Ups - Dvd Player Shipping Review from Greenville, Michigan

I use ebay quite often and many oeople insist on using ups and I have no idea why. They are expensive, they dont deliver on weekends and their timing is less than satisfying most of the time. Of the three main parcels services ups has disappointed me more times than not. The most recent; I bought a dvd player and it said it was picked up on a sat.12/20/14 It did not move until the following mon, then it moved until 12/24/14 where it has sat since 430 am on Christmas eve. It is now friday 12/26/14 at 8:45 am and the *** thing still hasnt moved. It was supposed to be a Christmas present and I buy the item with ample time to get here. Ups, your timing sucks, the fact you dont deliver to my area on sat. Is pathetic. I also, this past christmas week had a package that said it was delivered and I was home all day and know it had not been. I call customer service and the lady tells me to contact the seller of the item. How the *** is it the sellers fault when you *** offs say you delivered a package and you did not. The next day, ill be damned if it wasnt dropped off with another package that was due. Your "top notch" driver must have said he delivered but actually forgot to deliver it. Bravo. Your entire staff is incapable of their daily duties to the public for which they work. I put in a request for every package I buy for someone to use a different carrier. UPS is the worst option PERIOD.

Sent several packages to friends and family. One of the boxes was CLEARLY marked as "fragile".

I gave my package to the lady behind the counter and she asked if I padded it enough. She then promptly drops the package into a cart. Lady behind the counter was obnoxious and rude. I also paid for 2 day shipping.

Package took a week to get to the destination. It was a Christmas gift and, although I did not want to have to ask, I asked the recipient to open it.

The retired candle holders I sent were shattered and the box crushed. Don't go to the post office in Caldwell, ID...

UPS in Cleveland, Ohio - Middle of Driveway

Yesterday a package came from UPS. I've been very excited for this particular package, the shipping was quick, great. But what really got me is I never knew it was delivered until I went outside. They didn't notify the delivery through any means at all. My only indication it was delivered was me going outside and seeing that they placed it IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVEWAY! Think about that for a second. Nothing stopped a car from rolling over it (the package was full of powder and glass, so that wouldn't have been any fun) or a random person from taking it. If you are considering shipping by way of UPS I highly recommend against it. No notification, nobody came to the door to tell me it came, no emails, texts or calls... Despicable.

UPS in North York, Ontario - THEY NEVER SHOW UP AND SAY THEY DO!!!

I called for a pick up at my work for next day delivery, confirmed address, phone number etc, good to go.. next day.. nothing, no driver showed up at all, box was still there by end of day. I called UPS, they said the driver stated that the "package wasn't ready" ARE YOU KIDDING it is boxed ,taped, and has an electronic sticker on it ready to go! HE never showed up. Again I requested a pick up for the following day, and again the same thing happened. I called again today, and said that they are going to pick up the package TODAY and NOT charge me because this is ridiculous. they said he would be here before 4pm. it is currently 3:57pm and my package is still sitting here. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! Should they fail to show up today, I will be sending a personal letter to the company and will no longer request services from them. This is a bunch of BS.

I'd never heard of UPS MI till this holiday season when 2 things I ordered online were shipped through them. Both packages took almost 2 weeks to get to me. One package is still sitting at my PO because there is postage due on it. I've always been satisfied with UPS...

Every single time I order something off amazon and its being delivered through UPS we NEVER get the package on time. Right now I'm currently waiting on a package that was supposed to be delivered the 19th of December and now its the 22nd and my package is still in the same place it was for the last 3 days. On the tracking status its been out for delivery for 3 days. And its literally only 4 towns over, maybe a 45 minute drive.

I ordered a item from hsn dec ,, for guaranteed delivery dec 24 now its dec 29th like the package is moving snail mail.. I will never use them again for any dervice,, this happens at xmas as usual they take on too much..

