UPS in Norwalk, Connecticut - Over charged and not informed about true cost at time of shipping

Dropped a package for shipping at ups weighing it only 24lbs (weighed by them) and later they up it to 162lbs cost went from $28.00 to $185.00 We were not informed there would be additional charges Not a fair practice. We were also charged an address correction of $12.50 When the address is exactly the same as on their shipping paper work. If we were informed about the total cost at the time it was dropped off, we would have not shipped the package. The company that received the package said it was also damaged. (I do not know if they filed a claim.)

UPS in Feltham, Hounslow - Rude driver , treat me that he damage my next parcel

service i have received from the delivery driver was ridiculous !!! Driver rang my buzzer and told me to come to his truck. When I got there then I have been told to take parcel by my self because for him it's to heavy and he is not getting paid for delivery to my 1st floor flat. When I told him that I will make complain and I asked him for his details than he put parcel back inside the car and told me that he don't care and he will give parcel to another driver to deliver. I did ask him if he is joking or what and I told him that I took day off from work to get it then he gave parcel to me. Also I have been told that he will remember my address so next time my parcel not going to be delivered in one piece if I make complain about him. That was a service I have received from delivery driver from your company. I decided to write you complain as I won't be using your company just in case your driver remember my address and as he promised he will damage my future parcel i did contact complain department,they email be back that they will contact me in next 24h.its two days later and they did not call me at all...

Very Slow Shipping What a Private Company Does in 1.5 Days, UPS Takes 5+

I am an AVON ISR. My orders used to be shipped via a private delivery company. My orders would be due on Mondays by noon and I would receive them Wednesday before 9:00AM. Now, it takes from Wednesday to Monday for delivery! And it's only SUPPOSED to be here Monday by the END of the day! And worst of all, the packages have been sitting at their facility within my own city since today, Friday. So they sit there Friday, Saturday, Sunday and hopefully will be here by Monday. That is extremely slow! The private delivery company was amazing. My orders went from 1.5 days to 5 days (maybe more!!). I have e-mailed AVON about this. They need to go back to the private delivery company. This is ridiculous. I want to get my customers their AVON faster! I suppose this will just push more people to order from online, which is what AVON wants. This saddens me. UPS obviously needs more trucks and more drivers.

If you look at my online chat with Fredy S. in customer service, please do not be surprised by my online recounting of experiences with your company, and UPS Express in particular. I have received EIGHT packages from throughout the country shipped on thursday and friday, delivered friday and saturday, by USPS and Fed-Ex. yet your company's inability to deliver a package 5 miles over a three day period, even though the weather was fine, and the constant lies of when it would be delivered....They did not deliver a perishable package, which I talked to them at length about, and made my 70 year old parents spend two days at home waiting for a package that they promised would be delivered, but was not. They missed Valentines day and her Birthday....THERE WAS NO "ADVERSE WEATHER" AS CLAIMED, ON THURSDAY A.M. IT WAS IN WATERTOWN, MA..THE TOWN NEXT TO CAMBRIDGE (DELIVERY ADDRESS)...5 MILES AWAY. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WAS CLEAR AND SUNNY, WITH NO SNOWFALL TO CLEAN UP. USPS and Fed-Ex delivered packages from California, N.M. and Florida, some sent Friday afternoon, and delivered by NOON ON SATURDAY!!! (I have proof!)

I waited all day yesterday for them to deliver the package, only to leave my apartment at night and see two notes saying they had stopped by and I wasn't there for either of them. It's a big apartment and you have to ring the doorbell to get the door answered, you can't knock at the front and expect someone to come out of their unit and hear you. Now they will only make one more attempt, but if they won't even try to contact the customer by the simplest method of ringing the doorbell for the specific apartment then the chances of me hearing them are small--what am I supposed to do, sit by the window and look for them? Now I have to go out and pick it up myself, what's the point of having something delivered if I have to go get it in the end? Also, they are the only shipping company in Lansing with no weekend hours, meaning for those of us working all day, it will be impossible to actually find the time to go get what should have already been here. So frustrating! I'll stick with FedEx after this!

I too have has a package delayed due to bad weather by UPS. I ordered steaks on-line and these were supposed to be delivered 2 day air. On the delivery date, a Thursday the package is out for delivery.....never showed up. Tracking states delayed due to bad weather......Really 20 degrees in temperature and 0.02 inches of snow!! On the Friday for delivery, the same thing, Package is on the truck for delivery.....No wait end of the day....delayed doe to inclement weather.....you 15 degrees and sunny, that is inclement??? Yes this is New England....but I am guessing that UPS does not deliver in Alaska or Canada! So now it is a Saturday and my perishable food is sitting in a truck schedule for delivery on Monday. 6 days later. I will send UPS the doctor bill for my food poisoning!

I have a UPS, USPS, and FedEx delivery all scheduled for today. The delivery hubs are all located about 2-5 miles apart.

USPS and FedEx both delivered today, on time.

UPS, which scanned the receipt of my package at their hub several hours earlier, couldn't deliver, due to "severe weather delays". Horrible

UPS in Houston, Texas - Driver refuses to deliver and customer service lied

I called this morning to leave a message for the UPS driver to leave my package with my apartment office. I was told he received the message, however, he refused to leave the package! This is not even the second time this has happened. I called customer service when I got home at 7pm. I was told that if he did not deliver where I told him to, well, it was the driver's discretion not to deliver it where he was supposed to deliver it! I was informed on the note on my door and by the rep (who has a heavy accent - is this call center even in America?) that it would be redelivered Monday, when I will be at work. The first rep lied and said someone from the local office would call me within the hour, knowing that they were already closed! I called again at 8pm, waited, call disconnected, called back and waited on hold for another hour for a supervisor, the 2nd rep disconnected me. I have to go to their office 20 miles away, and they do not open until 10am tomorrow, yet I am already late for my out of town trip because of this lazy driver. I HATE UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First I had a package sent to me via overnight. I waited all day and finally called at 430. Customer service was unable to provide me any details except that it was out for delivery and would be there by the end of the day. The package was not delivered until 7:15: 12 hours after it was put on the truck. I waited ALL DAY & they could not give me any delivery time estimates. Number 2: a package was shipped to me via Ground. I knew I was going out of town for the weekend so I requested that the package by dropped off at the UPS Store & I ALSO left a big signed note on the door explaining this. The package was left on my DOORSTEP!!! I am out of town and a package is sitting on my doorstep for anyone to take! I will NEVER EVER use UPS. And from this point forward I will avoid companies that shipped using UPS.

UPS in Graz, Steiermark - Delivery by the end of day, means when? Phonecall would be helpfull

I was supposed to get my new laptop today. But then UPS happened. I got email with information that it will be delivered today. No time no nothing. I figured they will call me because they have my number or they will leave it in some place which is nearby and Ill pick it up same day or next day. But nononot possible in UPS. Nobody called me, they just sent my email that I wasnt there and theyll try next bussines day. But surprise, I have work!, and I wont be there ever at this time. Of course now I cant change address or say that Ill pick it up myself but who cares now ? Its friday and I can do it on Monday!
