UPS - ON LINE RETAILERS BEWARE

I live in downtown Vancouver BC - I HATE UPS and their *** delivery so much that if you ship UPS and I order from you - I WILL CANCEL- they don't even attempt delivery to condos in Vancouver- saw the driver sitting behind my building and when I asked him about my parcel I noticed he was sitting there updating the computer he had- next thing I checked on line and it stated he attempted delivery which he clearly did not and it took 4 days to get a card from them. Only other option is to travel 3 hours round trip in day traffic to their Richmond BC depot - notice they do not even have a hub anywhere in Vancouver to pick up - best part them are only open till 6 pm Mon-Fri- who the *** operates that way anymore. THEY SUCK and if you use them for delivery good luck keeping customers.

UPS in Richmond, Virginia - Horrible service

I ordered some simple earphones, microfiber cloths and external battery on Amazon. I'm a prime member, and had 2-day shipping. It's been 9 days since I've ordered, I was suppose to get my package last week but they sent it elsewhere and told me to pick it up. I ordered online to be DELIVERED to my DOOR because I have no form of transportation. So it took me a while, but I was finally able to get a "redelivery" request, and that it would only take "2-3 business days" to process my order and I would had gotten it 2 days ago, but still no packages. They told me that the packages were "too valuable" to leave at my front door? Which I think is *** and that they are just too lazy to re-deliver. Well now it's 9 days later from the order date, and checking the tracking, it says I need to contact them for a redelivery when I did? And if I don't contact them then they are sending my order back. I've already contacted Amazon and all they were willing to do was refund my money and extend my prime by one month. But when I go back to reorder, the price of the objects have increased. This is the most *** thing ever.

UPS > USPS

This whole thing they're doing now with handing over packages to USPS to be delivered is ridiculous. My package should have been here 3 days ago and it's still not here. Not to mention that on their tracking it just says delivered and that somebody else signed for it, making me think that it was delivered to the wrong location at first. They could at least say that it was handed over to USPS instead of making me jump through their customer service, straining to make out an Indian accent. I'm going to be doing a lot less ordering through them, that's for sure.

Don't blame UPS. Blame the company you ordered the product from.

They do this in order to get a lower rate by having UPS make one stop to the local post office and having the post office delivery it instead of UPS having to make separate deliveries all over town. The problem, however is that the USPS is rather slow and unreliable---as you found out. We had the exact same thing happen within the past week. Upon checking the tracking of an expected package, it showed the package being delivered on Saturday.

We knew this was erroneous as I went out to the mailbox immediately as the mailman drove away without delivering a package. I called the company I ordered the product from and they are sending out a replacement. They said it happens frequently. And, you want the government to handle your health care?

Complain to the sending company and request they replace the missing item. If they don't, then dispute the charge on your credit card and do NOT pay for something you don't owe.

You did use a credit card, did you not? I hope.

UPS in Surrey, British Columbia - Horrible website makes paying any duty impossible

I ordered a package a week ago and shipped it using UPS. Because the package is coming to Canada form the US I got charged for duty and taxes which is to be expected. The problem is there is no easy way to pay for it, all I got was an email saying I owe them money with zero indication of how to pay for it. So far I've had to make 3 different accounts on their website to get to the billing feature but once I got there I still couldn't find a way to pay for it. All I ask is for a way to pay them so I can receive what I've shipped without jumping through hoop after hoop. You'd think a company pulling over 50 billion a year in revenue could come up with a streamlined way of giving them your money but no. Never plan on using them again.

I have given the driver a check or MO at time of delivery the few times I have owed any Customs charges.

Rigid Delivery times for UPS Residential Deliveries

What can I say. I go to work UPS tries to deliver. I'm not home but at work to pay for my parcels to be delivered by UPS. UPS will not deliver on Sat or if I'm not at home. Delivery goods are worth $1000. UPS will not hold at store because its not done - even an exception is not entertained as it's COD. I offer to pay over the phone to redeem the Parcel from being COD, but they still can't deliver to a store near my house, that I can visit after work. Only option is I take time off - unpaid time - and go to their airport delivery store. Yeeesh. Really very unproductive experience.

Contact the Shipper.

Only the Shipper can change the address a COD is sent to.

Have it sent to your work.

UPS has had my package in the city it needs to be delivered for 5 days. I spoke with someone from UPS earlier and they are telling me I cannot pick it up and that they have no idea when they will deliver it. This is only the 3rd time I have used UPS and they are never on time and never helpful. I will now know to always use FedEx since they can always tell me when my package will be delivered and 99% of the time are on time.

Ups Overnight Delivery Review from Le Grand, California

I ordered a part for our drill rig on thursday.overnight air,from reno nevada to merced ca.its monday 2 pm and still waiting.this is the third time this has happened.the drill rig makes between 10 to 30 thousand a day,when drilling.the pony express would be faster! I have called all my suppliers and told them NO MORE UPS.

You do realize there was a blizzard that affected airports across the country?

Therefore, ALL Commercial and freight operations were not able to meet their scheduled service.

What is your solution for planes to fly when it unsafe to do so?

Many folks who were stranded in airports would be quite interested in your solution. I am sure!

UPS STORE # 5296 64 Beaver ST...Today I experienced the worst / most shocking customer service in my life.... Those female staff are so lazy, unhelpful, sarcastic, rude. THE CHUBBY DARK HAIR ONE IS THE WORST... They are full of negative attitudes... The owner of this UPS Store ( 64 Beaver Street, New York, NY 10004 ), should have these rude staff fried immediately... Shape up the management... This particular UPS Store is very bad for UPS reputation. I will never go back to this UPS store.

UPS in Maple Ridge, British Columbia - No phone for you!

Too bad there's not a zero star rating, for this store and UPS in general. My package required a signature and ID. I missed the delivery at home, so gave them a credit card # to redirect my Roger's phone to my office the following day, being a Friday. The driver showed up without the package and I was told it was in Maple Ridge at the UPS store. I had already called UPS at least 6 times, and they finally sent me to the UPS store 10 miles away. The kid at the store didn't have a clue, and spend 10 minutes running around the unorganized clutter covering every flat surface and floor area in the office. The supervisor came in and said UPS had picked it up. When I started to explain the situation, he said he "didn't care", and to call UPS. He then told me to tell them to find someone else to handle their shipments, because he doesn't want their business anyway and started showing the new person how to sort mail, leaving me at the counter. Roger's advised me on Saturday that UPS dropped the phone back at the store on Friday @ 5:50 PM, but when I called UPS Monday morning before the store opened, they told me the driver did have the phone since Friday and didn't drop it off at the store, and that they are allowed 2 business days to deliver redirected parcels. So now he'll bring the package to my office today, when I'm not there with my ID and a signature. Then they'll take it back to the store and we can start all over again. STAY AWAY FROM UPS AND THIS STORE PLEASE!!!!!
