My package is not being delivered today even tho it said it was out for deliver at 430 am. The best part is whyn because of the severe weather.severe weather. Well its Winter in Massachusetts and it maybe cold today but its Sunny blue sky's so its one of the nicest day we've had in a while. So whats so severe, the cold? Then they shouldnt deliver packages in New England or most of the rest of the country were it gets cold. Come on i paid for a service i expect to get what I pay for not made up excuses. I bet the US mail will deliver packages today and tomorrow when it will be actually snowing and cold. Im sick of UPS and there candyass attitude. BOYCOTT UPS. SUPPORT US MAIL

Ups - Package Review from Grande Prairie, Alberta

UPS handed my package over to Purolator who came to apartment building, but because my name was not on the directory, did not buzz the number on the package. I ordered this package so that it would arrive on the week I needed it to. I'm going on holidays and it is impossible for a reschedule. I really wish I had read more reviews on UPS before selecting shipping options when I ordered my item. For now on, I will place in any comments to not use this service if there is not an shipping option, I will place in comments... To buzz the unit number anyways as well. To drive here and drive away without buzzing simply because my name is not on the buzz directory beside the unit number has got to be the stupidest thing ever. Sure sounds like the driver is not the brightest crayon in the box!

UPS?

I didn't get my item on the SCHEDULED delivery date, which was Monday. I called and they are like "oh, okay we'll have it delivered tomorrow for sure". So I wait, nothing on Tuesday. I called again and they say "oh, we will for sure delivery it by tomorrow" and nothing on Wednesday. I called again, angry, and they say there was truck overload (why did mine get left behind?) on Tuesday, driver had family affliction on Wednesday. I took days off from work to receive the item because I couldn't do pick up. I couldn't get another day off, and they said they'll just drop it off, since there is no C.O.D to collect (paid already). Excuse me? Then why didn't you say so in the first place when I told them that I had to take a day off work to receive the item on the SCHEDULED delivery date (Monday)? They apologize, so I let them deliver it the next day, which is Thursday. Did I finally get my item on Thursday? NO! I was left with a invoice and apparently they couldn't deliver it because they couldn't collect C.O.D on arrival, WHICH IS ALREADY PAID. They always over charge, and their GUARANTEED SCHEDULED delivery obviously doesn't work. They lack in everything. They are not recommended if not hated. They have issues. Seriously.

A package I was expecting to recieve Friday was delayed due to weather. Okay, understandable. It was then scheduled to arrive Tuesday between 10:30-4:30. Put a damper on my plans, but still okay. I spent an hour shoveling the front walkway and steps (which we don't normally use) to make sure the delivery driver had safe and easy access to our front door. The delivery driver showed up at 7:33pm and instead of even knocking on the door, he left a "sorry we missed you. Be back tomorrow by 2pm" note on our door! We were home!! So I cancelled my plans for today to ensure I would be home to sign for my package. It showed up at 6:40pm, the driver just carelessly THREW IT into the doorway, said "don't know why I didnt leave it last night." And walked away before I could say anything!! I didn't even sign for it!! For him to just disrespectfully THROW my package was unacceptable. And I will absolutly be filing a formal complaint against this paticular driver!

I purchased a Nordictrack treadmill weighing nearly 400lbs. Upon confirmation of purchase I received a UPS tracking notice stating it would arrive Monday, 2/9/15. This is a VERY large item so I had help on hand that day. At 5pm, after having received NO notification from any party that the shipment would not arrive, I checked the online tracking website only to find out it said "exception...shipment in consignment...". When I called I was informed (for the first time) that UPS SUB's OUT heavy freight??? Then UPS blamed their local sub for refusing the shipment. And after confirming with the sub that they "did NOT refuse any shipment...all UPS has to do is drop it off during regular business hours", UPS then played Alice-in-the-rabbit-hole with me, rerouting my call at least half a dozen times. And each department, LTL and URGENT, refused to claim responsibility for the shipment and nobody that actually touched the shipment ever talked to me. On the second day of calls with UPS, I was finally put through to a supervisor who conferenced me with their San Leandro site to discuss the issue. BOTH women, Shay and Desyre, assured me that they would correct the problem immediately by contacting the sub and getting the shipment out that day. Today I checked in with the SUB, NVC White Glove Services, and was told "we're sorry but UPS is still holding the shipment...only ONE container goes OUT a DAY...yours is scheduled for tomorrow...I'm very sorry" and he could not tell me whether it was UPS or NVC causing the delay but that it's just the way it's going to be?!?! All told, UPS has been HOLDING MY SHIPMENT in a container for a WEEK now! And I still don't know when to schedule more help because i have NO IDEA when the sub will get it and when they will decide to bring it to me?!? Rest assured, I will be telling EVERYONE I KNOW of my experience and warning them NOT to use UPS or any of their subs. I receive a lot of shipped packages and I will now be asking my suppliers who they ship with and refusing to do business with anyone contracted with UPS! This is shameful!

