UPS in London, England - AFTER NOT DELIVERING OUR ORDER, I HAD TO CHASE ITS WHEREABOUTS ALL BECAUSE CARD WAS DECLINED, WE WERE NEVER INFORMED. I PAID WITH A DIFFERENT CARD AND HAD TO WAIT OVER SEVEN DAYS FOR A INVOICE VIA EM

DRIVER PICKED UP PACKAGE, AND APPARENTLY FORGOT THE PAPERWORK ALSO GAVE NO RECEIPT, THEN AFTER NOT DELIVERING OUR ORDER, I HAD TO CHASE ITS WHEREABOUTS AND EVENTUALLY I WAS TOLD THE PARCEL WAS IN THE VICINITY BUT BECAUSE OUR CARD WAS DECLINED THEY COULD NOT DELIVER IT, WE WERE NEVER INFORMED OF THIS UNTIL I CHASED IT. I THEN PAID WITH A DIFFERENT CARD AND PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED WITHIN THE HOUR. NO RECEIPT OR INVOICE JUST A TRACKING NUMBER WHICH WAS NO GOOD NOW. I THEN HAD TO KEEP PHONING EVERY DAY AS I WAS TOLD BY VARIOUS UPS STAFF VARIOUS DAYS THAT I COULD GET AN INVOICE EMAILED TO MYSELF. I WAS EVENTUALLY TOLD 7 WORKING DAYS. I FINALLY GOT THE INVOICE. NOW I AM TOLD UPS IS CLAIMING WE OWE AN OUTSTANDING PAYMENT OF £24. AS APPARENTLY ONLY £31.31 WAS PAID. AS WE PAID WITH ANOTHER CARD MY GUESS IS THAT UPS DID TAKE A PAYMENT FROM OUR ORIGINAL CARD PAYMENT BEING £31.31 AND THEN TOOK A FULL AMOUNT FROM OUR OTHER CARD FOR FULL PAYMENT OF £54.31. SO, I THINK UPS OWES US A REIMBURSEMENT OF £31.31. AFTER ALL THIS HEADACHE WITH UPS DELIVERY STAFF AND OFFICE STAFF, I WILL NEVER APPROACH SUCH A DYSFUNCTIONAL COMPANY AGAIN. A UPS medium sized truck just ran a red light on 20th street on Cleveland Tennessee Tag no p394911 Indiana tags. I avoided collision by slamming on my brakes. He didn't even flow down for the light .my light was green and cars had gone through in front of me when he came barreling through. The *** didn't even slow down. He's a wreck ready to happen.

I scheduled a pickup for return service. I leave the box next to my front door and put a little sticky note on the box saying it was "for UPS" because I have USPS and FedEx coming by the same day too. I see the Big UPS truck back its way up my driveway, like you really couldn't walk up?? That's not really bothering me though. What IS bothering me is that they *** driver left trash at my FRONT DOOR! He crumpled up the sticky note, and just threw it on my front door. Then he peels the return service delivery sticker, slaps it on the box, then has the balls to leave the remainder of the sticker AT MY FRONT DOOR ON THE FLOOR!! How is that good business practice?? You don't come to someone's property and just trash it! Never going to have UPS deliver my packages anymore. These guys really don't know what is decent customer service.

The remainder of the sticker is a reciept. Also the ups guy took the box and left the post it note that you left outside your door.

He isn't a garbage man. It's your note at your house.

UPS in Staffordshire, England - Poor service

I wanted to arrange to return a parcel with a prepaid returns label. As instructed I telephoned UPS call centre on a Tuesday, as the automated system did not recognise my details I spoke to an operative. She took my details & I firmed me that collection would be that day before 7pm. Nobody came. I then telephoned UPS on Wednesday & this time the automated service recognised my details & arranged collection for Thursday. Thursday afternoon I receive a telephone call to say the driver had gone home ill so they were unlikely to collect parcel that day. They arranged to collect the following day ( Friday ). Nobody came. I rang customer services again who said they appologise for the issues but if I wanted the parcel collecting on the Friday I should have made arrangements!! They conveniently had no record of the failed collection dates ( although they managed to record my details). The call centre then informed me the new collection date would be Monday 9am - 1pm. At 12pm I receive a telephone call from UPS ( local centre ) asking for my house number. I ask how far away the driver is only to be told collection can be anytime until 7pm! I inform them that their call centre had made arrangements for a 9-1 collection dye to all the errors & I was told that the call centre should not name those arrangements for the local centres! As I write this the time is 3pm Monday & I am still waiting for my parcel to be collected. If it's not returned to the sender soon I will be charged. I would not recommend UPS.

