no matter what, customer is always right, if the guy respects his company he should have behaved well and absorbs the anger of the customer because if the delay, UPS should train their drivers to deal with different customers in a nicer way. If the blame started with the girl it ended with the driver, and here is the problem. You are talking about a big company that deals with the world and they should know how to treat their customer respectfully.

UPS claimed they attempted a delivery to avoid fees from Amazon

I purchased a laptop on Thursday night on 6/11/2015 after 6pm, so it would act like i purchased the item on Friday. I purchased the laptop with a one day weekend shipping so that it would arrive on Saturday and I was fine with paying the extra so get my package. I was home all day Saturday waiting for the package and no one showed up or left a notice on my door that they had attempted a delivery. Later that day UPS claimed they had made an attempt to deliver the package and then moved the delivery to Monday! I payed for a one day delivery that still has yet to be delivered and they lied to Amazon in order to avoid having to pay me back the money i payed for single day shipping. A package arriving late is fine, I know that complications arise and sometimes you just can't get everyone their package. Please, just please don't lie to avoid giving me a refund on something I payed for when I could have gotten a 2 day shipping for free (which is pretty much what it ended up as).

If you did not pay for Saturday delivery(which is an added charge over and above regular next day air shipping charges) it will be delivered on MONDAY

While shipping UPS most likely was a mistake the real issue is between you and Amazon. Contact Amazon and they will make an amendment to your purchase for UPS's mistake. Remember that UPS's customer is Amazon and not you.

UPS in La Habra, California - Delivery failure

UPS was supposed to deliver a new cell phone. They came Friday at noon. We were at work, 12:30 pm Friday delivery, I called their customer service to re-route to local store, they stated that they could not delivery until three days later (Monday), that is incredivle since the distance from their warehouse in Cerritos, CA to local store in Downey, CA less than seven miles. I ask if they will not try to deliver next day Saturday? They say no because they already have the schedule for Saturday deliveries n Friday! Why it is so difficult to scan some bars and add an smallpackage to the Saturday schedule?

Why you had it delivered to your house when you knew you would be home makes no sense.

Why did you not schedule it to be delivered the alternate address in the first place?

Saturday delivery is a premium service which has to be paid for.

Otherwise, deliveries are made during the regular workweek which is Mon-Fri.

UPS in Frederick, Maryland - Critical Medical Supplies Delayed

UPS gave me an expected delivery date of Friday, June 12, 2015, for critically needed insulin pump supplies. I checked the tracking information on Friday morning and saw I wouldn't get my supplies that day. I called my local office and was told, in a "I couldn't care less" tone, that the trailer was too late for the train (?). She suggested I call the medical supply company to ship it one-day air (which I found out would cost me $30 I don't have). She advised me that my pump supplies should arrive Monday, the 15th, but that wasn't guaranteed. My supplies will last until that Monday, so my life depends on UPS delivering. But I contacted my shipper and told them to change to USPS for all future shipments. They stated that they have had many problems with UPS and agreed to ship by USPS for now on. Anecdotally, I have noticed that both USPS and FedEx always deliver in our area between 10 am and noon, and have Saturday delivery. I see UPS not arriving until around 5 or 6 pm with no Saturday delivery. I suggest not patronizing businesses that use UPS.

My package was never delivered and I was never contacted despite the fact that UPS had all of my contact information. UPS claimed that they could not find the house despite the fact that the USPS, FedEx, and Google maps can. After the first failed attempt (which I only knew about because I was religiously tracking this package not because UPS actually bothered to notify me) I attempted to "fix" the address since according to UPS it didn't exist. All I did was take the extra digits off the zip code because I did not put them there. I also called customer service told them my problem and proceeded to describe the house, the road, and how to get there (even though it is extremely simple). I also made sure that my phone number was available and that I was to be called if there were anymore issues. Since it was after 7 when I realize that my package was not coming it was not only delayed one more day but two. On the second delivery attempt I had to miss work to make sure that I was home for the delivery in case there were anymore problems. Again no package and no contact. Only because I was religiously tracking the package again did I see that my package was now being returned to sender. No phone call, no email, no contact. Again, I called customer service, who barely spoke English, and only repeatedly told me that there was nothing she could do. She was not only unhelpful but also rude and difficult to understand. I have now contacted the shipper and am having a replacement package sent to a different address that hopefully UPS can find and now instead of having my package delivered to me I will have to drive to pick it up from a relative. Today when I got in from work I found a post card from UPS in my mailbox (imagine that somebody else can find my address no problem) that said my package would be held until the 16th in Macon, an hour away. So I called customer service again. Whoops we have already sent your package back (so UPS lied on the postcard) and there is nothing we can do about it. For an Atlanta based company, I am disappointed that they cannot find an easy to get to address within their own state. It must truly be a miracle that they can deliver anywhere. I hope UPS can find some resolution to my problem. I will be contacting the company that sent the package and let them know just how poorly I have been treated and how badly this reflects on their business for choosing such an incompetent shipping service. Now the package that I so desperately needed will be two weeks late at the earliest. I hope that UPS finds some way to remedy this.

