Package Review

Delivered my packages to the post office as their UPS Surepost then told me "oh, we have a deal with USPS, they will deliver them in a couple days". Needless to say what happened and refused to deal with the problem.

Use ups if you want unprofessional service and delays in your delivery

Paid for expedited two day shipping, ups kept forgetting the item at their facility. I called customer service inquiring about delievery for the next day was and they advised me that the cut off time is 7pm. I waited at home all day,finally at 8:18pm they come. I live in a condo and I have small kids,I advised them it might take me max. 5 minutes to get downstairs. I requested the driver to come up but he refused. Got downstairs and he left!!!!!!! Need the package because the person I'm giving it to is flying home in the morning.

UPS Claims address errors and returns shipment with no explanation

I recently sent a gift to my niece in Ohio (from Chicago) in a tan bubble envelope. The package was returned to me 10 days later with a sticker covering the ship to address that read "Multiple address errors". I carefully peeled back their "error label" to see the original label. It was clearly legible and the address was correct. I called UPS to find out why it had been returned and after 10 minutes of auto teller questions finally got someone on the line who insisted that the package had been delivered. I finally asked him to read the address where it had been delivered (my office address) and then asked him to look at the address where it had been picked up...Ohhhh. Then the same person tells me that the street address is wrong. I tell him that I have confirmed the address and it is correct. Then same person (same call) tells me " oh wait, there were other barcodes on the package". I tell him there are no other barcodes and offer to send a photo. He then tells me that the label was not legible. I offer a photo again. Fours excuses in one conversation! In the end he says someone will investigate and call me back but no one ever did so I am out $10.80 for the first shipment and $12 for the FEDX to actually get the package delivered. Dump your UPS stock and buy FEDX!

UPS is unorganized.
I ordered several things online during Black Friday through different websites. Some of the things were sent through USPS & Fedex but majority of the items were sent through UPS. Everything was ordered around the same time but I am still waiting on everything that was shipped through UPS. First it was scheduled for a Saturday, then a Tuesday and once Tuesday rolled around, I was informed that they left my package at the facility and it would be another day. I am extremely frustrated because I needed these items for a specific day and wasn't able to receive them by then because UPS is so.slow. Moreso, I'm frustrated because UPS doesn't even apologize or try to remedy it, it's just an issue that I'm forced to deal with and it is very annoying. Especially since I ordered other things at the same exact time/day and they are all here because they were shipped through the faster USPS and FedEx. Honestly, I really feel like UPS is a joke and is ran by a bunch of oblivious *** who can't do the simplest task of getting me my packages at the proper times. I'm extremely dissatisfied and I really do think UPS needs to improve their custormer service also.

It's just the nature of the business - and the industry. I don't work for UPS but I do work for an online retailer managing issues related to shipping.

Unfortunately FedEx is no better.

Advice from a professional: give your merchandise a decent cushion before ordering, because delays are always possible (especially during the holiday rush). Also, contact the companies you purchased through to see if they will refund the cost of shipping.

Retailers/shippers have the option to get a Guaranteed Service Refund for late packages for all reasons besides weather related delays - go get your money!

These couriers should not advertise a service they can not deliver. They are happy to take our money from us for next day delivery when they knew full well that the goods would not be delivered on time.

If you read peoples reviews there is no excuse for the delivery driver not even showing up and lying that there was no answer at the address.

People had to take a day off work to sit around waiting for the delivery to arrive. These lying courier firms should lose contracts with retailers, customers will not use the retailers again if they continue to use such a bad courier.

I received the perfect mirror to match my furniture in my new home only to get it broken. The box was damaged on the end to show it was handled roughly. The mirror wasn't even in the frame. I watched them let it hit the bumper on the truck before they brought it to the door. UPS SUCKS!

NEVER AGAIN WILL I CHOOSE TO ORDER THROUGH UPS! Not only did they supply an awful outsourcing customer rep but they couldn't even fix a simple technical problem. It claims if you become a member you can change the shipping address yet never allows the option to happen. Instead of fixing something as simple as a change of address I am forced to stay home and wait an extra week for a package that was delayed on their behalf. UPS is a top example for false advertisement and a poor excuse for "simple shipping". Don't become a member and I wouldn't even bother paying for the premium package. They are both pointless!

UPS Overnight is USELESS

First, I never receive my new credit card...so I call my bank and they said they mailed it out UPS Overnight.. It was several months missing so, I asked if they could cancel that card(Fortunately, it was never activated or used) and they said sure...you will get your new card within 2 days...this was 11-26-14...by 12-6-14 NOTHING still..I called UPS with a tracking number and they say, it must of been lost and they will open an investigation...how long does a investigation take...8 to 10 days. I call my bank and explain UPS somehow has lost my credit card..they apologize and say they will cancel that card and UPS overnight a new one....this time I am ready and tracking...ok, UPS Website tracking number says it is in transit and will be delivered today...no later then 7PM...NOTHING again..I called UPS and they will call another department and call me back to let me know where the driver is.....UPS Overnight is USELESS.

So My package was supposed to get to me on Friday. Tracking showed it was in a city only TWO HOURS AWAY!!!! So i thought "cool", i shouldn't go out with friends because this delivery is very important, and to my surprise (no surprise really, i know UPS is the worst shipping company of all times and doesn't care for their customers ) UPS never showed up. So now I have to wait out the weekend because this "lovely" company doesn't deliver on Saturdays. Monday comes around and im really excited my much needed package will arrive, and yet again my package doesn't come. At this point i have just given up on UPS, i will do everything in my power to never expect a package from this useless company. That includes telling friends and family this company sucks, and requesting for sellers not to ship with UPS. Oh did i mention that my package was only 2 HOURS AWAY SINCE THE EXPECTED DELIVERY DAY (FRIDAY) AND IT IS NOW TUESDAY AND I HAVE NOTHING!!!

Don't waste your time to call UPS. Those *** have no interest to help ypu.

Got an email from UPS today telling me a package is beiing delivered and required a signature. But there is no option to allow me to sign online. No surprise, I got the delivery note at my door telling me UPS attempted delivery at 5:45pm. Dah I have to work. Cant get home until 7 pm. Called their 800 number and tried to save their driver another unnecessary trip. I will not be home before 7pm. I requested the package be held at a local UPS station so I can just go there tomorrow to pick it up. Their employees recited the same party lines that the shipper put a restriction that wont allow the package to be held. Asked what time their driver will be delivering. They give a time of 9 am to 7pm. So they are essentially telling me to take a day off to wait for this package? Such *** Why should I even bother to call? Have their driver make another unnecessary trip!

Having the same problem.

I am notified of a delivery tomorrow but I am in Turkey on vacation. Tried to reschedule delivery but, after typing in my complete personal database to join their Your Choice system, it says I an ineligible to register, for some reason.

It then gives a US number to call. It is a UK delivery from a Swiss sender.

Global company? Bunch of Fuckwits.
