Ups Shipping Review from Brentwood, Tennessee

I ordered a package via UPS, and they made a delivery attempt during the week (when I am never home). Instead of having the option to go pick it up outside of work hours, it's in a locked warehouse that they don't have access to on the weekends. I'll need to wait until Tuesday, and just have it delivered to work. Four days late, because I have a job, and couldn't be there when they decided to stop by - Incredibly frustrating.

I waited for a package all day and eventually had to go to work. On the ups website it said we could leave instructions for the driver as to what to do with the package. I left a note saying to go to the side door and asking my renter to sign. I come home with my note ripped on the floor and a delivery notice with ticks that don't even touch the squares. They even spelled the name wrong...Not only that but the day is about to end and I can't even pick up my package from the ups access point. *** service.

paid to have a check overnighted to my residence, made arrangments to pick it up,according to there tracking it arrived at designated location contacted UPS by phone they confirmed the package was there. left to pick it up. upon arrival at the hub, Sorry sir we can't find it i waited while they looked for the package no luck, The 2 ladies working the counter were the worst customer service people you could imagine, i got the supervisor involved he wasn't much better. I still have not received the package ,no sorry, kiss my ***, anything. I will not use or refer anyone to this poorly ran,unorganized, unfriendly, company again.

I signed up for UPS My Choice last year. Why; because I thought it you make delivery options easier when I'm not home, because I live in an apartment. BULL.... the drivers completely ignore any delivery changes in the system, each time leaving the BS infonotice stating I was not available for delivery...WTF. I called their so call customer service (call center) to complain and the person kept telling me the driver was only doing his job and didn't want to risk leaving it at the door and the leasing office would not sign...again I say BULL....What's the purpose of the MyChoice...dosent' it release you from all liability and authorize the driver to leave the package where I selected in MyChoice? Well tomorrow is Saturday...good luck trying to get it delivered before Monday...so I told CS I would pick it up..it was stated it was still on the truck but I would receive a call within an hour to go pick it up at the center. The call came within 3 minutes...the person stated that the driver would not be back before the center closed and I could pick it up on Sat. between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. WHAT A LOAD OF ***!!!!

I had an 84lb bookshelf delivered because it was too heavy for me to have carted home myself. The UPS guy needed a trolley to get it from the truck to my apartment, yet did not offer to help me bring it up to the third floor of the walk up. As I struggled to even get the package, which was as tall as I am, in the front door, he was pressing me to sign. Seeing that I couldn't even lift it over the lip of the doorway, he helped me maneuver it into just inside the front door in a very exasperated manner, grabbed the signature device and SHUT the front door behind him! I was stunned. It took me a good 20 minutes to bring the bookshelf up the two flights of stairs, one step at a time. If I had the help of another person, it would have taken less than 5 minutes. UPS really knows how to pick them. Add onto the fact that there were stickers everywhere that indicated that it was a fragile package and the corners should be attended to with care; the package was battered with half the tape already peeling off.

I paid extra for 2 day delivery to my apartment... I had to drive to the UPS Facility on the other side of town 2 days after they failed to deliver my package.

Then they wouldn't give me a refund for the inconvenience of having to go way out of my way to get what i paid for, AND THEY WERE RUDE ABOUT IT!! The guy was seemingly offended that i would dare ask for a refund. They claimed the listed address was incorrect because the Road name and apartment complex name was together. If that was way too much for a package delivery company to handle after i paid extra then they don't deserve anybody's business.

I would like to say that any rookie driver could have found my apartment as its location is also on a one way street. It doesn't require a lot of manpower or brains to figure it out...

I will never use their services again and will gladly pass on my disgust with this incompetent place of business.. Thank you!

On July my mum posted the original document from Russia to UK. I have needed this documents to organize my passport. Everything was ok till the letter came to Edinburgh. UPS Edinburgh managed to loose it somewhere. I cant trust UPS anymore. I m dealing only with DHL. Also they have being making refund since July as well. I chase them up today again. I m wondering when this story will finish. UPS provides a poor service which we cant accept. I will never use UPS in the future. Hope my story would be an example for everyone. Nataly McDonald

Ups - Pick Up Service Review from Houston, Texas

It sucked I paid extra for two day delivery and waited all day at home the delivery man didn't even honk or tried to leave the delivery inside the gate he literally passed by and put a paper in the gate and left I then called customer service and they told me they would call in an hour when packaged was ready to go get picked up and they never called back ,we've also had important packages with bank cheecks left where anybody could pick them up and damaged items because they left them where dogs could get them they are the worst shipping company out there from my personal experience
