UPS in Ridgewood, New York - Set up to fail
UPS is a mismanaged corporation. They push their people to the absolute limit and then kick them when they are down. The job can't be done properly with their expectations and unrealistic workloads. Very few of their employees are loyal to the company but at the same time are very loyal and appreciate their customers. We know it is the customer that puts food on our table. UPS delivers nothing but misery to the thousands of people that work there. It would probably be incorrect to blame drivers solely for an undelivered package and dishonest recording of a delivery attempt. The driver was most likely following the instruction of incompetent management and a failed technology system that attempts to remove all human thought out of all processes of all UPS workings. You could not even begin to grasp the system they use. It will tell you up is down and left is right but you are forced to follow it. Probably because they spent countless millions on its development so now they will ram it down your throat.....you all thought last Christmas was bad.......the future could be much worse.
Havent received delivery and UPS is saying they have delivered to my address
I believe UPS is the worst courier service i have ever met. Ordered some product from TOMMY HILFIGER and got an email from them saying it will be delivered by UPS. I waited for my delivery date at home and when I checked online tracking system, its written delivered and collected. I was very much surprised as I never got a ring bell in my flat. called up twice to customer service and both time they confirmed that it has been delivered to my address. Its been two full days since UPS has updated their system saying its been delivered and I havent received my product yet. I dont understand why these big companies like TOMMY HILFIGER dont want to use ROYAL MAIL which I believe is much better than UPS. Still waiting for my product and only god knows when i will receive my product. totally rubbish UPS
UPS in Chicago, Illinois - Poor attempts at delivery and poor customer service.
I missed by first two delivery attempts because I was at work. That's fine. One the third and final attempt, I stayed at home all day, waited a few hours outside on the curb for the driver, and I even signed the back of the second delivery slip so that the driver could just leave the package by my door. I still did not get my package. I contacted their online live chat support explaining what happened, and they said that a customer service representative will reach out to me in the morning. In the morning, they called and let it ring two times before hanging up. I wasn't able to get to the phone in just two rings, but that's fine. I tried calling back immediately, but the line was busy. I attempted to call back ten more times with no luck. This is going to be the last time that I will ever have anything shipped through UPS. If I am trying to order something online that requires UPS shipping, I simply will just not complete my order and walk away. I mean, what's the difference between having it shipped by UPS and not buying the item? You won't get the package either way.
UPS - Driver lied that he attempted delivery
I ordered a Microsoft Surface 3 Pro with 2 day delivery from Microsoft. I needed this to present to 1300 teachers in my local school system - picking between Surface or iPad. I spent an extra $9.99 to have delivery by Tuesday, July 29th and I was at home eagerly awaiting the delivery. The truck never drove by or stopped, and the tracking number said they attempted delivery at 7:42 - which was the time I was outside watering my grass! No trucks ever came by. The driver wanted to go home early because UPS overworks their help.... But at the detriment to customer service.
Ups - Delivery Service Review
At 730p on 7/28 I was out walking my dog when I heard something rumbling down the road soon followed by a blaring horn when I was already off the road. Speed limit is 20 mph but must have had a deadline to meet. Sure enough less than a minute later I heard the horn again and saw a guy and his kids riding their bikes come up the road. To make matters worse as I turned back up my road there he was finishing off his delivery. So what does the professional do..hits the gas and revs his engine as he passes us. Honestly what an *** and I will never use ups again. I will gladly discuss this with ups as I wasn't able to get through to the local office here
UPS in Chicago, Illinois - Ordererd a damaged table >:(
We recently ordered a table for our dining area and we had to a wait a week and half for it to come. First downside was that it was scheduled to arrive from 12 pm to 5pm and it arrived at 9 AM, when we weren't even expecting it. One of the chair legs was broken in half, and there were some chips in the wood here and there. The UPS driver probably took it on a long ride and probably broke it, or the person who packaged it was careless enough to just throw it in the truck. 900 dollars wasted, and now we don't know if they are going to ship us a new one or the same one. Very bad service UPS, this driver should be shamed.
Aggressive UPS Driver Blared his Horn Until I made an Illegal Right on Red
On Monday, July 28 2014 at approximately 9:30 am, I was on Jones Branch Dr. in McLean VA at a stop light to make a right onto International Drive. This is a large intersection with THREE right hand turn lanes. Drivers can only make right hand turns on red when they are in the far right lane, drivers in the other two lanes have to wait until the light turns green. I was in the middle lane. A UPS truck is behind me and begins aggressively laying on his horn. Finally, I gave in and made an illegal right hand turn to get him away from me. He pulled into the lane next to me at the next stop light (an exit lane for Rt. 267 West Bound) and he looked at me, clapped at me, mouthed "good job" and gave me the finger. I followed him onto the Toll Road, where he nearly side-swiped a blue Toyota Highlander. This was a middle-aged white driver. License plate number was VA 34-116
UPS - Useless
1/UPS, left a card to say you were not in so dropped parcel at dropoff point 2/Went to dropoff point next day (Satuday), not there 3/UPS said they will contact depot 4/Depot phoned and says we have parcel but it is locked in cage and the managers are refusing to come to open the cage so you can't collect 5/Poor guy in depot said you are the 10th caller this morning and yes it is a bad service that we offer. So, even UPS staff say the service they offer is bad, DO NOT USE UPS Just put UPS reveiews into Google there are 100's of complaints
UPS - Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE company
This is the worst deliver service Ive used. They make zero attempt to deliver my packages and instead lied to me and said that I wasnt there to collect the item (they dont tell you when they're going to deliver the item). They then lied again on the second run and said I wasnt there to collect to item (again, this was at a random time). I gave them specific instructions how to get to my floor (no security is required) and they still couldnt do it. Easily the worst service Ive every used and will avoid using them again at all costs.
UPS - Drive lied that there was an attempt to pick up and dispatcher misrepresented the pickup date!!!!
I have called 5 times and I was told that on july 24, there was an attempt, which was a complete lie as my office faces the front door and I was working throughout the day. In addition to this lie; I have been on the phone with dispatchers telling me that a pickup was scheduled by 7pm today. I am now on the phone with another dispatchers---this time in South AMerica! and they are saying that a attempt to deliver. I said that this is not a delivery..it is a pickup. The Central AMerican supervisor by the name of Joseph, 1031193 id number is telling me that is still being pick up tonight. On Friday night at 8pm--who are they kidding. I am filing a complaint tonight. And I am NEVER using UPS again.
