UPS - So Annoyed!

"I am so annoyed with UPS - they come once to deliver a package but they mark "2nd attempt", since they did not leave a notice the first time - they are a very DISHONEST company. Will inform the supplier not to use UPS for shipping - or will not order from this online site again. This has happened about 4 times now. Then they charge a brokerage fee - which when contacting the supplier, they didn't know this would be charged over and above all the fees they already charge. Very disappointed - will avoid any future mailings through this company.

At best honesty about the delivery - don't say it was your second attempt when it wasn't. Have experienced this 4 times now. Won't make any future purchases from any site that uses UPS for delivery - will also notify the supplier.

I am very disappointed in UPS. They screwed up not one buy two of my shipments.

I questioned if I would ever go to UPS after they lost 1 of 3 packages sent to me. Unfortunately the $1000 value of the package wasn't insured so I was out money. Fast forward 2 months, and I send a package next day ($ 133 cost). I insured it for $1000 and give instructions it has to get there or its worthless. I insured it to make sure it would get there. I give clear instructions the recipient had a hearing impairment a phone call was needed. The UPS store tried to assist me and told me they were told the driver is too busy, he doesn't have to call. Do you want to have a happy client, or do you want to play pompous driver and leave without delivering the package. UPS didn't make the delivery in time so I has a worthless delivery that never made it there. UPS wouldn't pay the insurance b/c the package wasn't lost or damaged. I guess the fact that they caused it to be worthless by not delivering it wasn't insurance worthy. No accountability or integrity. I will never use them again. I will go to Federal Express, and I can insure you I will work diligently to insure Federal Express gets the business that would have gone to UPS had they cared about my issue that they called. I will for sure be well in excess of $1000 that the lose will cause them. Vincent Furlani 239-293-8852

Since I didn't insure the first package that was lost, it is my issue. I insured the package this past Friday because of the experience I had two months earlier. I expect to get my $1000 that I insured plus the $133 delivery charge for the delivery.

UPS Package "DROP" off.

UPS delivered a new lawn mower I had ordered online. Since there were no cars in the driveway and the UPS driver was apparently in a hurry, he didn't bother to check to see if I was home, nor did he bother to notice the eight security cameras recording his every move. He hoisted the box over my six foot gate & let it go! He couldn't see what was on the other side of the gate but obviously didn't care. He missed a classic show car by inches but broke the mower's fall with a portable air compressor that was behind the gate. The mower was packed extremely well so it survived, my gate and compressor were both damaged. No response to my complaint. Thanks UPS! Apparently I was extremely lucky as it could have been much worse. UPS doesn't care because they don't need to.

Dave; Please forgive me for being unaware that you required proof of my claims. However to answer your question the footage is still on my DVR hard drive.

To avoid further distress I will archive them to a DVD and upload them to Youtube. You can download the videos from there then send them to the forensic lab of your choice to verify authenticity.

Oh wait, I could just get a UPS truck somewhere, hire an actor that looks identical to the UPS employee, dress him up in a UPS uniform and have him act out the scenario exactly as I described...

record it from several angles and claim that was the actual event. Since that would be so simple and easy my claims are invalid and I should be ashamed of myself for writing such a derogatory statement about a perfect company that is merely there to serve the public.

You made an accusation, and was asked to provide the proof you claim to have.

Others on here have had no problems posting proof they have, why do you have a problem with it?

Seriously? Other than satisfying you, what purpose would it serve to search the HDD for the precise moment of the event, copy multiple viewing angles then upload them for only you merely to claim they were somehow edited?

I don't have a problem with it other than it's a complete waste of my time and effort with absolutely nothing to gain. Try explaining what possible benefit could come of it.

UPS isn't even the slightest bit interested.

UPS - Never paid $3000 claim

Shipped a 50 year old pair of heirloom quality speakers. UPS damaged one of the pair. I filed for a freight claim as I had insured them for the full value. That was omn 08/09/2014. They inspected found no issues with packing and issued claim on 08/15. Called over and over and got the same thing check would be issued on ten days. At some point a they advised me the claim was reduced to 1500 as only one speaker was damaged??? What good is one stereo speaker that is so rare you cannot but another one. Now these two speakers were made right next to each other back in 1957. So claim wa reduced to 1500, then they told me that as I dropped packages off at a UPS store the claim was reduced to a max of 1000. Nowhere in the shipping and labelling or dropoff process does it say anything about this value ceiling on items. And even though I had to drop a form off for the driver to sign acknowleging this value noone at the UPS store advised me of this limit. Course I paid a premium that was associated with that 3000 dollar value. So my $1000 check was paid and shipped/mailed 08/29. Never rec'd and was told I had to wait ten business days. On the 14th they claim to have issued another check. Never rec'd as of 10/01. Now I can understand one l;ost check but two?? and the second one they couldn't even have overnighted it? So now here we are waiting til 10/06 to request yet another payment. Now for those of you that don't know UPS farms this insurance work out to another company. Which of course profits by every dollar they do not pay. And not a person (and I sent a letter to the CEO) has offered a solution

i just want to say please do use UPS service they are crapped....i have called and have a word with manager , the manager goes he dont know where i s my parcel and no guaranteed for my parcel when its going to delivered....first of all they put me on hold for 49 minutes because there is a many complaints he needs to sort out ...so now hope you understand what to do with ups....my order with apple is worth 1000 pound and they goes not gurantted wow..*** service provided by ups...please be awre not to use ups in future...

UPS Unreliable Postal Service

Had a package sent overnight, they tried to deliver the package once and said he was going to return between 1-4 never showed up. Now there is an investigation that takes 6+ days. I feel for a package that is shipped overnight there should be a SLA in place for a shorter time. This is unacceptable. I will never use this service again. The package was containing medication via the over night method. I feel bad for people that have to use this service and are expecting their medication on time. This can potentially harm or kill someone. Great work UPS...NOT!!!!

I took Friday and Monday off to receive a pkg and guess what now they are changing my delivery to Tuesday..it has been in my city since last Thursday they are the worst delivery service ever... I would go to their pickup depot..but they don't have one...I'd like to talk to someone..but they don't do that...I'd like to change the address but they are not very good at that...can they suck anymore at their job..I doubt it they are at their MAX....My advice..DONT USE THEM Change companies now use anybody else...

Thats called surepost. It's a service that makes no sense that in effect delivers to the post office instead of your house.

Exactly same thing happened to me. My package arrived at my City and had been sitting for two days.

I got status update saying parcel had been transferred on the third day to local post office in the late afternoon of the day before the delivary day. Obviously I received the item a day later than estimated delivary date. If there were weather related delays, I could understand. But intentionally not delivarig item when arrived and even causing delays in delivary makes me mad.

In contrary, USPS has been so much better and faster. I will avoid UPS as much as I can from onwards.

This means that your shipper created a label and is getting the package to UPS. UPS does not have the package because your shipper has not given it to them.

Once UPS has the package you will see a delivery date. So, call your shipper and ask them when they plan on giving UPS the package.

UPS Tracking computer not working today

I have been tracking a ground package for days on the UPS web site. Today, halfway to the destination, the tracking has changed to "Order processed, ready for UPS". This means that UPS has not pickup up the package yet! Since the package was picked by UPS three days ago, I was quite concerned that the package was lost. When I called UPS, I was told that the web site was undergoing maintenance, and the tracking would be correctly updated in 1 hour. An hour later, and still no tracking information. Posting no information would certainly be better than posting incorrect information.
