Ups - Passport Shipment Review from Calgary, Alberta

I had a very important package to be delivered next because I m travelling next day and the package contains my passport and I paid extra just to have it delivered but never. I spent all day outside waiting and called several times and UPS customer service agents told they can't locate the driver. This is a bad experience and I'm not gonna do business with UPS again and I'll tell people I know not to do so

8 of 10 UPS package deliveries fail!

I have packages to be delivered every day this couple of weeks and EVERY package is either can't find address, or tried to deliver 3 times, but with no notice ever left, or random notices in the mail of package held due to some excuse. Incredible a company this bad can stay in business. I call them "oops" as that is their standard m.o., poorest delivery service in the business, twice as bad as the US Postal Service. I ask every shipper now to not use them if possible. and now how many more words do i need to describe poor service?

UPS "exception" delay and delay

I bought a product on Sunday, November 31 with three day shipping which would mean Thursday, December 4, 2014. I come home from work on Thursday, Dec. 4 anticipating my package will be delivered. However, that was not the case. I get an exception listed with my UPS tracking number. It can't be a weather delay since it is bright and sunny. 100% DELAY ATTRIBUTED TO HIGH PACKAGE VOLUME. The exception says, "We've left the package in our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay. / Delivery will be rescheduled." I call UPS customer service and they can't provide me a reason why there is a delay. Useless customer service. Okay, so I assume the package will be delivered the next day on Friday. Wrong again. I get another UPS update on Friday night saying, "Delivery will be delayed by one business day." So that means I have to wait until Monday, December 8. Frustrating even more, is that another delay can happen. This is absurd. UPS needs to hire more workers or stop accepting so many shipments from retailers if they can't deliver on-time.

I have my kids passport in their trailer for last 5 days. It was a 2 day air shipment.

The last status update was on thrusday 5 AM in Ockland, CA. After that there is no update. UPS customer care is pathetic. They are telling me keep monitoring at UPS.Com.

They don't have any clue what is happening.

UPS in Toronto, Ontario - Everything in 3 boxes broken

Details
Very upset- we shipped 5 boxes from Canada to Seattle packed with dishes via UPS. UPS would not let us insure them. We took lots of care packing them with hard foam and bubblewrap. The clerk said not to bother marking Fragile as it really didn't matter but we did anyway. The consignee received & reported all dishes in three boxes broken. These were all the serving dishes which were the most expensive. She said it looked as if they had been dropped from a second floor. As we couldnt insure them we can't even make a claim. Will never use UPS again either for business or personal shipping.

Ups - Delivery Driver Review from Houston, Texas

UPS lost 3 packages, to be delivered to me, in 3 days this week. I spoke to the driver and he told me which house he left them at. It is an unoccupied house, on the market to be sold, on my street. He even got a signature for the box that required a signature which is nothing like mine. (There are sure some dishonest people in this world.) Total value is close to $2,000 and I cannot get them to reimburse me yet. It is "under investigation". The funny thing is I've done more investigating than they have. One item is a piece of amateur radio equipment no longer in production. It will be almost impossible to replace it. The other items could easily be replaced with just another order from an amateur radio outlet store which they refuse to do. Now I am penalized for THEIR mistake???? I have been on the phone with them many, many times trying to resolve this with no success. They say it will take up to 10 days for the investigation to be completed. Again, I am the one penalized for their mistake??? I will do my utmost to never have anything shipped via UPS again.

Tonight, UPS left two packages unsecured outside my front gate. Why can't the deliveryman go to my front door? Anyone could have stolen the two packages. It's wonder they don't go out of business with the number of claims they must have against them. Last night UPS left another delivery inside on the walkway. However it was a late delivery. And as I did not go outside after dark, the package stayed outside overnight and it rained. This morning it was soaking wet. Terrible service. Fedex is my choice. They always go to my front door and ring the bell or knock on the door. Thank God for Fedex's business practice.

i am becoming very annoyed with this company. I have had to call despite the fact my package was to be delivered yesterday and only then did i find out that it would be delayed by 1 day. fair enough now today i called and i was advised that it would be delivered today it is now roughly half 6 WHERE IS THIS PARCEL? communication is poor and i have been waiting for two days and still nothing. will never use this company again have also been calling and now i have been on hold for 20 minutes. The online tracking details are very misleading.

UPS guy lies about attempted deliveries and customs is always higher near Christmas!

The local UPS guy always claims to have attempted delivery when there have been multiple times that no delivery attempt was made! There were also times when he buzzed and I answered but he just ran back into his van and sped off! Calling UPS is a joke. You go through to a machine. No real person to speak to about any issues you're facing. Don't even get me started on the extortionate customs charges which strangely seem to be much higher around Christmas time! One delivery in the past didn't even get delivered to us and there was no way to claim a refund!

Details
Paid for an overnight delivery of time critical goods, but yet UPS have taken four days to deliver. After numerous phone calls I was repeatedly inform goods were out on delivery but failed to update status on tracking information. Once delivered i discovered that half of the goods were missing. In my honest opinion i find it An absolute disgrace and will never use there services again. I strongly urge anybody to avoid using UPS for any type of deliveries and advise services should be used elsewhere. There is nothing worse than a company that doesnt know its *** from its elbow that has disgraceful communication skills and promises that they cannot keep
