UPS in Edinburgh, Edinburgh, City Of - WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD

1.3
Details
So, my package arrived and I had to pay some custom fees. After I miss the three deliveries for some confusion of the payment then I ask for it to be rescheduled for wednesday. On wednesday, nobody shows up. I call the customer service and I change the redelivery for friday. The driver comes to deliver on thursday and on friday nobody shows up!!!! Then they change it to Saturday and that *** of a driver says he tried to deliver and nobody came. AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE just keeps telling *** lies to me. People keep telling me different stuff. Everyone in that company is an ***. I will never use UPS and I hope others won't as well, so at least there is a chance this company might go to ***.

How Many Ways Can UPS lie...let me count a few

Details
Recently we used UPS to ship a WiiU to our newly married 24 year old son (who now lives 12 hours from us). This was going to be our first Christmas and His birthday apart. My wife is battling cancer and we were not able to make the journey. The item was packed according to UPS standards through a Shipping Agent. It was a box with in a box and all the required packing. Spent the extra money to buy insurance. My son received the gift in time for his birthday. He was surprised and excited. The unit was tested before shipping. He hooked up the system and the WiiU unit burnt the first of 2 game discs included with the system. My son went to a tech school and worked for an electronics company. He knows his stuff. He knew right away the laser was not working properly. He made some adjustments that would not violate the warranty and tried another disc. It did the same. We called UPS. We were informed that an Agent would contact us by the close of business the next day to come and do an inspection. The next day came and went and no call. We waited and about a week later I called. They said they had called my son no response. I had them repeat the number and two digits were switched. I corrected the number and they called. But instead of sending out an Agent, they sent my son a damage email form and asked him to take photos. He was then informed that a decision would be made in 3 days. 3 days came and went and no response. I called UPS back and was told that the I would have to contact the Shipper for their response. Are you kidding me? It is my package and that is not what we were told. I called the Shipper and they said yes, they got the response and were waiting for us to contact them. Oh boy! The Shipper then said our claim had been denied (get this) because after several calls and an Agent was not given access to the package. I immediately called UPS back and they said the same rehearsed speech...I would have to take it up with the Shipper. They would NOT even let me verify if their contact information had been corrected. I called the Shipper back and they said they would file a follow up claim. Now I wait again. So along with my concern for my wife's battle with cancer (treatments that are $35,000/each) I have to worry about a gift that we saved up for that we lovingly wanted to give our son something nice and what he wanted....I've got to haggle for a $300 settlement. Why bother charging customers for added Insurance if they are not going to pay up? Why bother following their packing rules if they are not going to pay up? Why bother paying extra for UPS and not get first class service? UPS should be honest and just have us sign a disclaimer that says, "Ship at your own risk!" What can BROWN do for me?!!!! Please pay up.

UPS breaks everything
I sold a golf club on Ebay. I shipped it to my customer in Houston Tx from Massachusetts. When the box arrived my customer opened it and the shaft was snapped in two. The shaft was a Matrix Red Tie shaft that cost $320- I selected the optional declared value at an additional cost. UPS has been jerking me around for well over a week. They refuse to take responsibility for what they broke. Amazingly I ordered two golf shafts from a company in Ill. The box arrived and low and behold both shafts were snapped in two like King Kong gave them a karate chop. In my opinion they are terrible. Next time I will ship w/ FedEx or USPS.

UPS in Richmond, California - They Lose My Package, But Keep Saying it is Out for Delivery!

5.0
Details
I ordered a 115 lb. bench sander from Northern Tool. It shipped via UPS on December 30th. On the way to California where I live, they had a "mechanical problem" that caused a couple of days delay. Then it was listed as Out for Delivery a few days later. A couple of days after that I called the local warehouse to ask what was going on. They said that the Out for Delivery status "meant nothing;" it was a "logical scan" by the computer. So the computer decided it should be out for delivery that day because that was the scheduled delivery date. In reality they did not even have the unit at the warehouse, and had no idea where it was. So this is why I have had problems like this in the past! Internally the company knows the status of a package (in this care still "in transit"), but externally they tell you what you want to hear. You make plans based on the supposed delivery, only to not get it and be told by the delivery guy that it is not listed as being on his truck. Finally Northern Tools refunded my money (they say) on January 22nd. Meanwhile UPS tracking alternates between the package being Out for Delivery or Left in the Warehouse without any explanation as to why they choose to ignore their contractual obligations to deliver the package and just left it sit. What arrogance! What contempt for the shipper and the person waiting for the package! So be aware that UPS tracking status sometimes means nothing.

