UPS in San Luis Obispo, California - Driver claimed we had moved and package not delivered.

UPS - Driver claimed we had moved and package not delivered.
The Driver put in the system that we had moved and package sat in limbo for 3 days. This was a critical piece of collateral needed for a trade show and caused a lot of stress. Talked with 4 different people over a 2 day period and got a different story every time. Someone decided to send the package to LA even though the address was clearly correct and in San Luis Obispo!! Their phone support was the worst! Now I know why I will use FedEx whenever it is my option to do so. Pay attention UPS - this is what ruins your company's reputation.

UPS in Austin, Texas - IPhone6 delivery

1.0
Details
UPS tracking system said my iPhone6 would be delivered on Friday, Sept 19. Late that night they changed that to Monday, Sept 22. Late that night they said they could not provide a delivery time. In between they showed it in Corpus Christi about 130 miles from my home. At 3:30 the next morning they said that the receiver (me) had said he hadn't ordered an iPhone and refused delivery so they were returning it to Apple. Apple assured me they would send the phone back out as soon as they received it. Sept 25 the tracking system shows it out for delivery in HOUSTON - 300 miles from my home. A UPS rep said that Apple had told them to send it to Houston. Apple said no way but they suspect it is actually out for delivery to ME even though I don't live in or near Houston. The phone has apparently been sitting in the San Antonio office of UPS since Monday and wasn't shipped to Apple until today. Hopefully UPS used FEDEX to ship it back to Apple. I wish a plague of locusts on UPS to eat all of their shipping labels.

UPS China Custom Clearing not doing their job

3.0
Details
I have purchased some lighting equipments (6 lights for my whole apartment renovation) from Belgium to China for self use, the seller shipped via UPS. When the goods arrived the port, I told UPS that I am willing to pay any kind of import duty, but the UPS China lady just told me because the volume is big, they cannot do the custom clearing (my feeling is they feel it is too troublesome to do the clearing) and said I need to appoint my own clearing agent. Ok, then I appointed my own agent. When the process is still ongoing (2 weeks from the phone call with UPS), my agent told me UPS is preparing to ship back my purchase to Belgium. I am fine if UPS has tried to clear the good and rejected by the Custom and the goods need to ship back. But it is terrible that UPS never ask for my details (I am eligible for tax free import), never try to contact me, never try to clear the the goods, never offer any help or solution, and going to return the goods without even notifying me.

UPS in Siler City, North Carolina - Customer Service lied to me, changed delivery date...

My mother ordered books from Amazon. The delivery date according to Amazon was today, 24 Sept 2014. At almost exactly 8pm local time, the delivery status on UPS' website changed. They claimed that someone from our house had called and requested that they postpone delivery. Of course, neither I nor my mother had called them for that, or in fact called them at all. That quickly changed. I called, provided the tracking, and was told that the delivery date was tomorrow so everything would be just fine. Lo and behold, when I get Mom to pull up the email from Amazon, it specifies a delivery date of today. On their website, it's changed suddenly to tomorrow -- because UPS changed it on their end! Call UPS back, and they basically refuse to do anything about it, saying that the local center will call me at some point (I doubt it) and I can argue with them. The one bit of useful info they did give me, which I significantly doubt, is that the first person I talked to supposedly didn't change the delivery date. Mom does a live-chat with UPS, and got the same runaround. When --if-- UPS calls me, they're going to get an angry fella on the line. Guaranteed. This is bad business, plain and simple. A significant pity that (as far as I know) Amazon won't let you choose the shipping company that sends you your stuff...

UPS - JUST GIVE ME MY PACKAGE

1.0
Details
I'm a part time college student and I ordered my books online, UPS has said they came by but my family members were home and UPS did NOT try to knock on the door leave my package, or make any sort of effort to let my family know they were here. My E-Book for my textbooks have expired because the company assumed that UPS had delivered my books to me. Class has already begun and I am still textbook-less. Thank you UPS for screwing me over. LEAVE MY PACKAGE WHERE I REQUESTED AND GIVE ME MY *** BOOKS OKAY UPS!?!?!?!?

