Tracking program is essentially useless. It doesn't update nearly fast enough to provide any any real value. Also, I recently had a package missorted which resulted in a 5 day delay. So rather Than receive it in 4-5 days, I'll get it 10. Thankfully, the shipper sent another with expedited shipping at no cost to me.

Lazy Delivery

Normally, I'm very patient with delivery services; after all, they are doing something for us that we do not have to do, and I almost never ever complain. I'm a very small person, only 60 inches tall (5 feet). And the past 20 or so deliveries to my home, all of them have been left in my driveway, including furniture that clearly says it needs 2 people to lift. That box was almost as tall as I was. That was the worst of it. Now they are leaving boxes stamped heavy in the middle of the driveway, never knocking, ringing, anything. I'd only know they were here from my dogs if I'm home. This is so incredibly straining on me, and by no means would I consider myself a lazy person. One thing you never want to come home to after work is 5 heavy boxes in your driveway at night so you can't even park. I've taken a habit of looking before I even pull up because I've almost hit some of my parcels. I've never had a delivery company do that before. Honestly, it's just them being lazy. Not to mention, a few years back, I wasn't able to sign for my engagement ring because it could have been a deadly weapon, or a small gun, in his own words.

If you order *** online, you have to realize the shipping commitment ends at your doorstep. Ups isn't gonna bring it into your house nor do they have to help you get it inside

Lost/Stolen package, poor customer service.

I purchased my son a laptop for Christmas. I stood home from work to retrieve the package as a signature was required upon delivery. On Day 1 the UPS driver claimed that my address was incorrect/invalid and they were unable to deliver the package. Address was confirmed as correct with the seller and UPS customer service so I don't know what happened. On Day 2 UPS driver claimed that nobody was home to retrieve the package which is incorrect. I live in a small apartment and would have heard UPS but they never came or even left a note stating they tried to make a delivery. I was home all day! I called UPS that night and they were unable to locate my package. I asked UPS to hold my package when they found it as they clearly had problems delivering it and I would pick it up. I was assured they would call me for pick-up, instead a 3rd attempt to deliver the package was made to the WRONG address. Some stranger signed for my package at an unknown address and now my $600 purchase is nowhere to be found and my son will not have his Christmas gift on Christmas morning. UPS customer service is terrible, they did absolutely NOTHING to help rectify the situation even though their driver screwed up on 3 separate occasions. I'm beyond upset and UPS doesn't seem to care. I spent several hours on the phone with their customer service and nothing was done for me.

yes I agree ups is a piece of sh...e , I order a ps4 for a Christmas gift from best buy and they can do anything right now , I want to cancel my order from best buy and get my refund but I cant get it because my package is under investigation and is going to take around 7 to 10 days . so my son is not going to get his present on chrismas.

Ups is not honest!!!

I spent $52.20 for 2lbs 2oz, which was first class mail international, on 1st August, and the store location is 10006 cross creek blvd in Tampa, Fl.I was told my mail will spend about 10 days to arrive, and am ok for the time. After 2 weeks, it had not arrived yet. I tracked online, and it said my mail already delivered to the Sender's home on 1st August, which is very confuse!!!! My mail came back on same day???? OK! The real story just started! I went to that ups store at least 7 times, their staff very loudly said they do not have any responsibility to my mail when it was picked by post office!!? I went to the ups store, but they gave me post office service?! I may careless on this point, but the staff still has their duty, they should told me that very clearly. Then , the ups let me go to the post office to check my mail. The post office super advisor answered that my mail was over weight, which it could not through to the international letters service !!!! It sounds the first step was wrong, the ups was wrong !!! But they denied that, they always repeat " no any responsibility"! Also said they change the new owner, they don't know what's happened before! At the same time, I found the ups charged $52.20, only $23.40 went to the post office. The ups got $29.80 agent fee!! and they can say "no any responsibility!" Of course, my mail will lost!!! Tooooo cheap way to international! Does this service can be existed long time? No place can redress it? Too arrogant!!! At least, return my mail, or reparation. But they said no to both!!

I do not understand how UPS has any involvement with the U.S. Mail.

