UPS in Gilbert, Arizona - 2nd Day Air Delivery taking 8 Days ???

Fed Ex really needs to put UPS out of business. I was promised delivery of a 2-day air shipment on Dec. 30th by Close of Business. Package did not arrive. I called UPS customer service which said it was out for delivery for Dec. 31st between 1:15 and 5:15. It is now 4:30 on Dec. 31st and I called customer service once again and they tell me it will not be delivered until Monday, Jan. 4th. How can a logistics company run on such horrible ethics ??? This happens over and over. . . Fed Ex, this is your chance to step up and put them out of business !!! If I could pick 0 STARS for this service that still would not be good enough to rate their POOR system

I want my product now. I should not have to wait from today (Thurs) until Monday to receive it when it has been promised by UPS Cust Serv to deliver & then it just sits in Phoenix where I am located. It has sat in Phoenix since Wed & now promised for Mon.

UPS Surepost is a joint UPS/USPS shipping service, where UPS delivers the package to the local post office, and then the local post office delivers it to the delivery address. Once it leaves UPS's hands, they are unable to do anything, as the package is now entirely controlled by the post office.

As for the service itself, UPS does not arbitrarily choose to make shipments "Surepost;" the company you ordered your parts from chose that service, probably because it was cheaper than sending it via UPS Ground.

Honestly, from what you've said here, UPS is completely not at fault. You either need to take up your grievances with the company you bought the products from, or the United States Postal Service.

Ordered a product on the 26th and required it for new years eve so I paid extra for next day delivery...knowing its Christmas time and bust I was expecting it to be a little delayed possibly the 30th or 31st at the latest... Apparently it was sent out for delivery today the 31st but couldn't be delivered so I rang up to find out why any apparently it wasn't possible to deliver so to my annoyance I asked the person on the phone if I could collect it from a depot and they said yes once its before 3pm and gave me a number to use to collect it so I drove to the depot (40 miles away from my house) after paying just under £20 for delivery as I needed my item to turn up and be told my collection number is wrong and they can't locate my package that only thing I can do is sit and wait till the 4th and see if it comes...then half way home I decided to check the ups tracking number I had...which for some reason it gives me full tracking and says it couldn't be delivered... So now I am £500 down for a product required for new years eve... £20 for postage and another £15 in fuel for the 80 mile round trip along with a few hours of my time lost. Will NOT use this service again and will be seeking compensation for being mislead and told I WOULD be able to collect it at the depot.

UPS in Romulus, New York - 2ND Day Delivery = 6 Day Delivery

A 7 lb package shipped at 0047 Tuesday morning December 29th from Harrisburg, PA via guaranteed 2nd day. Package arrived at local distribution center at approx 4 AM Thursday morning, December 31st but will not be delivered until Monday afternoon, January 4th. I called the local distribution center at 8 AM this morning, December 31st and was told that I could not even come in to pick the package up myself. I subsequently went to the UPS website and did an online chat with a representative who told me that it would be delivered today but when I told her I had talked to the local distribution center and they said Monday she said that she could not help.

UPS in New Providence, Iowa - Don't pay extra for 2 day shipping

I ordered online something to wear for New Years eve. I ordered on 12/29/15. I paid over $20 for 2 day shipping. UPS tracking showed all okay until this morning, now delivery is set for Monday 1/4/16! I contacted customer service and was told someone would get back to me in one business day, which will be Monday the 4th. I could have done the standard FREE shipping (USPS) and got it in 3-5 days! I hate wasting $20. If I can avoid UPS in the future I will, I will be sending the item back as it does me no good until next New Years at this point. Guess I'll go shopping now and see if I can find it in a store.

UPS in Hamburg, Hamburg - missed deliver attempt

UPS claims I was not home when they tried to deliver the package, this is a lie since I was waiting the hole day for them. Now they want to try a second time in 5 days. This has happened to me many times that they claim I'm not home and delivers much later. I have asked around and found out that this is quite common for UPS, many friends told me that they had similar experiences with UPS. When possible select another company!

UPS in Gaborone, South-East - Non delivery of 2 parcels

Two parcels were sent via UPS on December 7, 2015, to date the 30th delivery has not been made. In addition one parcel arrived without proper documentation and this delayed customs clearance. UPS took no responsibility for the problem. I would not use this company again and complaining about their incompetence is of no use as they take no responsibility. I complained to the head office, I called UPS Trinidad and I had to make numerous local and overseas calls to sort it out.

UPS in London, England - Extortion

my girlfriend sent me a gift from Chanel for Christmas to be expedited from the 18th to arrive on the 23rd. She paid 163.00 U.S. Dollars, and the first time I was informed of first delivery attempt was today the 30th of December. They know expect me to pay an additional charge of £31.02 for the luxury of receiving a Christmas gift. She paid for it at her work and shipped it privately from her local post office. Something tells me that ups is extorting money from the public. They blame it on vat, they know it does not cost that much to ship an item, let alone not even get it here on time, thieves, extortion, rip off artists, standing behind the government. Shame on you, you owe my girlfriend money due to the late arrival, and now you want me to pay you too. Shame on you ups, shame on you, losers. Something tells me this is a very common occurrence ....THIEVES *** ARTISTS THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF MY RANT MONICA LE GRAND WEST LONDON UNITED KINGDOM SHAME ON YOU

What country was the package coming from? Also, when it comes to customs, UPS has zero control over them.

If you receive taxable items from another country, then UPS has to pay those taxes before the items can be cleared through customs.

Also, delays in customs cannot be helped by any courier service.

UPS won't issue refund for late delivery

They delivered a day late due to a problem with one of their trucks. We were headed on vacation. I called and they told us it would be late so went without it. They said I was entitled to a refund. When I returned from vacation I saw no refund was issued. I called and was told since 12 days had passed (since delivery), 15 since shipment their policy was no refund. Unbelievable they didn't do what I paid them for so it was a waste since I needed this for our trip. And they won't issue a refund even though I spoke to an agent at the time. Guess I'll switch shippers for my business as well.
