Ups - Delivery Service Review

At 730p on 7/28 I was out walking my dog when I heard something rumbling down the road soon followed by a blaring horn when I was already off the road. Speed limit is 20 mph but must have had a deadline to meet. Sure enough less than a minute later I heard the horn again and saw a guy and his kids riding their bikes come up the road. To make matters worse as I turned back up my road there he was finishing off his delivery. So what does the professional do..hits the gas and revs his engine as he passes us. Honestly what an *** and I will never use ups again. I will gladly discuss this with ups as I wasn't able to get through to the local office here

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - Ordererd a damaged table >:(

We recently ordered a table for our dining area and we had to a wait a week and half for it to come. First downside was that it was scheduled to arrive from 12 pm to 5pm and it arrived at 9 AM, when we weren't even expecting it. One of the chair legs was broken in half, and there were some chips in the wood here and there. The UPS driver probably took it on a long ride and probably broke it, or the person who packaged it was careless enough to just throw it in the truck. 900 dollars wasted, and now we don't know if they are going to ship us a new one or the same one. Very bad service UPS, this driver should be shamed.

If it was damaged, take it up with whoever packed it, as they obviously didn't pack it correctly. Also, when items get damages is not when they are on the delivery trucks, it's when they're on the conveyor belts and in the back of the semis. The actual driver you were dealing with was probably as frustrated with it as you were, as no one actually wants to deliver a busted up package.

Aggressive UPS Driver Blared his Horn Until I made an Illegal Right on Red

On Monday, July 28 2014 at approximately 9:30 am, I was on Jones Branch Dr. in McLean VA at a stop light to make a right onto International Drive. This is a large intersection with THREE right hand turn lanes. Drivers can only make right hand turns on red when they are in the far right lane, drivers in the other two lanes have to wait until the light turns green. I was in the middle lane. A UPS truck is behind me and begins aggressively laying on his horn. Finally, I gave in and made an illegal right hand turn to get him away from me. He pulled into the lane next to me at the next stop light (an exit lane for Rt. 267 West Bound) and he looked at me, clapped at me, mouthed "good job" and gave me the finger. I followed him onto the Toll Road, where he nearly side-swiped a blue Toyota Highlander. This was a middle-aged white driver. License plate number was VA 34-116

You could just have sat there. So he's laying on the horn, who cares?

Let him. Unless he pushed your car with his truck he didn't force you to make an illegal turn, he was just being a ***.

UPS - Useless

1/UPS, left a card to say you were not in so dropped parcel at dropoff point 2/Went to dropoff point next day (Satuday), not there 3/UPS said they will contact depot 4/Depot phoned and says we have parcel but it is locked in cage and the managers are refusing to come to open the cage so you can't collect 5/Poor guy in depot said you are the 10th caller this morning and yes it is a bad service that we offer. So, even UPS staff say the service they offer is bad, DO NOT USE UPS Just put UPS reveiews into Google there are 100's of complaints

UPS - Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE company

This is the worst deliver service Ive used. They make zero attempt to deliver my packages and instead lied to me and said that I wasnt there to collect the item (they dont tell you when they're going to deliver the item). They then lied again on the second run and said I wasnt there to collect to item (again, this was at a random time). I gave them specific instructions how to get to my floor (no security is required) and they still couldnt do it. Easily the worst service Ive every used and will avoid using them again at all costs.

Yeah I don't know how or why you expect them to provide you with a timeframe. How about their normal delivery timeframe which is basically 12 hours between 8AM and 8PM? Other than that there is no way for the driver, dispatch or anyone else to know when they are going to reach your door.

I had a similar issue. I had a pick-up arranged for a return and left the package out and even typed notes saying UPS for pick up and to where.

The call tag was issued by the company I was returning the package to. Well, they never showed, and when I called I was given 3 different reasons, all of which were outright lies. I left the package out at 7:00 AM in the morning, but was told it was not there, then when I told them it was left out, then I was told it was not sealed, of course it was and informed them of that, and finally they said it was because I was not there, which was not necessary!

They tell me they will come Monday, but then tell me not to "mess it up" ~ I am aghast at this! WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN~!!!!