UPS in London, England - AFTER NOT DELIVERING OUR ORDER, I HAD TO CHASE ITS WHEREABOUTS ALL BECAUSE CARD WAS DECLINED, WE WERE NEVER INFORMED. I PAID WITH A DIFFERENT CARD AND HAD TO WAIT OVER SEVEN DAYS FOR A INVOICE VIA EM

DRIVER PICKED UP PACKAGE, AND APPARENTLY FORGOT THE PAPERWORK ALSO GAVE NO RECEIPT, THEN AFTER NOT DELIVERING OUR ORDER, I HAD TO CHASE ITS WHEREABOUTS AND EVENTUALLY I WAS TOLD THE PARCEL WAS IN THE VICINITY BUT BECAUSE OUR CARD WAS DECLINED THEY COULD NOT DELIVER IT, WE WERE NEVER INFORMED OF THIS UNTIL I CHASED IT. I THEN PAID WITH A DIFFERENT CARD AND PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED WITHIN THE HOUR. NO RECEIPT OR INVOICE JUST A TRACKING NUMBER WHICH WAS NO GOOD NOW. I THEN HAD TO KEEP PHONING EVERY DAY AS I WAS TOLD BY VARIOUS UPS STAFF VARIOUS DAYS THAT I COULD GET AN INVOICE EMAILED TO MYSELF. I WAS EVENTUALLY TOLD 7 WORKING DAYS. I FINALLY GOT THE INVOICE. NOW I AM TOLD UPS IS CLAIMING WE OWE AN OUTSTANDING PAYMENT OF £24. AS APPARENTLY ONLY £31.31 WAS PAID. AS WE PAID WITH ANOTHER CARD MY GUESS IS THAT UPS DID TAKE A PAYMENT FROM OUR ORIGINAL CARD PAYMENT BEING £31.31 AND THEN TOOK A FULL AMOUNT FROM OUR OTHER CARD FOR FULL PAYMENT OF £54.31. SO, I THINK UPS OWES US A REIMBURSEMENT OF £31.31. AFTER ALL THIS HEADACHE WITH UPS DELIVERY STAFF AND OFFICE STAFF, I WILL NEVER APPROACH SUCH A DYSFUNCTIONAL COMPANY AGAIN. A UPS medium sized truck just ran a red light on 20th street on Cleveland Tennessee Tag no p394911 Indiana tags. I avoided collision by slamming on my brakes. He didn't even flow down for the light .my light was green and cars had gone through in front of me when he came barreling through. The *** didn't even slow down. He's a wreck ready to happen.

I scheduled a pickup for return service. I leave the box next to my front door and put a little sticky note on the box saying it was "for UPS" because I have USPS and FedEx coming by the same day too. I see the Big UPS truck back its way up my driveway, like you really couldn't walk up?? That's not really bothering me though. What IS bothering me is that they *** driver left trash at my FRONT DOOR! He crumpled up the sticky note, and just threw it on my front door. Then he peels the return service delivery sticker, slaps it on the box, then has the balls to leave the remainder of the sticker AT MY FRONT DOOR ON THE FLOOR!! How is that good business practice?? You don't come to someone's property and just trash it! Never going to have UPS deliver my packages anymore. These guys really don't know what is decent customer service.

The remainder of the sticker is a reciept. Also the ups guy took the box and left the post it note that you left outside your door.

He isn't a garbage man. It's your note at your house.

UPS in Staffordshire, England - Poor service

I wanted to arrange to return a parcel with a prepaid returns label. As instructed I telephoned UPS call centre on a Tuesday, as the automated system did not recognise my details I spoke to an operative. She took my details & I firmed me that collection would be that day before 7pm. Nobody came. I then telephoned UPS on Wednesday & this time the automated service recognised my details & arranged collection for Thursday. Thursday afternoon I receive a telephone call to say the driver had gone home ill so they were unlikely to collect parcel that day. They arranged to collect the following day ( Friday ). Nobody came. I rang customer services again who said they appologise for the issues but if I wanted the parcel collecting on the Friday I should have made arrangements!! They conveniently had no record of the failed collection dates ( although they managed to record my details). The call centre then informed me the new collection date would be Monday 9am - 1pm. At 12pm I receive a telephone call from UPS ( local centre ) asking for my house number. I ask how far away the driver is only to be told collection can be anytime until 7pm! I inform them that their call centre had made arrangements for a 9-1 collection dye to all the errors & I was told that the call centre should not name those arrangements for the local centres! As I write this the time is 3pm Monday & I am still waiting for my parcel to be collected. If it's not returned to the sender soon I will be charged. I would not recommend UPS.
