UPS - Delivered to incorrect aparment refused to do anything about it

UPS delivered my package to the incorrect address, and told me so. Then proceeded to keep me on a 25 minute phone conversation until finally, after being passed off from person to person and being placed on hold, they told me to contact the seller for a replacement. So lets recap, UPS admitted to delivering my package to the wrong address and then refused to do anything while wasting a bunch of my time in the process. Oh, and they gave me promises of reimbursement and package replacement the entire time I was on the line. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I knew I would not be home so I signed off on the back of the form. My son came home and showed the driver the signed form and the UPS driver told him that I would have to leave work to sign for the package.

I called UPS only to be told the driver can do whatever he wants.

I read them the back of the form and was told to refer to the website for their policies. Absolutely the worst customer service from the driver to the supervisor and everyone in between!

UPS in San Ramon, California - Cheated customer

UPS - Cheated customer
Hi I went to Danville, CA UPS store yesterday and mailed 3 packages and asked for a tracking for my package. They charged me $9.53 for each package and sent the mail through USPS priority mail. If I have gone to USPS I would have been charged $ 5.60 per each priority mail. So I have been charged $3.93 for each package since I dropped it at UPS instead of USPS. This is completely ridiculous. They would have just advised me to go to USPS and drop the package. When I called this store and asked for a refund they said that they cannot provide me a refund. I called UPS customer service and they said that it is a retail store and deal with the store directly. When you cannot advice your customers the best please stop charging them additionally. i am very upset and completely disappointed with this store. ****Please post this on your website so that other customers will not be cheated.**** If the parcel was still in the store i would have picked up and dropped it at usps today requesting a refund. But the parcel has left the store. This priority mail service is useless beacuse my packet was in the Danville store for the whole day today. If I would have dropped my packet at usps yesterday, the shipping would have started today. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY NO CUNSUMER SUPPORT AND NO REFUND

What store from any company is going to tell you to go somewhere else because it's cheaper there? It's not up to the store to let a customer know about all of their competitor's prices; you should have shopped around first and all you're feeling right now is buyer's remorse.

I know, it happens, but it's not the UPS Store's fault. Also, as far as surcharges go, theirs isn't terrible and it even says on the receipt that "US Postal Rates Are Subject to Surcharge."

Also, even if the parcels had still been at the Store, you wouldn't have been able to get a refund.

Once the postage is put on a package, there are no refunds, which is because as soon as a meter machine prints the postage, their account is charged. You could have still taken it to the post office if you had wanted to, possibly, but they had already provided you the service, so a refund wasn't going to happen.

UPS - Liar liar

I was waiting for a package to be delivered on Monday - it never arrived. When I checked the web site on Tuesday to find where was my package it said that they had tried to deliver it but my house did not exist. When I communicated with on live chat they said someone would call me within an hour. It so happened I was on the phone when they called. When I called them back none answered the phone. I think it was a bogus number. Long story short after must frustration I had to drive 10 miles each way to go pick up my own package. The Ups driver either lied or he doesn't know how to use google or any other type of technology to look up an address. He shouldn't be making deliveries. Frankly I think he/she lied. They shouldn't call themselves a delivery company when I have to go pick up my own package.

UPS in Omaha, Nebraska - Never in my life have I been treated so rudely as a customer.

I have never written a complaint in my life until now. Worst Customer Service I've ever encountered. On Aug 26, I tried to pick up a package from the Customer Center on 27th and Q in Omaha Ne. The man working there was rude, interrupted me several times, rolled his eyes, spoke to me like I was annoying him, gave me false information, then said to the other employee working with him that I have "no mind" then snickered. He said his name was Marty. Early 50's age. I will now be leaving bad reviews on multiple websites about UPS. Worst Customer Service I've ever seen.

UPS in Los Angeles, California - Can't get the delivery instructions right

This is the worst delivery service out there...EVER!!! Bar None!!! You guys can't get it right. This has happened 3 times already. I spoke with an agent, asked what I needed to do to have the delivery guy leave the package on the front door. I followed his instructions. The next day, I didnt receive the package so I called again and they said that I requested to pick it up tonight at their facility! How did that happen?! The package is very important as it contained my Medication. Pls get your act together. This is not the first time this happened. Never had any problems with other delivery service. Something Definitely is wrong with the system you guys are working on. Somebody change it or you might literally kill someone, by having their medications delivered late, when they needed it. Pls get your act together

UPS service failure AKA "Undelivered Package Service"

I sent an over night envelope with a large cashiers check for a payoff on some Oregon property. The package was left in the UPS terminal over night instead. It never left Bakersfield until the next day. This cost me money in interest and a new payoff had to be figured and resent. It is going FedEx. This is the second service failure I have experienced with UPS. To add insult to injury they make you wait 7 to 10 days to get your refund for their service failure. I would not recommend them for any type of time sensitive delivery and probably not at all.

