Ups - Delivery Crew Review from Irving, Texas

1.3
Details
My ups driver refuses to drop off my package because "he don't like my neighborhood". In the past two months I have had three deliveries. First one he dropped off. Second one he didn't. I signed the little waiver and hung it on my door and the next day, he dropped it off. Now this third package, he refuses to drop. Checked the slip saying the sender required signature which is a lie. Called them yesterday and the lady at the center told me that the driver wanted the signature for some reason, just to sign the slip (even though he x'd though it) and he would drop it off. Signed it, hung it on my door, and today.... no package. My girlfriend got home before me and called ups. They said the driver will not drop off anything at my house because he don't like my neighborhood. Mind you, he dropped off a package a month ago with the exact same product inside with no problems, and the package he dropped off with.just the slip on the door signed had a $300 item inside, but now he suddenly won't drop off my ***. I'm done with ups after this. I will no longer buy from anyone that refuses to ship FedEx.

UPS in Flushing, New York - I don't know how this company stays in business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I order something I make a request if possible not to us UPS because 90% of the time the truck never come and when I check MY UPS it says the "First Attempt Made". I'm home, no truck comes and no sticker left. What a joke! When I call and give the necessary information nothing happens so I have to go to UPS hub and wait on this extremely lone line where there is only one person searching for packages. And everyone on that line has the exact same complaint. Now I know why UPS lost the Amazon account!

Greetings, When your UPS drivers make their own rules and interrogate your customers.... Here's my fun UPS story. I don't expect or care for any action at this point because I will avoid your service at ALL costs - even if it means discontinuing ordering from some...

No one from UPS will see this.

You posted this on a board not owned or monitored by UPS.

Though, I do know a Driver, and when they deliver and a person claims they did not receive the shipment, the Driver pays for that out of his or her own check.

Check youtube, countless vids of folks stealing packages left by delivery personnel.

You might wish to complain to UPS, and not some random site.

UPS in Mississauga, Ontario - No attempt to deliver package before leaving note

We knew a package was coming and so were waiting all day. Never went out. Most of that time we were at the front of the house. We left the front of the house for only a couple of minutes and came back to a note on the door. We opened the door in time to see the UPS truck pull away. There was no knock and no ringing of the door bell. When we called at 3:18 to complain their automated system said that they tried to deliver the package at 3:15. When we got a person they didn't believe us. My opinion is that UPS trains their drivers to not ring the door bell because their is more benefit in the time saved than they lose by complaints like this one.

UPS in Mississauga, Ontario - NO attempt to deliver

3.0
Details
After waiting most of the day for the ups truck - after checking the tracking number and seeing it was out on delivery as of 7am today. After checking the front of the house, I ventured for to go to my basement for no more than 3 minutes. As soon as I came back up I saw the UPS sticker on the front door and opened the door and saw the UPS truck driving away. I can hear my door bell all over the house including the basement - it was NOT rung. There is only a single door at my front door and I can hear any reasonable knock on it all over the house - if there was a knock, it was VERY light and VERY short. In my opinion there was NO attempt to contact the occupants of the house. We even had a car parked in our driveway - an indication that someone might be home. NOTHING. When I called UPS, they SAY the driver would have rung or knocked - I DON'T BELIEVE THEM. They SAY they will put my package back out on delivery for tomorrow. IF their delivery attempts are the same as today, I will have to watch the front door like a hawk to get my package.

UPS says I received a package I rejected

1.0
Details
I rejected a package from UPS twice, once by phone, once in person, and UPS marked it as I picked it up which led to my phone company charging me $375. The store where I rejected it says that it is between UPS and my phone company. They don't keep records and they can't help me. UPS doesn't operate on weekends so I can't actually get anyone to help me. I can't believe I have to write 100 words to complain about this. What else does this website want me to tell it! UPS is terrible and I hope they no longer get any business.

Ups - Delivery Crew Review from Garland, Texas

My husband is a UPS driver for all you whiney people. He works HARD MANUAL LABOR for 10-11 hour days in ice, snow, and heat. Every SECOND of his existence while working is monitored electronically by sensors in his package car and DIAD, his handheld device. His boss knows if he stops to listen to you for 1 minute and how long he is in the bathroom. Drivers work every second as hard and fast as they can! If your precious box isn't there on time it isn't his fault. Believe me, he wants to get rid of your box so he doesn't have to see it the next day. How would you like to be monitored every minute you were at work? Seriously, think about it. All the stuff you do all day at your 8 hour job. How much is work, hmm. Maybe 4, 5 hours? 6 if you have a deadline? Drivers are HUMAN, have some compassion, and THANK them because I can tell you they get yelled at, threatened and treated like slaves by management. Sheesh!

Ups suck!!!!!!! They will have you waiting around all day for your package and sometimes don't even show up. Or they'll show up when your not home and also they'll just throw your package on the front step. FedEx is much better they actually call in advance before they show up to your residence

UPS in Chesapeake, Virginia - Impossible to receive package

Why would there be no Saturday delivery option for something that REQUIRES an over 21 signature? Why would that not be the default option? How is this company so continually dumbfounded by the fact that people have jobs? No, UPS, you're absolutely right. Noon on a weekday is a perfectly reasonable time to expect someone to be home, sitting by the door like a trained dog, ready to sign for a package at your convenience. No, it's okay. It's okay guys! For just $6, you can have delivery rescheduled for that day off you have in two weeks! Or, you can go pick it up yourself at the facility, during normal business hours of course. "No, boss, I just have to take an extra hour for lunch to drive to the airport. There's never any traffic at the airport, right?" What a *** disgrace.