They were also the worsed i've ever used.

I ordered a thing online around 5 days ago, and i checked the tracking number this morning, which told me Estimated Delivery is around next Wednesday.

However, when i was about to head out of my house, i found a notice stuck onto my door which said that they attempted a delivery a few minutes before. I was at home ALL DAY LONG, just in my room and i didn't even hear any knocking sounds.

Other services i've used will call and check to confirm if i am not at home, but UPS does not even do that.

On the notice it just said to call UPS and so i did. The lady was so rude! She was like - Next estimated delivery on tuesday. So i asked: is there no way to get it today?

The delivery man left like only minutes ago! And she just repeated what she said before.

Now i'm just hoping i get my parcel on tuesday since the delivery man doesn't even call me.

Am i supposed to stand at my door all day long to wait for him?

Not going to use them ever again.

Do you really expect a call saying when they will deliver your package? Some couriers have 100 to 150 stops a day, like they have time to call your sorry ***!!!!!

UPS - Drive lied that there was an attempt to pick up and dispatcher misrepresented the pickup date!!!!

I have called 5 times and I was told that on july 24, there was an attempt, which was a complete lie as my office faces the front door and I was working throughout the day. In addition to this lie; I have been on the phone with dispatchers telling me that a pickup was scheduled by 7pm today. I am now on the phone with another dispatchers---this time in South AMerica! and they are saying that a attempt to deliver. I said that this is not a delivery..it is a pickup. The Central AMerican supervisor by the name of Joseph, 1031193 id number is telling me that is still being pick up tonight. On Friday night at 8pm--who are they kidding. I am filing a complaint tonight. And I am NEVER using UPS again.

Ups shoddy service repeatedly

In the last 6 months, I have had the following experiences with UPS: 1. Marked a packaged as delivered, but I didn't get it. They told me to go door to door to look for it in my neighborhood! 2 months later, they delivered it. They left it at some random house several blocks away even though my address was clearly on it. 2. Attempted for 3 days to deliver a shipment to an address I haven't lived at in 7 years. Was just clothes I'd ordered online and sent to my home. For some reason when it arrived in town, they decided to deliver it to this old address even though the tracking showed my current address. I had to call them 4 times to fix it because I would call, they would say it was fixed, it would show out for delivery, then exception wrong address.. day after day even though I called them. They told me they had ''no idea'' how this happened. Logistics! <3 3. Marked a shipment ''delayed no further information available'' on the day it was due for delivery. No info on where it was, when it would be delivered or why it was being ''held.'' Scary that they can do this to your items. Still haven't received it and they apparently are at no obligation to explain, just to ''check the tracking often'' is their solution for me.It wouldn't be bad if ok, fine it's delayed , it happens, I get that... it's when they tell a customer they don't know why. They don't know when it will be delivered. They have no information... that's the part that's unacceptable. That's kinda what we paid you to handle. Whenever a UPS item is send with their Mail Innovations system and handed off to local post office for delivery - it's aces. I get everything on time , even early sometimes. When it's in the hands of only UPS, it's a nightmare. We stopped using them for a few months after the #2 on my list. Tried again and here's #3.

Ups has got to be the worst lyeing shipping company ever every single time I buy something and they say there going ship it ups I know they ups will screw it up and they do never a doubt they suck I will never use that company and I think if you hear ups run away as fast as you can

UPS in Victoria, British Columbia - Never received a bill or invoice, then get a collection claim

1st, I HATE UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their invoices usually show up about one month after the item is delivered, in our case, the clients job is completed and they've been gone for a month. Try chasing your clients a month later for a stinking late UPS bill. In this case the bill was never received by us so we had no idea there was an outstanding amount due. Next thing I get a letter from a collection agency. So I had to call UPS to find out why I had never received an invoice or bill. The UPS person claims they use an automated phone call as a follow up for late/unpaid bills. GREAT just what I need....another time wasting 1-800 call. The best thing about call display is we can ignore this ***. UPS, send a *** bill in the mail. You have my address!!!!!!!!!! UPS is so useless, even the delivery driver has no idea how much we owe them when they make a delivery.
