Ups - Delivery Service Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Thank you for the information. I have been looking for an address of some sort to make a complaint. I should have had two parcels delivered over a week ago and each day I ring to ask where the parcels are im told the driver could not find my address because the address was wrong of which I assured them that it was the correct address. For over a week they have said I have two parcels on the van and last night I was told I only had one parcel as the other had an incorrect address on it. There is plenty more that has gone on but I won't go on about it anymore. They are an absolutely unorganised company with a diabolical service. I will never ever order anything again if they use UPS for delivery.

UPS is a nightmare .....avoid like the plague

I am into imports and committed the mistake of asking the vendor from Europe to send our consignment through any courier ,they sent through UPS and my worst nightmare became true . As I write this ,it has been 60 days and we have yet to receive the consignment and UPS employees have lied on emails to us . All our prospective orders have been cancelled due to the UPS delay . Trust me when I say ,specially entrepreneurs ,I will show proof of how these UPS guys lie and cheat . Never deal with this company ....in fact I had wanted to file a case in consumer court but since I want to resell the hood ,consumers courts so not take such cases. If I could give a minus rating,I would give UPS minus marks .

UPS Failed to keep its promise

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered something from Amazon for an office holiday party for 14 Dec 2016. I paid for next-day delivery, for 13 Dec 2016. I got two emails from UPS stating the package was scheduled for deliver on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, between 11:15 AM and 3:15 PM. Three hours later, I get an email stating the delivery date had been changed to Wednesday, December 14, 2016. I called customer service to find out why. They fed me a line of nonsense, saying the package arrived from the shipper at 9:23 PM Monday night, so there was no way UPS could possibly deliver it on Tuesday because there just wasn't enough time. I pointed out that I got TWO messages CONFIRMING a Tuesday delivery, then a change without any reason given. Got the same line of miserable garbage about there not being enough time. I pointed out that UPS pretty much runs 24/7, even thought they don't DELIVER on Sundays, planes and trucks are still moving freight, so when the package arrived at a particular point on a Monday night is pretty much irrelevant. More fertilizer slung my way by a customer service rep who now sounded exasperated. I just thanked the lady for her time and ended the call before I totally lost my composure. If she had told me it had to be delayed due to a high volume of holiday shipping, I could have understood that. If she had said there was a problem with sorting/handling, so the delivery got delayed, fine, it happens. Either of those situations would have left me annoyed, but understanding. Instead, she fed me a line of complete BS, thinking I was *** enough to buy off on it. That left me flat pissed off. She just contributed to why people jokingly refer to UPS as "OOPS." At least Amazon was cool enough to refund me my shipping charges, since now the package falls under the free 2-day shipping. UPS literally sucks

I ordered a new iphone 7. They were supposed to text me updates when it went out for delivery so i could be home to sign for it. I got nothing. They came and no one answered because we weren't home. An attempt was supposed to be made on monday and we made sure someone was here, it never came. Now they have lost the package and i still have no package it's been over a week now. They are still trying to find it. Everyone on the phone tells me something different each time and no one really knows what is going on. I have another patagonia vest coming UPS as well, and that package is delayed now because of a late trailer? this is ridiculous and if i could never use UPS again i would.

UPS shows they left a package at my front door? It was left ON my truck hood, which was parked IN the street. Package was dirty like had been rolled in the dirt and was open on one end.

Delivery/tracking said left at close to 6pm last night, on 9/30, but wasn't left here at all. We were outside at that time, and saw truck go flying past our house. It didn't stop at any of the houses on this street at all.

And don't appreciate a dirty box being left on the hood of my nice truck either.

I agree with Anonymous in North Fork. Probably left at wrong address.

Looks like it's from Doctors F&S..maybe UPS was scared of your dog? Might be why your neighbors didn't leave on your porch..lol..I'm kidding.

Guest

Possibly it was misdelivered to a neighbor over a street (since the truck went past your house) who left it on your truck after they got home and found it? It looks as if they might even have opened it and then discovered it wasn't theirs. This happens to us now and then, though more often with the postal service, and it it is delivered to one neighbors house they just keep it.

Guest

You really think the Driver is going to take the box and clean it up like new?

Guest

It's not a nice truck, looks like a POS

Ups - Vehicle Driver Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Today i heard the delievery man at my door got up to answer the door, but as i opened the door he was walking back to his truck, i waited for him to see me, he looked my way and pulled off, i yelled for him and he sped off faster. So i called immediately to ups customer service. After speaking with someone, he asked for a tracking number, i looked through my email and finally found this tracking number. All while im on the phone i can hear the rep talking in the background and aaying my street name and laughing. Mind you. After the rep found my package from the tracking number he just says its been delivered, im like he just pulled off so how is my package delievered. I go back to look again and this time walked outside and around to the other side of my porch to find it on my lawn chairs. Thank God i found them, but they couldve been stolen if i hadnt looked around my porch. I feel like this is not professional. How can you just leave a smaller package on the porch without leaving a message on the door or something..i could see if its a big box and sometimes not even then. My same kind of package that i had ordered prior to this one was stollen. They said it was delievered and they probably left it on the porch like they did this one. So i tell the rep to give them some advice that packages are getting stolen so you may not want to keep leaving packages on people's porches without their knowledge. And he just says i apologize for the drivers rude behavior and is there anything else he can help me with. WHAT. This is crazy. If you cant hand the package over to the customer why leave them at all. I came to the door within 5 sec of him knocking said hello as he was walking to the truck. Instead of him walking faster he couldve said your package is over their to me. But he walked faster..then he gets on the truck look dead at us, im thinking hes gonna say something, nothing he starts the truck up and pull off like the cops are chasing him smh. Eventhough i came to the door fast enough, i feel like they should do the three knock rule and then leave a notice and take the package back to be re delievered another day. This is the first time for me, may or may not use this service again

