Incompetent and cowardly

I get the notification that my package has been delivered to the UPS HUB about an hour from my house. It also says that it is scheduled to be delivered today ( Thursday February 26th, 2015 ) by the end of the day. However, this morning I went to check on the tracking number and notice it hasn't been scanned to be delivered today. I knew right away, that it was more than likely not on the truck to be delivered today even though it was scheduled to be delivered today. I check again at noon and THEN I get a message that my package is delayed due to adverse weather conditions. Well, that would be true If we were having adverse weather conditions. That ended two days ago. Now, I would not be concerned or upset about it accept that this is a temperature sensitive item that is made of wood and being in freezing temperatures or lower for too long can warp it, making it virtually un usable. I must have called 3 times trying to get ahold of the local HUB and every time it's somebody that I can barely understand. If it's not poor broken english, it's a phone with a horrible connection. When I explain to them that I need to get this package today and that I would go to the HUB to get it if I have to, the person that I talked to said that she advised against that. My question is " Why ? ". People pick up orders from that HUB all the time. My next logical thought is that it has more than likely either been damaged OR it's been lost or stolen and they are just giving me every excuse in the book. When I read only ONE review similar to mine, it bothered me that there were not MORE complaints coming from the Dallas, Tx area. What's worse is TOMORROW we get snow and SATURDAY we get ice. This will more than likely delay it even more. BY the time I get this, it will more than likely be damaged by sitting in the truck trailer and rough handling of the package. Trust me. They fling boxes around, both big and small. I have seen it EVERY HUB I have been to. It's one thing to tell me that it can't be delivered today because they have to catch up, but when they add that they advise against me traveling to the HUB to pick it up instead of letting it sit there over the weekend to be damaged even further, it puts up a red flag. I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not, FULL MSRP will be paid to me to replace this item. I'm not having another product damaged and not being compensated for their incompetence.

UPS worst service. No customer values and respect. I would say if you want to use UPS you should have lot of time and energy for followup calls. They say all lies on telephone. They update online status with all lies and misleading reasons. Driver find excuses just not to deliver the package. They usually don't bother to knock door or ring bell and put a slip to inform that we just came and pick from our depot if you really need your stuff. UPS can not resolve any problem even if the mistake is at their end. Never use UPS

Why is it in certain areas your drivers don't ring the doorbell they just leave a note or leave your package sitting outside? I was ecpecting a package that is needed for tomorrow, my sister has been waiting for them to come, she goes outside and see a slip. This is unacceptable. If your guys are not gpnna deliver the packages then you need to let the publuc know. Something needs to change or get drivers that are willing to do thier jobs right.

UPS and their cheating

I sold a chandelier in November of 2014 through E bay. The package was signed for on the 12/2/14, I got an email from the person whom had received the package on the 4th February 2015 to say that 3 of the arms on the chandelier were broken, E bay has a policy that if you have a problem, you have 30 days to make a complaint, The customer surpassed this by 34 days, I suggested she get in touch with UPS and make a claim, They will come to your home and make an inspection, The customer in February took the box to UPS for inspection, The got in touch with me and told me that it was not packed to their specs, They shipped the package back to me, Now the customer has had this package more than two months, It was paid for in November, I got the parcel back with the chandelier in it and lots more damage to it, They told me it was my problem because it was not packed correctly, And written on the box was that the reason for return , Receiver did not want, refused delivery. Now I have all the paper work and original papers showing that she signed for this in December 2nd 2014. How can UPS tell me the Receiver refused delivery ? I feel like they have made a mistake, They should have carried out the inspection at the receivers address and not the UPS shop. They should have repacked the Chandelier as per their specs, I have been in touch with the Insurance company and UPS, but they are not interested. Who.s package is this now. Who is responsible for this package ? UPS. The receiver, or me ?

this is regarding UPS Dartmouth location in Mass. workers will lie and say they attempted to deliver but don't bother to leave a slip to prove it. Neighbors have seen them drive by without stopping. The whole three strikes delivery is awful. basically if they slack the first two times, you have to really try hard to catch them in the area on the third day. i don't mind if they couldn't deliver due to time constraints or the weather, just be honest about it and don't create a situation where my package gets sent back to the vendor. oh, and the people who work at the office as rude and condescending. they refuse to hear you out

The fact that there is NO "ground" Saturday delivery because the drivers "need a day off" is NOT acceptable. Hire part time drivers to deliver on Saturday to "accomodate the people that ALSO work Monday through Friday" or at least allow US to PICK UP at the local UPS center. No customer convince on the way ypu do business and on top of that can't even give atleast a 4 hour window of delivery time. Unbelievable. Yall suck!!!!!!-

I stayed in all day having reviewed their website which said item out for delivery.. It didnt arrive so later checked website again which said first attempt at delivery had been made and receiver not available. ! What a cheek, I wasted a day waiting for them, then they blatantly lie..!! No one came any where near me.. !!!

UPS should care about CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS!

I am sick and tired, as are my neighbors, of complaining about Lazy UPS drivers/delivery people and getting no response OR improvements on their service. The residence of the building I live in have many issues from UNATTEMPTED DELIVERIES while claiming NO ONE WAS HOME to flat out leaving packages in the lobby without alerting the receiver. I have taken days off of work to wait for packages that didn't come only to read on the online tracking that "They attempted delivery. They are RUDE and won't go up to the 3rd floor which they are required to do. I live on the 5th and ALWAYS meet them when they ring. I get that this is not an easy job buy it is a well paid one YOU CHOSE TO DO! Its time UPS Wake Up and care more about the few customers they have left!!! I'm sick and tired of having to complain to you to no avail. If you don't care about your quickly shrinking customer base, close the house down. You don't exist without your customers period!!

