Well done for posting this link as they told me that my valuable electronics parcel at was left outside in my blue bin at 11pm ?? Obviously i didnt sign for it and no card was left My bin is full and wet and dirty from recent bad weather and there was no electronic goods left in it Rang them up and was told it was definitely left there which it wasnt and that the integrity of the driver was not in question thus inferring that i was lying Absolutely livid and there was no parcel left in my bin as ive been using it a lot due to being X-Mas also what kind of courier thinks its ok to leave valuable parcels containing fragile electronic goods unsecured outside in a damp filthy bin at 11pm?? Either way i now have to take it up with the seller for non delivery Thanks for complaints link as i like you coudnt get any info for complaints procedure

UPS in Hodgkins, Illinois - Delayed shipment notifications during Holidays

1.0
Details
I started my Christmas shopping in November. Ever had any problems until this year. Notified the UPS has package usually in Illinois. Always ships out next day. This year the delayed notifications started coming and for no apparent reasons. It is hotter in the East so no weather issues. I ordered a for first time from Ed by Ellen after watching her show. That was 7 days ago and it is still sitting at UPS in Illinois. Sounds like disgruntled employees to me. Get it together people or you will be losing more than hourly rates but closing centers due to customers leaving.

UPS in Austin, Texas - Next day air takes 7 DAYS

I ordered a small order for MSC and it shipped from Atlanta Ga. as Next Day Air saver. Three times it has been listed as Out for delivery. I see UPS trucks drive by and no delivery. at the end of the day the status changes from out for delivery to Destination scan. Originally due 8 Dec 2015 and now they show 14 Dec 2015 as the scheduled date. I could drive to Atlanta pick it up and be back in Austin Tx in less time.

Even overnight takes 2-3 days sometimes, of course there's no refund for delays, and usually when overnighting something, the shipping cost is the least of the concerns anyway.

Sad when the USPS is faster and more reliable, I guess the college kids UPS hires aren't what they used to be.

Ups Shipping Review from Bartlesville, Oklahoma

I always cringe when I see my packages are being shipped by UPS. Several times I have has ups deliver packages to the wrong house. 2 times the home owner of the home they delivered too told them where I lived the first time they took the package and left, but did not deliver to me. The second time the ups driver threw the package at the front of their house and ran back to his truck. The tracking is fast but wrong most of the time many times they put in comments that my home is a business and I was closed nope definitely not a business and never closed. Their customer service is rude and absolutely no help. They have had 3 packages of mine at the local ups shipping location for almost 2 weeks now and they promise they will deliver tomorrow, Monday morning. Also just so happens tomorrow is the day these items ship back due to being undeliverable I'm holding my breath. Never have these issues with Fed Ex or USPS

Ups Shipping Review from Hagerstown, Maryland

Update by user Jan 25, 2016

No communication ever about disrespectfulness from the driver

Original review posted by user Dec 12, 2015

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on December 9, 2015. My husband wrote a note giving permission to leave the envelope on our door until we got home. I finally got it December 10th and when I did; I got attitude from the driver in PUBLIC over a signature issue; and he spoke to me like I was a kid telling me how to do things. I'm was like if it weren't for companies and customers you all wouldn't have a paycheck or jobs period.

Ups Shipping Review

They have been having our pkg out for delivery a full week. They say that they run out off time because we live at the end of their route. We asked to pick it up at the will call but when we went no one would answer the door. This co. Is a very poor example for any kind of customer service. Will use Fed X or USPS from now on.

Problem with delivery

UPS in New York, New York - I live in a house with a porch....why send my order to a Pharmacy?

It would be laughable if it wasn't so ridiculous. I ordered an ornament from a website and UPS had no problem leaving it on the porch. Great! I order a lacquer box as part of a Christmas gift and (presumably) the same driver who already left a package on the porch decided it was "safer" to deliver my order to a pharmacy I never heard of. Safer? On the porch there are toys, bikes that aren't locked, and I live in an urban environment. If my neighborhood wasn't safe, don't you think these things would be chained up? Kept indoors? What was this guy so afraid of that by Friday of the same week my neighborhood went from okay to leave a package to better to give it to a pharmacy on the other side of town? Was it the children playing in the street? Was it the workmen who are gutting the house next door and remodeling? Was it my elderly next door neighbor who could sign for the package? I've only been living in that house for 20+ years. Surely there was a better option than a pharmacy. When I attempted to contact UPS customer service I was told that since I work during normal business hours it was basically my fault for never being home. I had to create a UPS account in order to change the delivery from PHARMACY to my home. I had to say that it was not UPS's fault should something happen to my package, etc, etc. I work retail. I don't have time during Christmas rush to set up accounts, deal with bad CS and be told that my working for a living is what's preventing me from receiving a package!! FedEx is SOOOOO much better. If there's an issue - a FedEx rep can call the driver and have the package rerouted - sometimes the same day. I lost two days thanks to UPS. They are DISASTERS. The website that I used to buy the Christmas gifts received a letter asking for FedEx to be their primary carrier. Whether they listen or not as moot. I just wanted the company to know that rather than deliver to their customers, UPS would rather deliver to some unknown, out of the way location. *** service, *** customer service - never using UPS for anything again.

  • BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE UPS

UPS is an extortion cartel.

I order an ergonomic chair to be shipped by UPS(only option available) choose the standard ground fare with an estimated delivery of 10-15 business days so I make arrangement for someone to be available to get the delivery. 5 business days early the UPS guy leaves the delivery notice on my door(1st try). Wow early delivery, no big deal I'll call to get them to deliver on the expected date when I'm home like with any shipping company. No can do sir, that is a 10$ fee to make a change on your order and you are too late to change tomorow's delivery(second try). alright this is ***, I'll just come pick it up at your warehouse on the weekend then. Same thing, 10$ fee to keep my package and having me get it. I contact the shipper of the chair to verify if all the shipment cost we're paid and everything is in order. They even give me their UPS/shipper account number so that UPS can charge them and just deliver the package. Alright I'm all set i figure, UPS will bill the shipper, I'll get my chair and all is well... Once again *** you says UPS. They can only charge that 10$ fee on a credit card. I call back the chair company, they are baffled by the situation and can't do anything more for me(understandable). The next day I call UPS to try and figure this thing out. The second attempt was made today sir, if your not here on the next try(3rd and last try) we'll ship your parcel back to the shipper and send you a bill. So now i have to take a day off to get a delivery(loosing money) or pay them money wich I already did in the shipping cost to get my delivery on the expected date. long story short. UPS will change delivery date and charge you 10$ to fix it. If you miss your 3 delivery notice(made before the agreed upon date) they keep/ship back your belongings and still send you a bill. How is this *** legal.

UPS Ground service does not offered a guaranteed delivery date; only estimated. If you want guaranteed service, you'll have to go with the more expensive one-day, two-day or three-day service.

Whose account is this shipped under? If it was the shipper's, they will be billed for the return, regardless of what they told you.

I deal with UPS all the time.
