UPS has been slacking on deliveries and their customer service

2.0
Details
UPS's service lately has been horrendous both online and on the phone. They have also been losing/misplacing packages more frequently than usual. Even trying to do a return label online is painful. They used to be on top of their game, but lately I would rather go to FedEx or the United States Postal Service before I go to them again. I spent an hour just to enter a supposedly user friendly return label while on the phone with an agent assisting me and they couldn't even figure the website themselves. They better get their act together before they lose all their customers.

UPS in Socorro, New Mexico - $500 dollar laptop delivered to the wrong address

1.0
Details
I ordered a $500 dollar laptop from amazon. While away, I was told my order was delivered. Imagine my surprise when there was no package at my door and my roommate had not received anything. One of their workers managed to deliver the package to the wrong address. Furthermore, when I called to inquire as to what the *** happened to my laptop, their representatives across the ocean informed me it was taken care of and that I would receive my package by the end of the day. Needless to say, two days later, and still no package. I called again and all I was told was "call amazon." And thank god Amazon actually cares about their costumers and acted as a mediator between me and UPS. This is when I discovered my laptop had been waiting for me at the distribution center all along and I only had one more day to pick it up. Wow! I would have loved to pick it up days ago had I been informed of this! I called UPS multiple times and spoke to multiple people and none of them could tell me this? Truly terrible costumer service. The first person I talked to seemed like they just wanted to get me off the phone. I would have been out $500 because UPS cannot tell the difference between 700 ans 712. 12 looks nothing like 00. Why wouldn't you require a signature for this item? Thoroughly unimpressed.

UPS in Maple Grove, Minnesota - Six mechanical issues in two days

1.0
Details
My package just experienced the 6th mechanical issue which is delaying shipping. *** part is that the delivery date move AHEAD one day today instead of the original date of tomorrow. I know this is impossible since it's still in Louisville, KY and has been there for 12 hours now due to TWO mechanical issues. I called UPS and they said that these are ALL DIFFERENT mechanical issues and that I was a 'truly unlucky person' to be experiencing issues at every stop including one unplanned city according to customer service!!! Original delivery date is tomorrow, website says today by the end of the day, customer service says two days from now at best. WHAT THE ***???

UPS in Cambridge, Massachusetts - Horrible Customer Service

I paid $67 for a package to be delivered next day. Not delivered and UPS won't give me a time for the delivery for the following day. For second day delivery, I could have shipped with UPS in $23. When I called customer service, they said that the receiver can go and pick up the package. They don't even bother to ask if that is an option or the person might not have transportation to pick up the package at their facility. Not willing to re-deliver today even though I paid for next day delivery. I would have been better off using USPS next day for one-third the cost ($19.95.)

Ups - Credit Card Shipping Review from Mount Laurel, New Jersey

1.0
Details
I live in a trailer park (where some *** live here)... and... I was waiting on a CREDIT CARD! Even the fact that I got a lot number AND that the name OF A BANK was on the enveloppe, UPS just didnt give a shot and left them stuck in the front door of the manager office! Which, by the way, WAS NOT EVEN HERE! I guess it's unless to say that they didnt ask for my signature because we had to look around for it, knowing it would be here today... I was lucky to get that, moreover when I needed it the same day cause we are moving! I used the service cause it was the only way for me to get it so fast, but if I have the option, I will NEVER use them AGAIN! It's not the first time they drop stuff up like that either....

Tell me how they lost a 5X8 46 lb package it's on the living room of one of their employees. I'll tell you one of their employees getting ready for vacation needed extra money sold it to a friend or stuck it in a corner until he or she gets back yes they are investigating just answering my emails is about as far as it has gotten. UPS in Inglewood, California - Delivery

On 6/15 I received an info notice that stated 1st attempt..when driver didn't alert me he was here, i was home. On 6/16 I noticed by tracking driver put 2nd attempt that he couldn't reach me when I was home once again. I called ups and told them to hold for me to pick up. I picked up on Thursday 6/18 and ups noted as if they delivered it when they wouldn't and didn't. I've left several messages for Customer Concern to call me regarding my complaint since 6/16 but have yet to hear from them. I believe this a horrible way for a company to run and don't think these driver should get away with this kind of behavior.

Everything bad you've heard about UPS is true!

It should be very simple - ticketmaster tickets sent via UPS UK. They don't have to be put on a plane, or a ship, guarded by the military or strapped to the leg of specially trained pigeon. But despite this, NOTHING in their email to me was accurate. The pick-up date was wrong, the delivery date was wrong. Their response - 'sorry'. I asked why ALL the information was inaccurate - 'it's automated'. Oh right, so it's nobody's fault because it's a SYSTEM that keeps cocking things up...again and again and again. This was the excuse of choice back in the 90's for so many companies but for UPS it's still going strong. Sadly, this postal system has become the scapegoat because I'm sure they would love us to believe that it has come to develop a mind of its own. However, I would prefer to believe that a system is only ever as good or bad as the bunch of human a***holes who put it in place. And UPS clearly has more than it's fair share.
