DO I HAVE TO STAY HOME FROM WORK TO GET MY PARCEL!!!

I will never never use UPS again!!!! I work full-time days and they arrive at my door while I am at work. They run on a delivery window which spans from morning to early evening. So do I miss a days pay to wait on UPS. Very inconvenient!!! This hass happen to me before! Customer service is no better with no care for the customer. They did not even go out of their way to help me. A two hr drive to pick up a package which is a waste of my time and gas! They have lost a me as a consumer.

My grown kids live in apartments.When ever they order anything they have it sent to my house since I am home all day.Do you have a parent or friend that is home most of the time?Do you have a elderly neighbor who is home get your packages for you?Their are all kinds of soultions I am sure you can use..just think outside the box.

UPS is a business and guess what, they work in business hours as well. If they wait until people start getting home from work to deliver packages that means they don't start deliveries until 4PM and people would be getting knocks on the door to sign for a package at 10-11PM. So you can either be home and sign for the package, have the package delivered to your work or some other address where someone can sign for it, or tell UPS they need to start having packages delivered at 10 o'clock at night.

Ups suck!!!!!!! They will have you waiting around all day for your package and sometimes don't even show up. Or they'll show up when your not home and also they'll just throw your package on the front step. FedEx is much better they actually call in advance before they show up to your residence

7 pkags in 3 weeks DELAYED for no reason

Too long a story to tell about these inept, rude people with no customer service or people skills. David P Abney, CEO & Myron A. Gray, President US Operations. These are the people I will be trying to get thru to asap. Unless they are too busy having their Limo's take them to the bank! Bet when the stock takes a dive they will pay attention. My guess is that they have no clue as to what is being said on their on FaceBook pages. Much less other forums. Just google "UPS Complaints" and see for yourself. There is POWER IN NUMBERS folks. Can you say "ENRON", "WORLDCOM" and even "TRUMP ENTERTAINMENT RESORT"? They are not beyond going down for lack of service. Just a matter of time, people.

I waited all day yesterday for them to deliver the package, only to leave my apartment at night and see two notes saying they had stopped by and I wasn't there for either of them. It's a big apartment and you have to ring the doorbell to get the door answered, you can't knock at the front and expect someone to come out of their unit and hear you. Now they will only make one more attempt, but if they won't even try to contact the customer by the simplest method of ringing the doorbell for the specific apartment then the chances of me hearing them are small--what am I supposed to do, sit by the window and look for them? Now I have to go out and pick it up myself, what's the point of having something delivered if I have to go get it in the end? Also, they are the only shipping company in Lansing with no weekend hours, meaning for those of us working all day, it will be impossible to actually find the time to go get what should have already been here. So frustrating! I'll stick with FedEx after this!

UPS'S INABILITY TO PERFORM PRIMARY SERVICE

If you look at my online chat with Fredy S. in customer service, please do not be surprised by my online recounting of experiences with your company, and UPS Express in particular. I have received EIGHT packages from throughout the country shipped on thursday and friday, delivered friday and saturday, by USPS and Fed-Ex. yet your company's inability to deliver a package 5 miles over a three day period, even though the weather was fine, and the constant lies of when it would be delivered....They did not deliver a perishable package, which I talked to them at length about, and made my 70 year old parents spend two days at home waiting for a package that they promised would be delivered, but was not. They missed Valentines day and her Birthday....THERE WAS NO "ADVERSE WEATHER" AS CLAIMED, ON THURSDAY A.M. IT WAS IN WATERTOWN, MA..THE TOWN NEXT TO CAMBRIDGE (DELIVERY ADDRESS)...5 MILES AWAY. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WAS CLEAR AND SUNNY, WITH NO SNOWFALL TO CLEAN UP. USPS and Fed-Ex delivered packages from California, N.M. and Florida, some sent Friday afternoon, and delivered by NOON ON SATURDAY!!! (I have proof!)

UPS said they delivered the "Final Attempt" when I have been sitting in my studio all day waiting. There was no Info Notice on the door and nobody knocked. When I called the person said that the time checked (2-5pm) was just an estimate and they already tried at 11:30! This isn't even close to what would be considered and "estimate". This is the 3rd time in less than 6 months this exact thing has happened to me. I took a whole day off work to wait for this package and UPS customer service today was pretty nice but really couldn't help the situation or offer any kind of real guidance. She pretty much said well you're screwed in a nicer way.

All they can do is is try to give a "best guess" as to what time their route will get them to the address.

Recurring Problem...

