Never Ever Send A TV in UPS or anything via UPS

This was the worst shipping experience i ever had. When i reloacted to a new place, i decided to send my household things through UPS. The fact that drew me to this option is , of course the low rates. But in no time i realised that i had to spend more money to replace all those things i send through UPS. It gave me a light stroke when i found my household stuff was damaged when i received them but i was totally devastated when i found my TV completely broken. I couldn't even figure out how they managed to break it because the package looked perfectly okay when i received it but TV inside was completely shattered. They might have taken my TV outside and dropped it from a mountain or something to break it like that..because i have packed it very well with all the required packaging rules that they have mentioned in their dumb website. The worst part is i have insured my TV before sending it and when i contacted the UPS for claiming my insurance they said they will "NEVER DISCLOSE ANY DETAILS TO ME REGARDING why i lost my insurance because i am not the shipper"And to the shipper, they gave some other lame excuse like "GUARANTEE HAS BEEN VOID"..Can anyone decipher this code from UPS?

Ups - Cigars Shipment Review from Bellevue, Washington

UPS has just lost a long time frequent customer. I ordered a shipment of cigars last Thursday. That of course was Thanksgiving, however they were shipped Friday morning according to the shipper. UPS says they were shipped late SUNDAY night...yeah right. What is even worse they sat until Tuesday morning at the hub in PA. FOUR days!!! Anyways I checked the tracking number and according to UPS it was shipped via SurePost even though I paid for Ground Shipping. Anyways the package was sent from the local hub to my Post Office this morning. However, the drive must have messed around or been a caterpillar because he didnt deliver it to the Post Office until eleven am, long after the mail carriers leave. UPS must know this and should have them to thr PO before the mail carriers leave. On top of this the driver goes right past my home to get to the PO. All he had to do was stop, in fact he delivered to my neighbors house around nine this morning? Even if I had paid for SurePost it would have been cheaper for UPS to deliver it to my house instead of the PO. If the mail carrier delivers tommorrow it will have taken seven days for a package to travel six hundred miles. I will NEVER use UPS again.

A nightmare using UPS. An urgent Letter was shipped to me 2 days ago it was supposed to be overnight delivery. UPS does not know where it is. Their customer service is disgusting . Do NOT use this company. FedEx is so much better and reliable

You lost a wedding gift, days before the bride/groom were set to travel. Pathetic. No help from the agents i spoke with on the phone either. No sympathy, *** attitude, and "nothing" can be done. Please, if i go through the trouble to verify a mailing address, send it to that location. What is the use? Did the driver just bring it to the wrong place where someone could keep it as their own? You lost a very expensive item, and i'm extremely dissatisfied. Will not be shipping UPS again, i'll stick with other more reliable ways to send anything.

I ORDERED A FAN FROM AMAZON UPS DRIVER MADE ONE ATTEMPT LIED ABOUT THE SECOND ATTEMPT BECAUSE I WAS HOME AND THEN CLOSED OUT THE SHIPMENT SAYING HE CAME 3 TIMES WHEN HE NEVER EVEN CAME TWICE! I CALLED UPS SPOKE TO ABOUT 7 PEOPLE AND NOONE HELPED! THE LOCAL STORE GOT MY NOTICE AND ALL THEY SAID WAS CONTACT SELLER WHEN UPS THEMSELVES MADE THE ERROR. I CANT BELIEVE WHAT IVE DEALT WITH, NOONE HELPED. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAID? CALL THE SELLER AND GET A REFUND. INCOMPETENCE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. LAST TIME I GO THROUGH UPS OR AMAZON. FEEL PROUD!

UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Don't Offer Something You Can't Provide!

After receiving the expected delivery day email from UPS, I paid to have my delivery date changed, only to find out that my request was not honoured. And to add to my frustration, I'm then advised that I will need to collect my parcel if I want it sooner rather than later. PLUS I'll need to call back to claim back the payment! This seems all one sided, UPS takes money and fails to deliver and then it's the customer who has to collect and call back causing more time and money to be lost - for the customer! Complete fail - bad UPS!

Package Review

I called UPS in the morning to get a time when my package would be delivered by. They said it would be delivered between 8am and 7pm, they said it was on route. I stayed home ALL day and received nothing. I called at 7pm only to be told it was still at the depot. This is ***! My WHOLE day wasted. I will never choose the Ups delivery again.I am pissed. They have formally lost me as a customer.

UPS in Toronto, Ontario - Argued my address didn't exist

I was told by UPS that my package couldn't be delivered because my address didn't exist. I called UPS and verified my address with them and they had it correct. However, they still insisted that it didn't exist and said that they couldn't find it on Google maps. I went on Google maps and my house with address was clearly showing. My house is a detached single family dwelling at a major intersection in Toronto. The UPS customer service person was very rude and continued to argue with me claiming that they were unable to deliver the package. They couldn't tell me what I had to do to prove the existence of my address.

Please train your employees better. Driver should have been able to find my house. Dispatcher should not have told me driver couldn't find house and asked me for directions iinstead of arging with me over and over that my address didn't exist.