Am still confusing too! I went to the ups store to send international mail, very small box, later they told me my box was used by post office service..... And it lost up to 3 month, they said they don't care!

I ordered furniture through online and expecting delivery soon,and all the sudden I received a text msg from you guys with UPS link on it three days ago.I called you guys to just find out the delivery date.And it turned out a delivery person had shown up twice already.But I didn't notice that as He/She didn't leave any note or whatsoever.Anyways,this is not my/you guy's fault but the apartment I live has technical issue with door buzzer and It doesn't work and at this moment I have to wait until stuff shows up at front door at my apartment whenever I receive parcel.I told so to the operator and she said they could not specify when delivery person would show up,so my husband suggested her that maybe he could get parcel at his office.then she said after he gave his office address that address change would cost him $50 and so he asked to switch back the address as soon as he heard it.So both of us thought you guys didn't change address at all and the operator told us that a delivery person was coming next day to our home.As I didn't have functioning door buzzer I waited at the front door of the apartment for 5 hours or more yesterday,but no one showed up.So yesterday evening I called you guys again and heard there was error on address in the database and couldn't make delivery that day and she would switch my address back,which turned out she didn't but at that moment she apologized and told me that another delivery would be coming today.I just called you guys this morning to just make sure if the parcel was really on the way.It turned out that you guys neither did change my address nor the parcel was coming because you guys didn't change address in the first place,even though I and my husband asked to change address twice.I totally understood that you said this is before Christmas and you have lot of parcels coming in...But Isn't it just excuse?I would apologize to you guys If you said I was talking with you guys in rude manner but I was really furious about the quality of the way you guys dealt with me as customer.If you said delivery was not coming I was still OK with that but Instead you guys said the delivery would come.and that have not happened.The last person I talked with told me that I would get the delivery tomorrow and also told me It was up to me whether If I believe or not I could count on her and there was nothing she could do more than what she said in a very stern way and I did not feel from the any of you guys operators that they had any responsibility.Now,all I would like to tell you is that I know that everyone makes mistakes sometimes but you should not repeat same mistakes over and over like this.I do not live to wait parcel everyday and you should know better.So please provide better service quality.I can not afford to waste any of my time waiting you guys.

"Brown" can't even deliver a package to a house when someone is home and no signature is required.

The delivery driver left 3 notes on the door then returned the package to sender at 7pm on the third day. They tried to deliver it at 4pm. No signature was required so the driver could have left it on the porch. I was told via customer service chat that it is at the driver discretion to leave the package. The house is at the end of a private driveway and not even visible from the street but driver still elected not to leave the package. I was home at the time and in the basement. He just needed to knock loudly.

On 02/17/15, the package was upgraded with cost from USPS delivery to UPS ground delivery with a delivery date of 02/19/15. Midday on 02/19/15 I confirmed the delivery. After the package was NOT delivered, I contact UPS, and was told that the package had not arrived at the delivery hub and probably would not be delivered until 02/23/15. FOUR, 4 days late. And of course UPS put the blame on the shipper.. I would love to hear them take responsibility for THEIR actions.

payed for overnight shipping for an item that was only coming from the next state. My item is here in my area at the shipping center but i am now told that due to weather snow and rain it will be able to be sent out. this is ODD because its nothing BUT SUN OUTSIDE! I have made contact with three different people about just going out there and picking up my item but this is not allowed and they do not work on weekends so now i am not able to get my item till the END OF NEXT WEEK!! UPS will never have me use there services again and will not order from anyone who sends items out through ups.

First I had a package sent to me via overnight. I waited all day and finally called at 430. Customer service was unable to provide me any details except that it was out for delivery and would be there by the end of the day. The package was not delivered until 7:15: 12 hours after it was put on the truck. I waited ALL DAY & they could not give me any delivery time estimates. Number 2: a package was shipped to me via Ground. I knew I was going out of town for the weekend so I requested that the package by dropped off at the UPS Store & I ALSO left a big signed note on the door explaining this. The package was left on my DOORSTEP!!! I am out of town and a package is sitting on my doorstep for anyone to take! I will NEVER EVER use UPS. And from this point forward I will avoid companies that shipped using UPS.