UPS almost Cost me My Dream Wedding and Identity Theft (But don't worry you got your package)

I paid $100.33 to have mine and my fiances passport, single status, and original birth certificate sent to Toronto to get legalized and translated into Spanish because we are getting married in the Dominican Republic Mid November 2014. I paid for shipping there and back as well to have someone sign upon delivery at both ends (seeing how its sensitive information and we did not want it getting into the wrong hands) So when the driver arrived at my apartment building I answered the buzzer seeing how it was linked to my cell phone but I was not home, I was at work. We had a conversation that I would let him into the building so he could leave a ticket on my mailbox so I could go and pick up my important papers at a UPS location and he agreed. I came home to find no ticket and got in contact with UPS the following Monday only to be told he did in fact deliver my package. When I had explained my story they said the notes indicate he left it at the door. But my package was no where to be found. Now I start to panic thinking some one in the building took my package and now has all the information they need to steal mine and my fiances identity. Then I realize if I don't have this documents I don't have enough time to even replace them and get new paperwork made up. So I would not be able to have my wedding. My worst nightmare came true, my wedding would fall through and I could easily become a victim of Identity theft, all because UPS couldn't follow simple instructions. Eventually they got in contact with the driver and he explained he slide the package under my door. My fiance found the package under our front door mat and nothing was compromised thankfully. when I spoke to UPS again about how it was found and that the driver did not follow instructions twice and asked if I could get a refund I was told "You do not qualify for a refund because you did in fact receive your package and there was nothing they could do us, not even a penny" What I ended up with was a headache, a heart attack, wasted time, and on top of it I added up the charges on my receipt and my total only came to $80.20 and I managed to be charged $100.33 I work in the service industry and I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a company that clearly made a mistake and almost cost me my wedding as well as my identity.

UPS (lack of ) customer service

Ordered 3 double wine kits from Costco Canada. Followed the tracking to a distribution warehouse, saw the UPS van go past our house the next day (50 km away from the warehouse) with the packages and then nothing. Called UPS who advised that the delivery address was missing on the label and that they would be going back to the warehouse and that I would have to pay the shipping charges from the warehouse if I wanted the items. I asked them why would they drive around our neighbourhood with the items if they had no address, apparently its their method to say that they tried to deliver the items without success, legitimizing the additional shipping charges. They refused to answer when I asked why they would not phone to confirm the delivery location. Its a good thing that Costco has a good return policy as these wine kits are going back to Costco as undeliverable since I refuse to pay twice for shipping.

I recently received seven packages of a large order from Overstock.com. The minute I laid eyes on the boxes I knew I wouldn't open them but would send them straight back.

They were in such awful condition there was no way I was once again going to spend more money and shipping charges on returns because UPS handles the items they ship so poorly. I will no longer do business with any merchant online or off who uses UPS. I have gotten many, many items via FedEx and USPS with not a single problem. Not only do I have an issue with UPS manhandling packages so roughly but they don't even knock or ring the bell to let me know there is a package sitting on my front porch.

We live in a high end neighborhood that is always hit with thefts of items left out in plain view. Today I received two packages delivered by UPS. No knock,no door bell just my dog barking to indicate they were there. One of the packages had been cut open on one end and I could smell the cleaning liquid in the box indicating their had been a leak, seepage but thank God no leaks.

The other box was a new steam clean carpet machine and I could hear rattling inside which probably means something is broken. It also has *** in one end. I will be writing to the powers that be at UPS about this lack of care for our packages and the rude behavior of the drivers I have run across. If everyone took the time to do this they might actually understand we are fed up.

The bottom line should be and used to be customer satisfaction. I am I assure you anything but satisfied.

UPS - Never again, ignorant with no apology

I booked with UPS through Parcel2go. They didn't turn up at the Parcel Shop and I only found out this when I went to drop some more parcels and there it was on the floor. After complaining bitterly to their online chat personnel I was told that they would arrange someone to collect it again. But this was only after several chats. They told me to email the 'chat' to my customer. This would mean having to get his email address but those of you who know eBay will know they vet out email addresses. I had to refund my customer and I'm awaiting a negative on eBay. I have asked several times for UPS to contact me. I'm still waiting. I am not holding my breath. Utter Rubbish.

UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Driver lying about delivery attempt

1.0
Details
First attempt to deliver: I missed it and driver left notice on door. Ok. Second attempt: I waited all day by front door. My children played outside on driveway. They run in to tell me that the truck just drove by the house and stopped at neighbour's house. I thought he will make that stop first and then my delivery. Nope. He drives off. I have a broken ankle so I couldn't sprint after the truck to get my package. Then I check my online tracking info: it says second attempt was made and no one answered. This is a complete lie as my children were right there and I stood in my open front door staring at his truck a few houses down. Calling customer service, i received the most polite answers they could give in the situation but because the escalation to supervisor process took so long, the driver was on his way back to the depot and I'd have to wait till the next day. This is why the drivers enter fake delivery attempts: because UPS has not forced them to go back at the end of their shift if they make a mistake. They get away with it. When asked where my second notice is, they couldn't answer. I got the nicest apologies when I said I have CCTV at my house and I could submit the video recording proving that he never actually came to the door. I want a refund on my $30 fee. This is unacceptable.