UPS in Alamogordo, New Mexico - Rescheduled?

I had a hard date for the delivery of items I purchased for a client, when the day of delivery came, I checked the status of it and it changed to "rescheduled". Is that some *** way of saying they screwed the pooch and won't be able tp stand up to their promised delivery date? I paid for a service, I should get what I paid for. The two people I spoke to about this were like "oh well, nothing I can do". I hate UPS. At least we all know USPS is incompetent, but a company we pay major money to should deliver when they say they will. I lost money on this deal and they have no regrets or remorse for their screw up. Yes, I'm extremely pissed as well as my customer.

UPS in Neenah, Wisconsin - Slow and overpriced

The last two times I have had packages to ship I went with UPS. What a mistake. Not only was I promised delivery dates four days earlier than the package actually arrived they charged $10 more than USPS. Don't even think about them for international shipments. The UPS stores are useless to the point of not being able to conduct transactions needed through UPS and their only advice is to direct you to a UPS shipping office which is miles away. If you need to ship something and stop at UPS take a moment, breathe, and go to the post office or FedEx.

Snowed in RI on Monday...not terrible but fairly messy. Package scheduled for Tuesday delivery re-scheduled (understandably) for Wednesday. Didn't arrive Wednesday. Didn't arrive Thursday. Didn't arrive Friday. Latest message says Monday delivery "may" be further delayed, all due to "severe weather conditions beyond their control". Mind you, there has been no severe weather since Feb 2. Clearly, UPS in Rhode Island is suffering from a complete breakdown of their already-inefficient delivery system and are apparently running about a week behind, while the company and its customer service people hide behind the "severe weather" excuse. One of the most disingenuous companies still in business.

I totally agree with you !!! UPS has NO customer service..

Also Getting they next day and next day.my parcel has been in there warehouse since Jan30 .

but will be delivered for sure ''again """ on the Feb 9.and they can't even use a storm story although we are getting 5cm of snow so Monday del not looking good. ....

UPS in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania - Lied about shipping charges

I bought a special wheelchair and called them with the dimensions. Oh yeah we can ship it for $350. Ok so I call when the person brought in. Well they gave me a $500 bill!! $75 for one box!! I had to because the person i bought from is in a wheelchair and I tink they took advantage of us. Shame.....i know it was a quote but to charge me more then $100 is digusting. I paid for insurance because my husband was a driver and I know they have kicked, thrown and threw packages before because their drivers dont care.

The estimate can only be given based on the info you give them.

Once they have the real numbers (size and weight) then you get accurate price.

None one can give an accurate $ amount based in what a customer says (plumber, painter, carpet installer, roof replacement) they have to see the actual diensions to know the exact price.

That is why it is called an ESTIMATE!

UPS doesn't understand what fragile means.

Had a deliver come to me yesterday, that I had spent the day inside my house waiting for - because UPS sent me an email saying that my package had to be signed for. I was making dinner when I saw the UPS truck pull up outside my house, so I got ready to answer the door. I saw the driver walk down our driveway, stand there for a second and then turn around. I figured that he just did the old trick that most UPS drivers do, and when they don't see any sign of someone being home (a car in the driveway) they just leave and say that no one was there to sign. I quickly rushed to get my winter jacket and boots on to tell this guy that there was in fact someone home, and I wanted my package. I walked out my back door and was just about to open our gate and yell at him, when I looked up. My package that was marked with a big orange FRAGILE sticker was sitting on top of our seven foot fence. Instead of coming to the door and knocking, the driver decided to ignore the fragile sticker and put the package up on its side and let it balance there until someone came out to take it. I've already emailed UPS about this, because I'm not impressed. We'll see if they do anything.

They put 3 sticky notes on a Friday, saying they had attempted to deliver 2 times before. Liars and unethical company. They should not be in business. I read the other reviews and they say very similar things. Its unacceptable service... or lack there off. I called them to have the situation rectified but they said that there was absolutely nothing that they can do. I was on the phone for 30minutes waiting to speak to someone that I could officially present my complain and no one ever got back to me. I am very dissapointed and this is not the first time this has happened
