UPS - 2nd Day Air? or Two Week Air?

i ordered a new laptop from newegg, and paid the 60 bucks for second day air to alaska. UPS must not understand that when someone pays the extra cash to get something faster that THEY NEED, hey should probably get it to them.. i mean *** ups its sitting in your facility so says the internet. But you idiotic delivery personnel just seem to have a lower iq then my 11 year old sister....... and whats with this BS of your offices being open for one hour and thats it? i give UPS a solid rating of YOUR TRASH!!!!!

I was schedule to pick up a package on a friday at the end of august/2014 when I get there, the slimy guy that approached me had a f*&% up attitude, he asked me my name in a way that he implied it wasn't really my name, I'm from a latin country, i do have a latin accent but my name is fully european, this guy was one of those mexican american that hate latin immigrants, you could read it all over his face, this over 300 pound mexican redneck at the main facility of Los Angeles on the 1800 North block of Main St. in downtown LA, I'm 5'10 and weight 175 pounds with a latin accent, his hate filled the room, and all the other employees acted afraid and uncomfortable around him, they couldn't even look at me or acknowledge me, then after showing my ID and him checking it 3 times he says: Your package is not here, and i tell him the website said it was ready for pick up, and we go back and forth, then suddenly without even touching the comp. keyboard he says: Oh i found it, I'll be right back, and I'm there waiting for 20 something minutes, he comes back and says: What was the contents of your package? and I'm like HUH? WTH??? confused i tell him jewelry and very relaxed he goes: oh no wonder, look somebody cut your package open with what seems to be a box cutter and everything is gone, call your shipper on monday and they will tell you what to do, then he sees my pissed off face and he says: let me call security to see what he says, he pulls out his cellphone dials a number thru the speaker phone twice and both times the voice mail of a cellphone company answer, u know u have called bla, bla, bla, and he tells me again just to call on monday, He couldn't get in touch with security at the main UPS facility in Los Angeles???? PLEASE!!!! I have heard many times from people that know someone at UPS that they steal left and right with no repercussions, i believe it now, today is Oct the 7th, and to today that case has not been resolved, I am down hundreds of dollars and i don't do business anymore with anyone who tries to use UPS to deliver my packages.... anyways USPS and FEDEX are cheaper!!! thank u for reading my crying :)

I am still waiting 2 months and 2nd attempt for the merchant to get higher end furniture to me. The first time we ordered this furniture our packages "disappeared." UPS has changed the zip code 2 times in 2 months losing our furniture.

UPS has sadly become a shady company that I will never ever be doing business with again.

Do not use UPS for valuable items.

Ups - Delivery Schedule Review

They are so incredibly *** it hurts my brain to even attempt to image how they justify operating in such an illogical and irreprehensibly *** manner. So, I saw that my package was scheduled to be delivered to my apartment in between 11:15 and 3:15p. I, like most upstanding intelligent Americans work from 9 to 5, Mon through Fri. So the night before delivery I decided to go ahead and spend the five dollars to have my package left at a UPS store less than a mile from my house. The next day I receive an email stating that my package would not arrive at my local UPS store for another day. So, I call "Customer Service" and say "Why should it take an extra 24 hours to drop my package off less than a mile from its originally intended drop off location?" Their answer "Processing". What year is it again? Oh that's right 2014, we've got the internet, computers in our pockets thousands of times more powerful than a desktop was 5-10 years ago, and cars that run on hydrogen and produce water. For *** sake, i can instantly communicate with nearly anyone on the planet with the press of a few buttons and in 12 hours somehow UPS can't manage to communicate that a singular package needs to be delivered less than a mile from its original location. Utterly amazing. So, right now my package is being "processed" (sitting on a shelf somewhere) and I am apparently not allowed to even come pick it up till it is finished being "processed". I'm so glad I paid five dollars to have my package held hostage for a day. You are the absolute worst at everything you do UPS. I will never ever use UPS ever again.

I believe it is time to take some action. It is apparent that absolutely NO ONE at UPS gives a ******* about the company.

Customer service reps are rude and provide no meaningful resolutions to any problem, drivers are liars and management is always in a meeting. What a shamble of a company!

Linda Blair at the Swann Island UPS in Portland Oregon contact number (503-978-7722) has to be the rudest, most unprofessional, incompetent, and unethical person I have ever dealt with. After she admitted our 2-day air package had not even been put on the truck. She...

