UPS in San Jose, California - Unbelievable work ethic

They are plain ***.They say came to deliver a package and I have been home all day waiting got the arrival and to no avail. Getting shipment delivery from UPS!! Forget it!!

I have always missed deliveries from UPS even though I am at home. UPS guy left package once outside my house, somebody took and wallmart had to pay for my loss. Now I dont trust UPS delivery guy so I scheduled a pick up from nearest UPS location. My request for pick up was accepted then after a day I get a notification that my shipment could not be delivered to the UPS location I selected so they sent it to the UPS location of their convenience. Now, I have to take a subway and then the bus to reach at the location they have kept my shipment and its gonna cost me 8$ and 2 hours.

UPS in Mississauga, Ontario - DO I HAVE TO STAY HOME FROM WORK TO GET MY PARCEL!!!

I will never never use UPS again!!!! I work full-time days and they arrive at my door while I am at work. They run on a delivery window which spans from morning to early evening. So do I miss a days pay to wait on UPS. Very inconvenient!!! This hass happen to me before! Customer service is no better with no care for the customer. They did not even go out of their way to help me. A two hr drive to pick up a package which is a waste of my time and gas! They have lost a me as a consumer.

My grown kids live in apartments.When ever they order anything they have it sent to my house since I am home all day.Do you have a parent or friend that is home most of the time?Do you have a elderly neighbor who is home get your packages for you?Their are all kinds of soultions I am sure you can use..just think outside the box.

UPS is a business and guess what, they work in business hours as well. If they wait until people start getting home from work to deliver packages that means they don't start deliveries until 4PM and people would be getting knocks on the door to sign for a package at 10-11PM. So you can either be home and sign for the package, have the package delivered to your work or some other address where someone can sign for it, or tell UPS they need to start having packages delivered at 10 o'clock at night.

UPS delivery and Customer service going downhill

UPS has returned my packages 3 times and the customer service sucks terribly!This is the worst worst carrier for package delivery. I have 2 info notice in my hands one from 4/13/15 and one from 4/14/15 with one being the first attempt and the second being the final attempt. Calling the managers at UPS is pointless . I was informed that there was a first delivery attempt on the 4/10 with GPS showing driver was at my location really? So were is that info notice? Why did the manager I spoke to yesterday did not see that? Why does my info notice on 4/13 says first attempt? The package is being returned as the other two packages. Why should I pay $5 for UPS to hold my package? Simply pathetic and careless! I will choose a different carrier for now.

UPS is not dependable !

We place a lot of online orders from Amazon.com paying for 2 day shipping . These packages are shipped by UPS and we almost never get them on time,as UPS always comes up with some lame excuse to reschedule . Example , we ordered diabetic testing supplies through Amazon and the package was guaranteed to be delivered by UPS on Friday ,April 11,2015 by the end of the day. Friday afternoon we received a text alert from UPS stating that the package was incorrectly sorted by their facility and delivery was being rescheduled to Monday April 13th between 9:45am and 1:45pm . Monday we were home the entire day waiting for the delivery and they never came . We contacted ups online to make a complaint and were told that UPS attemped delivery but no one was home and that they were rescheduling yet again to Tuesday, April 14th . We have surveillance cameras up and recording and no one stopped at our house ! We contacted UPS to make a complaint and let them know that the package contained medical supplies and they agreed to deliver ASAP . It is now 3:20pm on the 3rd scheduled delivery date and still no package ! UPS IS NOT DEPENDABLE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM

This company does not even deserve the effort of a review. But in hope that this will spread the word and companies like UPS start to take their job more seriously, I have to say, that after constant issues in receiving with UPS my items ordered online, I cannot BELIEVE how they can still function as a company. They should be called OOPS. Their drivers don't even have an operating telephone in order to contact the receivers....apparently not even the customer service team can speak to them directly to update with more precision. Not even their updates online are reliable. I read this morning that my delivery was still scheduled for delivery by the end of today, so I gave them a call to find that they've misplaced my item..... And all they can do is apologise, which means nothing when coming from a bureaucratic system of human answering machines, as I have spent yet another whole day indoors this year, waiting for the promised UPS delivery.... Not to mention the fact that SOME COURIERS WILL NOT EVEN LEAVE A NOTE saying they couldn't deliver. Absolutely incredible. I wonder what the benefits are of having such INCOMPETENCE delivering items to your customers. This goes to #ADIDAS #APPLE and all the others... APAWLING SERVICE

Ups - Delivery Crew Review from Camrose, Alberta

I had the misfortune of dealing with the same coonty UPS driver twice in the same week. First encounter was a little surprising, as the package I had ordered was supposed to be delivered regular post. Since I was only expecting a larger package, I answered the door, said "Hi," and stood there for a moment. "Are you so-and-so?" she asks me, hotly. I said, "Yep, that's me." and looked at the box. "There's $76.38 in brokerage fees." she says flatly. "Uh.... what is the package?" I asked, slightly dumbfounded. She then told me (complete with a snobby attitude, like I was not expecting UPS to be there... which I wasn't) and then it clicked. "Oh, this was supposed to come regular mail... they told me I wouldn't have to pay to have it shipped." "Well, " she says, rolling her eyes, "That's what my paperwork says, so..." Okay, then. I'm standing there, processing. I was deciding if I really wanted to refuse delivery, since the package came from the States, and I'd have to reorder. She was shifting on my step, holding the package against the railing and huffing and acting like I was taking up too much of her time, so I said, "Okay, can I just write you a cheque?" She snorts at me, "Uh... yeahuh?" So I grab the cheque and pay and she's gone without batting an eye. Needless to say, she was completely rude and I hoped to never deal with her again. Fast forward to today, and a heavier item I ordered (dresser) is out for delivery. It was already four days late, so I'm not really that impressed to begin with. Then lo an behold, the doorbell rings, and who do I come face to face with but Miss Perma-PMS UPS. She had my box on a dolly at the bottom of the stairs. I opened the screen door, again said "Hello," and then she barks at me, "UHM, THIS IS A HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE POUNDS!" I was like, "Oooookayyy..." and called me roommate over to help her. He ended up having to grab it OFF the dolly and maneuver it up the step himself, as she would not lift one sweet pinky finger to help. The millisecond it was off the dolly, she took off like a bat out of ***. Not only was it upside down on the dolly, the corner of the box was beat to *** Not very professional on any account. Now, I understand everyone has bad days, but a little courtesy goes a long globbing way, especially when I did nothing to you personally. I have had so much delivered over the years, and although I don't really like UPS, I've never had an issue up until now.

My order was to be delivered on 4/6/15, which did not happen. After complaining to UPS: they stated I gave wrong address--not true! The address was on their email to me was correct, so then the company made some other flimsy excuses. Finally when I complained "big time" to the sender--told them to cancel the order, also again to UPS, they scheduled another delivery time, which was 4/13/15--a week late and many days of arguing. The package did come, but opened. I have lived at this address fifty plus years and delivery has always been fine. The address in on both gates.
