UPS in Los Angeles, California - Customer Service is incapable of providing service to customers

I tried for a week to change the delivery address of a package (to 5 min away from the original address), and despite being told I could do this via Amazon, or do it online, or be texted and contact them once the package arrived at the local UPS warehouse to change it, I was prevented from doing any of those things because of UPS. After at least 5 calls to UPS, including to 2 supervisors, I realized that nobody there can either ensure that their processes work correctly, or handle basic customer needs. It is also impossible to share with their corporate office that their presumably outsourced customer service is either stunted by their lack of access, or simply told by protocol to do nothing of any help to customers. If I ever have a choice in the matter, I will use Fed Ex, DHL, or the US Postal Service.

UPS in North Bergen, New Jersey - 9 months Pregnant: 3 Packages MISSING

Ahh, where does one start when talking about UPS? Well lets see, there's the 2x where I got a phone overnighted as I was going to Florida 2 days later. I stayed home from work and out in the open where I could clearly see the street. Blinds all the way up, with NO WAY you couldn't see that I was home as the whole front of my house that faces the street has plenty of windows. I even opened the balcony!! What happened?? After checking all day and evening, I check the tracking number at 6:40 and it says that no one was home AND that they rang the door bell. Now, my door bell is extremely loud AND you can push the *** button to talk!!! So I call and they tell me it will be delivered the following day….SAME SITUATION, this time, it was reported that no one was home. I called in Furious!! and the lady said because I live 15 away from their hub I could always pick it up. I told the lady I was leaving for a flight in the morning and they were closed anyways!!! She agreed after 40 minutes of arguing to send it to the address I'd be at in Florida for no charge. They were going to send it regular shipping and when i reiterated I don't have a *** cell- it finally clicked and they overnighted it. Another time, (well several times actually) they leave stickers at door without knocking or ringing doorbell which really *** me off- because I will be home. NOt to mention it'll be around dinner time. WTF isn't home during DINNER TIME??? Ive literally had to leave a message on my door saying RING THE *** DOORBELL FOR PACKAGES. I've sat in my living room and watched them DRIVE BY and then shortly after mark down that they stopped by but no one was home! What kind of BS is this??? Presently, I have had 3 packages come, and another 2 coming. I am 9 months pregnant…. I HUGE package came for me, and I checked the shipping and it said delivered and signed!!! This is the 2nd package this week that said I SIGNED FOR THE *** AND MY DOOR BELL NEVER *** RANG!!! Now when I call them, they say on their end that it was delivered but was not signed for….hmmm… now at 9 months I have to wait for packages concerning my new born to come in while they do some investigation on some odd number of packages MISSING. Heres the problems I see with UPS: -Some drivers are plain lazy, they would rather play with peoples packages by reporting them delivered and they aren't. Or leaving little stickies instead of walking their lazy *** to see if someone is present -They don't check to see if they are leaving it at the right house/apt/suite -A neighbor Signing you have no clue what that relationship is or what they will do with the package so why not double check -the lack of common sense to double check an address baffles me -if you don't want to deliver packages DONT be a delivery person-SIMPLE!!

Same here, freaking lazy driver dropped by and said no one's there (while I waited at home all day long), and the delivery sticker checked the FINAL ATTEMPT at his first attempt! They expect me to go and pick it up but then the definition of DELIVERY is to send the package TO MY DOOR, not PICK UP!

UPS does not understand this!

their service is very very bad and I will never recommend and use them again. NEVER.

Quit complaining and quit playing the pregnancy card. That has absolutely nothing to do with your complaint. IF you are nine months pregnant, you probably shouldn't be traveling.

Lazy UPS driver ever!!!!

The tracking number of my parcel was shown that the delivery date is yesterday, so I scheduled to work from home and stayed home all day long yesterday and waited for the delivery. Towards 4pm, I checked online again and it still shows that the package was 'out for delivery' since 7:43am. By 5:30pm, I went downstairs to get my letters from my mailbox, and surprisingly, there was a UPS sticker showing that the driver attempted to deliver my package at 4:50pm! By all these time, NOBODY has ever buzzed my doorbell from the intercom nor anyone called, and it shows that it was the "FINAL ATTEMPT"... which makes it look like I wasn't home for the FIRST and SECOND attempt of delivery, which was not true at all. When I called up UPS, they said someone from the UPS store nearby will call me at 10am the next morning to schedule the pick up. By 10:40am, since I still did not get any call from UPS, I traced the status online again. This time, it said someone else had signed for my package... WTH??? I called up UPS again, and they said it was the local UPS store who had signed on behalf of me, and signed as Delivered. This is the UPS store at Town of Mont Royal on Lucerne street. Sandra, who was on the line taking care of my case at the UPS, said someone from the same local UPS store will call me within the next hour to schedule the delivery. As of now, 11:40am, there isn't a ring at all. What kind of service is it? First starting with a lazy driver who did not even wanted to ring my doorbell and bring me the package from his truck, and secondly, he checked the "FINAL ATTEMPT" checkbox on the delivery sticker, which had already planned not to deliver the package again. This morning, the staff Nicole from the TMR local UPS store had signed my package without contacting me for the delivery or pick up. If I don't check the status online, does it mean she will keep my package for her own use??? Shouldn't she wait for the package to be delivered to the client's hand before signing it? This is totally unacceptable.

Not the first time I have issues with UPS. Similarly, they said that I'm not home to pick up the parcel, but I was home all day long waiting for them...

UPS - 5 Days to deliver a package from Dublin to Athlone, still not done...

