Rude employees

I have done business with UPS in the past and always held my tonque... like the time my fragile package was dropped from the UPS truck, from the floor of the truck, down a few entry/exit stairs of the truck, then all the way down to the cement with a loud crash. I was waiting there for the truck and saw this happen. I don't know if it was kicked down or fell down as I did not have a good view of the driver's feet at the time. The package was thankfully very well-packaged and the item inside was not damaged. not this time though, I have to say something because my blood is boiling. On 9.15.2015 am I called the UPS main number in Clovis California. I was being sent a package and the tracking read that the package showed as had been delivered to the address I had specified at 2119 hrs (yes, at night), that is 9:19 p.m. the night before. I was about an hour away and I called the address (a relative lives there), no package. There is another house at the address, however, I was an hour away and was unable to reach anybody at that house by phone. My intent on calling UPS was to see if the UPS office could call the employee who made the delivery and find out exactly where he had dropped off the package (containing a precious Cartier gem I had bought as a birthday present for a friend). I was directed to call 559.442.XXXX as that department handles the drivers, as I was told by the initial UPS employee. I called the number and spoke with a "Diane", explained the situation to her and asked if she could contact the driver. She became very rude and defensive and went off about God knows what to me. I remained calm and polite and told her that all I was calling about was to ask if she could contact the driver of the night before and ask him exactly where the he had put the package. She replied something like "oh sure" and hung up on me! of course she did not get my phone number or called me back, nothing. rude rude rude! The UPS drivers have been told over and over on previous mis-deliveries where the right house was at, it never did any good as in this case as well. I am luckier than most here because I did receive my item by driving 2 hours back and forth and retrieving it from the wrong house that UPS delivered it to, as usual. I am notifying my suppliers that I will no longer receive or send anything via UPS, suggest that they do the same, and sending them this website page link so they can see why. I am now going to have all my deliveries done by fedex (how could they be worse?) for medium to large items and the USPS for smaller items.

UPS

UPS is really not a good company to ship with. in my experience they lost our first package and with the second package, it was not delivered next day like the company paid for. I called customer service several times and got lie after lie. I called the ups facility in colorado springs and the lady that answered the phone was so rude and all she did was lie. The customer service people need to be retrained to actually tell customers the truth. i bet they still dont know where our fist package is

Soggy packages

I have been ordering things for Christmas and last night after dark 3 packages were placed on my porch. No one knocked or alerted me that they were there. Around 11:00 I decided to check the locks and happened to look outside and there were 3 boxes on my porch. I was so annoyed. When I brought them in they were wet and soggy. If I had not looked out someone could have stolen my packages or they could have been ruined sitting there overnight. When UPS delivers packages they should take the time to at least knock on the door to alert the person that packages are out there. I always get my packages after DARK. Why? What happened to delivery in the day time? I was very upset and had to write this note to let you know. Get your act together and be aware. Luckily my packages were okay. But I am still annoyed. Thx

You're lucky they supposedly left mine at my door and I never received it. So either someone stole it, they lost it or maybe the driver stole?

Ups Shipping Review

So how come i paid extra for 3-5 days shipping and now it says you received it 12-21 and it will not get here until 12-30! My daughter may be gone to Costa Rica. Should have been here by xmas. So sad

When your passport is "mis-sorted"

On Thursday, we got applied for a passport and it was sent by UPS overnight from NH to MA. While tracking it on Friday it said that the package was "mis-sorted" and would be delivered the next business day- which was Monday.

My daughter had travel plans on Sunday with a school group and couldn't miss her flight!

I spoke to a supervisor she said the package was in a container in NH and we couldn't go get it but and upgraded the package to "overnight air" which meant I would get it on Sat. morning. When I checked tracking on Sat morning the package had traveled to Kentucky and then Logan airport in Boston but delivery was unknown. I spoke to an special agent who said it was on it's way from Ashland and I should keep checking the on-line status.

As soon as I hung up, the delivery was changed to Monday. I called back and spoke to a supervisor who said she couldn't get through to Logan airport and would call me back within an hour. I didn't hear back from her. I called back and spent 55 minutes on hold waiting for a supervisor.

This person told me that the package was in Ashland, MA (the next town over from where I live) but she couldn't get in touch with anyone and the package would come Monday and that we weren't upgraded to Saturday delivery. I sent my husband over to check out the facility in Ashland but it was closed up tight. I asked for her supervisor who finally understood the importance of the situation. She said the package was enroute to Ashland and even though they were closed, they would send someone in to retrieve the package and I could go pick it up.

