Delivery Service Review

UPS in Caguas, Puerto Rico sucks! Time to fire and hire people that are willing to work. Waiting on a package for a week that's just sitting there. They have specific directions where to deliver. They also have phone number. Three times they were suppose to call me back and didn't. To make matters worse, their listed phone number is to the Board of Education!

UPS has been poor service for some time...and it's only getting worse

Ground delivery, they do ok, I guess. Next day or 2nd day, you can't trust it. International? I wouldn't even attempt it with UPS. FedEx or DHL pretty much owns that. I use FedEx for almost every next day and 2nd day package here in the U.S. And we ship a pretty good volume in a weeks time. I gave UPS a try once again on 06/11/2015 (mostly because the customer requested it) and they failed again! Still emailing back and forth for a refund or adjustment, but seems like good luck with this one. I really have not liked dealing with UPS for the 30 years I've been in business, but unfortunately, they sort of own the ground delivery part of the business. Shipped a next day package on Thursday for Friday delivery. It was delivered the following Monday. They did not attempt a Saturday delivery which I found strange. I was shipping to a city which is only a 4 hour drive from here. They tell me the delivery delay was due to adverse weather? Rain is now adverse weather? There was no flooding involved in this, they screwed up, plain and simple and they are trying to use weather (rain) as an excuse. Try calling them and using their automated prompts...that's a joke! The truth be known, most all delivery services are using contract and sub contract people and it's causing additional problems. The U.S. post office is doing it and FedEx does it also. That being said, our regular UPS driver is a joke.

UPS Canada has horrible customer service. They do not return calls regarding poor service at their franchised store outlet. FedEx is light years ahead of these guys when it comes to customer service

I strongly recommend not using this company for any of your deliveries.

UPS in Houston, Texas - Never attempted to deliver package within estimated delivery time

The UPS delivery person did not deliver my package within the estimated time frame. I called them several times asking them to deliver the package. I had to speak to several persons, starting from scratch each time. One manager said that she would get back with me in an hour, but never did. They would not give the phone number of the local UPS office where my package was being kept although they had no hesitation in asking my phone number. The local UPS office number was top secret. The local office won't entertain any calls from public as if they are too busy. When I finally got in touch with the local office, they told me to come and pick up my package if I wanted my package the same day. They refused to deliver the package themselves. It was a 2 Day Air. They did not deliver it within the time frame. The UPS people are a bunch of liars and are known for their incompetence and very poor customer service. They do not care a fig about the customers, but have no shame in making money on their backs. Shame on UPS!

It is an ESTIMATED delivery time, not a rock solid scheduled time.

Many variables that can even affect an estimated delivery time.

UPS Secaucus office- Most incompetent people I have ever met

I am have been trying to receive a package from the UPS Secaucus Office for the past 2 weeks. They are the most incompetent people ever. The driver at first could not find my address (even though everyone with google maps can find it). The package eventually went back to the original sender. The second time I arranged to have the package delivered by a certain date (I called them and it was documented online). I worked from home that day to sign for the package, I was then told at the end of the day that the package never left the site for delivery. I have never ever had to deal with such incompetence. Use Fedex next time.

UPS returned a package I was expecting after saying three times that no one was home to accept delivery. I was home all three times.

I called UPS to complain but they said they couldn't do anything. I reordered the item and the same thing happened on the supposed first delivery attempt. Bottom line is that there driver never attempted delivery. I called to complain and the people at the Secaucus office didn't seem to care in the least The next day, the driver did finally show up and rang the buzzer.

I remotely opened the main door as I was leaving my apartment.

The driver opened the door, tossed the item inside damaging it and left. The UPS system showed the item (which required a signature for delivery) had been signed for, but I never signed anything.

UPS UK AWFUL SERVICE

UPS in UK are awful. Absolutely poor in service and delivery. I had exactly the same issues twice. First in November 2014, tracker showed in transit but never turned up. Phone the customer service said it would be delivered. Never arrived. Phone the cs again, said the driver left it at the warehouse. So it couldn't be delivered today. I asked if it was the case, get the courier and bike it over hence there was still enough time for the day. UPS didn't do what they failed to do. My call was transferred to the warehouse manager and no one interested to help. Either I wait or don't take it. Complained to the email given, nothing heard. Again yesterday, the tracker showed street name incorrect and delivery delayed, it actually had door no, town and postcode, it was more than enough to deliver the goods nowadays. Then phoned up the next day to report the issue and given the new address at 8.30 am. Was told at that time it was scheduled for the delivery the next day. Tracker showed no progress until 9.52 pm and the item didn't arrive the next day. I called c.s. 2 times during the day to check where the item was hence no progress showed on the tracker. On both occassions, i was told to wait until 7pm as the last drop for the day. Gone passed 7pm, no sign of delivery. called c.s, said it won't be today and the delivery is next day. Because the new address should have been give before 8pm. So I said yes it was given 8.30 am, you had 11.30 hours to update it. They failed their task and refused to accept their poor service. I then refused the delivery on the next day. And reported that will never buy again anything delivered by UPS. NEVER AGAIN!

UPS in Bromley, England - Total lack of customer care

Iwaited in all day and finally took the dog for a walk at 6:15pm when I got back they tried to deliver at 6:19 when I called the next day I was told they would deliver again at 4:45 when I have to be at work until five. I only live four minutes from my office do you deliver 5:05 no they said that's the window so I rushed home as in no text so far to indicate that they tried to deliver but guess what they had at 4.51 but this time there was no note nothing to let me know when my parcel was so I rang them I was told I had refused delivery and I no longer wanted my package The first station I have dealt with this company is beyond belief they now want to deliver it again tomorrow but it won't tell me a time and I have to be at work Never will I buy anything from delivery and I no longer wanted my package The first station I have dealt with this company is beyond belief they now want to deliver it again tomorrow but it won't tell me a time and I have to be at work never again will I buy from anyone who delivers through this company

What incompetent , unprofessional delivery service I have ever dealt with. Couldn't find my address, I guess, couldn't take a minute of their time to call the number they had. When I called to resolve, they couldn't even tell me where my pkg was. I pd for one day delivery. I got a purse I ordered from Israel that got here with no problem. A bunch of idiots. They wouldn't even work with me. I order online all the time, had yall banned from delivering to me for ever. What ***.

Yahoos. Sums it up.

I had UPS banned from anymore of my deliveries ever. They suck, customer service sucks.

And I'm actually a nice person, and if a company makes a little effort to make things better, I forgive. I hope they go bankrupt.

Problem with delivery

UPS in Buffalo, New York - Delevery guy didn't leave missed package notice

For starters, I am a very competent individual, who articulates in a lucid manner. I have experience as a customer service rep and I excelled at my job. Now for my story, I missed my package and Normally there's a notice slip that can be signed in order to get them to leave it the next time; but the notice slip wasn't left. I called UPS customer service to get this issue resolved. I was told by a rep that in order to have the package left, I would need to enroll in "my choice service". This was supposed to be done automatically once I provided her with a bit of personal information. Her solution failed, because "the number on my account didn't match the one provided". While trying to get this issue resolved, I had to speak with three different customer service reps; each as incompetent as the last. So after a few reps and several "please hold" moments, my issue went unsolved. I absolutely hate that retailers create non-equity alliances and partnerships with carriers; if they didn't, I would never use UPS again. UPS is the only carrier that gives me issues.

I was awaiting for delivery from Germany to my site. The package was worth £4500. Driver has left the package in front of the gate and he was about to drove off. Luckly I was going downstairs at the time and I took the package inside. Driver was very rude when I asked him why he left the package outside the gate.
