Ups delivery service

on Dec 1 2014 a package was to be delivered to my address , after waiting all day for this package , i called Ups and the said the driver was here but did not have my buzzer number, well nobody buzzed my place, so i asked them what address they had, they said they had the correct address and buzzer number. my oppinion is oviously you dont need a brain to work for Ups, especially if you cant read an address. dont get your packages shipped Ups or you will never recieve it on the day that they tell you, youre better off picking it up yourself.

"I was expecting a parcel between 24-25th nov from WES Canada which was shipped by them on 21st nov.I had to pay extra amount so that the parcel reaches me ASAP almost 87CAD $.Surprisingly I have still not received the same though the same has reached India and in India it lied in mumbai for 4 days and in Chennai till today evening from 24th Nov which should have reached cuttack by 25th or 26th latest.When I called UPS, the customer service from US raised their hand stating that I have to contact their India office and that they cant pass on any info or help.India office toll free no gets disconnected everytime...The agents that UPS uses also donot have enough connectivity here in India.Bad service by UPS/Agents!!With FEDEX, BLUE DART etc around who are so professional I am also wondering why one uses UPS outside US Internationally for Faster delivery!!! "

SO MY DELIVERY GUY WHO DELIVERS THE PACKAGES LITERALLY THROWS THEM ON MY PORCH ONE TIME I ORDERED THESE PLATES BECAUSE I JUST HAD MOVED IN TO THE HOUSE AND WANTED TO START OUT FRESH AND THE GUY MISSED MY PORCH AND EVERYTHING BROKE. HE THEN RAN AWAY AND I HAVE NEVER GOT A PACKAGE FROM UPS AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT. EVEN IF I CALL THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE. ANYWAYS THE PLATES WERE ALL BROKEN. AND MY SON ORDERED A CAMREA THAT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE FOR RECORDING SKATEBOARDING. AND HE SLAMMED IT ON THE PORCH, THE DAY BEFORE THE PLATE INCIDENT.

Next Day Air Package Review

I get important medical equipment shipped to my house daily for my job. For approximately one month they have been forwarding next day air packages to the wrong addresses. They also delay my next day air packages for days and scan them as a closed business location when I live in a condo!

UPS - Just a revised expectation or status update would be nice.
Had a shipment due 10 days ago and no tracking update in five days - just that it's in Syracuse and could not be dispatched because of the major Western NY snow event back on Nov 21st (it's the 29th today). I get and respect that stuff just happens. The status did change to "in transit" five days ago. It's just under two and a half hours between the cities of Syracuse and Buffalo (I attached a mapquest of directions for "Brown's" benefit). I usually have no gripes about this company but in this instance I don't think they handled adversity very well. I'm staying reasonably patient because while the item is of significant value, it's not of any personally urgent need (in which case I would be flippin' mad and cast a pox upon the wickedness). Doesn't UPS "love logistics" anymore? Just would be nice to know if my *** is lost, damaged, stolen or being delivered on or about January 5th 2015. Like I said, UPS hasn't dissed me before but just this once - they deserve a good scorning.

I'm the original poster. Seen a couple UPS trucks pass by, no deal.

Do I have to start a claim? That's my issue. WTF happened to my shipment? *CAN I JUST GET AN UPDATE*?

Not asking for a lot, just what's up. Leaving someone hanging for nearly a week (even considering a holiday) is unacceptable.

Update: so "out for delivery today". Then rescheduled to December 1.

Please just deliver my effin' package and I'll quit whining already. I'll tip the driver if I see him/her - I just don't like this. The opportune moment (epic snowstorm) for a company to show their metal was completely lost by UPS. Gimmie my stuff in expected condition and all is forgiven.

I know UPS drivers are headed into a holiday sheetstorm. Lets get my shipment out of the way and I promise to chill out and wish you logisticker types and drivers a good season.

I spoke to 4 different supervisors from the costumer service 1800 number. They all told me they dont care.

1 of the supervisor told me that they take complaints but the company does nothing about them.

REALLY UPS! Karma will get you one day!

Ok, ithaca ny ups has major issues. Drivers dont knock on your door. Unless I see them or im outside I dont get my package, just a sticker. The manager mike is the BIGGEST ***. He yelled at me calling me a lier and my guess on that is im constantly calling and complaining. I explained to mike that I can prove I was home because 2 minutes before the drivers attempted I had a delivery from FedEx and I was on the phone. When i told mike i was calling the 1800 and he told me that if i did that that he will send my package back to the sender. I really think ups needs to be INVESTIGATED!

UPS in New City, New York - Package delayed 4 days

I ordered an item which was shipped from Austin TX on Monday Nov 24, It was due to be delivered today Friday November 28. I even received a notice it was being delivered today. As late as noon the UPS site said it was due to be delivered today. The package was last scanned at Secaucus, NJ, Wednesday at 11:45 PM. Normally it gets to Nanuet an hour or two later. It should have gotten to Nanuet around 4 AM today and been delivered today. UPS site now says delivery on Tuesday December 2 between 3 and 7 PM. A delay of 4 days. I spoke to a supervisor, she did not know what happened but thought it could have been too much volume. Claimed my package was in a trailer at the Meadowlands. Usually they make their date, often delivery a day early.

I was contacted by UPS Social Media. They provided an email address of help@ups.com.

They apologized for missing the delivery schedule but claimed it was seasonal volume. The package actually arrived 11 AM Monday.

Amazingly I ordered something else which was shipped Fedex.

They gave me a date of 12/3, it was delivered a day early.

I understand volume and capacity, in the case UPS seemed out of control when they should be at the top of their game.

There are some factors that come into this, but without better tracking info, I will have to guess here.

It arrived at 11:45, I have to guess.

Then, consider UPS was closed Thursday for Thanksgiving.

Add in the baclog from the snow that hit, it does not clear up on its own, therefore, a delay is to be expected.

UPS - Very Disappointed

I had a shipment due today. I received a text from UPS saying the package was delivered but I was working on my computer at the front window the entire time and no package was delivered. I then checked the tracking website, which said package delivered, left at front door. I tried the online chat since I was already online and they said call the 800# so I did. They acted as if because their screens said it was delivered here... it was true...The person I spoke to told me they would have someone from office contact me in an hour. Knowing most of my neighbors are out of town and there are two other areas with the same name only Rd and Ct instead of drive I headed out for a search. I found my package sitting on a neighbors front patio who was out of town. I called UPS back to tell them I located it and the snide little man on the phone acted as if I was lying. When I tried to tell him how upset I am because it could have been stolen and I do not have the time or the money to reorder he was extremely rude and acted as if it were my problem because his screen said delivered. Then I receive a call from someone who says she reached the driver who said he may have delivered to the neighbor by accident!!! REALLY? She says check with my neighbors and if they don't have it contact the shipper to put a tracker on it..Just wow..their own mistakes...not their problem...
