UPS service in my area is atrocious. I have watched their drivers "deliver" parcels. They scurry up, toss the package on the porch and speed off. Not even a token knock. That would be a good experience with UPS, though. I personally have had parcels that went undelivered but were logged in as delivered by the driver. In one case I called UPS about this. After that, the driver started calling me, asking why I was trying to get him fired and harassing me. I called UPS again and his calls stopped. Over the years packages have routinely been crushed, lost, delivered empty, just about everything you can imagine. UPS never takes responsibility for any of this. They fend off complaints, claiming poor packaging or saying the package was logged in as delivered, therefore it was delivered and I am wrong. I have stopped using UPS and will not return.

UPS in Columbus, Ohio - Package mailed to India

Stopped at a UPS store on a Thursday (3PM) and dropped a package to be mailed to India with diabetic medications (insulin) for my mom who is visiting India. I was told that the package would be in India on Saturday with delivery on Monday. I paid $172 for shipping it. Thursday night I get an email from UPS saying that the delivery has been delayed due to severe weather conditions. There were no weather issues in Ohio, Kentucky or Pennsylvania on April 02, 2015, unless it was a delayed April fool's joke. Anyways, today it is the seventh day the package is still not delivered. Columbus, Louisville, Philadelphia, Koeln (Germany), Dubai, Mumbai, Hyderabad (destination city). The package is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, exactly 8 days after it was dropped off and full 3 days behind schedule. If I was told that this will take 8 days, I'd have shipped it via FedEx. I have used FedEx in the past to ship prescriptions for my mom and it was delivered as promised. I would be okay with the shipment being late had it not contained Insulin, which needs to be refrigerated. It was the one and only time I used UPS. I will never use them to ship anything, time sensitive or not. UPS SUCKS!!! Lying BASTARDS!!!!!

Nothing but stress. I work. They came three times for my package During the dsy. When I called Ups I requested to.leave package with office in my lobby. They came after 4 pm.and the office was closed. I checked tracking and package was then delivered to my closest ups location. I expected to pick it up there. Lo and behold it was on its way back to the sender. I had to order the package again from the seller. Again today they came with another parcel I ordered. I was not home but got the call on my cell I told the delivery man tp leave it at my door. it was not at my door and I checked tracking and it said it was left at front door which I assume is the lobby door!! package was not there. Someone likely stole it. I had parcels left at my door before and no problem. NOW I am expecting a parcel tomorrow and have no way to contact ups since I dont have a card yet!! I have to go through this stress. Worst service ever. I was planning on taking a day off work just to make sure I get my package?! people work. in the future I will make sure i use canada post or fedex! now to worry about my package tomorrow!!!

UPS in Owen Sound, Ontario - Charged full customs value and BROKERAGE FEE on item sent to US for repair

I sent an electrical item, which had been purchased here in Canada with full taxes, to the manufacturer in the US for repair, who said they would have to use UPS as they have a contract with them. I had asked them to use USPS as they do not charge anything extra and get the procedures correct. Anyway, it arrived today with a bill for customs based on the insured value of $1500US - $$267 .... PLUS $107 BROKERAGE FEE!! WTF! This is an absolute criminal ripoff. They now tell me I have to pay ANOTHER $15 to get the parcel re-assessed!!! What the cunting *** am I going to do now?!! UPS are the worst company to deal with and they do not give two shites about the customers. This si another typical North American money driven conglomerate.

UPS customs charges, failed delivery, bad service, even worse support

My package was coming from the USA to Canada via UPS. It was fast and on time. The driver left a note on my door that the package was unable to be delivered, like most people in this world I happen to have a job and work it from 9-5. The driver tried to deliver 3 times within the one day only. I was furious when I read on UPS.com that my package would be returned to sender immediately after 3 failed attempts because there was a $28.00 COD charge. I paid for an expedited service that cost $54.00. After attempting to call UPS and getting recorded message after recorded message telling me the rules and to visit their website. As well as visiting their website only to find out that I must wait 5 days for them to send me an activation code, as well as my tracking number not working, I have still not received my package and have no way of finding out where it is. *** you UPS. I will do my best to let others know and I will never order again if the delivery company is UPS. Extremely pissed off customer of UPS.

I CALLED THURSDAY 4 TIMES TO GET AN AMOUNT FOR A SHIPMENT FROM cALIFORNIA THAT WAS TOBE DELIVERED TO ME FRIDAY APRIL3RD.aFTER AFOURTH TRY THEY GAVE ME THE AMOUNT FOR COD CERTIFIED CHECK THAT I SAID I WOULD GET THE NEXT MORNING.i HIRED TO PEOPLE TO HELP ME THEN FRIDAY I GET A CALL FROM UPS SAYING THEY WONT DELIVER BECAUSE THEYRE NOT SURE I HAVE A CERTIFIED CHECK.I WAS SO MAD AND CALLED 3 TIMES.MONDAY THE 6TH I WAS OUT AND PUT BACK IN 5 MINUITES IN THE WINDOW AND MISSED THE DRIVER.ITS ALWAYS LIKE THIS AND THE AMOUNTS THEY GIVE ME FOR COD SHIPMENTS ARE NEVER CORRECT.THEY NEVER RELAY MESSAGES FROM I PERSON TO ANOTHER.

I just picked up the package (samsung Galaxy S6 edge) from the UPS facility, excitedly I went home to open the package. When I received the package, I noticed something was weird about it, it was taped on one end of bubble plastic bag. Immediately I cut the bag and noticed the package was tampered with and the phone is not in the box. I then realized the UPS worker had snipped the package and taped it was to concealed the cut. The box was ripped and had dirty oil mark on it. I called them to report about the problem and they told me to call the shipper (Tmoblie) and report the problem to them instead. What a shame that UPS cannot take the initiative to investigate the claim.

Went back to the seller who used fedx and from there a new item was shipped. I actually never received the original product but the seller made good
