UPS should care about CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS!

I am sick and tired, as are my neighbors, of complaining about Lazy UPS drivers/delivery people and getting no response OR improvements on their service. The residence of the building I live in have many issues from UNATTEMPTED DELIVERIES while claiming NO ONE WAS HOME to flat out leaving packages in the lobby without alerting the receiver. I have taken days off of work to wait for packages that didn't come only to read on the online tracking that "They attempted delivery. They are RUDE and won't go up to the 3rd floor which they are required to do. I live on the 5th and ALWAYS meet them when they ring. I get that this is not an easy job buy it is a well paid one YOU CHOSE TO DO! Its time UPS Wake Up and care more about the few customers they have left!!! I'm sick and tired of having to complain to you to no avail. If you don't care about your quickly shrinking customer base, close the house down. You don't exist without your customers period!!

UPS in Irvine, California - Poor customer service and extra charges

I have a delivery that needs signature. However, the first attempt was unsuccessful because I was not home (I work all day). They left a notice of their attempt. Their next delivery would be next day at 10-12pm, also a time when I won't be available (who is available at that time when most people work??). When I tried to reschedule another time for another day on their UPS.com, it would COST ME EXTRA $5 in order to change to another time or another address!! When I tried to talk to customer service, they couldn't do anything and all they could offer is: go to MyUPS.com. So, they have my package and they have NO incentive whatsoever to offer any customer service at all and they just want more money on my behalf!!

YOU are the one who elected to have it sent to an address where no one would be available!

It is your responsibility to have it sent an address where a person would be available, such as your work or a neighbor who is always home.

Of course there is an extra charge to change the address from the original address.

Of course if you wanted it sent to this other address, should have had it sent to that address in the first place.

The driver has a route to follow, and to change the route would mean others do not get their packages.

I work all day so your day delivery does me no good. You should have an box to check off for second attempt to be after a certain time. I wanted my package deliveted next door on the second day and left a note to do so but your *** policy wouldnt allow.Now for the third attempt I called your so called customer service number that makes every effort to keep people from speaking to a real person. After spending 20 minutes with a non personable emotionlist person who booked a delivery address change for me only to tell me at the end of it all that not only was it a $7.00 plus tax charge but it would be another 2-3 day delivery. I cancelled the redirect thinking I would be able to just go to my local UPS down the street the next day and pick it up since it wss already at final dilivery, easy right? wrong!. The parcel wad now at the central UPS centre and because its not open on weekends I now have to figure out how to go there and pick my package up. They are only open Mon to Friday just like the days I work except you can only pick up parcels between 7:40 to 9:30 am and then again 4:30 to 6:30 pm. the times may be off by a little but you see what I mean. UPS has been the worst delivery service ive dealt with from no flexibility to poor delivery times, to poor un empathetic customer service, to inconvienient pick up location and times. To be honest I am affraid I might not get it now before they return to sender. Very very bad service.

UPS - Next day delivery? More like next week delivery

I paid extra to have a package delivered the next day. I kept checking the tracking online and it said out for delivery. Well it was never delivered that day. The next day it said that the package was still in transit. I called UPS and ripped them a new one. Now I have to actually drive there to pick it up. And it better be ready for me to pick or someone wil have an issue. Bottom line, they're liars. It stinks when you can't give a gift to a friend because UPS is there to screw up your day. Thank you, UPS.

I was tracking my package to be deliver'd by ups and by automated service it was to be deliver'd in 1 day now it won't be here until almost 7 days they said due to weather just saw a ups truck in my area so package in sitting in my home town waiting til the 5th day to be deliver'd I will never use ups again and also my employer will not also ups sucks

