Chain of Communication At UPS Is Badly Broken

Got a package notice on Monday. Called to say that I needed the package tonight and was told by UPS' national service rep that they would call local center. Local center called me & in no uncertain terms told me it would be there at my house by 7:15pm. Never made it. Call next day to complain and was told by national rep that if I left note on door, and signed slip, they would leave it. Got home today to find another slip with note "Can't Leave Package Without Signature." This put me over the edge. I call UPS back and after all of that, the national service rep told me it would be next day. I flipped out and told her that UPS needed to take responsibility and to get me her manager. Manager tells me he'll contact local office and that if I have the shipper remove the signature aspect, they'll leave it. I email shipper. Shipper calls me after business hours to tell me UPS rep on the phone says they can't remove it once its processed. So he asks do you want me to intercept this so you can just pick it up. I tell them yes. Next second local UPS office calls me and tells me the driver will meet me in the parking lot of an area business at 7:15. Cool right? NOPE. She calls me back and says, "Did you put an intercept on this package?" I say yes, but your deal is better because that office is WAY out by the airport. She then tells me that she can't give me the package until its removed. Anyone smell corporation gone out of control? No one is on the same page at UPS. An utter and total failure to serve the customer.

This is the second time that I have received an email (2 different packages) and they are stating they've attempted to deliver my package. my husband and I both sat here all day. Low and behold and no package. This service is terrible I hate you PS.

Tracking is the worse. Ups doesn't track packages as promised and for the over price rate they charge is outrageous. I advise people to use other shipping methods.

Ups - Tracking System Review

The tracking system is spotty. My package can not be found and starting the claims proccess is a pain on the butt. On hold for 20 min to be told it cant be done for another 24 hours. My ups driver could not findy package that showed was on his truck. So he left. Some how my package made it from Missouri to Texas without being scanned then cant be found. Customer service is bad Use the post office.

I received a notification from UPS that they were to going to deliver a package on the 23rd of October. I arranged to be home early but to my disappointment they changed the status at 15.30 to: Exception-we left the package at the facilities.The next day I call customer services 3 times and all 3 employees confirmed after double checking that the package would be delivered on the 24th. So I stay at home. Nothing delivered of course. The promises from Customer services about confirmed delivery and call backs amount to nothing and it was only at 18.10 that somebody had the decency to change the tracking information. No explanation, no excuse, nothing. So then i get a message that the package was going to be delivered on the 27th (they are closed on the weekend). Nope nothing delivered of course At 19.58 they change the status from out for delivery to: Exception: delay etc. The Customer Service promises all the time and confirms and is sure about call backs deliveries. LIES. The CS department is just a formality and is there to keep unhappy customers at a distance. UPS is now the worst courier and I can only advise you not to have your Christmas presents delivered via UPS. I had another package coming. That was shipped with Royal Mail second class standard. I had it the next day, which was a Saturday.

I ordered a package from Ebay, and to my disgust, they used UPS, to me, they are horrid, I've called the main headquarters, emailed, to explain to them, I am in an adult working household, and it would be appreciated if driver delivered after 5 pm, they said Ok, then the *** comes at 10am, and leaves that *** info notice,"Receiver unavailable" this has happened more than 12 times, and I am through with UPS incompetent drivers and their company, They do not care about their jobs, and their poor service shows that, Please, Avoid these poor uncaring bad service fools!

UPS in Newark, New Jersey - Wrong address

Waiting for package your driver went to the wrong address gave it to someone that wasn't me now that person wants me to pay them to get my package.what I think you should start doing is ask for id not just signing anyone can claim to be that person. I'm a female the person who received it was male. I am not very happy with your UPS drivers. I've never been in a situation like this before. Ive been happy with UPS til now. I'm disappointed. Train your drivers better. Have a blessed day God be with you.

UPS in Rhymney, Rhymney - The most incompetent delivery in history

They turned up at my home unannounced on a Monday when I was at work and demanded £363 in duty fees, and took the parcel away when the money wasn't in the house. I then paid online from work and scheduled a redelivery for Friday, and booked Friday off. Sat home all morning, waiting for my delivery slot of 10.30 - 12.45 and no parcel. At 12.20 I saw a banged up unbadged tatty white van parked outside my neighbour 3 houses up. When I checked the tracking at 12.50 I saw an attempted delivery logged at 12.24. The *** driver went to the wrong house. I rang UPS at 12.55 to get the driver to come back and was promised a call from the depot as the depot would be messaged about the mistake. I rang UPS ELEVEN TIMES up until 7pm, nobody rang me. I had to cancel two afternoon appointments because I was told to wait in for the driver. No delivery, and no calls. I was repeatedly told the case was escalated to the depot, who did not contact me. I pointed out time after time that this was the second attempt and I would not be able to stay home from work on Monday for the final attempt and I asked for a SATURDAY delivery to sort it out. Today is Saturday and UPS customer services which should have been open at 8am STILL isn't open so I can't even find out if they will deliver today. They are USELESS, pay any other delivery company but UPS as they don't do their job and they don't give a *** about delivering what I paid for.

Ups - Express Delivery Review

Ordered a part from Italy paid premium for delivery by Friday 3 days was guaranteed it would be ontime losing £1,500 an hour not having it, according to tracking the parcel made its over 1000 mile journey in the first day then is stuck at feltham depot repeatedly forgotten (yes really) it says left at depot it's now Saturday and they don't work weekends (in this day and age) and I cannot have part until Monday My buisness now owes £144,000 in lost production penalties Thanks guys but at least they offered to refund the delivery charge
