UPS Store #181 at 552 Clarke Rd, Unit 407 Burquitlam Plaza, Coquitlam

2015/01/06 @1030 hours, this date I had the unpleasant experience of picking up new cell phones, from the store. I arrived a few minutes after the UPS truck left, and I could see 7-8 packages had been dropped by the UPS driver. The employee/manager? was obviously busy moving these parcels off the counter, which makes sense, he does not know if I am going to steal them or who I am. The fellow behind the counter then decides he is going to make a mountain out of a mole hill, acting like he couldn't read the invoice, etc, and then I could see the driver has the correct civic address for the store on the invoice, but the wrong city, which really isn't that surprising this plaza sits on the corner of three cities, Coquitlam, Port Moody and Burnaby . Again, really not that dramatic of an error. Following this show of indignation, I realized all this fellow has to do is scan the bar code! After all the huffing and puffing and turning the screen around to show me that the city is incorrect, he simply needs to scan the barcode on the invoice and verify my identity! So after few minutes of trying to solve this riddle, that is obviously the stuff of an Dan Brown book, he manages to establish that I am the correct store, which I knew I was all along, but I played along. After a few more minutes, just like magic, the two small boxes, that have my new cell phones for my wife and I, are right at his feet! (Rogers are you listening?) His parting words to me was that I was "Lucky", because if he had been "busy" I would have had to come back. Obviously the fact that I was the only customer in the store, I am not worthy of any service, if he was "busy". Clearly, after I left he returned to the back room of the UPS store where he carried on splitting atoms and working on the "God Particle Project". Sincerely, Dennis

I've been expecting a package for a couple of days so finally today 1/5/16 the tracking said out for delivery so after it was out for 15 hours I called to see what was going on some *** at the Oxford Al ups changed the address to my old one so it was deemed undeliverable so the person on the phone asked me if I wanted to pick it up in the store .Are you kidding me *** no I don't want to pick it up. I want it delivered now! Idiots stop changing my address!

UPS should ban their employees from using 1 hour word. I called customer service about my package, she said that someone from headoffice will call me back in 1 HOUR. No body called, I had to remind them again. Somebody from head office called, she again promised to call me back in 1 HOUR. This hour was equal to 3.5 hours. Again she promised to call me back in 1 HOUR and unfortunately no one called back. Please do not commit to 1 HOUR, until unless you are ready for it.

UPS - Hire more drivers

I hate to buy something online just to find out ups is going to be the one who delivers it.They will have you waiting the whole day and just to come out after hours I was getting ready for bed when my package finally came I didn't think they would come as late as 9pm but yes they did It would be nice if the tracking system could give a two hour window.I will not be ordering if a company doesn't use fed ex as the shipper

UPS - Awful Customer Service

It cannot be stated more emphatically that UPS Customer Service is just plain AWFUL! What I learned from the UPS customer 800 service center: 1) Drivers can arbitrarily decide not to deliver your package - it's for your own safety - kind of like the government: we're here to help. 2) Local offices cannot be reached by phone only through the fab UPS communication 'system'. (Except they can, we just won't tell you their number.) 3) Someone will call you back in an hour, but if they don't you can call us back and you can wait another hour for them to call you back. 4) Two day delivery is guaranteed in 5 days. 5) It's not our fault: we just have so many packages on the truck that we just can't deliver them all in one day. 6) Customer what? Service? Nah, too much trouble. I will be signing up for a FedEx account today.

UPSucks!!!!

Next Day Air package supposed to be delivered today,1/4/16 at 10:30am. Arrived at my local hub, Texas, yesterday,1/3/16. Tracking says it's out for delivery today. Its now 8:17 pm, no package. Call UPSucks! they say it didn't make it on the truck in Kentucky. Tracking site lies!! The UPSucks person actually told me that they listed it arrived at my local hub, in anticipation that it would be there. UPSucks!!!!!!! UPSucks!!!!!!! UPSucks!!!!!!! UPSucks!!!!!!! UPSucks!!!!!!! UPS - Forgotten package ... too bad for me

I shipped 2 packages of exactly the same weight, etc., overnight to the same place for 10:30am delivery. One of my packages made it; the other, UPS "left in the building" during shipment which caused them to miss the 10:30am delivery time. Even though they have a 3pm delivery time, they will not deliver until 10:30am the next day. The package has my passport, etc., needed for an international trip that I will miss if it does not arrive on time. UPS's customer service response, "Sorry, I don't even know how they did that. Nothing we can do now." Gee, thanks, UPS. Great service.

UPS has never truly delivered anything to me, only left my parcels OUTSIDE and unprotected for anyone to take. Or they decide I need to go get the items myself- They do not know what a delivery company does, they do NOT know how a doorbell works or the simple act of knocking and they rarely "try" more then once. Want your parcels delivered to a general area- maybe! To a certain address, forget it!! It's the russian roulette of delivery companies so if you like to gamble with your stuff then go for it!

I know what you mean. They once left a pair of $160 boots on my front doorstep while I was out, checked the tracking, and the package sat there for an hour. The only time they've ever rung my doorbell is if there's customs fees that need to be paid :/

Purchased something from Forever 21, and noticed that I had it delivered it to the wrong address. Had no choice but to contact UPS and made like multiple purchases just to have my address changed.

I normally don't give companies bad reviews but oh just for you, UPS. I made a purchase a few days ago on forever 21. Today I noticed I sent it to my old address, (we recently just moved). It was my mistake and since it was a few days ago, Forever 21 couldn't do anything about it. So I made an account on UPS, tried having my address changed but of course, those greedy grinches want money to have my address changed. Thought the nightmare ended. NOPE! Apparently a code was supposed to be sent to my phone to verify to have my address changed. No code. So I went to option #2 and I'll be having my code mailed to me in like 3-5 days. Chatted with like 5 different employees. They were very helpful and I could tell they were just doing their job. So no fault there. The customer service was helpful but it's the dang company that makes me want to chop my eyeballs in halves. Payed 4$ to upgrade, to change the address, they didn't send me a code, so Im having it mailed to me but screw that. Just gonna have to cancel the whole order and request my money back from UPS and have the package go back and request it all over again. Just wonder if it will all go through. Overall, it's best if you avoid UPS if you usually make mistakes with your order. FedEx all the way!