UPS in Lajeado, Rio Grande Do Sul - Incompetence, lies and overall bad service

To whom it may concern, Open Letter of complaint In early December 2014 I chose U.P.S. to deliver an important parcel (to be sent from the U.K. and to be delivered to my home address in Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil) due to their promise of guaranteed delivery. The guaranteed delivery date to my home address was for the 15th December 2014. To date (18th January 2015), the parcel STILL has not arrived at my home address. Inside the parcel are, amongst other items, important vitamin supplements and Christmas presents for my daughter, sent from her grandmother. Due to the incompetence of U.P.S., my daughter has not yet had the pleasure of opening her Christmas presents. On the 15th December 2014 (the day the parcel was due to arrive at my home address) I discovered, using the online tracker service, that the parcel had only just arrived in São Paulo. I contacted U.P.S. via their Live chat Service three times to try to discover the reason for the delay. It was only during the 3rd conversation that I was informed that further documentation was required in order for the parcel to be released by customs. I sent all further documentation requested several days before the deadline given expired. Amongst the further documentation submitted, I sent screen prints of purchased products and their values that were within the parcel. It was equally made very clear that all other remaining items within the parcel were personal items of mine that I had owned for several years. The documentation was sent to U.P.S. via email, on 30th December 2014. On 02.01.2015 I received a confirmation email from a U.P.S. representative saying that my email containing all requested further documentation had been received. The same email confirmed that it would take a further seven days for the requested information to be processed and for the parcel to be, finally, released. On 17th January 2015, during a conversation via Live chat, I learnt that the further information that had been requested and that I had sent (and had had confirmation from U.P.S. of having received), had not been forwarded by U.P.S to the customs officials in São Paulo. On top of all this, my parcel has been returned to uk, to sender, with no logic explanation her address, from where the parcel was collected, was stated as wrong (!!!), and when finally sorted as right, UPS left a ¨we will delivery on the first working day¨and NEVER CAME BACK!! My parcel was redirected to Bolton and now YOU ARE CHARGING A FEE FOR ALL YOUR MISTAKES!!! I have been treated like a pingpong ball between you and UPS, with nobody assuming the mistakes and finding a reasonable solution. I will take this to court, I will leave a bad review on every blog, every magazine and every facebook page that I can find. considering that I did everything asked within deadlines given and when there has been mistake after mistake made by U.P.S. representatives throughout the whole delivery process, how can you begin to explain all of this mess?????

UPS in Virginia Beach, Virginia - Lies about delivery date

due to bad weather my package was delayed ups reissued another delivery date.that is understandable.package was not delivered by 6p.m. I called customer service they said it was out on the truck for delivery this day.I did not receive the package. i called back they said the next day.I stayed home waiting on the package again 6p.m I called the said it was out for delivery.Again I didn't get the package. Called back they said next.I'm taking days off work because it has to be signed for.About to lose job over a package and cannot get a straight answer from ups.Ups is 5 minutes from my home

I am in Virginia as well. Tracking shows that my own package was "Out for delivery" at 7:35 AM.

At 8:30 PM they sent me an email that there was a weather emergency 5 or so states away in Arkansas and thus they couldn't deliver my package to me from less than 20 miles away on a totally clear day. As it was Friday that now delays the emergency part I was waiting for at least two more days.

I do not understand how weather in Arkansas can prevent a package already in my neighborhood in Virginia from going the last 20 miles in a 24 hour period. I see a link to "report fraud" but what if the fraud IS UPS?

wow I'm going through the same exact problem in Virginia Beach, VA, two days it was posted in tracking as on the the truck and has yet to show up. After failed attempts to call and chat online I emailed and was then told weather delays in which I stated that there have been numerous ups trucks making deliveries all week with no problems with this so called "adverse weather".

I then asked if I could just have it ready for pick up Saturday for will call and was told no because it was after 7pm. Total BS. They told me the window to wait was 9am-7pm maybe later so how would I know it wasn't going to make it to my house before 7pm to make the call. Never again if I have the choice fedex from here on out.

and I paid for 2day shipping that's why I'm really mad. I feel your pain!

the cherry on the cake in which I forgot to mention was I received a package I should have got Tuesday on wed. so the fact the storm came mon night/Tuesday morning is fine and understandable but no delivery of a package wed and not thurs.

is *** on them. little mail trucks driving on ice but the big UPS trucks cant.

UPS POOR SERVICE NEVER DELIVERED PACKAGED AND LIED AND SAID THAT THEY DID!!!

I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR UPS TO DELIVER A PACKAGE TO ME I HAVE BEEN TRACKING MY PACKAGE SINCE IT LEFT THE SHIPPER ON UPS.COM MY PACKAGE WAS PUT ON THE TRUCK AT 4:53 Friday morning AND NOW IT IS AFTER 7PM THE DRIVER LIED AND TRIED TO SAVE HE ATTEMPTED TO DELIVER MY PACKAGE TO ME AT 6:55PM WHICH IS A LIE I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN MY LIVING ROOM WITH MY CURTAINS OPEN WAITING FOR UPS WITH NO LUCK. NOW I AM ON HOLD WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR FOR UPS SUPERVISOR TO GET BACK TO ME THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED AT ALL AND UPS NEEDS TO GET THEIR DRIVERS IN ORDER. I AM ASKING ALL COMPANYS TO STOP USING UPS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SHIPPERS OR RECEIVERS THEY DESTROY PACKAGES AS WELL AS NEVER DELIVER THEM

I have a package that's been there over two weeks now I've tried to call customer service and got no where I'm so pissed as soon as I typed in this location I saw nothing but bad reviews and the the same problem with packages being lost I'm trying to understand why ups would allow this location to be bad they need to seriously clean house and hire employees that are trustworthy and capable of doing their job
