets valued at $160.00 each for next day a.m. Delivery. Tickets were for the 11th and were not delivered until the 14th. U P S response, we will refund your shipping charge of $33.13 in ten days
I was supposed to recieve a delivery by the end of the day on Friday July 11th.2014 My delivery usually arrives by 3:30, but my regular driver was away & the substitute driver could not find my address on his map book so didn't bother delivering it. I phoned UPS at 5:07 to double check that it was going to be delivered and had them give me the address so that I knew it was correct. All the information was good and they said yes it was on the truck. So my husband waited 4hrs for it & it never showed. I called UPS back again at 7:04 that evening after speaking with someone there for 23mins they said I would get a courtesy emergancy call back between 8am-10am Monday morning. I am sad to say that my call back was late, and UPS has done nothing to satisfy me as a customer. The women on the phone hung up on me & wouldn't listen to me. She just said the address was wrong & I tried to explain to her that it wasn't because I had phoned to verify that. She just made up some exuse for her driver & hung up on me. The complaints manager that phoned me was not very professional at all.
UPS in Brooklyn, New York - Never Received packages
I live in NY, where vacationing in Seattle, I shipped two packages to myself in NY. I never received the packages , yet UPS tracking states they left them at the front door. I live on the fourth floor and the front door can be anywhere. I called UPS and they stated they would do an investigation. After no one contacted me after two weeks I called them back and they stated the case was closed because the driver stated he left one package at the front door, the other package is (your guess is as good as mind). I do not understand how one pays a company to deliver packages and they leave the packages anywhere they want. What type of business is this?

Just finished talking to UPS customer service via UPS Live Chat and they weren't helpful at all. Wanted to add delivery instructions to a package since I will be leaving town tomorrow. Something I found you can easily do on the tracking page after the rude exchange on chat. Basically, Quincy, the customer service rep, kept saying there was no way whatsoever to add delivery instructions or contact the driver when you can do it in no more than 1 minute on their tracking page. When I told him that he ended the chat without asking if i needed any anything else just ended the chat.
UPS in Singapore, Singapore - Parcel delayed and with no concrete updates
Hi UPS, My parcel was sent on 8 July, Tuesday morning from China, and is still not here in Singapore. By looking at the tracking system, I am puzzled with your way of handling my parcel. From Dongguan China to Hong Kong to Taiwan, and now your sg personnel told me it's going to Shenzhen before coming to Singapore. Customs has been cleared in Hong Kong, and it is now in Taiwan stating that UPS had missed the scheduled transfer time. Latest update since 12 July: "A UPS error had delayed delivery. We are adjusting plans and working to deliver your parcel as quickly as possible" Today is already 14 July, with no further updates on a concrete date for delivery. Tracking number: 1Z188A790453914280 I am so disappointed with your service, and hope for a clear explanation on this matter. Thank you.
UPS - Package damaged
WHEN I RECEIVED MY HOT TUB COVER THE BOX WAS DAMAGED. WHEN I MENTIONED THIS TO THE DRIVER HE SAID NOT TO WORRY UPS WOULD TAKE CARE OF ANY DAMAGES IF THERE WERE ANY. I SIGNED THE DELIVERY PAPER AND THERE WAS NOTHING ON IT ABOUT RELEASING THEM FROM DAMAGE. THE DRIVER WAS IN A HURRY AS HE WAS RUNNING LATE SO I TRUSTED HIM. UPON OPENING THE COVER THERE WAS A TEAR IN THE COVER. WHEN I SUBMITTED MY CLAIM THEY SAID TO BAD. NEVER TRUST UPS----IF THE PACKAGE IS DAMAGED OPEN IT UP NO MATTER IF IT MAKES THE DRIVER "RUN LATE" FROM NOW ON I WILL TRY TO USE OTHER SERVICES AND ALSO INFORM ANYONE THAT ASKS DO NO USE UPS.....

UPS in Denver, Colorado - Open Delivery Box Left on my front Porch!
UPS put a box on my porch on 7/11/14 that was busted open so badly that I am sure parts are missing. I have to return the package as I know items are missing from the package due to it being open. It looks as if UPS messed it up with getting it from the loading dock. I am pissed because of the neglect on UPS' part in caring for something that a customer has purchased. What if it was their delivery??? This could have been avoided and now I have to wait to have this picked up and a new shipment delivered. UPS promised to call back on 7/11/14 and didn't.
Terrible service, missed deliveres..tired of UPS!!!!!
This company is a joke. I deal with these clowns in the work place ( freight service is awful ) and on a personal basis ( when shippers use ups to deliver to me ). NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE UPS FOR BUSINESS OR PERSONAL USE. Missed deliveries, incompetent customer service and the company too large to take care of the individual customer. Today was the last straw. Driver was running late on the delivery and did not deliver. I contacted customer service and was willing to drive to the hub to pick up my personal package ( on Saturday ). Customer service ( including the Supervisor--Thomas Page very unprofessional-- ) told me that I could not pick up and I would have to wait to receive my package Monday. What kind of customer service is this? I'm done with UPS. I hope this Company fails.
