Ups - Delivery Review from New York, New York

I have had bad experience with UPS before so I never get things delivered to my address anymore but my *** husband ordered something n forgot to change the delivery address. The first day they rang the doorbell, I asked who it was n I opened the door using the buzzer, he never came in n left a sticky note. Second day no bell no note. Today I was home the whole day waiting n now I finally gave up n came outside, guess what? Sticky note on the door. I *** hate UPS. Who do I complain to????!

UPS in Albuquerque, New Mexico - Fraud investigation to further delay shipment for six weeks after delivery to an unknown address

I was watching the tracking information twice a day. There was an entry that stated that the package had been delivered and signed for by a person I do not know. I live at an apartment but the note on the tracking details said that the package was left at the "dock". UPS customer service was useless. He would not answer any of my questions and demanded that I contact the sender. I called a local UPS store. I had to call several times because the phone had a busy signal. When I finally got through, the lady was much nicer and she was apologetic in her inability to assist me. She said that a fraud investigation has been launched and that I will not get my package for at least six weeks. I am truly amazed at the gross incompetence of UPS from the driver all the way up to customer service and administration. These people are proud of their stupidity and complete lack of common sense. A driver drops the package wherever to be rid of it and gets a stooge to sign "BENS" on the documentation. I request that the package be delivered to the address on the package but instead it has to be withheld from me for six weeks while mentally retarded monkeys at UPS do a fraud investigation. If these people are too *** to read an address, how is it possible to do a fraud investigation? This is the same logic as taking a dummy out of special ed and placing them in a class for Algebraic Topology. I am in awe of the ***.

Here's what happened.

You called and talked to someone nice at a local UPS Store but she didn't do anything so no one knows your package is not where it is supposed to be.

How do I know?

Because the UPS Store has nothing to do with the delivery of your package, unless they shipped it from their store. The only people that CAN help you are the shipper or UPS the carrier.

The nice lady wanted to get you off the phone and get back to work so she told you what you wanted to hear. Because she doesn't get paid to do that. Just as if you had called McDonalds or Home Depot asking someone there to help you.

And UPS wouldn't do anything for her anymore than if you had Home Depot call to help either.

Call your shipper and ask THEM to help find your package.

They are who UPS has to answer to, they paid for the invoice when the package shipped. UPS owes them an explanation and they actually have leverage to get help, why do you dim bulbs insist on calling the wrong people to ask for help?

You're a little insensitive and prejudiced, and frankly wrong, certain autism cases actually EXCEL at mathematics, BUT...

I agree that they are monkeys with computers. The only NCRC test I didn't platinum or 100% was the locating information section, so you would think that people who do paperwork for a living could just punch in a couple keywords, find the driver, then check his gps and his scanner and figure out where he left it, in around 5 minutes they should be within the ballpark.

What I REALLY hate is that there is NO WAY WHATSOEVER to tell them in advance where to leave a package.

I find them on my porch, in my garage, even my cars. What if I had a girl over and she didn't check the back seat before I need my parcel, United service?

UPS delivery delay and lie

I am waiting my shipment from 6:30 am and get below message: "07/16/2014 10:47 Customer was not available when UPS attempted delivery . Will deliver to a nearby UPS Access Point™ for customer pick up." I am sure that the delivery guy never show up in my place today. he is too lazy to deliver the item and just leave my item in so called UPS access point location, which I do not have time to pick up in their open hours. The Item was already 7 days delayed. I talk to other people and I was told that I should not use UPS since UPS service is bad.

Someone at UPS stole my tv

On July 5, 2014 I bought a 48" tv, basketball goal, and basketball from amazon.com, 2 day delivery. According to UPS tracking, the tv was on a truck and would delivered on Monday by 8:00 pm EST. Monday was perfect because I am off every Monday. The goal was going to be delivered by FedEx on Tuesday, and the goal did come as expected. The UPS driver came to deliver a small box which contained the basketball. I asked the driver where was my tv. This was a new driver; my husband knew and used to work at UPS with our regular UPS driver. The new driver looked at me and asked, "What tv?" I explained to him that my tv was supposed to be delivered today along with the basketball. He muttered in a smart tone, "I don't know nothing about a tv." My husband called UPS customer service and told them that we got the ball but was told that the tv is on another truck, so we should be getting it by 8:00 pm EST. After this time passed, my husband called again and was told that the tv would be delivered the next day. The next day came and still no tv. My husband made contact with a supervisor who he knows personally at UPS. The supervisor told him that the truth is the tv is lost and to contact UPS to get another tv. How in the world could a big box like that get lost???? My husband told the supervisor, "Remember I used to work there. Someone stole the tv." Amazon ordered a new tv, which was flawlessly delivered by FedEx the next day. I never want to use UPS again.

