UPS in Surrey, British Columbia - Never Again..

I ordered an item, received a receipt from the store I purchased it from with my shipping address and tracking info. Then I received an email a few days later saying that "I received the package" and signed for it. Which I didn't so I called in and they tried telling me it was my fault and pretty much too bad call the store you bought it from, we dropped it at the right place. Then thankfully a neighbour from 3 blocks away called me and said UPS dropped it at their house. Okay, so I let it slide, and called UPS to tell them what happened, I wasn't going to make a huge deal about it. That was until I received unbelievable amounts of attitude from the customer service representative because I was letting them know what happened, she cut me off while speaking, had a rude sarcastic tone to her voice and treated me like an ***. Im not one to complain but seriously.... UPS GET YOUR *** TOGETHER

Ups would not give my autistic son our package

On September 19,2015 I sent my adult children who reside with me at the same address to pick up our package. When my children arrived at a scheduled pick up at Hewitt NJ location, The store clerk Marsh as he said that is his name and is the owner asked my kids for their id. My children proceeded showing their id and he told them with out a reason your mom has to pick up the package. I went down there and argued and was told it is his decision who is allowed and with no reason. So this Marsh so my autistic son and refused to hand over the package. This is a shame. I called ups 3 times and nobody contacts us back.

UPS in Boynton Beach, Florida - Lying about delivery

UPS contends that they tried to deliver a package at my home at 9:59AM on 10/19. My husband and I were home until 1PM and when we left the house there was no notice of failed delivery. We came home at 3 PM to a failed delivery notice saying that driver was there at 9:59AM. Item needed a signature so we made ourselves available for afternoon delivery between 3- 7 PM. Upon notification to supervisors, UPS claimed they would call us back but did not after 3 phone calls. Driver claims he is not near our home at 6PM but in reality is across the street. My husband went to meet him for the package. Driver is not our regular delivery man and lied to UPS and us about the delivery time. We want driver to own up to his lies and want to know the recourse on this. Sincerely, Stephanie Shaw

I had ordered a package and had been following it by the tracking number. On October 5, it was out for delivery, and then that night it updated to say that there had been a delivery exception at 7 PM. This was strange because I was definitely at home. Three days later when no one reattempted to deliver it and the tracking page still hadn'd provided any updates, I called a million numbers and finally someone at the post office helped. The package was being held at my post office. Mind you, nobody left a note or a delivery slip or reattempted delivery. Am I supposed to just psychically figure out that I have to go to the post office to get it? The official reason was a "problem with the address" but I looked ten times and found no errors in how I had type my address, and my building and street are well marked. Stupidest company ever but no real incentive to give good service.

People always complain about the USPS. I ordered some things from Staples office product and it came with free two day shipping to there Missoula store which I thought was cool because I had an appointment on the 13th and would pick it up. No luck, stopped into the store at 1:30 and it was not there. Check out UPS delivery system......have to read from bottom to top...... HORRIBLE customer service... I paid for expedited shipping for a purchase from B&H photo on Friday 10/16/15,...at 9:30 am,... and was promised that the package would be at my door on Saturday 10/17/15... before the end of that day... I then receive a tracking notification that my package was "LEFT BEHIND" at the sorting facility in Queens, so I called and spoke to someone who sounds like they just came to this Country last night,... and was told very non-chalantly that my package will arrive on MONDAY that there was a delay... I demanded to speak to a supervisor... and he said that he didn't know where my package was, and he was UNABLE to reach anyone at the sorting center in Maspeth... he then told me that basically UPS runs a skeleton crew on Saturdays and I would have to wait until MONDAY.

UPS - Electric Fireplace Delivered Smashed
My long awaited electric fireplace arrived yesterday. As I picked up one end of the 55 lb box, I knew instantly it was damaged. I could hear all the little pieces of glass moving in the box like pebbles. We took it into and the house, opened the top flap and didn't need to go any further, glass everywhere. UPS knew this was damaged before they loaded it onto the local delivery truck, no way anyone could not have known by the sounds alone and the condition of the box. The way this fireplace was packaged, UPS must have dropped it off the dock to substain that amount of damage. Why deliver it? Why not return it right then and there, or notify the company shipping it to let them know and to send a replacement? Poor service. Box wasn't even stashed on my large porch, just right out in front for the whole world to see and possibly steal. Thanks UPS! Tracking #1Z26W74E0379721545

UPS and probably every other shipping company abuses packages no doubt. Best bet for expensive fragile-y items is brick and mortar.

UPS in Dover, England - Worst courier service imaginable

I ordered a package from USA. It arrived in UK within four days which is great. Unfortunately, the final fifty miles of its journey will have taken five days ( if I actually ever receive it). I was advised it would be delivered - sometime - on Friday. I would be at work and tried to change the delivery to my work address just four miles from my home. However, to make that change would mean that delivery was delayed for another two days! Why, when the driver would be passing my work to get to my home? I therefore paid the import tax by telephone and requested that package be left with neighbour. Driver refused to leave package because he had not been advised that the tax had been paid. Ok, fine. Can you deliver Saturday when I will be at home? No, because delivery is expedited. I will be at work Monday, can you deliver to my work? Not until Wednesday! Ok, can I collect from depot? Not until Monday when I am work. I am going on holiday Tuesday, so I guess I won't be getting my package anytime soon. Probably be sent back to USA by then! I would not use this courier again even if it was for free!
