UPS - Review in Other category from Bellevue, Washington

A simple envelope containing valuable documents were not delivered on time. Dec 11 my daughter drop a package at Hodgkins, Illinois to be received in Texas Harlingen on the 15th. Is the 19th and they have not report anything, even when a report was filed right away. UPS rep pretended that I called at the store that the documents were initially droped. No one knows anything and calling to the investigation dept is the same thing as going online, but is not an updated staus. I thought UPS had more profesional services. Hello FED EX !!!!!!

Ups have no idea what customer service is they were suppose to deliver meds that are needed badly but the driver was either to lazy or just didn't care about making the delivery and left when we called and tried to explain that it was meds that are needed not vitamins and it was for a disabled veteran who fought for our country but they basically said its not there problem I think everyone should just stop using ups for one day use there competitors and let them see that we the consumer make there company

You'll get your package when you get it not when they said you would. There on line status is completely made up. It has nothing to do with the real time tracking of your package. Case in point, it is December 18th and I had eight packages "on a truck out for delivery". None were delivered. Several had been "on a truck out for delivery" for several days. I talked to a UPS representative in the distribution center where I live (suburb of Denver, Colorado) and was told that the packages were never "on a truck out for delivery", and that UPS was "going to try and get those packages delivered." Note, not "get those packages delivered"...but "try". The new United States Postal Service...UPS. Do what I am going to do, urge the on line vendors you patron to use anyone other than UPS for delivering your packages.

Duh.

UPS is United Parcel Service.

USPS is the United States Postal Service.

You'd better understand the difference, yet today if possible.

UPS buries parcels in the snow. They throw them over fences. Etc.

The USPS is the finest postal service in the entire world and shame on you for slamming them with the fact that you don't even know the difference.

Ups Shipping Review from Houston, Texas

My name is Dana I put a returned package to t-mobile back in Octoberof this year. T-mobile kept sendingme txt messages to me everyday saying I needto return the device or I will have to pay $900 and some odd dollars. T-mobile did an investigation and could not track the phone, come to find out the UPS driver never scanned the package. So t-mobile added this $900 and some odd dollars to my phone bill. Now I not only have to pay my phone bill but I have to pay for the returned cell phone they claims they never received. I don't know if UPS stole my package or if t-mobile received the package and just telling me they never received it. Cn anyone tell me what can be doneabout the situation because I am clueless.

UPS in Chiefland, Florida - Package returned

Just had a card come in that a package could not be delivered to the address as listed. UPS has been delivering to that address for 3 years. The card arrived 1 day after they sent it back to the sender. Problem- The package is my heart meds, a critical medical shipment. First complaint. obviously, is that the delivery did not happen, this was inexcusable. Second is a huge complaint that over christmas, when the mail runs slow, that they did not give me warning until after they had shipped it back.

The next day a lady that is in charge of the drivers called & assured me that her driver delivered the boxes. After telling her that he must be lying & that this might be the last Christmas for my Dad who has cancer would be here, guess what....

the driver returned the boxes late the next day.

I ask you where did he have the boxes for 24 hours. I will never us this company agin.

I sent 2 large boxes to my parents who are in the 80's for Christmas. My Dad has cancer & Mom isn't well either. I spent $38.00 for them to get it there from FL. I told my Mom the box would be on Thursday, they stayed home all day waiting for it. I tracked the box from Fl to PA & the tracking said it was delivered at 5:35pm on the porch. I called Dad at 6:30pm to see if they got it to find out NOTHING! I called UPS right away, the guy seemed nice & said he would check on it. The next morning I got a call(8:00am) from a lady saying she was with the driver & he claims he delivered it. I told her he is lying....first it was only a hour, they live in an upscale apartment complex, not in the poor neighborhood. Not even 2 minutes after I hung up with UPS my Mom called to say UPS rang the bell & delivered the box. You tell me they driver delivered them, I don't think so. I will NEVER use them again. I am not done with them, I will get to the bottom of this. Had I not called they would not have any presents(this might be the last year for them). BBB is my next move. DON'T USE THEM, hire a bird it will get there better.

The artwork was received by customer completely destroyed. Broken plexiglass. Customer kept packing intact to show how it was shipped. Three layers of bubble wrap. Shrink wrapped, corrugated box on the outside, reinforced on the borders. Insurance for the amount paid. UPS picked up the piece for inspection. Discarded the piece and notified me that claim was denied. Do not ship with UPS. please. Do not ship with UPS. they are irresponsible and unprofessional. The piece was valuable. Insured for $1400. I am looking for legal options.

Abysmal, useless, frustrating, disappointing, unreliable. These are but a few words that describe UPS in the UK. I've had the worst experience with them and I hope the company gets shut down. I had made arrangements through a company to retrieve my things that were being held by a friend of mine and transfer them to my location outside the UK. Note that I had paid for everything in advance including travel fees. The first attempt they didn't show up, my friend waited and waited, but didn't receive so much as a text. I book for a second time. The guy calls my friend and tells them to move my things to a more convenient spot for him to pick up, my friend objects and the driver starts shouting at them. Third attempt, the guy calls, my friend missed it, tried to call back, but nobody answers. Of course now I'm at my wits end and I complain, the call center people for UPS (who are just as useless as their company), tell me that the driver says that the package should have been placed at a more convenient spot for him to pick up. What is the point in being a collection driver? Does the job title not speak for itself? Or is a job description required? What did you expect when you applied for the job? I make a fourth attempt, they didn't show up at all, I call the center and they tell me the driver had an issue and didn't enter the residential area, when there's an open parking lot that is open to everyone. I am furious, I tell them to send someone back immediately because my friend is going on holiday and I need the packages to be picked on that day. They said they were sending someone, they lied. I ask to reschedule for the following day, call center guy asks me what were the contents of the packages I say they are my personal belongings. This is where things hit the fan, the guy starts telling me they can't ship my packages because it has my belongings, I tell them they are mostly clothing, he refuses. I ask if you can't ship clothing to other countries, what can you do, what do you ship? He starts telling me about customs, I tell him I was already informed of all of this by the cargo company I was applying through. He refuses. My mother has to get on the phone with him and he's arguing about how shipping personal belongings is not allowed. My mother, furious, asks for the manager, after a long wait some guy called Alex picks up the phone. My mother is boiling mad at this point and starts complaining about how incompetent the people are and as soon as she's done to hear what he has to say, there's pin drop silence. The guy hung up. So, congratulations UPS for getting this far in life. I for one am never using your services again and I will let everyone I know never to use your services. Because if the manager of all people couldn't man up to have a grown up conversation and instead decided to hang up the phone, then there are clearly jokers working there who probably laugh and swap stories of how they ruined a customers day and how much work they had to put in, even though there is none.

UPS in Elgin, Texas - Leaving packages in the road

The UPS driver helper is leaving customer packages in the road instead of taking them up to the door. He is driving a golf cart. This has been going on for several days because my friend told me she got a call at work from her neighbor tell her that a guy in a golf cart just left her package in the street in front of her house. The neighbor told her to come get it at his house. The address were I saw the driver of the golf cart leave a box in the street was around 102 Gettysburg Loop, Elgin TX 78621

UPS

UPS is really not a good company to ship with. in my experience they lost our first package and with the second package, it was not delivered next day like the company paid for. I called customer service several times and got lie after lie. I called the ups facility in colorado springs and the lady that answered the phone was so rude and all she did was lie. The customer service people need to be retrained to actually tell customers the truth. i bet they still dont know where our fist package is
