UPS Unreliable Postal Service

Had a package sent overnight, they tried to deliver the package once and said he was going to return between 1-4 never showed up. Now there is an investigation that takes 6+ days. I feel for a package that is shipped overnight there should be a SLA in place for a shorter time. This is unacceptable. I will never use this service again. The package was containing medication via the over night method. I feel bad for people that have to use this service and are expecting their medication on time. This can potentially harm or kill someone. Great work UPS...NOT!!!!

UPS in Thunder Bay, Ontario - Worst delivery on the planet?

I took Friday and Monday off to receive a pkg and guess what now they are changing my delivery to Tuesday..it has been in my city since last Thursday they are the worst delivery service ever... I would go to their pickup depot..but they don't have one...I'd like to talk to someone..but they don't do that...I'd like to change the address but they are not very good at that...can they suck anymore at their job..I doubt it they are at their MAX....My advice..DONT USE THEM Change companies now use anybody else...

Thats called surepost. It's a service that makes no sense that in effect delivers to the post office instead of your house.

Exactly same thing happened to me. My package arrived at my City and had been sitting for two days.

I got status update saying parcel had been transferred on the third day to local post office in the late afternoon of the day before the delivary day. Obviously I received the item a day later than estimated delivary date. If there were weather related delays, I could understand. But intentionally not delivarig item when arrived and even causing delays in delivary makes me mad.

In contrary, USPS has been so much better and faster. I will avoid UPS as much as I can from onwards.

This means that your shipper created a label and is getting the package to UPS. UPS does not have the package because your shipper has not given it to them.

Once UPS has the package you will see a delivery date. So, call your shipper and ask them when they plan on giving UPS the package.

UPS Tracking computer not working today

I have been tracking a ground package for days on the UPS web site. Today, halfway to the destination, the tracking has changed to "Order processed, ready for UPS". This means that UPS has not pickup up the package yet! Since the package was picked by UPS three days ago, I was quite concerned that the package was lost. When I called UPS, I was told that the web site was undergoing maintenance, and the tracking would be correctly updated in 1 hour. An hour later, and still no tracking information. Posting no information would certainly be better than posting incorrect information.

UPS in Santa Clara, California - Four packages were not delivered

Including one for which I paid $3.50 on "UPS My (their) Choice" (hahahaha) for "reliable" delivery. Then at 10:30 pm their system said "Receiver (it's ME) requested delivery on a more convenient day". I was on a *** plane the whole day so I never did that!!! I tried to talk to a supervisor but I gave up after waiting for 1 hour. At least for me UPS is not more reliable than USPS just more expensive and VERY difficult to deal with. In the future, I'll avoid working with UPS as much as I can. This company is the worst company in the world.

You say you went to my choice and changed the delivery on your shipment.

Then, you say you were on a plane and never did it.

Therefore, it is diffcult to know which version of your story is true....

Ups - Delivery Service Review from Seattle, Washington

Ups is the worst! They don't always knock or ring your door bell. I was home all day Friday and no one came to ring the doorbell. They just left a note. When I called to complain an agent told me they would deliver it Saturday. I called Saturday and there was no record of my complaint supposedly taken Friday and was told they don't deliver ground packages on Saturday. They are full of *** and definitely not a reputable business!

Ordered from Amazon with all correct information. UPS couldn't deliever because they said "incorrect" address.

The UPS delivery-person is either ***, or lazy or both. My address was "correct" as seen in "tracking" package online screen. When I called the customer service Rep, was kind enough to inform that they indeed had my correct address and didn't have my apt. number. Even if this were true there is a directory in the lobby of my building. Now it can't be delivered until Monday. I paid extra for this package to arrive early, as it was a gift for a family member. I had to cancel it and rush out to buy a new one from a store. This cost my extra money and heart ache. Dealing with UPS is ALWAYS STRESSFUL. I have gotten to the point that when I have to order anything I ask if they use any other carrier besides UPS.

In a same boat. I ordered from Costco, Package should have been delivered Friday, on their site it says "The street number is incorrect.

This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address. / We've contacted the receiver." They have not contacted me regarding this. When i called Monday and ask them about my package, they told me that driver says that there is no such address.

I have been operating from this same address for last 25 years. UPS is the worst company to deal with

Ummmm....

It is the fault of UPS that the sender did not put an Apt # on the label?

The drivers job is to deliver to the address on the label, not play detective to try and locate a person, there is not time for that!

So, your anger is misdirected, your anger should be with the original sender for failing to give a complete address for the driver to deliver to.

UPS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Most stressful birthday ever

my boyfriend paid 15 bucks to get my [only] birthday present to me within 2 days. he sent it on a tuesday and on thursday it does NOT arrive. that's fine because there's still friday, although at 2am friday morning it said 'out for delivery'. not sure how that's possible. friday i had class and i get home to find my package was not left on my porch bc it required a signature and theyre going to try for delivery monday. *** no. even usps delivers on saturday and my boyfriend didn't spend 15 dollars for my package to get to me on monday. the contents also turned out to be time sensitive. i request to pick it up at a ups location - instead of the customer center a 15 min bike ride away from me, my package is apparently eternally stuck at a location 10 miles away. i do not have a car and it would take 1.5 hours to get there via public transportation. wtf #3. someone was supposed to call me within the hour to confirm that it's possible to pull the package from that ups location in order to change the delivery (trick with customer service to to call, say 'talk to an agent' 3 times, and repeat this process until you finally talk to someone who is half competent). i have not received a call and it's been 5 hours. anyways i have to pay 5 bucks to get the package sent to my university dpt's office (where i'll at least be during the day) and also i'm not getting this package until Tuesday. this isn't even confirmed tho. i may end up having to bike 10 miles to the middle of nowhere. i hate them. usps will either leave the package or take it to the nearest post office where you can pick it up until they try to deliver it the next day. never using ups again.