UPS in Macon, Georgia - Sex in the delivery truck in front of my children!!!!!!

5.0
Details
We were wondering why there was a UPS truck parked in a shaded area behind our school. So as we were walking with our children pass the van we heard somebody inside having sex!!!!! I told the children to move along and we went home. As soon as they were safe inside I went back to the truck to find out who was in the van and what they were doing. I could hear the noises and I walked around and the side door was open and I quietly climbed in without making noise and peeked in the back they were going at it! She was the ugly crack *** in the neighborhood and I started to yell GET OUT OF HERE YOUR IN FRONT OF A SCHOOL WITH CHILDREN WALKING BY!!!!! and the driver looked up at me and kept *** her and she started cursing me out so I climbed all the way in and started throwing packages at them but they didn't care so I took out my camera phone and got pictures of them and the driver just kept telling me GO AWAY and the *** started throwing packages at me so I found a bottle of coke and shook it up and sprayed it all over them and then they stopped!!!! that's what a mom has to do in the neighborhood these days!!!!!!!

Ups - Theft Issue Review from New Orleans, Louisiana

Details
UPS IS STEALING ITEMS OUT OF BOXES. UPS IS COMMITING FEDERAL OFFENSES. My boyfriend had sent a big box of my things from PA to NOLA. When the box arrived it was In a different box from the original with only a few of my items in it. The 2 most expensive items were missing a brand new north face jacket and another new jacket I had gotten for christmas. These jackets were replaced with powder and a pair of boots. SO NOT INLY IS UPS COMMITING FEDERAL OFFENSES but they are so good at it that they are rewrapping the boxes and putting in items to make it weighs the same. I'm not sure about yAll but that sounds like this company has been doing this for a while. NOBODY has tried to help. NOBODY will give me the names of the supervisors that were on duty. and NOBODY has expressed any concern what so ever, this seems to happen a lot . I don't want money and no I shouldn't have insured my stuff just because your employees are criminals. Nothig would have broken. UPS IS CORRUPT SND CRIMINAL

UPS in Queens, New York - The representative who I spoke to on the phone hung up on me without any varification at all.

My address was not being processed correctly in the system and even when I tried to change it or correct it, it still would not recognize it. I called customer service and it only gave me an option to change my delivery option to a pick up. Then the UPS store called me and I told the man who I wanted it to be delivered but that my address wasn't working. He simply asked for my apartment number and then hung up on me immediately after my answer. I called back and he acted as if he had done nothing wrong.

UPS delivery service sucks

Details
Goods were despatched by retailer after Christmas & had so far taken at least three weeks to arrive. Lots of promises of just another day or so. Expected the delivery during today, sat in quiet house reading a book. At lunch time when passing front door I found a 'missed your delivery notice' on front mat. No possible way that I missed bell or a knock on door. I am told that their delivery system consists of a man on a bike delivering postcards and all the goods are dumped at a local shops for the receipient to collect. Asking around the nieghbours say a man with a yellow vest on a bike came up my drive about the time of the supposed delivery and their CCTVs show this man had no parcels with him unless they were small enough to fit into a haversack. I went to collect my parcel from the newsagent after the time I was told it would be available - 1900hrs and before they shut at 19.30hrs; only to be told that my bus-pass was not one of their valid ID even thought I had the UPS 'missed you' slip now I have to go back tomorrow with a passport. In future I will always ask if the people that I am considering buying from intend using UPS. I will NEVER AGAIN buy from a source which uses UPS no matter how attractive the price/condition or terms are.
