UPS in Los Angeles, California - Lost packages

I bought 3 packages which was $450 from Macy's, UPS was the carrier. They delivered to a wrong apartment letter H (mine is J). I asked the neighbor, but they said they did not receive them. So I lost my packages. This is the third time they have sent to my neighbors, but the last 2 times, I got mine back, but not this time. Even though I got money back from Macy's, but I want to do this review because this is not acceptable. they are so careless, the is a letter in front of the door. how can they read it wrongly I bought a big J letter to attach to the door to prevent the lost happen, but it has not changed any thing.

Ups Store Pickup Service Review from Glen Burnie, Maryland

i ordered a pacakage and waited all day for thr package to come. i received an email saying that a delivery had been attempted. Which was a lie because i sat in the house all day waiting for the package. When i called go complain they showed no sympathy or anything. I ended up changing the delivery to a store pickup near my house. They didn't inform me that if i did that it wouldn't be there for 2 more days. UPS has by far the worse customer service and their delivery is even worse. I will do everything in my power not to ever use them again!! I hate them.

On my E bay delivery status, UPS always states that "Receiver requests the package to be hold for pick up/Receiver agree to pick up the package at the UPS location ". The issue is that I never made any contact in anyway either by phone or email requesting UPS to hold the package for pick up. When I contacted them, they said that they do not make delivery in the Camp Creek Pkwy, GA area but I see their trucks making deliveries everyday around the area and just 300 yards from me. When I called and requested that they should tell the sender/seller that they don't do delivery in my area which a BIG FAT LIE, they said that they can't make such a truthful statement like that. Now UPS has delayed 6 days my package. UPS is really DECEITFUL and LIAR in all way possible!!!!!!

UPS in Scottsdale, Arizona - Boxes arrived torn apart, contents smashed. They refuse to cover because their boxes were not used.

I shipped two boxes and a 5'x6' carpet through a UPS Store in Honolulu, Hawaii. The cost was $300.00 I wrapped the carpet securely in thick plastic and it arrived intact. The two boxes, which were brand new boxes, were well packed with bubble wrap, foam chips and old clothing to pad the items. They were literally dumped at my door while I was not at home with boxes filthy, split open with packing material falling out and items smashed. It looked like they had played football with them! I immediately contacted the store in Honolulu and sent pics with my iPhone. They told me to call the main number which I did, however the guy I got on the phone was incapable of even noting my e-mail address correctly to receive info on how to submit a claim. So the next day I had to call again. I sent them everything they asked for including numerous pictures. A day later I received a form letter stating because I did not use THEIR boxes they would not honor my claim. I will never use UPS again! A friend who has to use them for his business, after hearing my story, said basically if you are going to use UPS to ship anything, you have to pack things to survive being thrown out of a plane without a parachute if you want them to have a chance at arriving in one piece. Shame on UPS! Next time I will use the United States Post Office- much cheaper and they actually treat their packages with care because they value their jobs!!

PAID FOR UPS BUT THEY SHIPPED IT VIA USPS

I went into UPS (Bijou St) to ship a letter. The gentlemen behind the counter asked me if I'd like to use USPS. I made it VERY clear absolutely NOT! I paid $11.84 and was given a tracking number. I went a few days later to check the my package had arrived. I input the tracking number only to have the UPS web tell me no information was available. So I called the 800 number who advised me that, MY PACKAGE WAS INDEED SENT VIA USPS DESPITE ME TELLING THE EMPLOYEE NO! After about 6 calls I go received a call back from the supervisor of said store asking if they could refund my money. I agreed, but I don't think the owner of this franchise will find out. I'll give that UPS is on their stuff but I blame the employee and his direct supervisors. These are all young children who are working there. Either they just plain don't care or they feel that the sign out front has their name on it. Regardless I will not go back to this location. If I wanted to use the USPS , I'd go there. CHECK YOUR STUFF