You're a liar plain and simple.

The driver muttered in a smart tone? Please!

Of course he wouldn't know about your tv if it wasn't on his car. And you would know that IF your husband HAD worked at UPS.

Your husband never worked at UPS or he would also know that missorts and delays happen. Considering that UPS ships millions of packages a day, it's bound to happen.

And if he had worked at UPS he would not have just called an old supervisor to ask where his tv is and be told it was lost.

Do you think the management at UPS sits around all day looking at past employees shipments to see if something isn't delivered and then just call it lost? Or that they have that info at the top of their mind so when a past employee calls they will know?

No, his supervisor would have said it's probably been missorted and will arrive as soon as possible when it gets here. Good to hear from you. Or he would have started a tracer.

Next there is the matter of the supposed 500 loss.

How did you loose 500 when you got your tv supposedly the next day? That sounds like you didn't lose anything, genius. Lastly the bit about the FedEx delivered the next day, they rarely send tvs nda because of the size. Most likely the tv was originally sent via fedex and not ups and arrived as was originally scheduled.

They sent two things via fedex and one via ups. But for some reason you think UPS had the tv.

Did you ask the first fedex driver why he didn't have the tv when he delivered the goal post? You're just another dimbulb who she be kept away from sharp objects or ordering on the internet.

If as you say, your Husband worked there, he would know the inner workings and that possibly it had been missorted and will show up at a later date.

UPS never on time delivery

Third time UPS was late with my delivery: email notification stated shipment will arrive between 2:15PM and 6:15PM. It finally arrived after 7:30PM - exact time unknown as my "extremely urgent" packet was just dropped off at my front door without the delivery guy bothering to ring my doorbell. Guess he was a) either in a hurry, or b) didn't want to be chewed up again since I did express my dissatisfaction the last time my package was not delivered within the designated time window. What gets me is that the package was "out for delivery" at 6:45AM.... Have to tell folks to use FedEx next time!!!

Out for delivery means it was put on a car, that is all. The drivers don't even leave the centers until 9 am.

And btw, they have more packages to deliver than just yours you selfish, self-righteous f00l.

So they will deliver it as soon as possible and they don't have to deliver anything except time guaranteed packages (eg NDA) until the end of the business day. Someone's package has to be last you know.

The time of delivery is only an estimate, you complain when you have a Dr appointment and you do not get seen at the exact time of your appointment?

Dinner reservation, and you do not get seated at the exact appointed time, and you complain? Go to a movie, and it starts late, you complain about that, too?

Seems you feel the world revolves around, and the world should cater to you!

Sorry, reality is that will not happen!

UPS in Brooks, Georgia - Failure to deliver

a delivery "attempt" was allegedly made at 10 am..I was home, literally waiting for a knock at the door. I left highlighter green post-it "please knock" dated with today's date...kept checking front door and side door, just in case. expected package contained wine and needed signature...temps for last 2 days were 90 plus (this was a second attempt as we tried to prearrange a redelivery with another delivery that was coming the following day, but it would have cost $5...silly me trying to save UPS a trip...) scheduled shipment marked as delivered to front door -- it was in front of my garage; redeliver not present and no notice left. checked email of second delivery...stated second attempt at 10 am..customer not home. called customer service, told a manager would call back within the hour; they didn't. called c/s again; no record of my first call. assigned a case number and told to call back within 20 min if no one called me. third call: I was told we could pick it up or have it redelivered tomorrow (which they would have to do anyway). after 20 minutes of back & forth the call disconnected. what can brown do for you? well, they can't deliver a package, that's for sure.