UPS came to our business on March 3rd for delivery when the store is closed. Placed at the door "will call". I called the sender. The sender said they did not request a will call. I paid for shipping. I am not a *** to waste gas and pick up my product. Called on March 4th the 1800 number for UPS and I was told it will be delivered the next day 3/5/15. Got a call from Chuckee of UPS San Marcos.He said he is doing a courtesy call for a will call. I told him I will not pick up the product no one told anyone that this shipment was a will call and I would like to talk to the supervisor. He called around 12:24 pm He said he will tell the supervisor but did not get a call back. I called and called to 1800 and the San Marcos to speak to the supervisor. Waited on the phone hours after hours but the supervisor did not speak to me.I ask John of 1800 if there is a note saying it is to be delivered today. He said nothing but there was a report at 12:01 that I called on March 4th. Chuckee never told me that, when I asked him on March 5th. According to John the call was completed @12:48 but there was no delivery date. I would like the supervisor to talk to me regarding this problem and the last year problem. I also want a refund on my shipping charges. I lost sales because my client is waiting for this shipment on the 3rd. This is a recurring problem.

I have a delivery that needs signature. However, the first attempt was unsuccessful because I was not home (I work all day). They left a notice of their attempt. Their next delivery would be next day at 10-12pm, also a time when I won't be available (who is available at that time when most people work??). When I tried to reschedule another time for another day on their UPS.com, it would COST ME EXTRA $5 in order to change to another time or another address!! When I tried to talk to customer service, they couldn't do anything and all they could offer is: go to MyUPS.com. So, they have my package and they have NO incentive whatsoever to offer any customer service at all and they just want more money on my behalf!!

YOU are the one who elected to have it sent to an address where no one would be available!

It is your responsibility to have it sent an address where a person would be available, such as your work or a neighbor who is always home.

Of course there is an extra charge to change the address from the original address.

Of course if you wanted it sent to this other address, should have had it sent to that address in the first place.

The driver has a route to follow, and to change the route would mean others do not get their packages.

Waited all on UPS, all day no show.

I called ups at 10am spoke with a lady, she asked for the tracking number. The lady called me by name, and said they will be there between 9.00am and 7:00pm. I called the 800 number was given the run round. I was told by James 19473 that the driver said it was no such address so I read the address off to him he had the same address. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he put me on hold for15 min the phone went dead. I kept calling could not get an answer. I'm very disappointed with the service and, ups. "Severe Weather Conditions" = Smokescreen

Snowed in RI on Monday...not terrible but fairly messy. Package scheduled for Tuesday delivery re-scheduled (understandably) for Wednesday. Didn't arrive Wednesday. Didn't arrive Thursday. Didn't arrive Friday. Latest message says Monday delivery "may" be further delayed, all due to "severe weather conditions beyond their control". Mind you, there has been no severe weather since Feb 2. Clearly, UPS in Rhode Island is suffering from a complete breakdown of their already-inefficient delivery system and are apparently running about a week behind, while the company and its customer service people hide behind the "severe weather" excuse. One of the most disingenuous companies still in business.

Also Getting they next day and next day.my parcel has been in there warehouse since Jan30 .

but will be delivered for sure ''again """ on the Feb 9.and they can't even use a storm story although we are getting 5cm of snow so Monday del not looking good. ....

Package delivered to management office, no notice left

This is the second time UPS in Durham, NC failed to deliver my packages to me, left them at the apartment management office, and did not leave a note at my door. I have been waiting for these supplies all month, they were delivered a week ago and the only way I know this is because I contacted the sender.

These are diabetic and incontinent supplies for an elderly Alzheimer patient. The packages are really big boxes and I now have to find a way to get them. I was at home waiting on the day they say they left them, but they do not even bother to come to the door. I requested previously that they not be left there, but at the door or returned to UPS and I would pick them up if I'm not at home.

The delivery people for this UPS don't seem to care or have any idea of how they do their job.

If they'd just come to the door to leave a note, they would have known someone was at home. Tired of their laziness!!

Bad delivery

Every time I receive a package the UPS guy slams on my door. It is so loud it could wake the dead. It sounds like a police raid. Some even yell. What they are saying I have NO idea. Then when I go to retrieve the package or packages they are up against the door and I can't get the door open to get the package. It is so frustrating. Who trained these guys? OMG Stop banging on the door, stop yelling and leave the package away from the door. This has happened to many times I got tired of it and decided to complain. I know it won't do any good but I have at least said my piece. Thank you