I am A wedding designer. I ordered table cloths for a wedding from New York to be shipped to Seattle on August 3rd. The company sent me all of the proper tracking updates via email as I requested, and sent the package out the same day. I received my first UPS email on the 3rd as well, with an estimated delivery date of 8/10. On Monday, Aug 10th at 5:35pm I received another email from UPS stating my package had been delivered to my porch. When I arrived home it was not present. I entered the tracking info and it said delivered, I talked to a rep via phone who also said it had been delivered, so I assumed it was stolen. The wedding was August 22nd. I had to pay out-of-pocket for different cloths which were not the proper match (I didn't trust doing another delivery) and the bride's mother WAS NOT HAPPY, obviously. I assure you, I heard about it. Today, August 25th, a package arrived.. my cloths!! TWO WEEKS LATE!!! I was not aware it took 3 1/2 weeks for a package which had a PAID 3-5 day shipping guarantee! Furthermore, could anyone PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY I receive a delivery email from the driver when the package wasnt acually delivered?????? I certainly cant get that answer from UPS!!! In fact, I couldnt get ANY kind of response from UPS until i put them on blast via Twitter! I am not a robot, I am A human being! Customer service IS NOT AUTOMATED SYSTEMS. I'm a person, I want to speak to a (COMPETENT) person!! I'M SICK TO DEATH of being redirected to websites for "convenience", or of only getting a response via a computer, and i'm SICK TO DEATH of having to navigate through 15 layers of automated b.s before I CAN actually talk to a person! If I ask to please speak to a supervisor I should get one! and if I get one I dont want b.s apologies to placate me while being talked in circles! I want results!!! As a wedding designer, my entire business relies on creating the perfect day, down to every last detail! My Reputation is EVERYTHING. It is one of the most important days in our adult life and people pay a lot to make it magical. UPS certainly destroyed that this month. I also run an online vintage shop, and normally print my shipping lables from UPS. Not any more. FedEx can have all of my business from now on. I wish I could upload all 3 emails! None of this is exaggerated and all of the dates are correct.

there is no solution, the wedding is over. Im tired of dealing with automated nonsense. I want REAL service. I want this story to go to a higher-up so proper changes can be made to the way UPS does business or I will: FedEX.

UPS in San Diego, California - Won't allow me to get my item.

The first problem is UPS had my item going to Atlanta, GA. I live in San Diego. It took me two days to get that situation fixed. The net problem was that I had a delivery that was suppose to come today. The UPS lady came scanned my item to give it to me and then told me she couldn't drop it off to me. I call UPS and they tell me that the shipper requested it be held until Friday. I call Home Depot and they tell me they have no idea why they would hold it when it already came to my door. This is not the first time this has happened. Lets just say I hate UPS.

Ups Shipping Review from Erie, Pennsylvania

Tonight, I arrived at the Yorktown Plaza UPS Store, Erie, PA at 6:00 PM (they are open till 6:30) only to be told that they only do fingerprinting from 10:30AM - 5:30 PM. No where are they any signs (near their posted hours on the window next to the front door or on their website) stating such. HELLO, UPS Folks - this is a 3 min. Process folks - thanks for being so accommodating towards folks that actual have to work 8-5. After we have this done (since you're the only location listed in Erie for such services), we will never ever set foot in your store again.

UPS in Hershey, Pennsylvania - Pickup request messed up and terrible customer service

This is a complaint regarding the worst service I have got from any courier company. i scheduled a pickup from ohio today but no one called or came for pickup. Pickup Request Number: 295820OKJI9. When I contacted you customer care they gave me such a hard time in communicating my problem to them. At once I thought I was talking in Hebrew. Then they told me that the local Ohio office would call me and discuss the situation. The lady who called me from Ohio North Canton office was unapologetic and she was trying to argue with me that it she cant do anything if their driver didnt bother to find out if this particular pick up request was fulfilled. She said that "our driver goes to your pick up location everyday and he pickedup 16 packages today, now the driver is gone and I cant help you". Ma'am it was your driver's fault that he didnt bother to check if he has missed picking up the 17th package request. When I asked if she could arrange the pickup tomorrow she said " i dont know when my driver would go there". Ma'am I have specifically mentioned that the package should be picked up between 12pm to 5 pm. you website doesnt say at any place that "we cannot stick to the time that we promise you" I have paid for the service and I should get what was reasonably mentioned to me before I pay for this service. If you cant do somthing please say it that "you cant keep up with time" I am really upset about the situation and also the way your representatives handled this case. Instead of trying to provide me with a solution they were arguing with me that it was my fault. And they are doing a favor to me by talking to me inspite of the fact that you charge for the services and its not free.

UPS customer service

I don't have an issue with the UPS drivers. I think they do a very good job. Over paid, but a good job. My issues are with the UPS company itself. Customer service representatives on the phone are the most rude people i have ever spoken to. That directive to be like that has come down from higher ups that have never seen the inside of the businesses they serve and have no idea how they work. I live for the day that I will be able to retire and call UPS and tell them what I think of their company after 30+ years of fighting with them.