While I was waiting for the call back with the time, the package showed up at our house- 11:20 am. The most stressful 48 hours of my life.

Very Bad service

UPS has my package from 2 weeks!!!! they are giving lame reasons that the driver does not have the route on his schedule or something like that. I have been making several calls.(atleast 5 calls) But UPS does not really seem to care. I am just so annoyed and pissed off. two weeks is really heights now. I am just frustrated for the poor service. And waiting on call for ages to inquire about my package is even more annoying(that too on my exams week is going on :( ) I am very stressed out because of ups.

If you absolutely positively want to make sure a package is delivered late and with poor service, use UPS. They are the worst package delivery company on earth.

In our area of Montana UPS has an agreement with USPS to receive and deliver some packages for them, the problem is that while UPS will leave a package, the USPS won't and that means we can only get our packages on weekends. Very bad business practice. We'll start requesting FedEx.

Pissed off from UPS delivery

UPS lost my sons passport and not promised 2 day shipping.When I called after 2 days they reported that passport was lost.They even don't care to inform customer that their package is lost .I did constant follow up to know the status.Called 5-6 time to get status. They sent passport to Nevada and later on they found it.So i expected delivery next day morning as they already late.But UPS do not care about customer .After calling so many times as well passport not delivered next day.What a shame.I will never go for UPS again.I am still waiting for passport after 7 days.Tired from doing follow up as well.

Ups Shipping Review from Grove, Oklahoma

I have Amazon prime and ordered a reborn doll there for my sister, she is sick and its her birthday and I want to get her something special on last friday. I was told based on the weekend and two day shipping that the doll would be in TODAY, at my HOUSE. I was like "Oh, cool it will be here just in time for her bday on Tuesday." But then I saw the dreaded UPS logo saying they were bringing it to my damned house. I havocily kept checking the UPS website because I have had family in the past have things LOST through them numerous times OR damaged. But everything seemed to be going good. So it seemed normal pace that it was coming and I was happy....till this morning that is. I checked the website AND Amazon and it said the doll was being held because they didn't get the shipping info till Sunday but thats not a work day for them. I didn't know they didn't process things on weekends and didn't know they held stuff at processing plants. But Amazon is still saying its coming today which it clearly is not from what the UPS website says. Plus it has not budged from OKC since 4:39 a.m.! I have called 3 times to demand my package and I was told it takes two days to get things shipped to homes. Plus also they were quite rude and blamed Amazon prime for lieing to me and Amazon is blaming them. Its a whole he said she said bunch of *** basically. I was mad because now their holding a 90 dollar doll in OKC and I get it Wednesday instead of today which was my sisters birthday!! I had to go to my sisters party empty handed, look like an *** and hurt my little 10 year old sister! Go you *** UPS! Making people look like idiots and making little girls cry. Bravo!

Waiting for my next day package to be delevered.it was due by 10.30 am.its now 3.30 .i called the cust ser dept.i was advise i would recive a call back with in the hour.so 2 hours later still no call back.i call back and was advise they call me back.they advised my package id delayed 3 hours due to a power outage.i replyed it now 4 hours late.i asked speek to a superviser was placed me on hold for over 30 minutes waiting fot this super who never picked up.the cust support came back on saying my package will be her by 5.00 .and would i like to talk to the super.my reply i have been waiting for over 30 minutes.ups your a zero in my book

UPS- expect the worst service

UPS made me wait the whole day and never came to collect my parcel. When I contacted them the manger/supervisor told me, that on the system it says my parcel was not ready when the driver arrived. I told her that this was not true and no one came to collect the parcel. She promised, that she will personally ensure that someone from the depot will call us within the hour. No call came, and few days on no one came to collect the parcel. We've now sent it with DHL. Now I hear from several people, that they had similar experience with UPS.

I sent a package via UPS store here in Atlantic BLvd. Jacksonville, Fl. The package never made it. It was sent to Puerto Rico on October 29, 2015. UPS store decides to send it via USPS. They say I have to talk to USPS. USPS says I have to talk to UPS. Well after fighting on the ping pong table I decided to ask UPS if they can honor the postage for me, at least. They sent me back to USPS, telling me it was their problem.. AGAIN! My response was them to keep my 61 dollars that I paid for my lost item and use it for Holloween on their kids. By golly! I will never use UPS store again..................ever!
