spent 12 hours with customer service for nothing... They didn't want to compensate us after delivering 6 days later then expected... We lost $2 900 and our client because UPS. thank you guys! They told us 15 times we would be able to pick it up at the center. Our package ended up stuck inside a truck they couldn't get it out. The company employs 1% of america work force but they can't open a truck on a Saturday morning... I will make sure every order goes through DHL for at least the next 10 years! The wait time on the hotline is also the longest in the world...

Ups Shipping Review

I hate the ups delivery service in my area. I believe there smoking more than cigarettes. I gave my address why them fools take my 3 package and delivered them to a total different address. My kids need their clothes that I purchased for this weather I am so PISSED!!!!

Worst UPS Facility

545 Brush ave Bronx NY THIS LOCATION IS THE WORST UPS FACILITY I HAVE SEEN IN AMERICA HANDS DOWN AND I HAVE SEEN MANY. I had an urgent package sent to me by NEXT DAY delivery. I had to work on the day of the delivery so before I left for work I called UPS customer service at their 800 number and told them to have the package held at their facility so I can pick it up after work because I didn't want to take the chance of not getting my hands on the package that day. Customer service did so and I received an email from UPS my choice stating that the package is ready for pick up at the UPS facility. The email I got from UPS told me the package is at this facility ready for pick up and specifically said that I need to bring in a valid id and if i am not not the addressee that I need to bring in the tracking number. Thats all it said and no more. I get to the facility and I see 3 customers who were waiting by the side of the line for a supervisor because their packages had been mishandled by the facility. The customers were complaining bitterly that they had been there for 45 minutes waiting to be helped by the supervisor but the supervisor still never showed up and the staff member attending to other customers didn't seem to even care that they were complaining. On getting to me, I presented my state id card and tracking number to the UPS staff member and asked to pick up my package and he told me that they were not going to give me my package because the address on my id was my old address and that if I want my package i need to bring a piece of mail with my new address to go with my id. I explained to the man that UPS sent me an email with what I was required to bring, I even showed him the email from UPS on my phone but he still said no. I asked to speak to the supervisor and then proceeded to wait with the other 3 customers who had at this point been waiting for an hour for the coveted supervisor. He finally shows up about 15 minutes later and when I finally talk to him and told him my situation and that it took me an hour to get there and there is no way I can go get a bill and make it back before they close and furthermore if I was told to bring a bill before hand that I would have brought one. I pulled up the email from UPS on my phone and showed it to him. I even told him, but I was told by him that what they decide at that facility trumps what UPS customer service says so basically whatever customer services says is nonsense cause they make their own rules. At the end of the day I didn't get my package and this happened on a Friday, the facility is closed for the weekends and I needed my package for an event on Saturday and that is why it was sent by next day delivery but since this location makes their own rules that trump what UPS tells you in their emails I had to pay the price. Count down to when some one sues UPS cause of this facility cause companies get sued for a lot less

Why would a store say they are open til 6:30, but when in reality there are no associates til 6:30. The store is open til then, but the associates leave early. HOW CAN YOUR STORE BE OPEN TIL 6:30 WHEN THERE ARE NO ASSOCIATES TIL THEN? IT'S ***! I NEEDED MY PACKAGE TODAY AND I RUSHED TO THE *** STORE, EVEN CALLED TO DOUBLE CHECK WHAT TIME THEY CLOSE! The person who answered said they were opened till 6:30 and didn't bother to say, "by the way we won't be there til 6:30, but the door will.". I'm so pissed it's not even funny.

UPS Useless company

Received an email on Wednesday saying delivery by end of Thursday. Checked tracking on Thursday and I said still delivery by end of day. Spent all day in. Suddenly at 1830 email saying delivery now Friday. Phoned customer services to be told they hadn't picked the package up till Thursday. I said it would have been good to tell me this, they said it was reflected on the tracking - it wasn’t. I then asked for the package to be left in the porch but they said they could not tell the driver to do this even if I accepted responsibility. Infuriating and totally unhelpful.

these boxes look like they were rolled end over end. all four corners on all four boxes were crushed. this is stereo equipment in the original box showing its new stereo equipment and they just beat them to death. the cd changer hit so hard it crushed the 3 inch thing foam corner. this stuff is pretty tough and cd changer only weighs 6 pounds. the receivers corner was crushed, its packing was trashed. the turntable box looks to have had the least damage and the turntable looks ok. the playstation box was inside a bigger box that took a pounding, the inner box was so distorted that the corner flaps were ripped. and the controller and cables were flopping around inside the bigger box. these can from 3 different places over two days and only have the driver in common. i am putting video cameras up on my porch before i receive replacements

Do they work?