It has been 5 days since my package is in dublin and waiting for the same. I stay in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Initially they mention ; Dublin, Ireland 16/09/2014 This delivery address is in a remote area where deliveries are not made daily. After that they said : Delivery attempted but address was incorrect. Next Day : I called them and correct the address. They said they will try to deliver it but again same stuff. They have not called me a single time. I am really amazed by their service.............. What I can do ?Where I can complain about this ?

Sloppy delivery, irresponsible and lazy UPS driver

Was informed by UPS via email that my package would be delivered on 9/16 by 8:00pm. They then changed that to: by the end of the day. I purposely did not move from my home all day to be sure to catch the delivery. By 8:00pm no UPS delivery had been made. I decided to check on line to track the package. To my surprise it showed a delivery of 10:43am with a note: left with woman customer. I, the woman customer never received that package. After some investigation with other tenants in the building I learned the next morning around 12:00 noon (this is 24 hours after the package had been delivered and still not in my possession) that my package had been delivered to the office person who in turn gave it to the building representative who took it to her apartment instead of promptly delivering it to me. So as I was conducting my own investigation trying to locate my package,the building rep at that moment was leaving her apt and motioned to me that she had a package for me. Since she had in the past held onto one of my packages for a period of 6 days and is totally irresponsible I wondered that had she not seen me, my package would still be sitting in her apartment. I blame the UPS driver who was at fault for not delivering the package to me personally, and for falsifying the written record by indicating that he had delivered to the customer. And for those two incompetent who accepted it with total disregard as to their timely delivery to the concerned party. I complained to UPS who responded that the driver has total discretion and they practically washed their hands of the entire thing. 1) I totally wasted an entire day waiting and 2) finally got my package after more than a 24-hour delay and 3) got into an argument with those 2 incompetent building reps. who absolutely denied having done anything wrong.

UPS must accept responsibility. Drivers must do a better job and keep a true record of their deliveries. Not try to cover their tracks by lying.They must be held accountable and someone must take responsibility

UPS screwed up my delivery and would do nothing about it.

My order ended up in Minnesota when I live in the northeast. I called UPS and "unfortunately" there is nothing they can do about it. SOOOO....they (UPS) WILL PAY BIG TIME because I will make sure all my resources will use FEDEX instead. I was nice at first on the call, then I became nasty because it was their fault and this multi-million dollar company WOULD DO NOTHING TO HELP ME OUT! It was their error,and nothing to help the customer. This issue will hurt UPS more than it will help them. I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO HURT THIS COMPANY.

UPS - Failed delivery.

u.p.s. failed to deliver, due they said to a wrong address.when I tried to email them my correct address their site said to click on the address change button,NO address change button. I then went through the very lengthy process of filling in one of their online forms, when the form was filled it then said some boxes were not filled in, careful checking revealed all boxes filled. Then all of form wiped clean. Did this FOUR times! then gave up.I am now in the process of trying to telephone them, and trying to find a ,complaints department

UPS in Virginia Beach, Virginia - Multiple complaints about the same terrible delivery habits

This is about the 9th time I have complained about this. There are too many times I didn't complain to even try to count. Yesterday a package was delivered to my house. It was left by my garage door. No one knocked on the front door to let anyone know it was out there. The item in the box was a $1500 dollar electronic item. It was needlessly left outside, exposed to potential weather changes or even for someone else to take. My driveway comes to the side of my house where the garage doors are. There is a sidewalk that leads to the front door about 30 feet away. There were four people inside the house at the time, but for some reason the courier couldn’t bother to let anyone in the house know it was there. Due to a medical issue in the family, there is someone in the house (my wife and nurses) practically 24 hours p/day, 7 days p/week. We get near constant deliveries due to medical needs, and I have complained on multiple occasions, about this very issue, over the last two years. On a couple of those occasions things got a little better for a brief time period but then went right back to the way it was before (everything being left in the driveway next to the garage and not letting anyone know there was a delivery). More than once we have had items rained on and liquid items being frozen in the winter. Each time I have complained I was assured by UPS customer support that a note would be placed on our account and this wouldn’t happen again. Your notes haven’t done any good. I realize that some of our deliveries are heavy and have multiple boxes. However, I’m not even asking that your personnel carry them to the front door. All that I am saying is that they need to walk to the front door and LET US KNOW that they have left a package by the garage or are about to. Failure to provide such a simple courtesy is lazy at best.

Come to the front door and NOTIFY US that you have left a delivery outside the garage! Re-read that. I'm not asking you to bring it to the door.

UPS in Price, Utah - Paying top dollar for flea market type service

UPS ARE LIARS AND THIEVES! They, themselves, put it in writing. The service says "Next Day Air" Guaranteed Overnight Delivery. THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. This service is weather permitting. There is absolutely NOTHING guaranteed from UPS at all, except the fact that they will charge you for Next Day, not be able to deliver, and keep or STEAL, the money you have paid them for a the service that, they couldn't provide. I understand if weather causes a delay and the service is down graded, but at the same time, the cost needs to be down graded to match the service they were able to provide. If it takes 2 days to get there, that is NOT Next Day Guaranteed. That is 2nd Day Air which is what they should be charging for service. They call it Next Day Guaranteed Service, but in the description, it is anything but that. See it for yourself right here. http://www.ups.com/media/en/terms_service_us.pdf There are some 3rd graders in that corporate office trying to write these tariffs, and they being proofread by 1st graders. I will be happy to send these people an English dictionary, but I will send it via FedEx. If you encounter this error in their system, be sure to call customer service. Tell them you are only going to pay for what you got from them and do not hang uip until the credit is issued. If they steal $15.00 from every one of their customers they could pay off the national debt. DO NOT LET THEM DO THIS TO YOU!!!!!