UPS - Never showed up! Lied about coming

I was refusing a package and they were supposed to come and pick it up today. I waited till 4:30 pm and called them they stated would be delivered at 7 pm.. no package called back then it was 8 pm ...then they said would be delivered but could be as late as 11:59 pm.... I asked if I could drop it by some place so I can get it off my hands they said I would have to pay for it if I did that. Needless to say no one ever showed up. Not to mention when we called the gal that answered the phone the next time was same gal we spoke to previously she got our tracking number and put us back in the phone system. We got someone else we asked for a manager and he put us on hold and then put us back through the system. Not ok

I called the local ups this morning and spoke to Tanya and she said the driver will deliver the package by 12pm today. I waited till 1:30 and called back and the manager whom I spoke to yesterday tells me that the delivery will be made after 5pm today.

Now it seems like all UPS people just lie to you and waste people's precious time and money. I feel that something has to be done and hold them responsible for lying to consumers.

What the ***, UPS just do what ever they want to do and don't take the responsibilities whatsoever. Disgusting attitudes and service.

I was waiting for a $4300 package all day today. I waited all day checking the UPS website of the status. Last check was made at 7pm and it showed that the parcel is out for delivery. I waited till 8:30pm but the UPS didn't come and I checked the website again and it said " the receiver was not available and that first attempt was made, will try to re deliver tomorrow" when the UPS guy didn't even come close to my place. This is the second time the UPS driver messing up my day. UPS is just lying that he made an attempt without actually making the attempt. When I call the local UPS office the manager there says that he will hava a word with him but that is it. Nothing changes. What can be worse than lying company? I am really getting sick of the terrible service from UPS delivery guy who is a liar.

Same type of experience--- I was having a package picked up and was told that would be here by 7 pm then was advised 8pm then I was told they could deliver it up to 12:59 pm.... What the heck?

But was going to be delivered today! DID NOT HAPPEN! I feel your frustration....the whole day the whole day and night!!

They are liars----- customer service sucks!! I do not know how they stay in business, Truely

UPS - Worst customer service and worst mailing service.

I've had so many issues with this company. I've been waiting 3 straight days for a package that is already on my town because they can't find my house when USPS and DHL don't have that issue. How is it that UPS doesn't even have a *** GPS. On top of that, they don't at least call the *** number to see where the heck their supposed to go when the customer has called like 5 times to ask for the *** package. It is so dissapointing and such a headache and if it weren't for the senders choice of mailing service, UPS would definetly never ever cross my mind as a choice because the irresponsibility, the lack of respect(because the way I was talked to was not even with ethic) is definetly annoying and not recommendable to anyone.

UPS is the worst company!!!

I am so upset and disgusted! Every pkg UPS delivers to me is usually severely damaged. I don't mean a little dent, I'm talking about whole sides of boxes smashed in. Just today, I received a stand mixer that cost me a small fortune and the whole outer box was crushed on top! All of the air pillows inside were deflated! Every box looks like they were thrown, not just dropped on the floor! Also, about 2 years ago, I arranged for them to pick up a pkg which contained a cable TV set top box, I was returning to the cable company. I waited the entire time frame that was given to me when I arranged for the pick up and no one showed up. I called UPS, because I had an appt. I had to keep and was told that since I had a certain number from the address label, I could safely leave the box outside and it would be picked up sometime that day! I put the box outside and as I was backing out of my driveway UPS appeared and picked up the box. I saw the UPS guy pick it up and put it in his truck! It was never delivered to the cable company and UPS claimed they couldn't find it. To add insult to injury....the UPS employees I speak to on the phone are usually nasty and condescending.

For the case of the mixer, packaging something fragile with just air pillows is entirely inappropriate. That's the company that sent it's fault, not UPS's.

For something like that, at the very least it should have been held completely in place by styrofoam, if not fully bubble-wrapped and then surrounded by peanuts. If it had been packed like that (which is according to UPS packing guidelines), it would have been fine.
