UPS in Odessa, Texas - Delivery

I received another email from ups advising that I requested a change of delivery. They are such liars here. I did not request it. They delivered 1 $750 package to the wrong address and I figured out where and looked and there it set. I was unable to move it being crippled and called them. They waited a week before attempting to pick it up, by then it was stolen. Cost me $750 due to their stupidity and lazeness. I have already thrown my paper work away on this one. Ups Pickup Service Review from Irving, Texas

1.0
Details
OMG They would supposed to pick up a package. It was at the front door. Instead, I received a notice pickup attempted. When I called (even though I informed ups the package was by the front door I was told to leave the package outside. I called back and all the instructions were in Spanish. When I was finally able to talk to someone in English l was told to take the package to the ups store on MacArthur in Irving. When I went to UPS store, they wanted to charge me to ship. They told me I had to go to the warehouse. A different story from each person I talked to.

Poor UPS service

I had a package delivered or should I say thrown on my porch. The UPS guy didn't even come close to the porch he just heaved ( Threw) it. What if it had been something breakable . As it was one of the product meesed up. I find this driver to be rude!!!! I wish our old driver still had this route he would bring it to the porch and give a quick knock so I would know that he dropped a package off.

Ups Package Review from Mankato, Minnesota

On 12/18, I received a notice on my door that ups had tried to deliver package but I was not home. I signed the back of notice giving them permission to deliver package without my being home but the next a received another notice, just like day before so again i signed it and placed it on door. On the third day I received another notice that becausr i wasn't home to receive package they were returning package to sender. I called them to complain that i had signed a notices twice giving them permission to deliver package but instead they were returning to sender. They told me that there was nothing i could do about it. They said they would try to have package kept at their facility in north mankato, mn but couldn't guarantee that would happen. They said it ups was open that night and the following day, a saturday if i wanted to pick it up... even though they couldn't guarantee that package had not been sent back. When i arrived at ups Saturday it was closed and according to the sign on door it was not open on saturdays. When i went to pick it up today, i checked the tracking number on l ine and saw that it had been returned to sender. This is not the first time we have had problems with ups. My husband, who is in the computer business refuses to ship or have anything shipped from ups forthis very reason.

UPS in Hurst, Texas - Poor accountability

12/21/2015 My parents took a care package to a UPS to pack and ship to Texas. After opening the package I found nothing had been packed and the contents had been spilled in the box and some of the contents had been contaminated with a damaged carton of Chicken broth. The box and most of its contents had to be thrown away. I Called the UPS store in Addison Il, where it had been shipped, and they told me they would file a claim. I called UPS directly and they told me without the box or contents they cant pay a claim. How can no one take responsibility for failing to properly pack and ship a package ??? My parents paid for a box, packing, insurance and proper shipping. UPS has lost my business and my parents business.

UPS - Poor Quality Customer Service At Foster Ave. Brooklyn Facility

His name is Roger and he repeatedly requires me to show ID just for dropping off a package with a prepaid label. I have a problem with him every time I go to the facility just to drop off a package! Why? I ask if I can just drop off the package at a UPS box drop. So he tells me to do so. When I complain to see a manager, he tells me to please call customer service and file a complaint! Why the fuss when my nephew goes in to drop off a package for me at the same facility, and no one asks him for ID. Also, after the last incident I went to the mall to finish my Christmas shopping. When I saw a UPS man there, I asked him could he take the same package for me. He politely said yes. And, no ID was asked for! At the mall no less! Also, at another facility, my grandson went in to drop off another return package, and he wasn't asked to show ID. Ok, he's only 12 and was given a receipt! The point is yes ID is required for pick up service sand for pay and weigh servicics, not for DROP OFF services! Why the fuss? Is it just an individual case of an over exuberant worker? Or, is it the cause of something else having to do with something more suspicious like "preferential treatment for some, but NOT for others. It's really irritating to know that in this day of prompt and polite service to the public and for the public with follow up surveys that this is individual not only requires my ID just to drop off a prepaid package when my ID is in the car on the next block. Left there by me for my security reasons. Also, with arthritic feet, why should I be asked to do any extra walking or just anything else just to satisfy this individual's special requirements? Seriously, this individual named ROGER needs some serious retraining or some redirecting to another job description or perhaps just replacement by one of his coworkers who told me some people have to define themselves by their own idiosynchrocies. Again, his name is ROGER, and he works at the Foster Ave. facility in Brooklyn. Beware if you're not on his preferential list of preferred customers! So, I'm left at my discretion to be serviced at a more useful site like at the mall which is a far more pleasant experience. And to you ROGER, Happy Job Retraining or Just Happy Job Hunting!

UPS in Littleton, Colorado - Package lost

Package lost or stolen, but UPS driver marked as "delivered". UPS refuses to replace or pay for item even though it insurance by shipper was paid. UPS customer service representative said it was "not their issue once marked delivered." Many other companies immediately replace items, but not UPS. This is not the first issue of this kind. Social media is a buzz about this type of situation, soon UPS will lose even more money and customers because they refuse to take responsibility and do the right thing. Shame on UPS. Don't use them, and if you do, don't pay for insurance as it is meaningless.

Once it is delivered, that is the end of the issue.

The news is showing stories it seems every night about folks following delivery vehicles and stealing the packages after delivery.

UPS lost documents keeping my wife from entering the US. Reported but no progress, just told to wait. A simple envelope. Five days late already and nothing from UPS. I guess FED EX will be a substitude, thou they are more expensive. I guess is true when they say you get what you pay for.
