Ups Next Day Air Review from San Jose, California

1.0
Details
Next day air package says delivered at 10:32. When called in to tell its not right after notification, around 10:40, UPS found they delivered it to wrong address. It's passport in it. They couldn't locate the driver not the package for next 10 hours. They couldn't call the driver who delivered. At Friday 7pm, they close the local office and told me to call same number next day 9am only to find they don't even work on Saturday or Sunday. Now they don't know where the package is and they won't do anything to find until Monday 10 am! This is just so buzzard that I lost all faith and respect for UPS. On top of it, there customer service told me that they will not do anything.

Delivery SUCKS. These pansies WILL NOT even attempt delivery if there is or has been snow. Funny, yet ANOTHER delivery cancelled due to bad weather, but FEDEX had no problem coming out! UPS has done this 7 times now, the last five there hasn't even been snow on the road

UPS in Vancouver, British Columbia - The worst delivery company ever.

So, I paid $23 for a delivery and was expecting my parcel. One day got that notification saying that they were unable to deliver the package and sent it to the ups store. That's fine cuz I work during the day and can't just sit and wait for a delivery. But the ups store where they sent my parcel was fairly far away and the business hours were exactly the same as my work hours, so no chance for me to pick it up after work. No one else from my household wanted to go pick it up so far since the location is very inconvenient for us. I called this *** company asking to send my parcel to the other ups store and gave them the address that is just across my work. The guy said it will be $5.30 on top. Okay, fine. I just want my parcel. I was told I can pick it up in 2 business days on Wed. So, I showed up to pick up my parcel in 3 business days on Thurs, the woman said that my parcel was still in the old location. She couldn't help me or solve my problem and just told me to call the *** ups. I called them right away. The lady said she will place the request again and it will take another 2 business days and I can come to pick it up on Mon. Okay. I tracked my parcel on Mon-still in the old location; On Tue the same ***. But now the website was saying "your pick up time is expiring and u have to pick up your stuff today the latest". I called u-***ing-ps again. The lady put me on hold for 10 mins. Then said she'll put the request again and will make sure it gets delivered. I was desperate by that time and din't want that parcel any more.. Later that day I received a call providing me with the details that my parcel was on the truck. The next day they've called me saying I can go pick up my stuff. So, I showed up with my notification and the lady at the counter started *** me off saying that the address on my notification doesn't match their address. After that she started saying that there is no my address on my parcel and she can't give it to me. There actually was a sticker with the address but for some reason it showed the previous ups store address and not my home address. I was so pissed off and wanted just to leave when she suddenly shut up and just told me to sign for the delivery. But the worst thing that happened is that they didn't forget to charge me that fee for moving my stuff from one location to the other. Yes, they forgot twice about my request but they didn't forget to charge me. Only that they didn't charge $5.30 as was discussed but $6.30 which completely threw me back. I am NEVER using ups again. More than that I'm not going to buy stuff from that website any more since they only use ups for the deliveries. Go to *** ups.

UPS in Salem, Virginia - Awful Customer Service

2.0
Details
Today, February 18, 2016, I was supposed to receive a package that I had ordered from Amazon. Well, at about 5:00, the truck arrived, and delivered a package for my daughter, but not mine. Not only that, he was on the phone with during the delivery, which in of itself is extremely unprofessional. I called the 800 number and the woman at the other end of the line told me that my package "could be on a different truck", and it could possibly be delivered by the end of the day. I seriously doubt that because the town I live in is small enough that one truck could easily handle it. Anyway. 8:00 rolls around and still no package. I check the website again. Now it says that adverse weather may cause delay. Now I know they are full of ***. Roanoke, Virginia has had crystal clear weather for the past 3 days. I call them again. This time I got some man with a hard to understand accent. He proceeds to tell me that my package had never been on the truck in the first place. Again, I am having a real hard time believing him. According the tracking, the arrival scan into Roanoke was 3:18 am. Perfect clear weather here. At 5:08 am, it was supposedly now out for delivery. Again, all day, nice clear day, no "adverse weather" here. He puts in a "concern" for me to have someone call me tomorrow. This should be interesting because like most people, I have to work for a living and more than likely will be unable to answer the phone to fight with them. Why can't they just be honest with me and tell me what really happened. My theory is the *** driver was on the phone and wasn't paying attention to the fact that there were 2 packages for this address and not 1. And if it is true that the package was not on the truck, then what is the point of the "out for delivery" scan if it isn't true? All I know is that I have been fed a web of lies from them, and I'm not happy.

