Ups - Manager Review from Saint George, Utah

Had UPS (St George, Utah office - 4057) Package & Ship older Portable Singer sewing machine in its original case to Denver, thinking that UPS should know how best to package a sewing machine for shipping. However, when it arrived, not only had the machine beat the wooden case to pieces, but the UPS expert had slipped the key to the case INSIDE the case. There is no way to determine the extent of the damages to the machine inside, and as of this moment (15Feb2016), UPS in Denver still has not been to check out the damages of a machine shipped on 5Jan2016. To this day the local Manager backs his employees as 'experts' in packaging. No attempts to sped this issue, all blame being pointed at us. Why? UPS packaged and shipped it.

UPS in Boston, Massachusetts - Delivery Problem

I have been trying to get my bed and mattress delivered for over a week now. My apartment building has no buzzer so I made sure the 'driver directions' on UPS my choice were to leave them in the mailroom and when they didn't do that I signed all the info notices and they still wouldn't leave the package. I called Customer Service who said I'd be called before the deliveries: this didn't happen. The upside of this is that I have had no bed for two weeks and UPS has been entirely unhelpful in getting it to me. Will not use them again.

Don't know how to manage actually giving you the package when they say. I have yet to have a package come on time.

FedEx is A LOT better. They actually care about customer service. They go above and beyond when to make sure it's here or before it's supposed to be. UPS is ***.

Tired and down with they're lack of giving a ***.

I've been waiting on a part for my car ( which I need fixed for work?!!!!) and have yet to receive it. I guess you can only blame you're self because they don't change.

My biller and/or the claims process will take care of the refund. I will no longer be using UPS, and I will make sure everyone I can tell knows about the purposeful/intentional misrouting behaviors of their drivers.

I am not happy with this company. Spent $97.00 shipping a package to our son. The condition of that was was so beat up and things broken inside. I like to know why the workers handle the packages in a *** poor manner. I refused to use this company again. A family heirloom was broken along with other things. I gone this company a *** rating.

Edit to add: So their "social media help" folks contacted me. They explained that yes-the delivery was delayed because THEIR employee made a mistake.

I pointed out the item was now in town as of Friday afternoon and a Saturday delivery would make sense.

They agreed and promised it would be "on the truck for Saturday delivery"

It hasn't showed up. Their tracking still shows Monday.

UPS appears to have no concept of "service". I ordered a product-and paid for expedited delivery on the shipper's part (30 dollars) and for "guaranteed five day ground service" delivery (guaranteed both by the seller and by UPS' own website). All was well until day 4-when the product was suddenly placed in "delay" status at the Commerce City, CO facility (a hub with a 1 star rating on Yelp). When I contacted UPS their response was "well, the last arrival scan doesn't really mean it's there-wait 24 hours" even though it had been in that facility on delay status for 14 hours. They also said "we don't have a new delivery date for you" although the package was set for guaranteed deliver by Friday. At 3AM the following morning (Friday) UPS sent an e-mail indicating the delivery was rescheduled...for the following Monday. They did not even attempt to reset it for a Saturday delivery-apparently believing that since they had already missed the guaranteed delivery deadline of Friday it would make no difference if it wasn't delivered until Monday. While I know they generally charge more for Saturday deliveries-given that THEY blew the deadline it would have seemed appropriate to at least OFFER a free Saturday delivery to TRY to make things right. In essence, if you ask where your "delayed" delivery is their response is "we don't know where it is, we don't know when it will get to you and by the way you have to get a refund from the seller because it isn't OUR responsibility as a package delivery service to actually deliver packages in a timely fashion"

UPS My Choice is hopeless!

I received an email, saying a parcel would be delivered to my home address. I knew I would not be at home, so I wanted my parcel to be delivered to a pick up location (which I'd used before) When I went on line it says I must join UPS My Choice! I am already a member, so I log in. I try to change delivery address. When I try it says I must join UPS My Choice (which I am already logged into) So, I log in again. I try to change delivery address. When I try it says I must be a member... So, I log in again!!!! For pity's sake I AM TRYING TO HELP THEM AVOID A WASTED DELIVERY!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE INTERNET???

Ordered prepaid books from barnes and noble who also uses ups they informed me the books would take about a week so said ok and paid my money and ordered the books. I called store to get the tracking number for the package that contain the books .Some how ups didnt have the barcode to scan the package or the label to deliver my books so the sent it back to the store and i had no idea until i called so i have to wait 48 hrs up 72 hrs to be contacted it took me 40 to 50 minutes to talk to someone at customer service at ups then a 26 minute wait for someone to call me back. Before talking to ups i called the postal service here in burlington nc they said that i needed to call greensboro nc ups cause they couldnt help me but then the man at ups of the 1800 number called back after 26 minutes tried to comfort me but he could tell i was pissed the *** off and kept apologizing and i wasnt angry with him but it was the ladys job at postal service to contact recovery and file a complaint to sorry to do any paper work and her dam job so i end up hoping i dont have to wait 5 to 6 more weeks for books i already paid for what shame . ups get your sh*&!!!t together and serve your costumers my money isnt free

Ups Shipping Review

Ordered flowers for my wife to have them sent to her job. Tracked it and said it was delivered at 11 am. Here it is 7 pm and no package and best they can do is say they will review it and if they find it try to redeliver tomorrow. She wont be there. They dont understand anything.

I depend on UPS for delivery of my son's medication. There has been one incident where I waited hours for the package that comes the same time on the same day every month & it didn't show. When contacted, they acted like I must've received the package butI was trying to play games with them. When they & the pharmacy looked into it, it wss discovered that they delivered the package to the wrong house & had someone else sign for it. They had to go find where it was & then deliver it to me. I. The latest incident, they didn't even ring the very loud, obnoxious doorbell. They just left a slip saying we missed them. My fathers car was warming up in the driveway! Theres no way they could've rang the doorbell AND thought no one was home with a car running in the driveway! When contacted, the employee was very nasty & implied we were lying about being home saying "that's what they all say". I can't speak about every employee at UPS but the ones I have encountered need to be held accountable for their actions and/or properly trained. East Windsor, CT UPS is garbage!

UPS in Bartow, Florida - The worst customer service ever

I know it is standard practice to hire the handicapped but did UPS have to hire all of them. They are the most frustrating uneducated speciums I have ever encountered. This is an example I put out a package for pickup after calling And e mailing several times and they told me to put a note stating for UPS. After inquiring several times if I heard this correctly. When you call the night before for next day pick up they want you to call again in the am to make sure. Is that. It is their responsibility to schedule pick ups. Oh dear is this an example of our education system
