Ups - Package Review from Kansas City, Missouri

I ordered three items on line on 12/3/2014. I received the first item in the morning on 12/08/2014 from Fex Ex which they ring the door and knock on the door. The second item was delivered that evening was left on the porch in between the screen door , and I got this package when I got home. However, the third package was delivered 12/09/2014 and supposedly at 5:59pm I was in the house. I didn't here a truck nor did the door bell or knock on the door. At about, 7:30pm my door bell rang and knocking at the door I went to the door nothing. I get a email at 8:08 pm stating the package had been delivered to the porch , so I go looking out side and found nothing. I call UPS and all they can say is I need to call the merchant and then they can call them. The package was never delivered to this address. It makes me mad, because people are not been accountable for their actions. I know that I am not the first person this happen too and will not be the last.

Where do I start?! Package was to be delivered 12/9 when I checked tracking it stated it was mis-sorted and delivered the next day. 12/10 stated it was out for delivery starting at 2am. The driver was in my neighborhood at 11am no delivery. 545pm I called UPS and was GUARANTEED by the rep that my package would be delivered by 7pm and that it was on a different truck than the one I saw at 11am. At 643pm it was returned to warehouse. I have a print out of the screen from UPS showing it was out for delivery and the screen shot of when it changed when it was scanned back in at 643pm. Today some biach had the nerve to tell me it was NEVER scheduled for delivery and they show no record of it being out for deliver. I indicated that I have proof from the UPS website showing otherwise. I was told that a manager from local dispatch would call me within 1 hour. 2 hours later I finally get a call however I missed the call. Of course the manager leaves the vaguest message ever and no call back number. My package finally arrives, driver comes to my front door chatting on his phone via blue tooth as he walks up my front yard to my house. I have been lied to & received nothing but runarounds from customer service. Seems as if no one can or will provide a straight answer as to why my package rode around on a truck all day on 12/10 when I have proof it was on a truck! Additionally on 12/4 I had 2 packages delivered by UPS and the driver didn't even bother to ring the doorbell and just dumped the packages. Fortunately I had heard the truck and went to check and see if they had come and there were the 2 packages in the middle of my porch. I personally wouldn't be so pissed at UPS if they provided decent answers and didn't lie and also try to hide the fact that my package was out for delivery all day on 12/10. They knew exactly why I wanted the manager to call me and leaving a message stating we are calling about your package. They provided no additional information regarding my package and essentially told me what was on their ups.com website. Overall the people I have dealt with were all inept at their job. Their twitter page is useless, the email team at help.ups.com is useless as well as the online chat and 800#. I had a completely different encounter with FedEx this week and the experience has been NIGHT and DAY with FedEx in the WIN column. The sad part is I had a classmate who worked for UPS and was a manger and he would brag about how UPS would go above and beyond in the name of customer service. It has either gone down hill since we were in classes or he was on company crack or was lying! I have low expectations of the post office but UPS is now on the list. Also 3 of the last 6 packages delivered this year by UPS have arrived with crushed boxes, thank goodness no insurance claim needed to be processed.

Ups: Shipment delayed and delivery depends on driver's will

Ups customer service is the weirdest I ever came across. they wanted my signature for my shipment and made a failed delivery attempt. I talked with them and the lady said the driver will make 3 attempts--- she cannot tell when, you cannot specify when the driver should come (not even a time range in hours), you cannot contact anyone and ask an approximate delivery time. Basically, if you want your stuff, leave your work, just stay home for next 2 days, the driver will come... It's like they are doing a favor by delivering your stuff to you... I would discourage everyone to use Ups, especially for things that you care about....

UPS in Brossard, Quebec - Unable to delivery

My shipment was received at the nearest UPS store on Monday. It was supposed to be delivered the very same day. The date was then changed for Wednesday due to 'severe weather conditions', although it was sunny out. On Wednesday, I waited impatiently to receive my package. At 10pm I received an email notifying me that I would receive my package Thursday. I then called them twice to be sure I would receive my package. They assured me that it was in the truck for delivery so I would be receiving it, no doubt. I was a bit skeptic as this had happened Wednesday but decided to wait and see. What do you know, 10pm I receive an email saying that my package was delayed due to 'severe weather conditions'. Not only that, but their offices are closed in Canada so I cannot get into contact with anyone. Worst delivery experience I have ever had. I don't even have an expected delivery date. I just feel like screaming!