UPS service stinks!

Keep getting notified by vendors that are orders are being returned or held at a UPS facility because we have requested UPS to do so. UPS or Driver has NEVER notified us that there is any package waiting for pick up. We also had several birthday presents returned because we weren't aware they were being shipped to us, so we were not on the look out. Calling customer service has gotten us absolutely no where. We checked the UPS website and it states that we "requested this package to be held for pickup at the UPS facility." Bull ***! We never got any notice and have absolutely no idea what UPS facility it is being held at!

UPS in Austin, Texas - Drivers keep leaving delivery notices, and we are at the loaction. They don't even try, probably because the schedule is all that matters to them.

See title. There were several people at the property over 21 for delivery and the driver did not make a good attempt to find someone. I have had many such problems with UPS on corporate deliveries. Their forms are confusing and they do not follow them. I even signed the form to say leave at the door and I will assume risk of theft, but they would not. The form apply they left apparently does not apply for signature required, although why have the signature blank at all if not for this purpose? The customer service department is a joke, no one can commit to chasing the issue and resolving it, I was redirected three times, and am now waiting for a call. They also are threatening by e-mail to ship my package back to sender. I've already paid for it! It's my property. It's worth paying a little extra for FedEx. They normally get it right and are easy in resolving issues.

So strange how they need a phone number for you after you've paid for the products & the shipping already. I just wanted to have them hold my package @ the UPS Cust. Pick-Up center in Spokane, WA. since was'nt sure anyone would be @ shipping address to sign for it...

What you don't understand is that UPS doesn't consider package recipients to be customers.

They only think of the shippers as customers. So what you need to do is complain about UPS to the company that shipped your product.

UPS in London, Ontario - Worst carrier period

1.0
Details
Ok, I NEVER complain about services online, but UPS has really pushed me over the edge. I ordered a phone online, and UPS gave me a near two week delivery time (for a 7 day delivery). That would have been ok, if they were able to meet that date, but no! There was "sorry, we were unable to load your package onto the plane" (seriously? It was sitting there for 4 days waiting for the plane, how in the world was it missed?), and "sorry, due to severe weather conditions, we are unable to deliver your package" (I live in the area, there is no severe weather unless you now call drizzle severe weather!!). Then, when it finally makes it into my city, I can't be home to get the package, so I call UPS to keep it at a store so I can pick it up the next day. The rep confirmed it will be at the store TWICE, gave me the address and told me everything was set. When I check the website a few hours later though (out of paranoia from everything that has happened to my package so far), of course it will not be held at that store because "Delivery to UPS Access Point™ unsuccessful; a second attempt at the receiver's address will be made"?!?? So if I had gone into the store like UPS told me to, I would never have gotten my package, and yet you did not even bother to tell me? Also, not trying to make any personal attacks, but where do you hire your customer service reps? I used to work at a restaurant, and honestly, most of the reps I talked to sounded creepier than the people that used to make prank calls when I worked...

I'm the person who wrote this review, and I just wanted to add my latest UPS horror stories about this package... After I noticed that the package will not be delivered to the store like I was told, I called UPS again and asked what was going on.

I was told that the store was full and they could not take another package... So in my head I'm imagining this warehouse store that's exploding with packages, with oompa loompas trying to fit in just one more package (mine) and failing... of course knowing UPS, I knew this wasn't true, but whatever. Fine, as angry as I was, I calmly told the person on the phone that I would stay home the next day since I really needed a new phone since my old one just died on me.

Fast forward to today, I stay home from work waiting for this package that is now more travelled than I will ever be, and nothing shows up. I check on UPS's website and what do I see? Ohh they've successfully changed my delivery method and my package will be reserved in store! Honestly UPS, is your existence to torture me?!

So I then go into the store thinking at the very least I'll still have my phone today, but NO, my package is not there either, it's on the frickin truck! And of course, like every good UPS employee, the person has no clue when it will get there and to call tomorrow.

I swear from this day on, I will refuse to buy from anyone that uses UPS as a carrier.

I will personally drive to where the package is to pick it up before I will let UPS touch anything else of mine again! Rant over.

Ups Manager Review

I sent my husband who is deployed to Afghanistan a package and it never arrived. I called with the tracking number and after talking to 4 people including a manager they just said "it's out of our hands since it's a military package" no apology, no accountability, nothing. Shameful, even more so considering it was for a service member.
