UPS in Jackson, Louisiana - Package Delivery

I had four large expensive boxes delivered to my house, the *** driver left all four packages visible for people on the street to see. He didn't have sense enough to take them back to the warehouse and leave a note letting me know they would be there to pick up. These four large boxes are sitting on my driver way. Hope no one steals them before I get home. He didn't care if someone took them, after all he didn't pay for them. Some UPS Drivers just don't have no sense or care about the customers. I will never use this carrier ever again. Feeling very angry and upset.

I have never wrote a complaint in my life but this was over the top. I have had an account with UPS for years. I had a shipment sent to me that was supposed to take one day since the company I ordered from is a little over an hour away. It shipped on 9/22 and on 9/24 I called and asked why it was not delivered and gave them the tracking. They informed me that they didn't have the correct zip code so I gave it to them (They didn't call me or the shipper but I had to call them). They had the address correct except for the zip code and it only took me 10 sec. to Google for the zip. They said it will be there tomorrow. Well, tomorrow arrived and on 9/25 I called again and they said they didn't have the correct address and I gave it to them AGAIN. They said it will be Monday. Well Monday arrived and when I tracked the package it said incorrect address AGAIN. I called UPS customer service and they said they didn't have the correct address AGAIN. The lady updated my address FINALLY while I was on the phone and said it's at the Dallas location. I went to Dallas and then googled the address customer service gave me and it was not correct. I called back and customer service said it was on a truck going to another city because the address got updated. I informed her it just got updated. How can it get scanned, loaded and on it's way to another city in less than 15 min. After arguing with her for 30 min. telling her it was impossible for address get updated, scanned and loaded on a truck in less than 15 min. at 10:00 in the morning. She said she will look into it and have someone call me back. Well, it was about 5 hours away by San Antonio. They lady was nice enough to ship it next day to the customer at no charge. Well, come Tuesday I received the second part of the package (2 of 2). The packages were labeled together (package 1 of 2 and 2 of 2) Again I had to call and explain the situation and asked if they can send me a label for the second package that was supposed to be shipped with the first package. Long story short and days of putting off meetings, waiting around all day on a package and hours of phone calls, I was told there is nothing they can do and I will have to cover the cost of Next Day on top of the shipping cost of it coming to me. Mind you that I only received 1 box but got charged for both. I'm canceling my account and recommend everyone go with FedEx. I hear their customer service is top notch

UPS in Indianapolis, Indiana - False delivery details

Details
Received a delivery confirm message in my package tracking, even had a note from the driver stating it was left on the front porch, but no package. Asked all my neighbors and looked around house and yard, nothing. Called and opened a lost or stolen package claim. 3 days later the package was delivered with a package addressed to a house a block away. What is the point of tracking and delivery notes if they aren't at all accurate or truthful? I called UPS and told them I had someone else's package, but since it was listed as "delivered at front porch" they couldn't do anything. I drove it to the person's house and explained to them that UPS sucks.

Fragile must mean throw me in UPS

I ordered a very expensive hand plane online and it was shipped UPS. In my excitement to receive it I waited all afternoon for its arrival. To my horror as I opened the door to greet the driver coming up my walkway my package was airborne, tossed at my doorstep from several feet away. The driver, not expecting his careless deed to be seen quickly asked how I was and scurried away. Only leaving me time enough to call him a *** as he sped off. They are very lucky that my new tool is undamaged. I will be installing a security camera now as that's likely the only way that I can prove that the driver is responsible. In the past almost every package delivered by UPS has had some sort of damage that causes me shipping costs and headaches. Of course their customer service department has assured me that their "professionals" treat every parcel with care and certainly wouldn't allow an item to be so carelessly handled. What a pantload!

I shopped two boxes of motorcycle equipment from Prescott Az to Myrtle Beach SC. UPS destroyed both boxes, lost items, and even broke a Helmet,, INSIDE THE BOX !!!! They declined any responsibility and were extremely rude doing so. Never again and stear clear of the female in Prescott. She really should be changing tires on the trucks.

Just look at the box.. Looks like they tossed it all over the place, maybe dropped it a few times, and let it get crushed. And to top it off, they "misplaced" my item to make it take longer to arrive. I used an entire bundle of bubble wrap and newspaper to ensure its safety. I didn't get insurance cause I didn't know how to "prove" it's worth. Just so overly upset with UPS. I would highly recommend to not ship valuables. Never shipping through them again after this terrible experience.

I was waiting for a package that should be delivered on Saturday then they say for inspection of the package the gonna delivered on Monday and I received a paper with my address with a broken box .. In a ups evenloped with nothing inside ..so the item were lost this is the inspection I think they open the package and stole what's inside and then told the sender the item is lost .. This is the 20 time this happen .. I don't like ups poor service ..

UPS EL CENTRO, CA. I was to have an important envelope over night for Saturday delivery. NOTHING Monday before 2 pm I go to my apartment mail box for my mail and find an notice that says sorry we missed you. I been waiting in my apartment all day, why would the dumb-*** go to my mail box. I do not live in my mail box. I started calling ups at 2 pm and complain. I had to make a number of calls and was told at 3;45 that the drive has left and there was no one to deliver the envelope. I would have to wait until tomorrow or go to the ups location. I told them with me being handicap,and had no one to go for me. Was told you'll have to wait until tomorrow. GREAT SERVICE UPS. UPS causes problems and does nothing to correct their bad service, the customer ends up suffering for UPS's lazy drivers. .

I am sick of the drivers cutting through my landscaped yard to get tothe nneighbors. There is no reason they have to walk on my decorated mulched area when there is a parking.lot two feet from my yard they can walk on.

Get police to come and escort you to the truck and declare no tresspassing. if you cannot get the truck and police there at the same time, get the company name and go to the company and have police meet you there to declare no tresspassing.

then if they walk on your yard again, you can have them arrested. you can also send a letter to the BBB to get the CEO involved in the tresspassing problem. or put up a thick hedge or fence. or trop wires, lol well, maybe not trip wires but i know how angry that kind of thing can make people.

i set my own yard up so that no dog, man, delivery person, neighbor, etc. can walk on my property! it works!!! no one violates my property now.

i watch the neighbors with dogs and cats and people on their property and *** and trash dropped on it, etc. my areca palms are on the entire perimeter of my property, and in the front, i have 4 landscaping ties high and two feet wide, with huge rocks and mulch in the bed. not even a dog gets up on it.

be creative and make a moat for yourself.

UPS - Poor Customer Service

I received an e-mail stating that I will receive a package between 1 and 5 pm on Thursday. I made arrangements to be home since the package required a payment. They did not show up and I received another e-mail that the package will be delivered next day between same times. I made arrangements to be home at that time again. Well, the package did not arrive. The e-mail I received this time was that a delivery attempt was made but there was no one home to receive it! I was home the whole time, there was no note at the door... When I contacted UPS they offered me to go pick up my package! I received a call that the driver said that he waited 5 min in front of my house. I can believe that the driver has spent 5 min in front of a house but that was not my house for sure. When I told that this is a poor customer service and they should not be charging me for delivery of my package they said that I should take this request to the shipper!! It is just infuriating how they have no value of their customer's time. I will avoid UPS in the future at any occasion. No one is perfect, we all mistakes, but good business know how to properly handle mistakes. UPS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
