UPS AWFUL DELIVERY SERVICES

This has been by far the worse experience I have ever had while having anything delivered. I use my cell phone heavily for my job and therefore, had a replacement express shipped to me after it was broken. Knowing I am rarely home during the day, I tried having my phone shipped to my workplace so that I could receive it, but was told my business had an "invalid" address. My first complaint is that your website claimed the package would be delivered by 3:00 PM so I swapped shifts at work so that I would be home when it arrived. However, it did not arrive by 3PM and I had to leave. According to your website, the package arrived at 4:52pm, nearly two hours after the committed delivery time you provided. Secondly, I find it very inconvenient that you only deliver business days, especially when you have no way for the customer to change delivery address, add a message to take to neighbors, deliver after a certain time or intercept a package. Because I generally work regular business hours at my job, it makes it nearly impossible to be available to receive this package I desperately need. So really, what can brown do for me because it doesn't seem like they can get a package to someone

First issue with UPS is many years

Foremost, my driver is great. He's always on time, friendly, puts my packages in a safe location. I've never had a complaint about UPS until today. I ordered my wife a Halloween costume online, the original date PER UPS TRACKING was November 1. Obviously, this is past Halloween, making the package useless. Original delivery was scheduled via UPS SurePost (final delivery by post office), which I've never had a problem with before. I saw an option to "upgrade" the package to UPS delivery. I paid the $3.50 and tracking was changed to 10/31 delivery. Fine, I'll have it by Halloween night. UPS man came and went today (10/31), no package. Checked tracking and now it says it will be delivered 11/3. Called to complain and get a refund for the "upgrade". I put "upgrade" in quotes because its not an upgrade when its now going to be delivered three days after the original date. The agent tried to tell me that they dont deliver Saturday so it would be delivered Monday. I tried many times to explain to her that if USPS was going to deliver it Saturday, UPS should deliver it to my post office Friday, and therefore could deliver it to me Friday. The post office is 1.5 miles from my house. She didnt understand what I was trying to say and told me if I wanted a refund she would transfer me to the billing department. I waited on hold again, explained this whole situation to who I thought was the billing department, but it was another agent who didnt understand what I was saying. The first agent just put me back in the *** to talk to one of her colleagues. Second agent finally transfers me to the billing department where I go through the horrible voice navigated phone tree, put in my tracking number, and it says I have no option for a refund on this package, and gives me no option to talk to an agent. I WILL STICK TO USPS AND FEDEX. AVOID UPS AS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. ALL I WANTED WAS MY $3.50 BACK. THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER WHO SPENDS MUCH MUCH MORE THAN THAT ANNUALLY.

The Lazy UPS delivery person

I am expecting to get the package today. I had been waiting for the whole day. Finally I see a message " a customer was not available when UPS attempted delivery. Will deliver to a nearby UPS Access Point™ for customer pick up" ( By Tracking Information over internet). OMG! Liar ! I called UPS Customer service to arrange the re-delivery. The male person told me that I will take up to 6 business days so you can come to the pick up for the convenience. I said I wasn't my false and it's ok. He replied I will take one to two business days. OMG! Lair again.

UPS in Windsor, Ontario - Chasing them for MY package

Ordered a package from the states, to just outside of Toronto, Canada. Waited approx. 2 weeks for this package to finally come in, received the first notice on a Wednesday, attempted to see if I would make it for the next day, which I didn't so I decided to arrange a pick up. Went through their horrible tele-prompting service on the phone which automatically hung up on me multiple times (10 times with 2 different contact numbers both from my landline and my mobile phone) finally got through and arranged for a pick up in Mississauga, which I found out is approx. 50+kms away from me. So I attempt to call in again to change the location as their is a UPS customer store MUCH closer to me in Hamilton (by almost 40kms) and find myself in the chain of repeated call failures, AGAIN. Then finally work through to a ACTUAL human being. To which they tell me that for the package to be sent to the Hamilton location will COST ME $6.00....how is that possible if it is free to do it online? So in addition to the cost of the package, and the shipping fee of $33, I'm getting charged an additional $97 for brokerage C.O.D. because it is international shipping (why couldn't they include that in the shipping cost, KNOWING it was going to be international shipping from the get go) and the $6.00 fee for changing locations (which the package wasn't even at, as I called the location to confirm whether the package had arrived at their location) and the gas for driving to the store to pick up the package (which I wouldn't complain about in other circumstances, but seeing as this delivery company can't deliver stuff at REASONABLE TIMES OF THE DAY, I see mentioning it fit as I am not going to miss out on a full day of work to HOPEFULLY hear the driver knock on my door, seeing as that is a large complaint among others). Overall I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this service. Will be aiming to NEVER have anything shipped through UPS as my first time was a complete failure, meanwhile with other companies I haven't had any complaints. Possibly if they're Customer Service department wasn't run by machines that don't work properly and I was assisted promptly, I may try them again, but I am NOT ready to spend another hour of my time to chase something and end up spending more money in the process.

UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Brokerage Service Sucks - does not communicate, bills me twice, have receivers after me

i had an order from North Carolina, USA shipped to Calgary, Canada. The order cam in 3 packages due to the size and the vendor had the documentation showing this - line item of items and its respective tracking numbers in the 3 packages. For some reason UPS processed this as 2 orders amongst the 3 packages and tried to get me to pay the customs fee multiple times. After TWO MONTHS they finally realized that it was one order in three packages, and I only need to pay customs once, which I had already done 2 months ago. Packages finally showed up with all contents broken. Not only that, 6 months later i have a receiver company tracking me down to pay the 2nd customs bill which HAD BEEN RESOLVED. I have been in contact with UPS for 2 months after that now so I don't get the receiver company after me and ruin my credit rating and there has been no resolution - file is ongoing with not target date to address. Extremely disappointing for a company with such a renowned reputation

Pay the amount they want, then you go after THEM for the money owed you!

Best way to get them off your back, and you can file Small Claims action if they do not pay.

Inconvenient? Yes.

Should you have to go through this? No.

But, it keeps credit intact, and makes them the bad guy, not sure of any other way to do it.

UPS - Drove over it!
I received a package from ups at my office this morning. From the marks on the package, it looks like they dragged it down the block and back or it got caught in a belt. The package was torn and ripped. The bubble package inside was also ripped. The CD case inside was smashed and in pieces. Luckily, the CD was ok. When they delivered it to the receptionist, they didn't say they were sorry, ask if it was okay, asked if we wanted to file a claim or anything. Just drop and run without a word. Nice way to do business UPS!

Your time is worth it to prove a point so you can get 3 cents or less for the CD case!

But, it is the principle after all, isn't it?

I have seen similar damage occur when a thin package gets stuck under the guard between belts at FedEx. Most often occurs when someone new is allowed to do smalls duties without someone senior watching and doing corrections. Clearly UPS's fault so you can claim damage for the case for what its worth.

We are getting courier from you (UPS) and other couriers like DHL, the package we received from UPS as courier was not delivered to me at the door and they just put in my letter box! this is not acceptable as you have to deliver the packet to the office and take signature. This was also an very important Package so we were surprised that they just put it in the letter box like it was nothing. I hope in future they will deliver it to the door with signature and not in the letter box without signature. Best Regards

UPS in Bronx, New York - Delivery Person Not Doing Their Job. NEVER WILL I SHIP ANY THING WITH THEM.

I was expecting my package with my new phone. Its been a week before T-mobile sent my phone out. When they finally sent it, it was shipped through UPS next day delivery. The day my package was suppose to come 10/28/14 the delivery person marked it as attempt delivery (as if they knock on my door) meanwhile somebody was home all day. They claim they tried again today 10/29/14 @ 2:26pm but I didn't hear a knock nor did they leave a notice on the door. When I called the rude *** agent told me to pick it up.

Chain of Communication At UPS Is Badly Broken

Got a package notice on Monday. Called to say that I needed the package tonight and was told by UPS' national service rep that they would call local center. Local center called me & in no uncertain terms told me it would be there at my house by 7:15pm. Never made it. Call next day to complain and was told by national rep that if I left note on door, and signed slip, they would leave it. Got home today to find another slip with note "Can't Leave Package Without Signature." This put me over the edge. I call UPS back and after all of that, the national service rep told me it would be next day. I flipped out and told her that UPS needed to take responsibility and to get me her manager. Manager tells me he'll contact local office and that if I have the shipper remove the signature aspect, they'll leave it. I email shipper. Shipper calls me after business hours to tell me UPS rep on the phone says they can't remove it once its processed. So he asks do you want me to intercept this so you can just pick it up. I tell them yes. Next second local UPS office calls me and tells me the driver will meet me in the parking lot of an area business at 7:15. Cool right? NOPE. She calls me back and says, "Did you put an intercept on this package?" I say yes, but your deal is better because that office is WAY out by the airport. She then tells me that she can't give me the package until its removed. Anyone smell corporation gone out of control? No one is on the same page at UPS. An utter and total failure to serve the customer.

This is the second time that I have received an email (2 different packages) and they are stating they've attempted to deliver my package. my husband and I both sat here all day. Low and behold and no package. This service is terrible I hate you PS.
