Might I suggest trying FedEx. UPS has made some changes to their shipping, pricing and overall processing and delivery services.

UPS will now transfer some smaller packages to a local post office for final delivery as opposed to UPS actually making the final delivery. This can add an additional day or more for the package to be processed through the post office's sorting system and reach its final destination. So, even though you paid for UPS for their delivery services thinking UPS would tender your package from point A to point B this is no longer the case.

No doubt this is why some of your final package deliveries are taking longer since the packages have been rerouted/transferred by UPS to a local post office USPS facility for final delivery.

I don't think FedEx transfers packages to post offices for final delivery like UPS.

But I may be wrong in assuming this. But at least FedEx still makes Saturday residential address deliveries.

Hope this helps explain why some of your packages may be taking a bit longer to reach their final destination.

I have been dealing for 5 days now with UPS. I have spoken to Las Vegas, Florida, Philippines and Central America (will not tell me country) They just tell you whatever story they want to come up with. So my 2nd day AIR takes 6 days to get to me. This was supposed to be a present for my son and it was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago. UPS MyChoice is a scam!

So I was away for the holidays and knew all my packages will be arriving while I was away. UPS left all my Black Friday packages at my apartment doorstep for 5 days! I left a HUGE note on my door saying DO NOT DELIVER but since I am in enrolled in UPS MyChoice, they were "obligated" to leave it at my doorstep. Funny thing is, they left a "we missed you" note on my door for the CHEAPEST FREAKING PACKAGE! Why not do that for a box that says Apple, Sharp, Best Buy and J. Crew on it!

Ups Shipping Review from New York, New York

Please get this UPS driver off of my case. All of a sudden he is demanding ,for no apparent reason that I sign for every delivery. There are 48 other apts.,in my blg. and no one is being made to sign for anything.Ive been getting deliveries for 5 yrs.and no one has treated me like this. This is very demeaning and slanderous. I will not sign for anything just because he says so. I've done nothing wrong. This is making me serious I'll in several ways. I need someone to help me. I've had all my packages rerouted. He is making my life a living ***. Please help me end this night mare. I need my paid packages. He is very sarcastic and nasty. Do I need to consult with an attorney????

Iam having a terrible stressful experience with UPS.A couple of months I sent my friend, in a county no. of me, a 20.00 little gift. Almost 2 mos went by and I never got an acknowledgement from her, which was quite unusual, couldn't reach her. I then assumed the gift could have been stolen, since she had things taken already from her porch. I called the company and told them she never received it. They were very nice a replaced the 20.00 item. Come to find out she did not receive it. A Week later I had more ups deliveries coming,which I have been getting here, where Ive been living for 5 yrs. All if a sudden, this nasty started started telling me, for now on I have to sign for every package. Not paying attention, I foolishly signed for it. I said why am I being singled out and made to sign for all of my packages, all of a sudden. He quietly said BECSUSE of my claim. All I did was report 1 item missing, one county no. of me.I don't believe not in this driver area. I had nothing to do with this missing I purchased. I have been purchasing hundreds and hundreds of items from the shopping clubs and elsewhere for over 5 yrs and I never had this problem from a driver. In 5 yrs yrs I had one item missing in my blg. It was replaced and there was never an issue. My neighbors in my blg. also had some items missing or stolen and they were replaced without an issue. Iam deffinately not going to sign for any packages, ever, when no one in my blg. had to start signing after a loss. Iam being singled out by this nasty piece of work driver.This has become a nightmare for me. It is sooo demeaning, and worse than that, slanderous. Iam not going to be policed by ups or anyone else. That will the day when I've done nothing. If this nightmare is not ended soon Iam consulting an Attorney. I was told that all this is coming from that----- driver. Iam sooooooo stressed out from this it's horrid!!!!!!!!!!!! I have notified the customer service at the 800 #I am also calling and emailing UPS, at the main hub in Georgia. I have more deliveries Iam waiting for. Two of them are health related and I have to have them ASAP.!!!! I have notified all the shopping channels and the people I do business with that if they see anything that says 1 2 or 3 attempt sent to them in an email, they are all erroneous and we're held from me on purpose because I am not signing anything unless it's very expensive electronic equipment from Fed ex, which I've signed for in the past. This is one horror senero for me!!!!!

I have never been a fan of UPS

I have shipped 1000-1500 packages annually for the past 9 years. I have never been a fan of UPS, and the list of reason grows. First, my husband received shipment of a boat prop that looked like it had been delivered by a parachute with *** in it. UPS was clearly at fault, and they refused to honor their "insurance". Over the years, I have tried to use the local UPS Store. When I call for rates, I give them measurements and weights, yet the actual price always ends up higher than what they quote over the phone. I have tried using the UPS website with about 85% success because some technicality in how the form is filled out will stop me from completing the process. Occasionally, one of my customers will choose UPS, and I will always try to switch it (and usually save money doing it). Finally, a man contacted me (who knew my husband), and he said he represented a shipping service and wanted to compare pricing in order to win my business. I gave him my shipping records (mostly USPS and some FedEx). Several weeks later, he sheepishly told me that they could not compete with the pricing that I was already getting. He then revealed that he represents UPS. Well I could have told him as much.

This happened to me as well! I shipped a bunch of my belongings back home and when I opened my box I noticed a few items were missing including my Apple TV and a bunch of other electronics! I am horrified that such disgusting thieves are employed with a company that we are supposed to have faith in when it comes to delivering things that we PAY to get delivered. I hope the person gets good use out of my things because when karma gets them I hope it'll get them hard. I never wish ill on people but some people are just disgusting, whoever raised these people did a horrible job of doing so.