UPS destroy my 60'' SMART TV

UPS shipped my 60'' smart TV from L ASSOMPTION to EDMONTON, but the TV 's screen is completely destroyed during the shipment and they refuse to refund to me because they said that it is on the risk of the shipper. Firstly, they sent one person two times to pick up a big box even after being noted the weight and the dimensions of the big carton. Secondly, the carton has been opened before be delivered to my house in EDMONTON, because the tapes put by the shipper have been moved, the stand( base) of the TV is not in carton when I receive the TV. Thirdly, they picked up my damaged TV for inspection but they sent a mail to the shipper on DEC 30 to decliner their responsibilities in this issue. Forthly, we found several traces of hits on the back of the TV. The TV itself have a protective screen to protect TV from a shock. Now on the screen of the TV, there are scratches everywhere, it shows that the TV got really a big big big shock. How UPS dare to say that it is on the risk of the shipper because the shipper packed the TV by his package. Even we packed the TV by a metal package, if UPS does not do the thing properly, the good will be damaged anyway. In plus, how UPS dares to deliver a damaged TV to the receiver and like nothing happened. They know the TV was damaged, and they opened already the carton before the final delivery. How dare they do that!!!! Is there any justice in this world

Absolutely terrible service. Still not got my pakage

They texted me to say they were delivering last Thursday. I knew I wouldn't be in so tried the online tool to change the delivery date. That was a a mistake. Wasted an hour trying to get the site to work and then gave up. Came home to a card on Thursday saying it had been left in my local pick up point. Normally not an issue but this package is 10kg, large and I am seven months pregnant. I called ups on Friday and asked them to redeliver on the following Tuesday's. I waited in and it didn't turn up. When I hadn't heard anything at all by 11am I called up. The call centre said it was not down for delivery but said they would message the depot who would call me in an hour. Four and half hours later (and three more phone calls from me) I finally got a call saying they would add it to the delivery drivers list and get it delivered. I waited in all day till 7pm when it still had not arrived. I called them again and they were really rude and unhelpful and said they had not explanation for why it hadn't been delivered and would arrange for redelivery the next day. However, like most people I haver to go to work and couldn't be in again. I now have no idea when I will get my package and will probably have to wait in for a whole extra day to get it and even then they probably won't turn up. Perhaps I should pay another delivery company to pick it up for me????? I'm 200 pound down for the item I have paid for which ups refuse to deliver. They are rude, unhelpful, unresponsive, and completely unable to deliver. Which is the only thing they are meant to do. Utterly useless. Message to ALL suppliers. Use dpd or Royal Mail instead. Please.

I stayed home because the UPS tracking said my package would be delivered one day sooner that I had anticipated. When I called at 6:45pm fifteen minutes prior to the end of their delivery date they told me that the delivery method is 3-5 days. Now I will have to stay home an additional day and lose pay for two days. They were very patronizing and could only say that they were sorry that they didn't live up to my expectations. They never notified me by sms or email. The tracking still shows that my package will be delivered today between 11:45 and 3:45 pm.

My the pound package sat in forest Park ga for six days and ups claimed it was due to the weather! !! Paid extra for faster dlvy. I am only twenty minutes away and it had been cold but sun shiny and no bad weather! !!! Ups sucks

UPS - Drove over it!
I received a package from ups at my office this morning. From the marks on the package, it looks like they dragged it down the block and back or it got caught in a belt. The package was torn and ripped. The bubble package inside was also ripped. The CD case inside was smashed and in pieces. Luckily, the CD was ok. When they delivered it to the receptionist, they didn't say they were sorry, ask if it was okay, asked if we wanted to file a claim or anything. Just drop and run without a word. Nice way to do business UPS!

Your time is worth it to prove a point so you can get 3 cents or less for the CD case!

I have seen similar damage occur when a thin package gets stuck under the guard between belts at FedEx. Most often occurs when someone new is allowed to do smalls duties without someone senior watching and doing corrections. Clearly UPS's fault so you can claim damage for the case for what its worth.
