UPS - Lies, lies, lies

Apt info was missing from a pkg I sent, my fault. I tracked the pkg, it said they were trying to get updated address info. No one contacted me. So I did two live chats the morning after the first attempted delivery. Both confirmed they would update address info for me. Later, I tracked pkg to find out at 5:44pm it was being returned to sender. Did another live chat, they said it was going to be delivered by the end of the day. Mins later, a call comes from local ups center saying pkg is being returned. So I call, find out the tracking information was wrong, it would be delivered the following day. I call ups the following day to find out its already in a different state, on its way back to sender. Lie after lie after lie. Total frustration as I was at work trying to resolve this issue. No one contacted me for updated info even though it says they did and was told it was going to be delivered several times but instead gets returned to sender. I'm no longer a ups fan.

UPS in San Francisco, California - Working Hard? Or NOT WORKING AT ALL??

Waiting literally all day on the porch with my boyfriend for a scheduled delivery that was already late due to some late truck or another in another state, but was due that very day. Wait all day... literally all day, checking phone consistently for updates. 7 PM rolls around, the final hour where they can be delivering and the status of the package, on our phone, goes to "Attempt made" when said attempt, NATURALLY, NEVER MADE. Never saw the guy, never got a sticker saying attempt, OBVIOUSLY, SINCE NO ATTEMPT WAS EVER MADE. 1/3 attempts in their 3 attempt system scratched out for free, still don't know if they will show today. Being lied to makes me feel extremely insecure, especially with large sums being spent on items delivered by these insincere workers.

UPS just tried to ripp me off

So I had a package "upgraded" to ups without my consent. I received notification that it had an "exception". So I called ups to find out what was going on and was informed that I would have to pay 49.99 to have the shipment released on delivery. After requesting a breakdown in fees was informed that 8.29 are taxes and duties and 41.70 were ups fees. Considering this shipment's total value was under 200 usd. This is another classic example of UPS trying to fleece it's customers with hidden fees and essentially extort people into paying them or risk losing their items. Luckily I was aware of this kind of practice and was prepared to clear the shipment myself. I strongly recommend that anyone else with similar experiences file complaints against ups with the BBB as well as

UPS - It just gets worse and worse.

after everything ive gone through dealing with UPS, including being hung up on by an employee, i got someone on the phone who said that the local center will call my by 10am to tell me if i can pick it up. so what the lady did was the exact opposite of what i asked her to do--instead of speeding up my delivery by allowing me to pick it up 7am before trucks felt on their routes, i get to wait until they come back from their deliveries and i get to pick it up around 10pm. i swear to god that i will never under any circumstances have anything to do with anyone or any company that uses UPS.

UPS - Never again

i paid extra money for faster delivery and extra money for expedited shipping. 5 days later i was still waiting. my package arrived in town this morning so i called to ask if i could pick it up instead of waiting all day. i was told by 3 employees that i could pick it up after the truck, which wont leave for 2 1/2 more hours, got back later this evening. they circle talked me, avoiding saying no. instead they all told me that i could pick it up later when the truck returned. i asked why, and they said because the truck has its packing order (i assume the world would stop revolving if someone took the package off the truck and set it aside for me to pick up in a few hours). never again will i order anything that uses UPS. never once have i had a good experience with them. its always pay us more and we will deliver it in the same time it would normally take.

Ups - Delivery Service Review

UPS is a *** joke. Fed Ex beats them by miles. I ordered the Samsung Note 4 and two days later was able to track it. There were three other packages with phones for the family. On the tracking page at the top, it said delivery scheduled for 10/20 by end of day "on time"for all three packages. I wait all day, and two of the packages are delivered, not to our address, but to the neighbor's which Pissed me off already. Our neighbor brings it over thank god. Then I wait for the rest of the day thinking mine would be here by 7:00ish the same day as it said. 6:00 rolls around so I check the tracking to see if it moved AT ALL then the delivery date changed to the next day. I wasted my whole day waiting on their sorry *** since, first off all, they cant read addresses to save their lives, and IF they find the right address, they just leave the *** there and *** like a bat outta *** before you can even get to the door. Now I have to wait a second day. Seriously, they just need to stop. Their service is *** and they don't help with anything you ask. FEX EX is the ***. Fast and "ON TIME DELIVERY" for real

UPS - Damaged goods

Driver dropped the package on my doorstep and then ran away before I could confront him about the damage. Wonder why they keep their doors open and are always on the run? Now I know! I emailed UPS and they told me it was the shipper's responsibility. They didn't even ask to see the photo. Basically, send it our complaints department where it will get lost with everything else. Take a look at the package. Do you think the shipper (or UPS employee) jumped and down on the box before they delivered it to me? Hope you have a laugh at UPS professionalism in the works.

UPS Monday 10/13/14 Arranged to ship package to Chicago from Jackson UPS Store #1818-delivery Thurs 10/16/14 Tracking #1Z61A0R11216461282 Cost $65.98 Tuesday 10/14/14 Checked Tracking and it showed delivery to be Friday 10/17/14 Contacted UPS Customer Service and confirmed delivery scheduled for Friday 10/17/14 due to “Sorting” issue Wednesday 10/15/14 Contacted Jackson UPS Store #1818 to gather information regarding refund and again confirmed delivery scheduled for Friday 10/17/14 Package contents were supplies and equipment necessary for Food Demo scheduled for Thursday 10/16/14. Given the information that the supplies and equipment I shipped would not be available to me, it was necessary that I make other arrangements for this. At an additional expense of $38.00 I was able to get what was needed for the food demo. Thursday 10/16/14 I called UPS Customer Service to change delivery as it was scheduled to arrive too late to be of use-I was told that package now scheduled to arrive “on time” Thursday 10/16/14. asked to speak with supervisor to confirm this and was told by Supervisor that he apologized for “my misunderstanding” and yes the package would arrive Thursday 10/16/14. There was no “misunderstanding” on Tuesday the UPS website clearly listed package delivery to be Friday, confirmed by customer service rep on Tuesday, confirmed by UPS Store #1818 on Wednesday. The issue here is not when the package arrived but the fact that I was given inaccurate information to deal with and had to make alternative plans based on that information. That information was that the package would arrive on Friday-clearly too late for my Thursday demo. That the package did arrive as originally scheluded has no meaning because my information was that it would not. UPS did not provide the service I paid for in that I had inaccurate information for two days and had to work off that information. It was necessary that I make arrangements for supplies and equipment that negated the need for the package because that is the information I was given. This was a disappointing performace by UPS, my interaction with customer service on both occasions was unsatisfactory and it is also disappointing that there was never any follow-up customer service by UPS.

Yelled at by useless UPS driver

Was waiting in all day for my delivery. 1st attempt was unsuccessful as they showed up at a complete different address (god knows why). After several phone calls with UPS, they send the driver back. He then finds my house, calls the gate but turns around after waiting for about 1 min. Refused to drive in through my gate that I opened for him. As I see him drive away (I haven't even had time to put on my shoes), I run out in my slippers - about 300 meters down the road I catch up with him all sweaty and exhausted from the sprint. Then he just yells at me and refuses to give me my package. WTF!?!? I love internet shopping, but getting stuff delivered can be a nightmare. UPS customer service was helpful, but the driver was useless and very mean!!!