UPS - You should change your name to DOWNS

Ok, I NEVER complain about services online, but UPS has really pushed me over the edge.I ordered a phone online, and UPS gave me a near two week delivery time (for a 7 day delivery).

That would have been ok, if they were able to meet that date, but no! There was "sorry, we were unable to load your package onto the plane" (seriously? It was sitting there for 4 days waiting for the plane, how in the world was it missed?), and "sorry, due to severe weather conditions, we are unable to deliver your package" (I live in the area, there is no severe weather unless you now call drizzle severe weather!!).

Then, when it finally makes it into my city, I can't be home to get the package, so I call UPS to keep it at a store so I can pick it up the next day.

The rep confirmed it will be at the store TWICE, gave me the address and told me everything was set. When I check the website a few hours later though (out of paranoia from everything that has happened to my package so far), of course it will not be held at that store because "Delivery to UPS Access Point™ unsuccessful; a second attempt at the receiver's address will be made"?!?? So if I had gone into the store like UPS told me to, I would never have gotten my package, and yet you did not even bother to tell me?

As a side note, not trying to make any personal attacks, but where do you hire your customer service reps?I used to work at a restaurant, and honestly, most of the reps I talked to sounded creepier than the people that used to make prank calls when I worked...

After I noticed that the package will not be delivered to the store like I was told, I called UPS again and asked what was going on. I was told that the store was full and they could not take another package... So in my head I'm imagining this warehouse store that's exploding with packages, with oompa loompas trying to fit in just one more package (mine) and failing... of course knowing UPS, I knew this wasn't true, but whatever. Fine, as angry as I was, I calmly told the person on the phone that I would stay home the next day since I really needed a new phone since my old one just died on me.

Fast forward to today, I stay home from work waiting for this package that is now more travelled than I will ever be, and nothing shows up. I check on UPS's website and what do I see? Ohh they've successfully changed my delivery method and my package will be reserved in store! Honestly UPS, is your existence to torture me?! So I then go into the store thinking at the very least I'll still have my phone today, but NO, my package is not there either, it's on the frickin truck! And of course, like every good UPS employee, the person has no clue when it will get there and to call tomorrow.

I swear from this day on, I will refuse to buy from anyone that uses UPS as a carrier. I will personally drive to where the package is to pick it up before I will let UPS touch anything else of mine again! Rant over.

Poor Delivery Service

UPS was contracted to deliver a package from Salt Lake City Utah to Santa Ana CA. The parcel was to be delivered before noon on April 1st but did not arrive. I contacted the distribution center to track the parcel three (3) times and was told it would be delivered between 8:00 and 9:00 am on April 2nd. Installation staff was flown to our location to install the equipment that UPS was supposed to deliver on April 1st. They were required to stay overnight for the installation that was supposed to be concluded today. When I called UPS again....there is not any accurate delivery information. This is not the first but maybe the last time we'll use UPS.

Sex in the delivery truck in front of my children!!!!!!

We were wondering why there was a UPS truck parked in a shaded area behind our school. So as we were walking with our children pass the van we heard somebody inside having sex!!!!! I told the children to move along and we went home. As soon as they were safe inside I went back to the truck to find out who was in the van and what they were doing. I could hear the noises and I walked around and the side door was open and I quietly climbed in without making noise and peeked in the back they were going at it! She was the ugly crack *** in the neighborhood and I started to yell GET OUT OF HERE YOUR IN FRONT OF A SCHOOL WITH CHILDREN WALKING BY!!!!! and the driver looked up at me and kept *** her and she started cursing me out so I climbed all the way in and started throwing packages at them but they didn't care so I took out my camera phone and got pictures of them and the driver just kept telling me GO AWAY and the *** started throwing packages at me so I found a bottle of coke and shook it up and sprayed it all over them and then they stopped!!!! that's what a mom has to do in the neighborhood these days!!!!!!!

We were to receive a UPS Blue package that was 1' long and 34 lbs. it was a steel bar from a major material vendor. They lost our package, listed it clearly on the tracking page that they lost it, then tried to charge us additional handling fees so they wouldn't have to refund the charges for lack of delivery. Shipped on 03/10/15 received 03/17/15 and they still want their money. So much for guaranteed delivery. When the package did arrive it was in perfect condition. On 03/16/15 UPS tracking said "A late UPS trailer arrival has delayed delivery. Delivery will be rescheduled" But they still claim it is our fault. Unbelievable UPS!!! Their whole guarantee is a ***!!!!

Ups cant get anything delivered on time

i ordered stuff on the internet and it had free 2 day shipping. it was a guaranteed shipping. it wasnt delivered on time. i call ups and they give me excuses. i email again they say it was delayed no idea why. i returned some stuff a few weeks earlier and 2 weeks later it still hasnt been delivered. i call them and they say amazon (the one im returning stuff to) has to call them not me. amazon refuses and ups wont do anything. my past few orders have been 3 or 4 business days late. what is 2 day guaranteed shipping when they dont keep their end?