You're an ***. I worked at UPS for 25 years and can't stand the company more than anyone, but your comments are ridiculous to say the least.

Is this the first time ever receiving a delivery from a carrier? Any carrier I'm talking, cause they all operate similarly. Don't leave the package on the porch? Huh?

Seriously?? That's the first and most common place a driver is supposed to deliver to. Why? Cause the porch is generally how a person gets into their house, and please don't say garage, you know what I'm saying, or at least you should.

It's also where the mail is delivered each day. In other words, it's generally the most common point of entry, therefore the most likely place the customer will see the delivery.

Now, where at on the porch? Drivers are trained to deliver packages out of sight and out of weather. If he left the package on the other side of the porch, it was most likely because it was either safer from being seen by passerby's, was out of in-climate weather, or both, than it would be leaving it right at the door.

If it took you time to find the package on your own porch, it'll take a thief longer. Now unless you have strange people frequenting your porch all the time, where he left it was probably good, definitely better than right at your door in plain sight where anyone walking or driving by can see it and steal it, cause if you weren't home, who knows how long it would be sitting there for all to see.

This brings me to your *** "wait for you, leave a note" take. Unless you live in the hood where crime rate is high (do you?), there's a thing called driver release.

That means the driver may release the package without a signature so long as the package is in a reasonably safe area, out of weather and out of sight. They don't have to leave a note. Why? Because most people know when they order something, and when you order something being shipped to their house, they know a package will be arriving soon and will check their PORCH each day to see if arrived or follow the tracking to get a better idea of when it will be delivered....duh.

IF, you want personal contact with the driver each time you receive a package, request a signature only release instead of a driver release. Additionally, with regards to leaving a note to let you know where it's at on your own freakin' porch, one, that takes time to do of which the driver doesn't have...trust me, and two, why don't you just have the driver leave a flag letting everyone know you have a package and draw an arrow to where it's at. If he leaves a note on your door to let you know you have a package and where it's at, would he not be letting everyone else know too? huh?

hmm? Delivery notices are left when a customer is not home in order to notify the customer when a delivery attempt was made, but requires something from the customer, such as a signature, in order to be delivered.

Look, you have no freakin' idea how little time these drivers have unless you've worked there. This is precisely why I hate the company, well, that and a few other reasons, because the company's expectations are more often than not....ridiculous. The drivers bust their *** every day just to get done before everyone goes to bed practically sometimes, and I'm not talking during Christmas either.

You, being on the other end, don't see this. You think, how long does it take to leave a note, or wait for the customer to get their *** to the door. You have no idea how fast a few seconds can add up as the day progresses. You're only looking at yourself, like you're the only delivery they have.

Their protocol is this: deliver the package safely out of sight and weather, and knock on the door (not repeatedly when driver releasing) or ring doorbell to let the customer know they have a package. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Your driver did his job correctly. You yourself said you were at the door in seconds, you even made eye contact with the driver.

Obviously, that indicated you received a package, one you were most likely awaiting, no? What, you want the driver to sit down and have coffee with you?

All this should be common sense to anyone with a brain, and unless you've been living under a rock, you've most likely received at least one delivery in your life prior and should know how things work by now. People like yourself are chronic complainers that have nothing else better to do but make nonsense out of things that make sense and you make me sick.

Fed up with their lies...

For two consecutive days (1 and 2 December 2016), I was expecting parcel deliveries (a different parcel each day) by UPS in Brussels, at a delivery point that I selected through their web-site. For both parcel deliveries, I received in the morning of the delivery day a message informing me of a change of the delivery point to a new one locared at about 1.5 km further than the originally selected one (but much closer to the central UPS depot in Brussels - Diegem). As I got suspicious on the 2nd day, I asked their call-centre why the new change of the delivery point and their representative that answered the phone told me because the original delivery point that I selected was close on that day. I later in the day found out, however, that the relevant shop was all day open on that day... I called them again to complain and before I even explained the case, the new representative told me that they made an attempt to deliver at my home and as I was not there (2nd lie as there was always a person in my place on that day and the prior arrangement never included home-delivery) they delivered the parcel at the access In my new complaints, one of their managers replied and said that the originally selected by me delivery -point was full of parcels on that day and so could not reveive mine, in addition... No idea who was right or not but probably either a chaotic organisation of UPS in Belgium and/or incompetence of their staff and/or a systematic approach to deliver the parcels in closer to them locations ignoring the wishes of their customers. I will never use UPS again in the futue...