DRIVERS GET PAID TO DROP IT OFF AT YOUR DOOR AND IF YOUR NOT HOME THEN THEY SHOULD LEAVE A STICKER....ON YOUR DOOR NOT HAPPENING HERE ON EISHOWER DR. THEY DUMP IN THE OFFICE AND THE TENANT NEVER KNOWS WHERE OR IF THEY HAVE A PACKAGE. BOXES AND PACKAGES CAN SIT ON THE FLOOR FOR DAYS AND WEEKS. THIS IS NOT WHAT THE SENDER PAID UPS FOR. UPS in North Brunswick, New Jersey - Lost/Stolen package, poor customer service.

I purchased my son a laptop for Christmas. I stood home from work to retrieve the package as a signature was required upon delivery. On Day 1 the UPS driver claimed that my address was incorrect/invalid and they were unable to deliver the package. Address was confirmed as correct with the seller and UPS customer service so I don't know what happened. On Day 2 UPS driver claimed that nobody was home to retrieve the package which is incorrect. I live in a small apartment and would have heard UPS but they never came or even left a note stating they tried to make a delivery. I was home all day! I called UPS that night and they were unable to locate my package. I asked UPS to hold my package when they found it as they clearly had problems delivering it and I would pick it up. I was assured they would call me for pick-up, instead a 3rd attempt to deliver the package was made to the WRONG address. Some stranger signed for my package at an unknown address and now my $600 purchase is nowhere to be found and my son will not have his Christmas gift on Christmas morning. UPS customer service is terrible, they did absolutely NOTHING to help rectify the situation even though their driver screwed up on 3 separate occasions. I'm beyond upset and UPS doesn't seem to care. I spent several hours on the phone with their customer service and nothing was done for me.

yes I agree ups is a piece of sh...e , I order a ps4 for a Christmas gift from best buy and they can do anything right now , I want to cancel my order from best buy and get my refund but I cant get it because my package is under investigation and is going to take around 7 to 10 days . so my son is not going to get his present on chrismas.

UPS in Rossville, Georgia - Did not deliver on guaranteed time

Had a customer ups overnight air a check to us. Our customer paid extra and now can file for reimbursement. Where is my compensation? ????? You customer service is lousy. You should be ashamed of yourself for stealing! I should have used fed ex. Believe you me I will go out of my way to let people know how little you care about what actually do (or should I say don't do) We were depending on that money - just imagine Mr. UPS President if you did mot get paid. One of your customer service people actually laughed when I was explaining how important this was. DO NOT EVER PAY THESE PEOPLE FOR OVERNIGHT AIR! THEY ARE THIEVES.

Please do explain to me how their being late on a service makes them thieves. If a guarantee is not met, then you get your money refunded to you. That's not theft.

For your information I never got my "guaranteed "package and I'm getting jacked around about a refund. MY TIME IS MONEY THEREFORE THEY ARE THIEVES!

They throw the word "guarantee "around very losely. I've spent hours talking to idiots that can barely speak English and the only they say is we "GUARANTEE " you your money back and until I have it in my hands they are thieves!

Out of curiosity, how far off was the delivery? When was it guaranteed for, and when did it arrive?

Also, when it comes to getting reimbursed, they start an investigation which can take up to 8 business days to complete. You'd be amazed by how many people try to make claims about lost, late, or damaged packages when UPS is not the one at fault.

Most recently, we got a call from a woman who said that the package that was supposedly delivered yesterday morning was nowhere to be found. It turned out that her husband had picked it up on his way to work, so the package was in fact received.

Another example that happens quite often is when a package will be delivered to and signed for, but the person who receives the package steals it, misplaces it, or doesn't tell anyone it was received.

Back to the point though, if UPS just gave money out whenever someone claimed they hadn't received a package on time, they'd be losing all sorts of money. In your case, it sounds like you have a legitimate claim, so just be patient.

They'll finish their investigation and refund you your money. It's just not an instantaneous thing.
