Ups union thugs hold packages hostage

1.0
Details
ups is unionized and that means they don't care. they will ban you for deliveries if they don't like you. ups has a list of reasons not to deliver to your business that is 10 pages long. they're union encourages drivers not to deliver if they don't feel absolutely comfortable. the ups customer service is located in the Philippines and they have no idea where your package is. the ups union encourages it's drivers to hold your package hostage if they don't like you. fedex is not unionized and will get you your package with out threats of returning your package to the shipper. the van nuys customer center routinely tells it's customers that they will return your package back to the shipper if you don't like their service. watch out for george in van nuys. he likes to return packages. he says his union boss told him to do it. just because you get an email telling you that ups will deliver a package, dosen't mean you're going to get it. it is up to the driver to deliver or not and the union will back him up.

UPS in Wayne, New Jersey - Unhappy with a way our package was left on the steps.

We have been using UPS for more that 20 years. We order paper by the carton 10 reams in a carton. It has always been brought up to our office on the 2nd floor and signed for . Today it was left on he bottom steps. Has the deceivers policy change and you now don't climb stairs? Not only did we have to bring it up the steps. It was in the way of people go up and down the step, tripping hazard.

Horrible Service. My laptop was supposed to be delivered a few days ago.

After speaking with the manager at head office and arranging a very uncomplicated drop-off within a specific window - the driver showed up hours later. I called head office again and they promised to deliver the package at the nearest UPS access point the next day. When I called to check if the package was delivered - they said it wasn't and the driver came when their UPS access point was not opened.

They make promises they cannot keep. Horrible organization - their word means nothing.

My Walmart.com order was split. Part of it was delivered flawlessly via FedEx. The other part was sent via UPS. DISASTER!! Here's what you need to do to avoid shipping hassles: If you order from Amazon, you can call their customer service dept. and request that they...

Update: before placing an order with Amazon this morning, I called to confirm that my order would be delivered by FedEx. Nope.

You can only get free shipping now if you choose to have your order handled by UPS. To get FedEx, I would have to pay over $30 in shipping.

Goodbye Amazon and Wal-Mart. I have found other online retailers who use FedEx and ONLY FedEx because they tried UPS, got burned and learned their lesson.

UPS - Lost Package

February 22, 2016, UPS delivered my package to the wrong address. What makes it even worse is that the UPS delivery receipt said it was left outside on the patio. Well, I actually purchased the merchandise from an auction site where I spent a few hours bidding before buying. I have a lot of packages sent from the auction site and it is disheartening to think one will come up missing because of inadequacy of UPS. It took eight business days for their investigation which resulted in a claim and now UPS isn't sure how many more days it will take to pay the auction site who will in turn refund me. UPS is a total disappointment as far as I'm concerned.

UPS in Montreal, Quebec - VERY BAD CLIENT SERVICE

To the concerned Department It is with deep regret sending you this mail. I was informed that my parcel will be delivered at the end the of the day today, and I've done all necessary to be present for the collection this afternoon (refer to below message). To my great surprise I just got a mail stating that the parcel could be delivered due to non signature available this morning at 9hrs. Is this your good service!! Was I informed that delivery would be done in the morning I would have organized accordingly. And now I have to organize to pick up the parcel at the closest store and which you will let me know when it will be ready. Am really really annoyed cause its just a waste of time and very bad client service. This is the second time same issue happening. People don't stay home all day long to wait when UPS will decide to pass by and drop a parcel. Everyone has their own commitment. I hope you understand the concern... Seriously very bad service Yours sincerely

UPS in Houston, Texas - Me thinks not!

I have no idea what has happened to UPS. There are usually OK, at least the driver for my area. I wish that they, as well as FedEx and DHL, had more of a time to where they can work with residents/businesses of when they can and will deliver their packages. For packages that need to be signed for can be difficult to obtain - people do work for a living so with the need to have to wait all day long (up til 8pm) can be painstaking. At least FedEx express has an exact time that they deliver their packages to customers. This helps a great deal. I guess I will begin to tell the companies who I purchase from to ship all of my items via FedEx from now on! UPS needs better customer services (reps via phone) and way better communication. When you say that you will call me back in 1 hour, CALL ME BACK IN 1 HOUR!!! When I give instructions to leave the package at the UPS station, LEAVE THE PACKAGE AT THE UPS STATION!! Simple english instructions, people!...even for a 5 year-old to follow.

UPS in Trenton, New Jersey - Damaged shipment 1Z25AR740318608300

On 2/23 I shipped back a sink from New Jersey to Alabama. Originally sink was delivered by hand so the box was brand new. To add to the original padding I added extra padding and secured with nuggets on all sides. I was advised that the shipment was damaged and was asked to submit the purchase receipt for the sink and was told it's just a matter of paper work to get a check. To my surprise I was informed today that my claim has been denied because I did not package it well. I am not a novice, I've been selling and shipping stuff all over the world since 1996 and unless someone mishandled it there was no reason for it to break. When I asked to get the sink back I was told that it was "discarded" because it broke into a million pieces. What? On who's authority? Answer: "It's our policy". I asked for pictures...answer: "not available". The conversation with the representative was ended by him saying that he has nothing more to say to me. Just for the sake of argument, even if, let's say, it wasn't packaged well... A. why did they accept for shipping? B. A sink may crack not break into a million pieces. I don't believe this story for one min. Please refund my money. 1Z25AR740318608300 Thank you.

I find it really frustrating that ups continues to choose to not leave my packages inside my building in addition to deciding I should have to pick them up rather than trying again the next day where I could leave a signature. Honestly if I wanted to go pick up my packages I would have just gone to the store and picked it up myself. Oh, and also, their website says it is at the access point. So I taketake the there. The lady tells me thatthat, that doesn't mean it is therethere until tomorrow. At the absolute very least they could be more clear about that in their website. Gigantic waste of my time. Not happy.

I just want the service I paid for ! I will never allow anything to be shipped to me UPS again .... NUMBER 1 REASON ... THEY LIE ... The number 2 reason is there is no one to complain to because they have it set up so that every time you call you are sent to a different Country

Ups Home Delivery Review from Brooklyn, New York
UPS delivery hours are awful and the UPS people should go back to Kindergarten since, apparently, they do not know their numbers. When my package STILL did not arrive, I scheduled for a re-delivery and stayed home the ENTIRE day waiting for the guy to show up. Of course, NO ONE showed up and I had to track my package online. But the guy wrote down the wrong tracking number (illegibly, I might add since I spent half an hour trying to decipher the chicken scratch) so I could not find my package, as "no such tracking number exists". In the end, I've never received my package and received a refund for my item. Then for my second package, I missed the guy by an hour and had to pick it up at a UPS Access Point, 1440 Ralph Ave, like it said on the delivery slip. I went to this location, only to find out it was a construction zone. When I went online to confirm the address, I found out it was NOT 1440 Ralph Ave, but 1940 Ralph Ave. How THE *** does someone mess up a "9" with a "4"?!? Horrible, simply idiotic these people. (I wish I had the other slip too, so I can show the chicken scratch tracking number, but I threw it away in frustration a month ago.)