UPS in Bel Air, Maryland - Tell your drivers to knock on the customers door!!! They're taking everyone's packages to the leasing office because it's easier for them and the customer has no idea where they're package is!!!!!

Whoever is employer over the UPS drivers in and around Bel Air Md. please let your drivers know that they actually have to knock on the door of the customer before they leave a sticky notice on the door saying they've attempted to drop off but no one was home! I paid extra money to have my shipment come in three days because I needed it by tomorrow! I waited right by the door all day only to look out my window to see the UPS driver getting in the truck to drive away with my package! Once again, I was sitting right next to my front door and no one knocked. I opened up my front door and there was a sticky note saying I wasn't home. I went out front right when he was about to pull off and there's no way he didn't see me but he pulled off anyway! Knowing that I still needed my package by tomorrow, I called UPS in an attempt for them to get that driver to turn around and come back. I had to wait over an hour for a UPS person in my area to call me back! Only to find out that the driver took my package to the leasing office where I live. Luckily I found this information out right before they were about to close but there was nothing at all on the ticket left on my door saying that that's where my package went, in fact it said that they were going to attempt to deliver it to me again. Now here's where it gets interesting... When I arrived at the leasing office to pick up my package there was a ton of UPS packages sitting in there. I asked the guy working there about it and he said (and I hadn't even told him what happened to me) that the UPS drivers never knock on the doors because it's easier for them to just drop all the packages off at the leasing center. He said that many people have complained that they were home all day so they can receive they're package only to never receive it and find a note on they're door saying the UPS driver tried to leave it but they weren't home. And there was nothing that told them it was at the leasing office so they would continue to wait day after day for a next attempt that would never even happen! Part of those drivers job is to KNOCK on the door. That's what they get paid for. So would someone please crack down on them about this because evidently they've been doing this a lot in my neighborhood!

Don't ever use ups

ups has got to be ran by rejects from all other shipping companys... ups can't get it even close to usps on tracking and shipping times. if you need to ship a package and ups is the only shipping service , you would be better off to strap your package to the back of a turtle, and point it in the right direction then to use ups. the best advice i can give to ups is to start over with a new company and try to copy usps. i have decided to not only stop using ups for my shipping needs, but i will not purchase anything from a vender that only offers ups shipping.

I missed three delivery attempts due to late work hours...However UPS has a Drop Center in my neighborhood...usually my orders are left at the local vendor for seven days before it is sent back....My package never showed up at the center as my previous orders had...and i was notified that it was returned by the store i ordered from.....I called UPS and the lady told me the store did'nt allow for my package to be left there...BS it has never been an issue...Thank You for making me pay a little more to USPS...... WILL BE REFERRING ALL VENDORS NOT TO USE YOU TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES.....THANK YOU

UPS picked up my package on Wednesdsy and San Pablo left it behind for 4 days until Sunday. It's really nice getting a email saying sorry we left the station that your package. Are they serious? The package was supposed to be in South Carolina yesterday 12/10. As of today the package is still showing no tracking from San Pablo to the Greensboro's hub. No guarantee when it will be delivered. Way to go UPS thanks for missing our granddaughters first birthday. Very unhappy with UPS at this point. Oh, I also forgot to mention, the did not deliver an overnight package on time. The package left from Santa Cruz and was hung up in San Francisco and did not get delivered next day air. What's going on? Thanks UPS for missing two birthdays are you conveniently leaving the package behind at the station. There's no excuse for this *** service, SHIPPING IS YOUR JOB.

My Package is sitting San Pablo since it's arrival on Jan 29th 2018 7:00 AM PST. It's been 2 days and 12 hours and no movement.

It's weird being delivery city and San Pablo are in same Contra Costa county.
