UPS - Lost, Incorrect address and a whole lot of B.S.

Was suppose to get my package yesterday. While tracking I found out that the address it was being shipped to does not exist. Hmm does that me I don't exist either? Now after hours of talking to several different people I find out my package was transferred to a third party courier and will be delivered next week sometime even though the package is 2.5 hrs away from my current location. Too bad I'm going out of province tomorrow. Thanks for the guaranteed shipping. A company is only as good as its word and these guys couldn't care less.

UPS in Des Moines, Iowa - Learn how to estimate time.

Ever thought that people have school/work between 10am and 3pm? No? How could someone sign between those times!? When you say estimated next delivery Friday AFTER 5pm, be there at that time, not four hours earlier. An estimate should be at least a little accurate, not that off. And pick up between 7-7:30pm the same day- inconvenient, especially when your only location is on the other side of town. If you are so far off from your estimated time, your drivers should try again at the time they said. I shouldn't have to pay money to get a specific time just because the drivers can't follow their estimates. I understand if it was scheduled for after five and they come at 4, one hour isn't too bad. But so far off is ridiculous.

Yes, UPS realizes people work during those hours. So the only other option is to start package delivery around 4 o'clock when people start getting home.

Which means people getting packages around 10 o'clock for some people or later. Frankly I don't want UPS knocking on my door at 10PM.

A delivery time estimate is just that, an estimate. There is no way for people who make that estimate to know what the driver's route looks like on delivery date, what traffic is going to look like that day, so yeah it can be off by 4 hours because it's just supposed to be an estimate not a guarantee.

If UPS starts to deliver to everyone based on their individual schedules, they will be able to deliver 1/2 to 1/3 of the packages they normally do which means costs skyrocketing.

Also unless you pay for early delivery, you aren't paying for a specific time. You are paying for DELIVERY and given an estimated time as a COURTESY. And if other people are willing to pay for that early morning delivery, you get bumped back however many hours it takes.

Don't like it? Pony up the cash.

UPS in Santa Clara, California - Have to wait the whole day for a package

UPS didn't give me the time window and have to wait whole day sitting at home and waiting. When I called them to give me the time window, they said end of the day(11:59) and end up not delivered. Just wasted the whole day without the package in my hands. UPS deliver and the online tracking just sucks. I tried to change the delivery and didn't allow me to do saying I have to pay $5 or take a membership for $40/year. Very very bad service. UPS in Miami, Florida - The package which should be received on sep 23th is lost

I am waiting for a package which was sent to me on September, monday 22th and it is lost. It had to arrive on tuesday 23th but nothing happened. We (myself and the sender) have called UPS several times and nobody knows anything. The package contains an iPhone 5 with more than 600 dolars cost, and it belongs to Novartis company. I am in Miami and I must go back to my country Peru on saturday morning therefore is urgently I can receive my telephone Tracking number is: 1Z88Y38E0350756215 I can not believe that this type of company can have this type of error and if it is lost you must pay for this telephone. In addition I can not have communication with my company and I am having serious troubles because your lack of efficiency. I am losing several business calls and I am losing money.

UPS in Winnipeg, Manitoba - Find your own package

My package couldn't be delivered to my apartment, as I work during drop off hours for UPS drop offs. No big deal. It was taken to an Access Point twice but due to weight, was rejected. I understand. What I can not understand is why it spent the next week on a truck and had a third attempt to be delivered to an Access Point that would reject it when I had changed the delivery address the day after it arrived in the city. Six days later... Not only did the girl on the phone (the first time) not write down any of my notes for the address, but neither did the rest. It took 5 phone calls to get any information on where my package was and that the NEW ADDRESS was a business. When it finally did arrive, not only was I not given the package like I had asked, but a co-worker had to inform me HE signed for it. Not only have I never spoken to this co-worker before but someone in that same department informed me that the truck driver didn't feel like "wasting his time" to find me in order to get my the package. I can see the previously mentioned department from my desk. Not only am I never using UPS ever again, but I would strongly recommend no one else does either. At first they basically told me its on a truck, go find it yourself. I have never been so angry in my life, and I deal with people paying thousands of dollars to fix vehicles. I get yelled at all day by people and deal with other peoples stupidity all day. UPS needs to either fire all their employees and get new ones who know what hard work is or train them to do their jobs instead of telling us customers to find the package themselves (which I was very tempted to find the truck and take it off myself). $300 package given to someone else. GOOD JOB UPS

Resolved: UPS didn't take responsibility for the stolen items in my package

I got a suitcase picked up from Spain to Greece were at least three missing items from the suitcase. 1 Blue Abercrombie man winter jacket, 1 brown Bennetton women coat, 1 black Cotton brand women coat. The rest of the items I got in the suitcase they just opened my suitcase and stole the items mentioned above. I filed a complaint. They made an investigation and after two months of back and forth messages the finally responded that my package didn't meet the requirements of packaging -something they never mentioned when picking it up and delivering. So they said they are not responsible for the lost. I mean it was my fault they stole the stuff. I can prove all this with the messages between UPS and I.

UPS in San Luis Obispo, California - Driver claimed we had moved and package not delivered.

UPS - Driver claimed we had moved and package not delivered.
The Driver put in the system that we had moved and package sat in limbo for 3 days. This was a critical piece of collateral needed for a trade show and caused a lot of stress. Talked with 4 different people over a 2 day period and got a different story every time. Someone decided to send the package to LA even though the address was clearly correct and in San Luis Obispo!! Their phone support was the worst! Now I know why I will use FedEx whenever it is my option to do so. Pay attention UPS - this is what ruins your company's reputation.

UPS in Austin, Texas - IPhone6 delivery

UPS tracking system said my iPhone6 would be delivered on Friday, Sept 19. Late that night they changed that to Monday, Sept 22. Late that night they said they could not provide a delivery time. In between they showed it in Corpus Christi about 130 miles from my home. At 3:30 the next morning they said that the receiver (me) had said he hadn't ordered an iPhone and refused delivery so they were returning it to Apple. Apple assured me they would send the phone back out as soon as they received it. Sept 25 the tracking system shows it out for delivery in HOUSTON - 300 miles from my home. A UPS rep said that Apple had told them to send it to Houston. Apple said no way but they suspect it is actually out for delivery to ME even though I don't live in or near Houston. The phone has apparently been sitting in the San Antonio office of UPS since Monday and wasn't shipped to Apple until today. Hopefully UPS used FEDEX to ship it back to Apple. I wish a plague of locusts on UPS to eat all of their shipping labels.
