I ordered a messenger bag for my girlfriend online for christmas. Well the site i went through to buy the bag used UPS. Well its been about a week since the order and now they're saying they need me to send more info about where i live or change the shipping address. I go online, open an account with them, track my order, and try to change the shipping address. My order isn't even in the same county as where i live and they're saying they can't find my home. Well, now they're also saying i have to pay them $40 a year to change the shipping address on ONE package. Why should i have to pay for a mistake that your company made for not even attempting to find my home?

UPS in Fort Worth, Texas - Trouble Picking Up Item

I was supposed to have a package delivered on Monday (12/1/14) but it required a signature so I couldn't do it since I'm at work. And I will not *** work just to sit at home to wait for a package without knowing what time it'll be delivered. So I arranged for pick up by myself Monday night and the auto system said I'll be called within an hour to pick it up. I never got called until the next day at 10:04 am and the lady told me that they have limited pick up time from 8-10 am and 7-8:30 pm. The UPS store is a mile from my work place. So I'm not driving back to it from the house (30 min away) to pick it up at 7 pm. If she would've called me before 10 am I would've gone to get it :( So I decided to pick it up the next day (12/02/14) in the morning. I get there at 7:52 am and handed some guy my tracking number he comes back 20 minutes later asking me who it came from and whether it's big or small. I told him I don't know like and said probably small. So basically they're so unorganized they couldn't find it. I was there for 40 minutes and I was getting late for work. I left so mad so I called customer service to complain and he said that store will call me back. I got off work at 4:30pm and still no call. I decided to go there at 6pm instead of their 7pm pick up time. Several other people were also waiting with their fair share of complaints. Finally after 20+ minutes I got my package. I hate UPS!!!

In the future... have it delivered to work.

I do it all the time since I live in an apartment and don't trust the neighborhood. Just a thought.

Package Review

I had order my package on monday 12/1/14 and ordered 3 days shipping. It was scheduled to arrive on thursday. I come home thursday afternoon, looked at the tracking code, and it said it was now scheduled to arrive monday. 3 days turns into 7. And i can't do anything about it. That is poor service

Ups - Package Review from Puyallup, Washington

I am so angry at UPS. When I ship things, I NEVER go through them, however unfortunately when I buy things they are the only shipping company. 3 Times in a row that UPS has shipped something, its been screwed up. First, they didn't knock on the door, they left a $500 package sitting there and it was raining. Second, they said they tried to deliver something, but I never got one of the info notice slips, so I asked if I could get it at the station. I get there, they give me the package ALREADY OPENED because they delivered it to the wrong house and that *** opened my package. UPS didn't even apologize nor be courteous and reclose the package. Now today is the third time. Apparently they attempted to deliver it this morning and I was out walking the dog. So I call to get it picked up at the costumer center. They couldn't find my package or any information on it based on their own notice tracking numbers. What's the point of having barcodes and tracking information if your employees don't do their jobs? They had to transfer me through four different people in order for someone to figure out where my package was. Ridiculous! I've worked in customer service for ten years and never EVER seen this much neglect for the basics of a persons job duties, AND costumer service. There is no excuse. I am telling everyone I know and businesses to NEVER ship through UPS at all. USPS/snail mail is better than UPS!

Ups - Internet Equipment Shipment Review from Los Angeles, California

Between UPS and Century Link they are both companies I wish I had not done business with! I was supposed to have had received my equipment for my internet on the 1st its now the 4th 2:59pm and still no package. Lady on the phone told me that my address was wrong . My address is just fine I think the driver is too *** lazy to come by and drop off my package .Sad part is I have no choice but to use UPS because thats what Century Link is using im tired of waiting and arguing with customer service!

UPS in Klamath Falls, Oregon - A TRIFECTA OF DELAYS ,

Ordered a 24lb package that was scheduled for pickup on 11/28 for 12/2 delivery. Distance was from Ontario Cal to 20 north of the border in Oregon. Picked up a day late and rescheduled for delivery on 12/4. Updates were ALWAYS a day later then specified. Package went to Portland Oregon, 350 miles north of of us, where it sat unloaded on the UPS truck for 24 hours. Now it is rescheduled for 12/5! That's 3 rescheduled deliveries on a distance of less then 800 miles on a route that is right on I-5 straight up California! Way to go UPS, it's the wort case of handling logistics I have ever seen in my life. I ship over 2k per month and now bid you adieu. You guys SUCK. Hello, FED-X

UPS in Buffalo, New York - Could NOT UNDERSTAND customer service rep on phone

I was missing a package, and called UPS customer service....The rep barely spoke English on the phone!!!! Could not understand a single word of what I was being told!!!You people need to Hire English speaking customer service reps!!!! I was transferred several times to different agents, and I could not understand a word of what I was being told. This is NOT the first of this incident....every time I call UPS, I am on the phone going around and around with non-English speaking reps. I will never use UPS ever again!!! And, I still do not know where my package is!!!! TOTALLY USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS!

I have the same issue. I was supposed to have something delivered today (12/19) by UPS, but last night their tracking system said that the package has been delayed in Portland and yet to be unloaded.

There was no estimated new arrival time. Some 13 hours later, the tracking information still hasn't been updated, and so I have no new arrival date. The package appears to be in limbo. The weather is fine, so it's not a weather delay.

I'm not even sure why they sent it to Portland given that I live near Seattle (3 hours away). I am now asking the retailer from which I ordered the item to contact UPS directly.

I understand that Christmas may overwhelm them; but then they shouldn't offer "2-day" shipping that is in fact a lot longer. I wish now I had just gone to a local store rather than try to have the item delivered.

UPS in Incline Village, Nevada - TWO PACKAGES, TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, BOTH DELAYED WITH SAME *** EXCUSE

I could have had free shipping, but elected to pay $25 extra to receive by 12/5. Now I am suddenly getting the following messages on the UPS tracking site: "We have not yet unloaded the package from the trailer. This may delay delivery. / Delivery will be rescheduled." No estimate of when they will deliver. One package is sitting in Sacramento CA, the other in Portland OR. Weather is not a factor in either location. I can understand a blizzard causing a delay, but how can you "not unload a package from a trailer" when you are a shipping company!!

I'm in the same boat! I two orders from completely different companies and they both are delayed saying the same message and are stuck in San Pablo.