I don't know what is going on there, but they mess up at least two deliveries a month. We have been with them for years and ship tons of stuff. I can't even get our UPS Representatives name. They mess up and find ways to not pay us for broken items, non-delivery, late delivery, etc. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!! We are in the process of closing our account and going elsewhere. Their support reads from scripts and doesn't have a clue. We no longer have an Account Rep either. With the money we spend, they are so horrible to us. We are done, done, done!!!

Now I know why UPS scores so poorly with their reviews.This company doesn't deserve one star rating. My package took 21 days to travel from Canada to Texas. THis company does not know what service is all about. Could not speak with a company representative. Always received a voice recording during each phone call attempt. The reason given for such delayed delivery was that they were short staffed. Hmmm Short staffed for 14 days ??? Its all about business and time management. Hopefully, FedEX will deliver my goods promptly next time. I will certainly NOT utilize the services of UPS again.

UPS in Lake Oswego, Oregon - Over one month to resolve a damage claim

Avoid UPS store 0798 Tigard Oregon at all costs. Skip started out friendly, but didn't package expensive item properly. I paid extra for packing and insurance It arrived shattered. He denied responsibility, the claim was first denied, until I insisted he claim it again; the recipient send 3 photos and a sworn statement. WHEN YOU SHIP AT A UPS STORE YOU CAN'T FILE THE CLAIM YOURSELF. THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED .YOU ARE NOT SHIPPING VIA UPS YOU ARE SHIPPING VIA A FRANCHISE. After a month, many phone calls, many trips to the store, I finally got the insurance check. Then he tells me to not call his associates again because I made them cry. NOT!!!! I called for the 25th time ..Skip isn't there as usual, and asked the girl to call Skip on his cell phone and have him call me. I have a witness who heard my call. I tried to let him know that I did not harass the girls. HE SAID, I TRUST MY GIRLS. What a miserable mess. The moral of the story is....pack it yourself and go to the UPS shipping hub. They you won't have to deal with UPS franchise owners who deny being associated with UPS and who can't package an expensive item properly. Never again.

06/08/2015 UPS in Dallas has accepted a package to be shipped to my address in New York. The package included an important visa document, which I urgently needed to start working. The document issued by USCIS was delivered to Dallas; therefore I needed it to be immediately forwarded to New York. Instead of flying to Dallas myself and physically bringing a package myself, I relied on UPS Next Day Air early morning service that guarantees a next day delivery as early as 830am. Unfortunately, UPS failed to perform its service, which caused a delay in my shipment. I cannot start my job unless I receive the package, which is a substantial financial loss for me. On top of that, if I do not get a package by 06/11/2015 by offer will be revoked and I will not only lose money and job, but also future career prospects and aspirations. I have talked to many customer representatives during Tuesday day and night 06/09/2015 and Wednesday 06/10/2015, and received misleading inaccurate and indifferent comments about the status of my package. Multiple customer representatives insured me that the package will be delivered to me by 8am, on 06/10/2015. At 8am there was still no package, so I called again and was told the package will be here by 10am. At 10am I was told to wait till noon. I called again at 2pm and I was told that the package is still in Dallas (!) and there have been no updates on its location. There is a possibility that the package is lost. The negligence and indifference of UPS’ workers and the company itself had caused financial, mental and career damage to me. I assume the right to hire an attorney and file a claim/lawsuit against UPS.
