UPS in Princeton, Illinois - Delivery time

Delivered at a time I cannot be home due to work. They wanted to charge me for changing an address so I could get my package or have me travel out of town to go get it after I already spent a lot with them. The people at fed ex leave their number so I can call them directly. Ups get your head out of the past century and get some technology. I hate ups. They make delivery times so people miss them. I mean what do they expect from people at 2:30pm? To be home waiting like a dog on the doorstep? And if I have to sign leave a not on the door to let me even know that you attempted to do anything so I don't have to browse the internet to see what happened!!!

So they provided you two options: you either pay for them to ship it somewhere more convenient (which is an entirely reasonable option, as well as an entirely reasonable charge); or, they can hold it, for free, at the UPS Customer Service Center so that you can pick it up at a time that is more convenient for you. What more are you expecting from them? There are options available when you're purchasing shipping that have guaranteed "arrive by" times, so why not choose one of those next time?

I feel you pain!

I flew into another city, gave the Taxi Driver the address I wanted to go to.

He gave me a set price.

I then wanted to change the address I wanted to go to, and he wanted to charge me more!

What a crook!

On 19 Nov 14, a UPS package was delivered to my home by mistake. Despite four phone calls to UPS requesting the package be picked up and delivered to the correct address in another part of the county, 24 hours later it still remains at my door step. Shame on UPS for their indifferent customer care and shame on UPS for allowing this package to remain in an unprotected status for such a long time (it was too heavy for me to take it into my home). Hope they pick it up today, since it's suppose to rain and a large package sitting on a door-step for a long period of time is an inviting target for theft .

The driver showed up at my door at 9:30pm we were in bed sleeping why so *** late we live in the country I did grab my gun cuz didn't know who was here lucky he didn't get shot make earlier delivers!!! Don't like getting woke up!!!

Worked for them. The company tries to shove so much volume by force through belt systems not built for amount of packages your stuff gets crushed and the company blames its employees not the system.

This review is long overdue. I now have multiple bad experiences with UPS, and I will put them all, chronologically, into this single review. Several years ago, I ordered a replacement phone from my provider as mine was broken (that in itself was a painstaking process). Since the shipment was set up by the phone company, I didn't even think to change my delivery address to my work rather than my home. Though, I lived in a house that was subdivided into 3 apartments and I knew the occupants of the other apartments quite well. Anyway, I checked my shipment status and noticed that it had been delivered, but the signature did not belong to myself, nor either of my roommates, nor anyone living in the other 2 apartments. The driver didn't even take the name down of who signed for the package. So they gave my phone to someone random that didn't live in my building and didn't even bother to ask what their name was. I explained this to my phone provider and they sent me another phone. This time, I received a "sorry we missed you notice". I called UPS and had them change the delivery address to my work and they guaranteed the phone would be delivered the next day. However, the phone did not arrive the next day and when I called, they told me the package had been lost. Overnight, package gone. I couldn't believe it. I finally got it on the 3rd shipping attempt when I requested they use Purolator. Now comes the most recent. I ordered a book from amazon and paid extra for the one day shipping as time is somewhat of an issue, not realizing this was going to be UPS. It was to be delivered today, but a coworker just brought me a "sorry we missed you" notice...I am sitting here in the office as have been ALL DAY. The driver said the business was closed, it is not, and didn't call the number I provided. Not sure what he did to conclude that the business was closed. We get shipments here every day, we've even had a couple today already. Maybe the people at FedEx get better training. I called customer service and the rep was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Luckily, I called back and got a new rep who was very pleasant and helpful, wish I got his name. Sadly, though, I am now going to pick the package up in the morning myself from the depot. It is frustrating that there is no contact between the drivers and the CSR's. I get that things happen, but I used to run a mailroom for a large company, where I dealt with all of the delivery companies every day. I can count the number of hiccups by the other companies combined, on one hand without using my thumb. UPS, however, gave me frequent headaches, and I have never used them for a personal package that didn't turn into a problem. I may not always have a choice of service providers, but when I do, I can assure you that I will never, ever select UPS.

UPS in Pontevedra, Galicia - Parcel not received

I sent a package from Italy 2 months ago. In order for it to clear customs in South Africa 3 weeks later, I had to send certified documents to UPS mentioning what exactly my package contains. This was done and signed in Italy already, which was sent through to UPS so not understanding why I had to do this, I provided these documents after several requests. Once this was provided, UPS requested R120 for a delivery fee. I paid this with a reference that they have given me and I was informed that this package will be delivered within 3 working days. Well it's been 25 days later and still no package has been delivered. Unfortunately I am abroad and have misplaced the tracking number after my payment has been done. I have been told that I need a tracking number in order for them to deliver it, however if UPS had delivered the parcel within 3 days as promised, we would not have this problem. Now they also want to charge me for storage. This is unacceptable. After I have made that payment it was UPS's responsibility to deliver my parcel. Plus there has been several occasions trying to follow up with Thelma, and she just doesn't reply to emails. I am very disappointed with the service I have received and I expect to receive my parcel in South Africa after all the trouble I have gone through. Your urgent response would be appreciated. UPS is by far the worst courier service there is. Horrible useless customer sevice and incompetent drivers are the epitome of this company. Save your money, time and brain cells go with another courier

UPS in Glasgow, Glasgow City - ATTEMPTED DELIVERY !! PURE LIES

I ordered an item from Costco warehouse online to be delivered to home address .. Everything was fine til the Useless UPS got their hands on item .. I was out on 1st attempted delivery as had to go out for school run Called UPS customer service for detailed delivery that was rescheduled for next day he said between 2.45pm - 5.45pm which was great so got my sister to pick daughter up from school & waited in house from 2.30pm . logged into my tracking & said : Glasgow, United Kingdom 18/11/2014 16:14 The receiver was not available at the time of the second delivery attempt. A final attempt will be made. Which is LIES ! As i have been in house & there has been NO UPS van anywhere near my street Called regarding this & was told agent would need to contact Depot USELESS IDIOTS !!!

Pkg Delayed One Day Due to INCOMPETENT UPS AGENTS!!

I ordered meds and purchased overnight delivery. Tracked package at 6am this morning and was confirmed for delivery at 10:30am. By 7:30am UPS advised me they had a delayed flight...then proceeded to tell me my package will not be delivered until TOMORROW! Are you kidding me?! Cus Svc Reps read from scripts with their phoney "I understand" and "I am so sorry" but they truly do NOT understand! THey claim there is no way to resolve this or ensure it is still delivered for today. The astounding part about all this is they coded my package incorrectly in Louisville, KY so even with the delayed flight I could have still received my package today. It is unbelievable how these people take ZERO responsibility and think a "sorry" will compensate customers like me. I refuse to believe there isn't anything anyone can do. This is the last time I use UPS!!!!

Lazy UPS driver

I ordered a smoked turkey from Texas it was delivered on Nov 17 a very rainy day and the UPS driver left the box with the turkey in it near the trash can in my yard while it was raining very hard