Yo!! This is literally the same problem I'm having.

Was expecting a package on the 19th, but it got delayed due to weather (and the weather is perfectly fine here in Minnesota). Not only that, but the package spent eight hours in a facility only 30 minutes away, and I'm still waiting (it might not even arrive by tomorrow they say)!

That's so bizarre. I seriously have to wonder if there's something afoot with dishonest claims of weather delays.

UPS damage claim Problem

I sold a nice low end bass guitar on ebay. I insured the bass for the amount of the bid. The buyer sent photographs that showed the bass severely damaged. I told im i'd file a claim give him a full refund and i did. I got a call from a lady with such a heavy accent i could barely understand what she said. She indicated UPS was denying the claim, i said i need to appeal that decision she said she would send an email. She never did. I called today 2-28-16 and after maneuvering through their phone maze got a lady with an attitude that said they were denying the claim and there wasnt anything i could do about it. I asked to speak to her supervisor with even a worse attitude, who said get over it, we are not paying for damaging your package. She said she would send me an email. AGAIN i have got nothing in writting from them. The damage that was done to this bass is only explained form EXTREME mishandling of the box. THey either had to jump up and down on it, or drive over it. If anyone has any suggestions how to deal with this situation i welcome your advice davidreid@citcom.net

In the last several years, anytime I expect a package through UPS it has always delayed...and sadly, those who work for UPS have no empathy and do not do anything to get the work resolved. I will get a 2nd day delivery package in the 3rd or the 4th day. So not commitment to the customer service and they do not offer anything to fix the problem....at the end you have no choice, but to wait. Please stay away from using UPS if you can and avoid them at any cost

UPS in New Carlisle, Indiana - What can Brown do? Not much....

They made a feeble delivery attempt and then when I tried to contact them to get my time sensitive delivery, I was basically told "tough" by the local place. This followed three phone calls to the national help desk, none of which yielded results until the third, which is where the wonderful "ess out of luck" message was conveyed. That call came during my third national call, and I switched over to that and then back to the national people. At that point, the woman I spoke to told me she was going to talk to her supervisor and asked me to hold---25 minutes later, she came back on, apologized for the wait and then put me on hold AGAIN.

UPS in Bethesda, Maryland - WORST "Customer Service"

Was called from a number my phone didn't recognise today and the woman claimed to be from UPS Collections. Apparently I have some sort of overdue balance to pay (which I am sure I do, mail hasn't been coming to my house lately so would not be surprised if just missed the invoice if they sent one). But the woman immediately asked me to pay via phone (ie give her my credit card info) AND she was talking so fast, I couldn't understand anything she was saying. When I asked her to slow down and explain what I owed and for what reason, she not only did NOT slow down, she also told me that she has no authorisation to tell me what I owe the money for. SUSPICIOUS, MUCH? Obviously, at this point I decide not to give her my payment information because if she's from the head office of UPS or whatever, shouldn't she at least be able to tell me what the overdue amount was due FOR? I had a feeling it was because of an international package I sent, so I asked her if it was for an international package and she went on to laugh at me and say that no, UPS is the big brown truck that drives around in the US. Which is completely ridiculous because how is that even related to my question about my overdue amount?? Then she went on to accuse me of "not wanting to pay" for my balance, which is completely untrue. I am an honest person and would absolutely pay if she wasn't being so rude or suspicious. I went on to ask if there were other methods I could pay via online or invoice or something and she kept laughing at me and telling me that no, there is no other way except paying via credit card on phone. Of course, I'm not going to believe her if she can't even tell me what the payment is for. Note: I work(ed) in customer service for several years over the phone and in person so I know exactly what it feels like being at the other end of the phone line and BELIVE ME there are MANY ways of dealing with situations like these. I also now realise that this number is indeed from UPS because I googled it after she rudely hung up on me. Would have done so during the call if she wasn't giving me such a hard time. PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS WOMAN GETS OFF HER HIGH HORSE AND LEARNS BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Going to email this into their customer service complaints, too.

Certainly sounds as if it is a scam call.

Similar in nature to the scam calls from supposedly the IRS.

Interesting, though.

I got the same type of call, but do NOT have an account with them! Sounds as though the scammers are getting more creative!