Ups - Uggs Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My experience is a very long and frustrating one.One month ago , my package ,$150 value ,was lost .They started an investigation wich they initially told me will last 8 work days. After 2 weeks I call both UPS and Footwear etc. ,the website I ordered from.First, the UPS didn't have an answer for me so I called Footwear etc. The operator told me the first UPS conclusion of investigation was that I aknowledged the package. Than Footwear etc requested another investigation wich again, last 2 weeks. After couple of bad reviews and phone,I finally find an email contact from the Footwear etc wich worked and a lady tells me to cobtact my building management to ask for authorization of checking the cameras.Really, after all this I have to become a detective just to receive my boots I paid for? After a very short email where I said I will sue the both companies, another lady calls me and says that a replacement for my boots was made.Yes! Thank you! Thinking that everything it's over ,I'm waiting for UPS updates on the app. The first status was that in couple of days a delivery will be attempted but I need to sign online.I click on sign botton and I get this: " you are not the receiver the package was addressed to" :)))))Really? So I just waited for my package to e delivered.I assumed they will leave me an invoice wich I can sighn to authorize the delivery even if I'm not home.So they did,I signed it and left it on the mail box.Yesterday I was home all day ,they came by 8.40 and guess what? They didn't leave the package. So I start callin the motherf....again. I talked with the robot wich was more efficient that the operators and I change the status of the package to "to be hold for picking up". That happened yesterday.Today I receive an email wich says the status was changed back to" another delivery will be attempted on Monday".I call again ,the operator changed it again to "on hold for pick up" . Well, here I am,still checking my emails to make sure the status will not be changed back to "another delivery will be attempted". And I'' thinking if I should waste more of my energy to fill a complaint for the drivers.

All ways deliver to wrong address

I live on a street with the name of Jeffrey Rd., and there is another road around the corner with the spelling of Jeffery Rd. This poor man who lives on the other Jeffery Rd. keeps bringing thing over that UPS Keeps sending to him instead of me. The problem is they aren't reading the name right. I feel sorry for this poor man bringing my orders over from UPS. I've called 5 times about it, talk to the same people and it continues to happen. I'm going on facebook and Twitter and going to blast UPS on both sites. I'm so tired of the wrong person getting my deliveries!!!!

Ups - Delivery Service Review

Updated by user Dec 27, 2016

Just got my packages today, AFTER Christmas. I am half tempted to send them back now.

That was not fun trying to explain to my children why the gifts were not there on Christmas for them. Thanks UPS.

Original review Dec 25, 2016
I never fill these out but this time I feel it's very necessary. This year I ordered all of my children Christmas gifts online as soon as I had enough money.

I am a working mom of 4 sweet little boys who sometimes struggles to make ends meet. My children are always amazingly understanding with this, so I wanted to give them a very special Christmas this year with lots of fun toys they aren't usually able to get. All week before Christmas the orders were on track (according to your website) up until very late the night before Christmas Eve. Then it said that my orders would come on Tuesday the 27th.

I spoke with 4 different customer service reps with 4 different answers. The last one told me that 2 of my orders (and possibly all 4) would be in urbana by Christmas Eve. So I sent a friend to pick them up for me hoping my children would never know there was a problem with the gifts. They were told that the orders were not there (even though your website said that 2 of my orders were in fact at the Urbana Il location).

You should know that all 4 of my children are under the age of 10 years old and all believe in Santa. How exactly is a parent supposed to explain that Santa wasn't bringing them gifts this year until after Christmas because they were not delivered yet? I am writing to you in tears very late on Christmas Eve. Had I known ahead of time that I would have NO gifts for my kids on Christmas, I would have somehow found someway to get them a little something.

This is devastating to me as a mother who is preparing herself to see the hurt in her children's eyes as they try to tell her that it's ok and they understand. I am very disappointed in your customer service and your website.

I understand that this time of year must be your busiest. I do not understand giving a mother false hope, ESPECIALLY this time of year, that her gifts will be there for her to give her children.

Problems here in central Madrid again. This happens repeatedly and I'm heartily tired of being lied to, treated like an ***, having to do UPS' work for them and paying for the "privilege" to boot.

Shockingly stressful timewasters who trot out any generic excuse in order to try to cover up the fact that somewhere along the chain of command for delivery practice, laziness and lying became the order of the day. I absolutely refuse to go to the dump of an access point, where the last time, after having to spend half an hour convincing the owner of the fruit and veg shop which passes for an access and collection point, that my package was there according to UPS tracking information (there was no InfoNotice as the driver had clearly been nowhere near my building). I was finally pushed into a back storeroom and told to hunt for the package myself in a mountain of disarray and disorder. On this more recent occasion, two days ago, I was at home waiting for the package when I was suddenly informed by the UPS tracking page that I wasn't actually there!

I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt and accept a mistake, but not on multiple occasions.

This has become common practice with UPS and this time I will not be fobbed off with more generic responses to cover up downright deception. I have suggested quite vociferously that Amazon stop using UPS in Spain.