The shipper should have been cautious by not shipping the items without an external box.

Or it could be the shipper's fault that the packaging started off that way.

Btw, its just packaging. The important part is that the contents work.

Packages get beat to death before the drivers even see them. They get loaded beat up. Best bet for electronics especially heavier ones is brick and mortar always.

I wouldn't put all the blame on the driver - It's a group effort! The drivers in my area seem to take great care in packages.

I've had several deliveries from UPS, FedEx, USPS, all with crushed in sides/corners. Not all, maybe 3-5%.

I suspect that it's after it leaves the factory/whse.

Many places use a service to transport from the Factory/Whse to the shipper. In any event, some people just have no sense of pride, or care that these packages are actually someones personal property.

I've tried to track this down, and no-one knows when it happened!

im going to drive to nashville and exchange these item so i dont have to deal with this horrible driver, i will never order anything of value again if shipping is UPS

UPS in Jackson, Louisiana - Package Delivery

I had four large expensive boxes delivered to my house, the *** driver left all four packages visible for people on the street to see. He didn't have sense enough to take them back to the warehouse and leave a note letting me know they would be there to pick up. These four large boxes are sitting on my driver way. Hope no one steals them before I get home. He didn't care if someone took them, after all he didn't pay for them. Some UPS Drivers just don't have no sense or care about the customers. I will never use this carrier ever again. Feeling very angry and upset.

I have never wrote a complaint in my life but this was over the top. I have had an account with UPS for years. I had a shipment sent to me that was supposed to take one day since the company I ordered from is a little over an hour away. It shipped on 9/22 and on 9/24 I called and asked why it was not delivered and gave them the tracking. They informed me that they didn't have the correct zip code so I gave it to them (They didn't call me or the shipper but I had to call them). They had the address correct except for the zip code and it only took me 10 sec. to Google for the zip. They said it will be there tomorrow. Well, tomorrow arrived and on 9/25 I called again and they said they didn't have the correct address and I gave it to them AGAIN. They said it will be Monday. Well Monday arrived and when I tracked the package it said incorrect address AGAIN. I called UPS customer service and they said they didn't have the correct address AGAIN. The lady updated my address FINALLY while I was on the phone and said it's at the Dallas location. I went to Dallas and then googled the address customer service gave me and it was not correct. I called back and customer service said it was on a truck going to another city because the address got updated. I informed her it just got updated. How can it get scanned, loaded and on it's way to another city in less than 15 min. After arguing with her for 30 min. telling her it was impossible for address get updated, scanned and loaded on a truck in less than 15 min. at 10:00 in the morning. She said she will look into it and have someone call me back. Well, it was about 5 hours away by San Antonio. They lady was nice enough to ship it next day to the customer at no charge. Well, come Tuesday I received the second part of the package (2 of 2). The packages were labeled together (package 1 of 2 and 2 of 2) Again I had to call and explain the situation and asked if they can send me a label for the second package that was supposed to be shipped with the first package. Long story short and days of putting off meetings, waiting around all day on a package and hours of phone calls, I was told there is nothing they can do and I will have to cover the cost of Next Day on top of the shipping cost of it coming to me. Mind you that I only received 1 box but got charged for both. I'm canceling my account and recommend everyone go with FedEx. I hear their customer service is top notch

UPS in Indianapolis, Indiana - False delivery details

Details
Received a delivery confirm message in my package tracking, even had a note from the driver stating it was left on the front porch, but no package. Asked all my neighbors and looked around house and yard, nothing. Called and opened a lost or stolen package claim. 3 days later the package was delivered with a package addressed to a house a block away. What is the point of tracking and delivery notes if they aren't at all accurate or truthful? I called UPS and told them I had someone else's package, but since it was listed as "delivered at front porch" they couldn't do anything. I drove it to the person's house and explained to them that UPS sucks.

Fragile must mean throw me in UPS

I ordered a very expensive hand plane online and it was shipped UPS. In my excitement to receive it I waited all afternoon for its arrival. To my horror as I opened the door to greet the driver coming up my walkway my package was airborne, tossed at my doorstep from several feet away. The driver, not expecting his careless deed to be seen quickly asked how I was and scurried away. Only leaving me time enough to call him a *** as he sped off. They are very lucky that my new tool is undamaged. I will be installing a security camera now as that's likely the only way that I can prove that the driver is responsible. In the past almost every package delivered by UPS has had some sort of damage that causes me shipping costs and headaches. Of course their customer service department has assured me that their "professionals" treat every parcel with care and certainly wouldn't allow an item to be so carelessly handled. What a pantload!
